[00:01] banned for private drawings they did in their Google Drive. We have officially hit rock bottom when it comes to censorship because I really don't think this post is currently going viral. A lot of people are talking about it as

[00:14] views, and that's just strictly this post alone. And there's a lot of exact same thing happen to them. And it's the doesn't just stop there. We also have the stuff basically with PayPal in the last few days where

[00:27] they're now systematically banning a lot of people for drawing art. For instance, having, you know, payments for people to commission them to make artwork. And so straight up permanently limiting their account or shutting down their account,

[00:40] stealing their money for them being commissioned to draw artwork of doesn't just stop there. We also have Fantia, which, you know, I commented on, an official statement pretty much, you know, kind of putting the final nail in

[00:54] "Yeah, we're going to force you to have to regulate, censor, black box everything." So, it's just systematically a ton of bad news let's just let's get into the first post, which is the manga author getting

[01:08] banned. So, by the way, I hate to admit this with all the embarrassment it brings, but I got my Google account banned. It happened when I was uploading data from an old comic I drew to drive. And a warning popped up. Even the appeal

[01:21] for review, re-review got rejected. And boom, account banned just like that. And they they requested a re-review, instantly got denied, and then banned. And this falls in line typically with Google and YouTube's automated AI

[01:36] systems and stuff and bots. So, I this is entirely believable. Seriously, it's account for all sorts of sites and services. This might not affect the you're the type thinking me and a goody two-shoes, maybe watch yourself, all

[01:51] right? So, pretty much what this author is saying is that they posted their old comic, their old manga basically, into their Google Drive, okay? Their private Google Drive, nobody sees it, just them, and they got their account straight up

[02:06] banned. That means that their email and anything they have attached with it and all that, probably YouTube and everything, gone. They cannot access that anymore. That means important files and data theoretically is just straight

[02:18] up gone. Insanity, straight up. Now, you're probably wondering, okay, who is this author? What have they wrote? And what did they potentially put to their Google Drive that would have gotten this ban happen in the first place? Now, no

[02:30] matter what manga show, it's inexcusable because it's fictional, it's just a drawing. And that manga is Akisora. Now, this manga, from my knowledge, has been heavily affected by censorship laws in the past, like in the 2000s and 2010s.

[02:43] And I believe, thanks to um the actual censorship laws that were applied to this, it forced the series to get basically canceled very early on because it dealt with a lot of taboo content, forbidden romance, so to speak. I don't

[02:55] that. But more or less, this manga series was very infamous at the time, and it brought a lot of controversy with it. And so the manga author that had their entire account suspended and removed was the creator of this series.

[03:09] And so if I had to take an educated guess, they uploaded maybe Akisora or some forms of it to probably have as a history because it's like, you know, Drive, okay? In your mind, you're thinking, oh, nobody's going to see it.

[03:21] to see it or whatever. You know, you're putting there to store files digitally. That's why you're doing it. But like, obviously, Google had a problem with that. They scanned his files and just straight up banned the account. And

[03:34] That's odd. I think it's a little bit creepy and odd that Google is scanning your private Google Drive files. Like, private. They're They're not even public. Just scanning them and then banning your account. Like, I know it's

[03:47] that they did that. They went that far, especially for like an old manga series like this, and most likely auto AI detected on top of that. It's legitimately just straight up horrendous news to see, and I cannot help but feel

[04:01] this author's continuously been hit by censorship over the years for their work Akisora, and I'm really just sad to see that this account is or this author is continuously getting pretty much taking punches to the face, and you know, this

[04:16] Japan. A lot of people are talking about it, how this is completely unjust, and allows this author to have their account back because they potentially could have lost like, let's say, thousands upon thousands of manga drafts and files on

[04:30] that account because of what Google just did. It's honestly inexcusable. Now, getting into the next piece of news, we got this. PayPal, this is more or less an extension of what I've been talking about for over a year at this point, but

[04:42] pretty much we have payment processors like Visa and MasterCard and banks as well that outright deny and steal money from people, especially Japanese or less the exact same thing where PayPal is now heavily going after

[04:56] get commissioned to make art for people. PayPal apparently is going outside of their site, looking at what potentially where you're getting your money from, account. This once again feels like very much overreach and feels like an

[05:10] like if it's a legal purchase and you're just doing art, why is PayPal getting involved? They shouldn't honestly at all. It's the same thing I say against MasterCard. So, this is completely gross, and this is obviously making

[05:24] waves as well, and it's causing even a few politicians to actually comment on this and potentially find some reform even within Japan. So, hopefully that does go somewhere. I really hope it does. Then we got Fantia, which I

[05:36] of from a few days ago, and go watch that if you want a full breakdown, but this situation right here is really bad for one big reason, and that is the fact that Fantia pretty much more or less in this official statement, they gave up.

[05:49] They they gave up and it it's happening. And I guess I do need to explain. They're forcing every artist on the platform to censor. And obviously not the traditional censor with blurs or mosaics or whatever with like lines over

[06:03] it. They're expecting you to put basically a full-blown black box over everything that might be even slightly suggestive. And so it pretty much destroys the entire artwork. Now, the problem here, it's not just that. But

[06:15] platform that have been potentially using this platform for years, maybe a decade, for a very long time. And this this new revision of their guidelines is affecting everything, every art piece on their platform. So that means that

[06:28] they've uploaded a thousand different art pieces, they would have to go through all those art pieces and, you know, censor them with like black boxes or just straight up delete everything, which would cause a lot of art to be

[06:41] account could get suspended, banned, removed, and they would lose any form of so this is obviously getting into something very similar when it comes to PayPal and stuff like that and payment processors. This is most likely Western

[06:55] companies pushing down on this Japanese platform and saying if you don't follow censor things, you're going to die as a site. And Fantia, by the way, has already been targeted by payment processors, Visa and MasterCard, in the

[07:09] past. This isn't the first time. They actually have. But now if I had to take trend we've been getting as of late, this is probably something to do with banks. And obviously we have seen a lot of Japanese banks getting involved as of

[07:22] lot of these Japanese banks are connected with Visa and MasterCard and that um are probably causing this to happen. So, yeah, overall it's very clear who potentially is the bad actor here and

[07:35] this statement more or less kind of signifies that it's dead. Like there's platform. They're not trying to really fight back. It's just the end. And it's legitimately it's sad. So, yeah, a bunch of bad news

[07:49] bearer of bad news, but it's got to be shared. I'm legitimately disgusted by unacceptable. It should not have happened to begin with, but here we are. But, I will leave it at that. If you enjoy my content, please subscribe. It

[08:02] does help out a lot. And uh yeah, be safe, stay healthy. Sheba out.
