[2:17:03] this [\h__\h] video and it would take me a [\h__\h] week to do that dude I'm telling you dude I was already The Chosen editor before we even knew about this

[2:17:15] D I can do it because I think something else that everyone knows about me is that like I function really well without any sleeper food like it's yeah like I remember Holden was trying to give me tips on how cuz I was able to take these

[2:17:30] how to sleep with on like to survive on four hours of sleep and he gave me all he gave me all these tricks like always keep always go from a big screen to a with your laptop you start with your laptop then you end with your phone uh

[2:17:45] next always keep your phone right next to your bed and or your laptop right sure you always make sure you like have have an you know really loud song for your for your alarm that it's like it's yeah and then you know yeah there's two

[2:18:03] alarm and the other is to have five minute intervals every minute intervals every alarm hold I remember for for anime next I remember you coming in you're like yeah I haven't slept in 48 hours oh yeah

[2:18:17] I remember that I remember that yeah cuz I flew to New York and I did all you know we're just going to go to the con now for like you know an hour so like no no it's fine I feel the whole

[2:18:29] until finally you realized you were probably going to die if you didn't go to sleep I remember I remember this cuz I remember Holden was about to go to going to hit up the games room quickly and then's like okay go check it out and

[2:18:43] then I was like Smash and then and then I just texted Holden and I go Holden they have everything and he just text back what do you mean they go everything everything and Holden just text text back going oh

[2:19:07] what do you mean by they had everything like so they had like every game that I could possibly want to play like DDR they had all the fighting games all this Mario Kart [\h__\h] like all these fun games and [\h__\h] free and I was like like come

[2:19:22] on like they had those games like the shooting stands and [\h__\h] like where you like put in quarters normally I was like oh hell no house of the dead three oh hell yeah you were literally like going on like almost your third day at that

[2:19:35] point you yeah oh it felt so respect respect I remember very distinctly this moment whenever uh we were all because it's like a it has like a like a natural fountain outside the convention hall andever I was sitting outside the

[2:19:50] fountain in the shade and I remember that like there was these people like laring and [\h__\h] with like swords and whatnot gu and I get our bags of [\h__\h] and I look at them and I go man what the [\h__\h] is going

[2:20:04] [Laughter] on I Ken was going to a concert I think Ken was at the concert oh yeah people they all at the concert thing and so me and you were watching all their stuff outside in the shade and we were just

[2:20:18] sitting there and I like all it was happening all the like cosplayers and LARPing and like glow stick fights and [\h__\h] it was [\h__\h] hot too it was [\h__\h] it was [\h__\h] hot too it was really hot and I I looked dude what the

[2:20:30] [\h__\h] is going on dude it so always Shir I always wear anime shirts up too that's the other big thing you'll always see me with it and so it's super fun anime next was such a good

[2:20:44] unofficial cuz like the biggest the biggest difference between anime Central that year and Anime next is like anime Central was the big plan paku thing where like everyone knew we were coming and and then anime next we was just me

[2:20:56] you and Jean and people were just like what the [\h__\h] are you guys doing here like it was so fun though dude like it was so much fun going to a con completely unannounced and just having that kind of reception when we got there

[2:21:09] but like back then when I used to go to con people I it felt like I was like the the like the southern representative of paku cuz it's like people would like people would hear me talk like a lot of things you were also the black angle you

[2:21:23] were the Foreigner as well is important it's very because VI and Angar and you yeah true because people would always ask are you you do you are you on a podcast like um yeah like are you on Poco like uh oh

[2:21:39] yeah people would just get really like people would just be like oh wow it's and people out somebody will ask oh I I I actually listen to this one guy on on like oh really cool do you listen to it do you listen to his podcast like yeah

[2:21:53] and then I remember this one time the guy was just like the same the same guy was like yeah listen to this one listen to that podcast too and he just for a second thought of it and he just realized it was me and his eyes just got

[2:22:06] wide and then he started talking to me about killer kill and it was just crazy it was it was it was it was pretty funny at the time but yeah I had make in that lant pretty fun I just I'm really looking forward to the future of just

[2:22:19] kind of how we pursue all of this because I would love nothing more than conventions and see if they'd be willing to like even provide a just to like even provide a just admission anything like patreon side

[2:22:32] like I [\h__\h] love meeting people like I say I say this often because it's true but like most my friends in England like IRL friends I met at conventions and they were they they' watched my stuff before and now we're just like we're the

[2:22:45] bestas of the mate so like I love meeting like I love meeting people like oh yeah conventions is such a good opportunity because you have time to opportunity because you have time to hang out um and just get to know people

[2:22:58] friends you're meeting new people as well fun all all in all that's the reason we're here cuz now like no matter who you talk to in this community you know at least they're an anime fan so you have something to talk about Eugene

[2:23:54] it was him and his him and his girlfriend uh and we were just hanging girlfriend uh and we were just hanging out at the bar and uh his uh um and we out at the bar and uh his uh um and we got drunk together and so his his GF um

[2:24:07] anyone who's hung out with Sydney in real life will know that she really real life will know that she really loves getting people drunk uh and making them take [\h__\h] loads and loads of shots um so so so Eugene's girlfriend

[2:24:23] not she's not that much of a heavyweight so what happened is uh and she was very impressionable as well so she had had a bit too much to drink and she' started throwing up in the toilet and since since she was in the woman's the day was

[2:24:37] going great yeah so her day was going great and then she was so she she was in the woman's toilet for about half an hour so it was just me Eugene and Sydney so Eugene's like uh should someone probably go check on her and so Sydney

[2:24:50] Volunteers Of course being the only girl in the group so she goes in sees sees her throwing up in the toilet and she goes you know what you need I think you goes you know what you need I think you need another shot so so so then she

[2:25:05] proceeds to get her another shot and then of course uh that completely ended her night so very sorry about that Eugene so you know great first impression to meet meeting us me and Sydney but uh I feel like you I feel

[2:25:21] the couple that other couples just don't want to hang out with cuz you're just [\h__\h] it's pretty chaotic if they're both together I've been with each of them by themselves yeah because I was in Japan with Sydney and I was in America

[2:25:35] with gar but together it's a pretty interesting chaotic mess yeah you just aou alcohol it's kind of like the perfect storm um

[2:27:27] Throttle about that night was that uh me and ended up in this like we ended up in this side like Rave thing it wasn't the main one but it's like outside Outdoors SW it was unofficial so you could drink and everything and smoke there because

[2:27:40] it's outdoors and there not regulated or anything hey that was so much fun it was it yeah are you sh your face yeah we're talking about how we as a couple just get everyone around us absolutely [\h__\h] face well I

[2:27:57] about the first time Sydney got properly wasted in England um so he was also at an anime convention and do you guys do you guys know what yab bombs are yeah H yeah we ordered one while we were there yeah I ordered one that was like 11

[2:28:11] bucks yeah it was a lot yeah so so Sydney had never had a Jager bom prior to coming to England and one of my friends bought her one and this was at about like it was at 3:00 in the afternoon was 1:00 in the afternoon and

[2:28:26] were just like you know getting married and everything and literally about 2 hours later at like 3:00 Sydney was just absolutely [\h__\h] wasted um just like keep buying me them you were you were shouting abuse at like

[2:28:40] everyone that was walking past I remember my God I just I I just don't want to deal I I can't imagine dealing with Sydney drun cuz I feel like with the two of you and gun gets indisposed and I have to take care of

[2:43:16] FUNimation thing to watch it or how many people have cared to like actually buy the DVD you know it's it's it's fairly interesting to see also I feel like kiss anime is a much better like aggregator of who's of who's watching what than any

[2:43:29] other place one thing I found very interesting uh was the one time I went to when when we went to anime Central there were hardly any one punch man um cosplayers like to sh their head huh nobody wants

[2:43:43] characters in one punch man than just that but I remember when Attack on Titan came out and like literally every second person was either or [\h__\h] junko from dang and Rob oh my God you know you know what is

[2:43:57] like there's two things you need a symbol and you need a meme costume AKA a uniform like you need you need one of those two things you need a symbol or a meme costume like and Attack on Titan had literally both they had the survey

[2:45:35] happens and it doesn't even happen every year but hey no I mean I mean okay like I think there's like one show every year that kind of like just kills everything else in terms of popularity um

[2:45:49] however I do think there's like a subset of like Nori fans and I don't know how to what to call them aside from that because they're not necessarily like people who they're into anime right but they're not into anime as deep as we are

[2:46:02] they won't watch something like kilo Giga they won't watch something like you Giga they won't watch something like you know uh aaku or like What's that show rakugo that came out in the winter they they watch the stuff that is like the

[2:46:15] they watch the stuff that is like the big pushed show like uh parasite or or [\h__\h] toky yeah like the tsunami shows like Tokyo Ghoul and [\h__\h] like those kinds of shows how did Tokyo Ghoul gets so popular I is this is this is that

[2:46:30] specific subset of fans like yeah because it's so it's so accessible because it's it's it's still humans versus Humans technically and I find that that predominantly is like really popular or at least Mankind versus X

[2:46:47] yeah like that kind of variable seems to be a really common subset of like what's popular in the mainstream like a lot of common like popular anime are boiled down to Mankind versus this thing that's not mankind which is which is surprising

[2:47:02] because like then you would you would expect something like sarf of the end to be absolutely like amazingly popular I don't know why that wasn't as popular as it was yeah it could I mean cuz it wasn't it wasn't as well made as as

[3:25:35] so it's kind of it's kind of a weird transition moment right now because uh if we if we can make something out of this we will like we we we will go all the way to make the best the best content and just the best

[3:25:48] community possible if we get the chance you know we're seeing how far we can go at the moment um but yeah at the moment we'll take it one step at a time and yeah we'll continue what we're doing and hopefully you guys can see the good
