I Made $28/Hour Copying Roblox Videos
45sThe promise of easy money and a step-by-step method hooks viewers looking for quick income.
▶ Play ClipA 14-year-old YouTuber shares his journey of trying to make money by copying a viral Roblox YouTube channel. He details his video creation process, monetization struggles, and how he earned $28/hour through a referral program instead of YouTube ad revenue.
After seeing a TikTok about making thousands from Roblox YouTube videos, the creator decided to copy the method exactly.
He made a video about active codes for a Roblox game, using a voiceover and basic editing, completing it in about an hour.
He stole a thumbnail, which led to lower views; original thumbnails performed better.
The first video got 149 views; to monetize, he needed 4,000 watch hours and 1,000 subscribers, requiring over 130,000 views.
He made videos for more popular Roblox games, which got up to 800 views, but still far from monetization.
He found the Fetch app with a referral program: 4,000 points ($4) per referral, redeemable for Visa gift cards.
He created a video promoting Fetch as a way to get free Robux, which got over 5,000 views and earned $30 from referrals.
After 8 videos and 10 hours total work, he earned 141,000 Fetch points ($141), averaging $14/hour, or $28/hour if counting only the last 4 videos.
The creator earned $28/hour through referral marketing rather than YouTube ad revenue, showing that alternative monetization strategies can be more effective for small channels.
"Title accurately reflects the $28/hour earnings, though the method relies on referrals, not just posting videos."

04:48[00:01] claiming to make thousands of dollars a month making Roblox YouTube videos the same age as me and I was making hardly any money so I decided to copy exactly easy as he said it was and spoiler alert let me tell you it actually went pretty
[00:15] down what type of videos I made exactly how I made them how I made money and I made maybe you're not interested in starting a Roblox Channel yourself but World of ways to make money and I use the basic concepts that I learned from
[00:29] other ways but let's get right into it so a couple years ago when I was 14 the time I was just scrolling on Tik Tok and while I was swiping I came across how to make a ton of money on YouTube and he showed some proof of his revenue
[00:43] videos and I found out that he was making all this money from a Roblox YouTube channel so I went and I watched some of his videos and I realized that making thousands of dollars a month so I decided I was going to make a Roblox
[00:56] YouTube channel copy everything he did and see if I could make as much money M Banks up my first video was going to be an exact copy of the videos that went viral for this guy and those videos were codes to a Roblox game that was a b
[01:09] away in the videos gave you free stuff in game and they were really easy to on Google B simulator codes and the first result would just have all of the active codes and all I had to do was film a voiceover of me saying all those
[01:22] between then all you had to do is throw some gameplay over that voice over edit it very basically I can get one of these videos done in about an hour and based easily reach over 10,000 views and so after completely finishing one of these
[01:34] realized I needed a thumbnail and this is where I did something where I would not recommend I stole somebody's thumbnail all I did was add the word doing this because one you're stealing somebody else's work and two it actually
[01:47] I made with stolen thumbnails did not get as many views and on this channel most popular had original thumbnails that I made myself but anyways after posted the video and for a channel that didn't have any subscribers it didn't do
[02:01] terrible but it wasn't as much as I was expecting the video ended up getting 149 making money I needed 4,000 hours of watch time and 1,000 subscribers getting but the 4,000 hours of watch time was going to be hard for the average video
[02:16] person watching 60% of the video I would need over 130,000 views to start getting paid by YouTube so I decided to make videos about more popular games like didn't even know what these games were I just opened up Roblox and and saw which
[02:30] the video making process with these three games and they actually did better than the first video one of them only got 146 views but the other two got 800 monetized by YouTube I was going to have to make over 200 of these videos and so
[02:44] looking for ways to make money and I came across this app called Fetch they actually had a referral program that gave you 4,000 points for every points was worth $1 and I got 4,000 points for referring somebody so that's
[02:58] $4 for every person I refer but the only problem was you had to cash out in gift cards but they did offer Visa gift cards which is basically just a credit card so to realize but I can make videos on this Roblox Channel promoting fetch rewards
[03:11] thought about it the more it made sense because if you're not familiar with scan receipts and I realized I could promote this as a way to get free Roo scan some receipts then you could cash out for a Visa gift card and then buy
[03:24] about getting free Roblox got a lot of views cuz one time I screen recorded free Roblox I reposted it and it got over 50,000 views so with this new information I created my own video promoting this app as a way to get free
[03:38] because I knew that most free Roblox videos were a scam and I never wanted to actually help the viewers so it was a win-win for both of us so I went ahead thumbnail and posted it and it did better than all my others the video got
[03:52] over 5,000 views and the money started to roll in Not only was I getting closer to getting monetized by YouTube but my idea of getting referrals to fetch rewards actually worked the video had made me about $30 after only a few days
[04:04] and so I very slowly continued to upload a few of similar videos onto this month which was terrible considering it only took me an hour to make a video but successful with one of them actually getting only 21 views and after that I
[04:18] channel to work on some other things like growing an Instagram theme page and but like I mentioned with an average time of 1 hour to complete every video I channel with eight videos uploaded I added those extra two hours for random
[04:34] stuff like making a profile picture a banner you know just random stuff like that and from referring people to fetch rewards I was able to get 141,000 fetch points which was equal to about $141 and that averages out to about $14
[04:48] on the last four videos so if we count that then that averages out to about $28 an hour but I could have easily made a lot more money by hiring an editor or in general if I was still uploading to this day I probably would be monetized
[05:02] inspiration from this and start your own channel or maybe give you an idea of a how much my first YouTube paycheck was on this channel then you could watch this video then I would appreciate it if you dropped a sub but anyways guys thank
[05:14] you so much for watching I hope you guys have a great rest of your day and peace
