[22:56] such things and then um I had one of my favorite lectures ever that I can't actually remember uh all I remember is that it the first big lecture I ever had it was in an actual lecture hall and not in a

[23:10] stereotypical classroom and the professor was going on about like oh now I remember he started with the he started the lecture by saying thank God started the lecture by saying thank God for the Precambrian

[23:27] little bit no had any idea what he was talking about and then he went through a history lesson and not just like a history of art or something he's like he he went on and big like this like beginning of the universe type history

[23:40] beginning of the universe type history lesson and uh it spent the lecture was about two hours long and at the end of it it was like and that was the Precambrian explosion which if I'm recalling correctly and don't quote me

[23:52] on it is basically the time referred to is when um living beings developed eyes and he like without the precan explosion none of you would be here because media as we know would not exist for a civilization that don't have

[24:07] eyes and that was like the most interesting lecture I ever had but New Media it wasn't it wasn't necessarily film but it wasn't in hoping to do some film related stuff because I was doing this stuff before I

[24:20] even went to University um we're this is a sixy year celebratory live stream so um six years ago I was working in newfinland Canada New Finland is a province for those it's like a state for those in America but it's a province

[24:35] it's it's a Canadian thing um well not just a Canadian thing it's also a big European thing anyway um but I was living in new I was living in New Foundland or New Finland whichever way you wish to

[24:47] um which way you ever wish to pronounce it and uh I worked at a grocery store and I worked in the meat department of a grocery store wrapping meat making ground beef wrapping up those steaks and shrink

[25:01] wrap I did that for about a year and while I was doing that that is when um I bought my first camera which is actually in a bag over there uh because I don't use it anymore and I made my first review which I uploaded I'm not sure of

[25:16] about history I'm not sure of the exact date but it was either the 20th or the 21st of January 2009 which was about six years ago which is why I said this was belated because I'm not actually sure of the the

[25:31] I'm not actually sure of the the official date mainly because um it was on a YouTube channel that doesn't exist anymore because this was back before um just me refer to as the grand YouTube Exodus when all of us were kicked off

[25:45] because of copyright reasons before um YouTube got a little tiny bit more lenient when it came to their copyright problems anyway so that was a very long answer to this question I I'm not going to get through these at this rate

[26:14] think should be adapted to anime form probably none of it um although that's kind of weird to say uh any of it can be it just depends on what and I don't I prefer looking and judging things when

[26:27] speculation cuz it never really goes anywhere um you can do base speculation but just to say oh wouldn't it be great if this thing was an anime well might it might it might not who knows but that's

[26:40] anything not Japanese related can't be turned into an anime um I know many were turned into anime quite a few things actually so anything could

[27:07] opinion on the casting of Scarlett Johansson as the major in the Ghost in the Shell liveaction movie I don't have an opinion A lot of people have been asking me what I thought about scarjo and um

[27:20] here's the thing the Ghost the movie hasn't been made yet to me speculating on this is no different than speculating on Reeves being Spike and Cowboy b up until the film is made I'm not going to believe its existence okay cuz going

[27:35] just based on thoughts and feelings and all that things of what may happen that's just speculation I don't like doing that she could do a very good job thing if I'm going to hate anything about a Ghost in the Shell light of AP

[27:48] and Adam Ghost in the Shell live action anything to do with scarjo it'll probably be the writers and potenti things about ghost in the show that is

[54:34] it used to be I really wish tunami would oh tunami needs to do two things one because I really dislike their like almost midnight time slot because I like otherwise because I usually get up earlier in the morning or I try to

[54:47] playing Final Fantasy 14 I just keep playing and then oh look it's 5:00 in the morning as tends to happen um but they need to do that and and uh they that's the main thing oh yeah no and they also need to make it so that I can

[1:33:48] fine I guess I had a weird um Elementary School life in that um I was the run in the class I was the one that everybody picked on like a lot um I also have this bounce in my step which apparently was very weird um I had a lisp uh in very

[1:34:03] early elementary school that I got teased for actually got teased for a lot of things mainly because I wasn't um wasn't the brightest of kids also I much so and then it never really worked out um which probably led to a lot of my

[1:34:17] emotional problems now and my social problems mostly uh but I went to multi ude of elementary schools um I was at one Elementary School in Miss Saga until grade the end of grade

[1:34:33] two uh then we moved to the country and I went to an elementary school and there from grades three until um two months into grade seven um was taken out of that Elementary School du to bullying

[1:34:48] problems and a lot of other nasty stuff and moved into a different elementary um the remainder of my elementary school years at and it wasn't that much better I am going for me which was a nice

[1:35:02] little bonus and then I went to high school for four years and then I spent a then I went to University while also making anime reviews a big chunk of me fun fact so

[1:35:25] answer to it this is from Jacob W um here's my question for you in your reviews you use either a point based system or a stream by Frosty or in the case of school days cleans it with Holy Fire uh what is the reason

[1:35:38] you what what is the reason you some and not others and how does they relate to each other so what is the reason I gave some of it was because I have the feel about it I'm not going to go into details

[1:35:53] about the the number system because I don't use it anymore um but generally the stream by and frosty things um streams is for things that well actually of thing that if for whatever reason I magically ever went into your house saw

[1:36:07] shelf I'd be like hey you have good taste um that's what the buy is for stream is for the things that are less than that generally unless it's like [\h__\h] usually and then certified Frosty is like the the best but I try to

[1:36:36] really should but really it's just a matter of me going back through all my videos and actually figuring out which ones um I probably remember if I asked them but I couldn't actually list them

[1:38:26] find them interesting um honestly the best Gateway anime is something very best Gateway anime is something very personal to them uh anytime if I was to I would find out what they actually enjoy and find an anime that is that is

[1:38:38] like that um so it's different for various different people my dad it was big sci-fi buff so ghost in the show worked perfectly um what I would normally

[1:38:51] recommend not so much as a Gateway anime but a very like well-rounded anime is full Metal Panic that basically has everything if if you can get through life because full Metal Panic has everything in it it's like got different

[1:39:07] colored hair it's got the comedy it's got the serious bits it's got Mech it's got the serious bits it's got Mech it's kind of a Shonen in some

[1:39:21] okay from a B I say AB because a is his first name and his last name starts with B what is your favorite AMV in a Bridge series and why my favorite AMV now I haven't watched a lot of amvs in the last couple

[1:47:47] because they were pain in the ass to get so just I guess you can go that rout if you want to but the the most of the actual laminated ones I got at cons like booths that have the like a very big box just full of laminated posters and they

[1:48:01] something and then you just like surf through them and I just pick them out and hand them five bucks and move on and that's where I got a lot of my posters that's where I got a lot of my posters that is where I got a lot of my

[1:48:18] T um how do you have to make all of these reviews I don't know how I remember you said that you made them going through University which must have been a hectic time for you I'm about to act enter

[1:48:31] sixth form in the UK but I want to embrace my love for anime more have more times for social times relationships free times or anything how did you cope and you have any tips uh fun fact um me making anime reviews um in

[1:48:46] University my Fondest Memories of course uh was my first year of University when back to when I reviewed the first season of Spice and Wolf when I reviewed Last Exile um when I reviewed Soul Eater those ones um I used to do all of those

[1:49:02] those ones um I used to do all of those reviews in one day so uh I had a class it was a Wednesday that I did this um I had class in the morning usually from 9: till 11:30 12 I would get back into U my dorm room by 12:00 I would have a script

[1:49:17] written by three I would start editing by five and I would have the video up on blip because I was using blip at the time and I'd usually have the video up on blip by 11: or midnight and then I'd go to bed that was me reviewing back in

[1:49:31] review day and then the rest of the week was um um me dealing with school and watching

[1:49:45] couldn't do that now I could not write um film and edit a review in a day anymore it just wouldn't happen it takes too long um and most of the time now it a bit more I don't try to do everything all in one go

[1:49:58] um uh but usually I try to be like a day to write so then I have like a little bit of leeway time filming takes a a few hours because set up and then I usually do a couple of takes of everything that has to be

[1:50:12] and editing usually editing I could probably do all of the editing in a day but I spread it out between two days just to give myself some breathing room um and plus for the unknown so like Content ID and that sort of

[1:50:34] favorite cowboy bbop episode probably periot lefu periot lefu is an amazing episode oh actually I'm just going to go with that that was from Adrian M I'm going to go with period lefu it's my favorite bbop episode it probably isn't

[2:06:39] literally no other way for you to get it so like if you're in a country where legal streaming doesn't exist and nobody licenses anything for your country go it's mostly in North America I don't like people that oh I went and I I

[2:06:52] just like you can watch F Metal Alchemist for free just go and watch it side I'd be surprised if you couldn't watch fun FAL Alchemist on FUNimation site but it's the kind of thing that if it's not available

[2:07:06] anywhere go touring it I guess um but can do it legally do it for the love of God but there's no other option that I can't really blame you um so like what's a good example like if I if I told

[2:07:20] people what's it what's a show that I've positively reviewed but you can't get if positively reviewed but you can't get if you wanted to watch Deno coil you can't because it doesn't exist anywhere so you'd have to get fan subs from it

[2:07:35] somewhere um and Deno coil is amazing you should get it and then you can ask of justify it by saying that if there's enough if there's enough of a fan base of a show because of fan Subs it will get licensed eventually that's that's

[2:07:50] unless it's a legal issue as to why it didn't get licensed in the first place I'm just like how the hell has this not been licensed yet um so I look at well I I've mentioned it like two or three times already but hioka how how has

[2:43:35] in this case now it's Pokemon Silver um I have done I edit it down into like a small 10-minute highlights because I play like usually around three games for about an hour each so it's a three-hour stream and I usually take one

[2:43:48] of the games and I condense it the hour down into like a 15minute uh highlight reel and I used to upload that to the gaming channel my question gaming channel my question is um and I'm going to be putting up a

[2:44:02] pole and I'm going to be spamming it in the IRC well not really spamming it but I'm going to post it a couple of places in the IRC and I'm also going to post it a couple of times into the the the YouTube place is would you care if I put

[2:50:31] and I haven't watched Soul Leader not uh from Houston see have I been thoughts on the second volume no I haven't kept up with Ruby I watched the first episode of the second volume of Ruby um the reason I haven't is because

[2:50:47] I watched volume one of Ruby as it was coming out and I hated doing it because of the episode lengths my favorite way to watch Ruby was at anime North last year I bought Ruby on DVD and we watched it in the hotel room from beginning to

[2:50:59] end because on DVD Ruby is just one long movie basically and that is the much I thought so so I'm holding off for volume two until I can get it on DVD and just watch it in one go and that's what I'm going to do so that is that that's

[2:51:14] how that's going to work um PJs do you indulge in any other forms of animated entertainment such as North

[2:51:27] American animated TV shows or movies uh I've sort of mentioned this before but it was probably a little too early in the Stream um recently I've been watching Gravity Falls Gravity Falls is amazing and if you don't if you can

[2:51:39] watch Gravity Falls please do so Gravity Falls is amazing um I'm guessing people I've ever watched Avatar or Legend of Cory yet the answer to both is no because I do it's just I haven't found the time for it

[2:51:54] yet because I keep seeing all these like I on I keep seeing images and and gift sets from Avatar and cor yes I know it's on Netflix um I pretty sure that's what maybe you're still talking about Ruby

[2:52:09] anyway um I haven't got around to it because I keep seeing uh gift sets and Twitter and Tumblr and so forth and I'm just like this is like this i' know I'd love love the show I just haven't got around to it I think I think part of me

[2:52:22] is like saving it for like a special occasion when I just want to watch and that's what it's for um but it's also kind of long because like Avatar was what four seasons and Kora was three or so something like

[2:52:36] or so something like that uh from Neil H how do you usually go about choosing a show to review do you request do requests or popular opinion come into play very often or is your review schedule completely subject

[2:52:48] to your whims that last one most of the time my my whims mainly so much I'm sitting here going I need to put up a review in the next week what have I watched recently and that's generally how that goes um

[2:53:00] of the times like popular popular opinion comes into play a couple of times things like um uh when I reviewed Attack on Titan and sort out online those things were popular opinion based because everybody

[2:53:14] kill so those are the ones that I made sure the reviews were basic lay out fairly quickly after the the shows themselves had finished airing um those done that recently uh but for the majority of the time it is subject

[2:53:29] I review something like girls and pants and nobody nobody would ask for girls think anybody did ask for girls and Panzer but I felt like talking about girls and Panzer so I did and you guys can deal with it that's generally how

[2:54:37] I've invited to go to um a convention in Philadelphia called too many games it's it's still a convention in general and I've heard it's fairly decent so I'm I'm also been trying to swing going to con Bravo in Hamilton Ontario um later

[2:54:54] the summer because I don't know why I've never gone to con Bravo I could drive to con Bravo if I had a car um because it's not too that it's not too that it's not probably do that um but those are the three cons I'm hoping to go to um

[2:55:07] normally don't go to many cons that year I think last year last year was like the like the most I ever did which was three cuz last year I did magfest anime North this year at the very least I have two so far which is magfest and Anime North

[2:58:53] do exist in the guard of Sinners and sukim universe but I almost feel like the laws of majorie in those shows and those universes are different than how magic has been shown to work in Fate Zero um not necessarily saying that they

[2:59:06] aren't the same universe because they could be um it's just that without possible but I'm not willing to say whether they whether it is or not

[3:07:20] good um I've had good times doing this I enjoy um I enjoy making entertainment I'm doing and apparently a lot of people like it I enjoy meeting people um the people at cons and so forth um and and they tell me how much they've really

[3:07:35] enjoyed my work and that's um very moving and and so forth and um I appreciate it a lot uh because it it does slightly help me get motivated I do do this a lot because um I like to do it

[3:07:49] um but getting good feedback is always nice and I enjoy doing that a lot and getting that a lot but um even if all I got was negative feedback like a lot of the Fall um most of what I was getting quote quote was negative feedback from a

[3:08:02] lot of my videos uh because that's just how the the YouTube comment system works I I actually think how YouTube does comments right now is pretty dumb uh because all it takes is somebody to just make um a very troll flame bait like

[3:08:14] it and then it gets brought to the top of the thing and it's so hard to see especially when it's just from people that don't comment that often but just wanted to like say hi and that kind of thing and it really

[3:08:30] comments like that and I'm very I I very much appreciate that 1,795 people came out to see me and over 2,000 in total um I was I think three hours of people actually thinking that

[3:08:45] I'm worth it cuz I didn't think I I was for a very long time uh hell I still don't I think that number is lying to me actually uh because I don't actually I can't actually prove it maybe if I maybe if I actually make my own panel at a con

[3:08:59] make a panel at anime North and then I feel like uh no that's not going to for a I'm gonna ask for a panel in anime North and they're going to be look at me North and they're going to be look at me and like no and then they don't

[3:09:12] um but I I I should probably should and then that might make me that might be a pataku panel went really well at ASN last year so we'll see I I might do it I actually do in the panel other than just doing Q&A because I think that doing

[3:09:28] just Q&A would be boring I need to come up with something I just have no idea piece of hair is annoying me because we're getting into an emotional time um but I guess since I have a lot of you here um I guess I

[3:09:44] should mention a couple of things uh first off I I'm not dead um I know I was and so forth uh but then I did Tokyo Ghoul and girls and paner um I have a couple of days um that should have been up today but um isn't going up today

[3:11:11] other games I played all the way through Pokemon Blue I played all the way through Stein gate that took like all of last year to get through I've played a have a feel like coming out and watching me play video games on a weekly basis

[3:11:23] that's a thing I do um but if not hey the highlight reels for some of the some up on my channel now and that's a cool thing um I have a schedule that I wrote did when I first started playing the review week of awesome was I planned out

[3:11:37] all the stuff that I wanted to do um and now I'm looking keep looking at it and I some cases CU I should have had a first reaction done by now already but I spent too much time working on the top list that's not out and and
