AI Summary

The video reveals exactly how much each major social media platform pays per 1,000 views, based on the creator's own monetized accounts totaling over 1 million followers. It breaks down the requirements to get monetized, typical payouts for long-form and short-form content, and strategies to maximize earnings on YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, Snapchat, and Facebook.

[[0:36]]
Monetization cheat sheet

A downloadable cheat sheet summarizing all platform pay-per-thousand-view earnings is provided in the video description.

[[1:28]]
YouTube Long Form – Highest earner

Requirements: 4,000 watch hours in 12 months + 1,000 subscribers. Earnings: $2–$100 per 1,000 views, with an example channel RPM of $47. Factors affecting RPM: niche, audience age, audience location (e.g., US pays more than India), and video length (videos over 8 minutes can run mid-roll ads).

[[5:52]]
YouTube Shorts – Hard to qualify, low per-view pay

Requirements: 10 million engaged views in 90 days + 1,000 subscribers. Earnings: $0.10–$0.35 per 1,000 engaged views, with an example 90-day earning of $6,550. Audience location is the main factor; US viewers pay $0.20–$0.35, India viewers $0.01–$0.02.

[[10:18]]
TikTok – High earnings, additional rewards

Requirements: 10,000 followers + 100,000 valid views in 30 days + videos at least 1 minute long. Earnings: $0.10–$1.00 per 1,000 qualified views. Additional rewards can double standard payouts, often given for educational, facetime, high-watch-time videos. Example: $2,000 from 1.4 million views ($1.43 per 1,000 views).

[[16:01]]
Instagram – Invite only, low pay

Monetization is invite-only via the professional dashboard. Bonuses for reels have mostly been replaced by photo/carousel rewards. Historical pay: ~$0.05 per 1,000 views.

[[19:18]]
Snapchat – Good potential if you get Snap Star

Requirements: Get a Snap Star (minimum 50,000 followers). Earnings: Stories $0.05–$0.25 per 1,000 views; Spotlights ~$0.01–$0.02. Example total earnings: ~$2,300 from crystals (1 crystal = $0.10).

[[21:20]]
Facebook – Waitlist, decent pay once accepted

Requirements: Public page + 10,000 followers (apply via professional dashboard). Earnings: reels $0.10–$1.00 per 1,000 views. Also possible to monetize photos and run in-stream ads on videos over 90 seconds.

[00:00] In this video, I'm about to show you how

[00:01] much every single social media platform

[00:03] pays you for 1,000 views. And the only

[00:06] reason I know that this works is cuz I'm

[00:08] actually monetized on my main account

[00:09] called Fly Juggler. Across my YouTube,

[00:11] Instagram, Facebook, Tik Tok, and

[00:13] Snapchat, I have over 1 million total

[00:16] followers. And one of my main sources of

[00:18] revenue has just been how much these

[00:19] platforms actually pay me per thousand

[00:22] views as just either a share of ad

[00:24] revenue or as a reward for doing good

[00:26] for the platform. And so I've had to

[00:27] learn from scratch how much each of

[00:29] these platforms pay you and how it

[00:31] actually works to get in. But I'm going

[00:32] to give it all to you for free in this

[00:34] video. So let's get right into it. Okay,

[00:36] so firstly, I've put this all together

[00:38] in a really neat sheet called the social

[00:40] media monetization cheat sheet. And I've

[00:42] worked on this in partnership with

[00:43] Repurpose. More on that later, but

[00:44] basically this should be in the

[00:46] description by the time this video is

[00:47] going out. And it includes all of the

[00:49] information that I have in this video in

[00:50] a nice little cheat sheet. So I'll be

[00:52] using it to show you guys each platform

[00:54] and go in more depth. But you can always

[00:56] refer to this cheat sheet if you need

[00:57] it. Now, I know a lot of you are

[00:58] thinking about how much you actually get

[01:00] paid on short form platforms. So, I want

[01:02] to quickly address the elephant in the

[01:03] room, which is YouTube long form. And

[01:05] then everything after I mention YouTube

[01:07] long form, we'll be talking about short

[01:08] form platforms and how those platforms

[01:10] pay per thousand views. So, the way that

[01:12] this is structured is I'll introduce the

[01:13] platform. I'll go through the actual

[01:15] requirements of getting monetized cuz

[01:17] sometimes it can be really hard to get

[01:18] monetized. But then once you are

[01:20] monetized, I'll talk about how much

[01:21] money it actually pays per thousand

[01:23] views. And then finally, how you can

[01:25] increase how much money it ends up

[01:26] paying you per thousand views. So, let's

[01:28] start with YouTube Long form. Now, as

[01:29] far as I know, YouTube long form is

[01:31] still the highest earning social media

[01:33] platform out of any platform. And to get

[01:35] monetized, it's really simple, but it's

[01:36] not necessarily easy. So, for YouTube

[01:38] long form, I already have a couple

[01:40] channels that are monetized from it. And

[01:42] just to show you guys, this channel that

[01:43] you're watching this on is already

[01:45] monetized. And here's the earnings for

[01:46] this one in the past 365 days, just to

[01:49] show you cuz I'm transparent with the

[01:50] channels that I own and how much money

[01:52] they're making. But basically, to get

[01:53] in, you just need 4,000 watch hours in

[01:55] the past 12 months and at least 1,000

[01:58] subscribers. Now, this seems really

[02:00] hard, and I will admit it's not easy,

[02:02] but if you break it down, it actually

[02:03] can be more achievable than you think.

[02:06] Because if you need 4,000 total watch

[02:08] hours, and let's say you can get an

[02:10] average view duration on your videos of

[02:12] 3 minutes. That's pretty low. If you

[02:14] made a longer video, you could probably

[02:15] get higher. But let's say each viewer on

[02:17] average watches 3 minutes of your video.

[02:19] That means each viewer is watching for

[02:21] 120th of an hour because 3 minutes * 20

[02:25] equals 60 minutes which is an hour.

[02:26] Which would mean that to get 4,000 watch

[02:28] hours, you actually just need 80,000

[02:31] views on YouTube long form. But you only

[02:33] have to hit this within a year. So if

[02:34] you divide this by 365, you just need

[02:37] 219 views per day on YouTube. If you

[02:40] post once every other day, that means

[02:42] that you actually need 438 views per

[02:44] video. And even though we can all agree

[02:46] that this is not easy to get, it

[02:48] definitely is achievable, especially if

[02:50] you're making highquality videos that

[02:52] actually answer people's questions like

[02:54] the ones that I'm making right now for

[02:55] you guys. You're very welcome. Anyways,

[02:57] with that in mind, if you get those

[02:59] 4,000 watch hours, it's almost

[03:00] guaranteed that you'll hit 1,000

[03:02] subscribers in that time period. So then

[03:04] the question is really, how much money

[03:05] do you actually make per,000 views once

[03:07] you start posting? And you can see right

[03:08] here, I have left a really, really,

[03:10] really wide range. My guide here says

[03:12] that you can make anywhere from $2 to

[03:14] $100 per thousand views that you get.

[03:16] And the truth is when it comes to

[03:18] YouTube long form, it really can vary

[03:20] that dramatically. And the simple reason

[03:21] is because the only thing that actually

[03:23] matters for how much money you make per

[03:25] thousand views is it's basically just a

[03:28] share of whatever the advertisers

[03:30] actually paid to get in front of your

[03:32] specific video. And how much advertisers

[03:34] are willing to pay to get in front of

[03:35] your specific video can depend on a lot

[03:38] of things, but it really has to do with

[03:40] how valuable is the audience for you to

[03:42] get in front of. For example, if you're

[03:43] posting videos about different private

[03:45] jets you should consider buying, an

[03:47] advertiser is going to want to pay a lot

[03:49] to get in front of a private jet

[03:51] audience because if someone's about to

[03:52] buy a private jet and you can just

[03:54] market to that person, well, you're

[03:56] going to make probably millions of

[03:58] dollars from that single sale. So, how

[04:00] much money would you be willing to spend

[04:02] to get a million dollars back? Well,

[04:04] it's going to be a lot of money, but

[04:05] that also might change depending on how

[04:07] competitive that is. Like, maybe you

[04:08] could make a lot of money from selling,

[04:10] I don't know, headphones as well, but

[04:12] it's so, so, so competitive with other

[04:14] companies that also sell headphones that

[04:16] the amount that you'd have to pay to get

[04:18] an ad in front of a video about

[04:20] headphones is also really, really,

[04:21] really, really expensive, even though

[04:23] this is much cheaper than a private jet.

[04:24] So, there's a lot of factors that go

[04:26] into it and you kind of can't know

[04:27] exactly in advance, which is why the

[04:29] variation can be so high. But just to

[04:31] show you guys a sample. If we look at my

[04:32] channel, we go to analytics and then we

[04:34] click on revenue. If we scroll down a

[04:35] bit here, we can see that my average

[04:37] amount of money per,000 views in the

[04:39] past 28 days has been $47

[04:43] per thousand views. So, that gives you a

[04:44] rough idea of generally how much money

[04:46] you'll make from YouTube long- form

[04:48] videos. Obviously, this can be improved

[04:50] and it's simply by getting into niches

[04:51] and demographics that advertisers are

[04:53] willing to spend more money on. Things

[04:55] that can affect this is the niche.

[04:56] Usually, the richer the type of

[04:58] demographic that uses that niche, the

[05:00] more amount of money you'll make per

[05:02] thousand views. But some other factors

[05:03] include the audience's age. Usually,

[05:05] older people pay you more per thousand

[05:07] views cuz they have more money. The

[05:09] audience location, and you'll almost

[05:11] always make more from people from

[05:12] countries like the United States rather

[05:14] than countries like India because people

[05:16] from the US have more money. and also

[05:18] video length. Now, this is the last

[05:19] thing I didn't mention, which is that if

[05:21] your video is long enough, and I can go

[05:22] to an example here, you're actually able

[05:24] to run ads in the middle of your YouTube

[05:26] video. Your video just has to be over 8

[05:28] minutes long, and then you can start

[05:29] running ads in the middle of your

[05:30] videos. And the more ads that people

[05:32] watch on average for your video, the

[05:34] more money that you'll obviously make

[05:35] per,000 views. So, if you have a 1-hour

[05:37] video, I know some people whose RPMs

[05:39] would have probably been like $2 per

[05:41] thousand views, but since they have like

[05:42] a 1 hour video, their RPM is much closer

[05:44] to like $20 per thousand views. So,

[05:46] that's how you can increase how much

[05:48] money you make from YouTube long form.

[05:49] But now, let's move on to some of the

[05:51] short form platforms. And next on the

[05:52] list is YouTube Shorts. Now, to show you

[05:55] guys, YouTube Shorts is actually one of

[05:56] the platforms that I've been making a

[05:58] good amount of money from recently, and

[05:59] it's from my YouTube channel called Fly

[06:01] Juggler. You can see I have 170,000

[06:04] subscribers on here, and some of my most

[06:05] popular shorts have tens of millions of

[06:08] views, which is actually kind of crazy

[06:09] to think about. In the past 90 days,

[06:11] this has actually made me $6,50,

[06:14] which is pretty nice. And so let's get

[06:15] into how to actually get monetized. Now,

[06:17] the first thing to get monetized that

[06:19] you need, and this is by far the

[06:20] hardest, is 10 million engaged views.

[06:23] And just to specify, an engaged view is

[06:26] someone who watches your video and

[06:27] doesn't swipe away immediately. So, just

[06:30] for an example, if I go to a video like

[06:31] this that I've posted and I click on

[06:33] engagement, it'll actually show me what

[06:35] percentage of people stayed to watch the

[06:37] video and what percentage of people

[06:39] swiped away. So only around 80% of the

[06:41] views actually count here because 20%

[06:44] swiped away within the first couple

[06:45] seconds. So it only counts the views

[06:47] after that. So even though this video

[06:49] has 158,000 views so far only 100,000

[06:53] engaged views has been counted. I think

[06:55] some of this registered like after and

[06:57] so it hasn't counted all the future

[06:58] views in yet. But you can see the

[06:59] engaged views is always going to be

[07:00] lower than the total views on a video.

[07:02] Although the thing is you do have 90

[07:04] days to do this. So that does help but

[07:06] that's still really hard to do. And then

[07:08] two, you need at least 1,000 subscribers

[07:10] on YouTube. Again, if you manage to hit

[07:12] the 10 million engaged Shorts views,

[07:14] there's almost no way that you're not

[07:16] going to hit 1,000 subscribers. So, I

[07:18] would just focus on getting 10 million

[07:19] engaged Shorts views as your goal. Now,

[07:21] when it comes to actually getting 10

[07:23] million views in 90 days, your goal

[07:25] should actually be to get almost all of

[07:27] these views from like one or two videos.

[07:29] And the way that this works is you

[07:31] honestly just get one video that pops

[07:33] off on YouTube and goes mega mega mega

[07:35] viral. And that basically accounts for

[07:37] you getting monetized. If you look at my

[07:39] channel, you can see that's actually

[07:40] exactly what happened in my case because

[07:42] it's not like I had, you know, a bunch

[07:44] of videos, you know, 100,000 views here,

[07:46] 100,000 views there. That's not what

[07:48] happened. I basically had one video. I

[07:50] think it might have been this one or

[07:52] maybe this one. You can see this one got

[07:54] 14 million views. It also might have

[07:56] been this one. 18 million views. And a

[07:58] single video like this is enough to push

[08:00] you over the edge for monetization. And

[08:03] I think basically one or two videos that

[08:05] really go very very viral, a lot of

[08:07] these get like five plus million views.

[08:09] Putting one to three of those videos in

[08:11] combination within 90 days is really

[08:13] what's going to put you over the edge in

[08:15] terms of getting monetized on YouTube.

[08:16] That's what you kind of have to hope and

[08:18] pray for because otherwise you're just

[08:20] never going to get monetized. So really

[08:22] just try to get mega outlier videos. Get

[08:24] one that goes insanely mega viral and

[08:27] that's how you're going to get monetized

[08:28] on YouTube shorts. From here, most

[08:30] people make an average of 10 cents to 25

[08:32] cents per thousand engaged views. I've

[08:34] seen it go as low as one or two cents,

[08:36] but also as high as like 35 cents per

[08:39] thousand engaged views. And this

[08:40] actually all depends, and this is pretty

[08:42] much the only factor that goes into it

[08:44] is the audience location. That's pretty

[08:46] much the only thing it depends on. It

[08:48] actually doesn't matter what niche

[08:49] you're from or anything like this

[08:50] because YouTube isn't deciding which ads

[08:52] to place in front of your specific

[08:54] video. It's just placing ads on the

[08:56] YouTube Shorts feed. So, since it's

[08:58] doing that, it doesn't matter at all

[08:59] what niche you're posting in. It really

[09:01] just matters what location are the

[09:03] viewers actually watching from because

[09:05] advertisers still pay to get in front of

[09:07] either an Indian audience or a United

[09:09] States audience, etc. If your audience

[09:10] was 100% from India, you'll probably

[09:13] have a 1 to2cent RPM. If your audience

[09:15] is entirely from the United States,

[09:16] you'll probably have a 20 cent to a

[09:18] 35cent RPM. To show you an example with

[09:20] my channel, let's look at my revenue in

[09:22] the past 28 days. And if I look at the

[09:24] shorts that are being posted, I earn

[09:26] around 23 cents per thousand views that

[09:28] I post. And if I actually look at my

[09:30] audience and look at where everyone is

[09:31] from, you can see this actually aligns

[09:33] pretty exactly with what I'm saying

[09:35] because most people are from the United

[09:36] States. But then I also do have a

[09:38] significant portion from India and the

[09:40] Philippines, which is probably bringing

[09:41] my RPM down. It's always a bit of a

[09:43] balance though because you can hit more

[09:45] people if your videos aren't targeted to

[09:47] any specific language, but you earn less

[09:49] per thousand views if they aren't

[09:51] targeted to people who speak English or

[09:53] are from like the United States. So

[09:54] yeah, that's how YouTube Shorts works

[09:56] and how to maximize your earnings from

[09:58] that. And also understand that how much

[09:59] money you make per thousand views also

[10:01] just depends on how much advertisers are

[10:03] spending in total. So, since advertisers

[10:05] are usually spending more in quarter 4

[10:07] than they are in quarter 1, you actually

[10:09] will probably make more money from the

[10:10] YouTube shorts that you post in quarter

[10:12] 4 than you will in quarter 1, just cuz

[10:14] advertisers are spending more money in

[10:15] those months. Anyways, that's YouTube

[10:17] shorts. Moving on to the next platform

[10:18] here, we have Tik Tok. And this can be

[10:20] an absolutely secret killer cuz it's

[10:22] been making me a ton of money in the

[10:23] last couple of months. Now, Tik Tok has

[10:25] slightly weirder rules and their payouts

[10:27] are definitely less consistent and less

[10:29] logical than YouTube's. But if you take

[10:31] advantage of it properly, its ultimate

[10:33] earning potential is actually way higher

[10:35] than YouTube. Now, just to show you guys

[10:36] with my actual channel. Again, I always

[10:38] like to have proof of what I'm actually

[10:40] talking about. This is my Tik Tok

[10:41] account right here with 295,000

[10:43] followers. And you can see I have

[10:45] multiple videos that have hundreds of

[10:46] thousands and some even have millions of

[10:48] views. Especially if I sort by popular.

[10:50] Right here we can see some with 12

[10:52] million 12 million4 million views. And

[10:54] if I go to analytics in just the past 60

[10:56] days, I've made 4,380.

[11:00] Now what's great is Tik Tok's

[11:01] requirements are actually some of the

[11:03] easiest. You just need to have 10,000

[11:05] followers, which that's probably the

[11:06] hardest thing. 100,000 valid views in

[11:09] the past 30 days. That's extremely easy.

[11:11] If you just post like a couple times a

[11:14] day, you will hit this no matter what.

[11:16] Like even if every video you post gets a

[11:18] thousand views, you could just post a

[11:20] hundred times in a month, which is

[11:21] roughly like three posts per day and

[11:23] you'll still easily hit that. And then

[11:24] the pretty weird part is that your

[11:26] videos must be at least 1 minute long.

[11:28] Now once you hit those requirements

[11:30] though, you can make around 10 cents to

[11:32] $1 per thousand qualified views. And a

[11:35] qualified view is just a viewer that

[11:37] comes from the for you page is a unique

[11:40] person. So a rewatch doesn't count. And

[11:42] the viewer must watch at least 5 seconds

[11:44] of the video for them to count as a

[11:45] view. But this 10 cents to $1 is

[11:48] actually insane because getting a dollar

[11:50] per thousand views means you're really

[11:52] really close to just making how much

[11:54] money you could make from a YouTube long

[11:55] form video. But it's way easier to get

[11:58] views on Tik Tok than it is from

[12:00] YouTube. And getting access to these

[12:01] higher RPMs is a little bit random, but

[12:03] I'll walk you through on my phone right

[12:04] now my understanding of how you can

[12:06] actually increase your RPM the best. And

[12:08] it all has to do with something called

[12:09] additional rewards. Now, you can see

[12:11] here this is $3,400.

[12:14] This is how much money I made in the

[12:15] month of October. And if I click on view

[12:17] performance, and you can see it shows

[12:19] two different revenue amounts. It shows

[12:21] one here called standard reward, which

[12:23] is $1,600,

[12:24] and then one here called additional

[12:26] reward, which is $1,800.

[12:29] So, I earned basically double what I

[12:31] should have made from the Tik Tok

[12:33] additional reward program. And you can

[12:35] see here, I can view the exact earnings

[12:36] from each of these separately up here.

[12:38] But basically, it says here that

[12:40] additional reward is an extra payout for

[12:42] well-crafted 1 minute plus videos posted

[12:44] by creators with specialized content and

[12:47] is calculated based on video engagement.

[12:49] And unfortunately, Tik Tok isn't always

[12:51] specific. Like, it is a little bit

[12:52] random how much money I make. Like, if I

[12:54] look under no additional reward and I

[12:56] scroll, you can see some of the videos

[12:57] that were recorded the normal way still

[13:00] said they didn't deserve an additional

[13:02] reward. But a lot of the videos still do

[13:04] say additional reward. And often it

[13:06] comes from when a video has high search

[13:08] value or high watch time. I mean, these

[13:10] are things that you should be trying to

[13:11] do anyways with your videos. But my

[13:14] understanding is that if you just make

[13:15] videos that probably include a face in

[13:18] it and are actually like trying to be

[13:19] good videos that are educational and

[13:21] helpful, you'll be much more likely to

[13:23] actually unlock a reward like this. And

[13:26] it seems like their algorithm or their

[13:27] AI that is categorizing which ones

[13:29] deserve additional rewards and which

[13:31] ones don't is sometimes a little bit

[13:33] misaligned and isn't done perfectly,

[13:34] which is why the sorting is sometimes

[13:36] wrong. But it does seem like the videos

[13:38] that are a little bit more legitimate

[13:39] tend to do better when it comes to

[13:41] additional rewards. And that's where you

[13:43] can really make a ton of money. Again,

[13:44] if I actually look at this month, which

[13:46] is December, $500 was from standard

[13:48] reward, but $1,500 was from additional

[13:52] reward. And if I actually look, this is

[13:54] from 1.4 4 million views. So that means

[13:57] this month I made $2,000 off of 1.4

[14:00] million qualified views, which is

[14:02] absolutely absurd. That means I'm making

[14:04] over a dollar per thousand views on the

[14:06] videos that I'm uploading on Tik Tok.

[14:07] And this is just really, really good

[14:09] payment per,000 views. So yeah, that's

[14:11] how Tik Tok's monetization program

[14:13] works. Once you get monetized, you can

[14:14] really make a lot of money from it. And

[14:16] so I'm a big fan of Tik Tok. And so even

[14:18] though I'm a big fan of YouTube shorts

[14:20] because it's very consistent pay and

[14:22] it's basically the same and there's no

[14:24] guesswork involved and they stay earning

[14:26] a little bit longer after you actually

[14:28] post them, Tik Tok actually has a much

[14:30] higher ceiling and it's all thanks to

[14:31] additional rewards. So if you can unlock

[14:33] that properly, you can make a lot of

[14:35] money from that as well. Now, the next

[14:36] platform that I'm going to show you guys

[14:37] monetization on is Instagram. But if

[14:39] you're thinking for a second like this

[14:40] is great, but how am I supposed to post

[14:42] all of these videos on every single

[14:44] platform and remember the monetization

[14:46] rules for everything? Well, luckily

[14:48] there's tools out there that actually

[14:50] help you with this. And one of them that

[14:51] I've been using for the past 3 years at

[14:53] this point is called Repurpose.io. And

[14:56] actually, this is the shirt that I'm

[14:57] wearing. I literally used this software

[14:59] for so long until I actually ended up

[15:01] meeting the founders and now I actually

[15:03] work with them. So, I'm actually also

[15:05] focused on making Repurpose the best

[15:07] platform ever. But basically, what it

[15:09] does for you guys is I'll leave the link

[15:10] to it in the description. You can create

[15:12] an account and also unlock the whole

[15:14] social media cheat sheet guide while

[15:16] you're at it. But all you have to do is

[15:17] start for free. It's completely free to

[15:19] start. You can just create an account

[15:21] with Google. And then it lets you set up

[15:22] automations between different platforms.

[15:25] So for example, the way that I use

[15:27] Repurpose is I use my Instagram account

[15:29] as my main social media platform. And

[15:31] then I have the videos that I post on

[15:32] Instagram automatically get reposted to

[15:35] every single other social media

[15:36] platform. So all of my Instagram videos

[15:38] get auto reposted to Tik Tok, YouTube,

[15:40] Snapchat, Pinterest, and X. And also

[15:43] since I'm uploading within the Instagram

[15:44] app, they can autoreost to threads and

[15:47] to Facebook. But yeah, when you see my

[15:48] actual earnings with like YouTube and

[15:50] with Tik Tok, this is all with the

[15:52] thanks of repurpose because this way I

[15:54] didn't have to manually post to every

[15:56] platform, which saved me so much time

[15:57] and made me so much extra money. So when

[15:59] it actually comes to monetization on

[16:01] Instagram, there is technically a way to

[16:03] make money through it, but it's very,

[16:04] very rare. I'll show you on my phone

[16:06] since I got really lucky and I'm one of

[16:08] the few people that has access to this.

[16:10] But basically, their monetization is

[16:12] 100% invite only. So, if you just post a

[16:14] lot of videos and you have followers and

[16:16] Instagram thinks you're legit, they will

[16:18] just randomly invite you. And you might

[16:20] not even get a notification. You

[16:21] actually have to go into your account,

[16:24] click on professional dashboard, and

[16:25] then scroll down until you see

[16:27] monetization. And under monetization, if

[16:29] it applies to you, you will get

[16:30] something called bonuses. I already got

[16:32] it. So, if I scroll up right here,

[16:34] bonuses is right here. And you can see

[16:36] right now they're only rewarding for

[16:38] photo and carousel posts, which is kind

[16:40] of weird cuz I never post photos or

[16:42] carousels, so I don't really know

[16:44] exactly the best way to deal with that.

[16:46] But if I look at my previous bonuses,

[16:48] and scroll down, they actually used to

[16:49] pay you for reels, which I actually did

[16:52] make a good amount of money from at one

[16:53] point. Like 1.8K here or $1.4,000 here.

[16:57] I mean, it used to be really good. Now

[16:58] it doesn't pay for views on reels at

[17:00] all. So, it's not really like I'm making

[17:02] any money from this, but based on my

[17:03] calculations, it seemed to only pay

[17:05] around 5 cents per thousand views

[17:07] anyways. And yeah, I don't know of any

[17:08] specific way to increase your RPM. So,

[17:10] that's how it seems to work. But since

[17:12] Instagram is so unstructured, I wanted

[17:14] to move to another platform that

[17:16] actually can make you money and is not

[17:17] just random. And it's actually Snapchat.

[17:20] And most people don't know about this,

[17:21] but you can actually make some pretty

[17:23] good money from Snapchat. And yes, once

[17:25] again, to show proof, I actually am

[17:27] making money from this. I have 350,000

[17:30] followers on my Snapchat account. You

[17:32] can see here it's called Fly Juggler.

[17:33] Pretty obvious. And it is a little bit

[17:35] complicated to understand. So, I suggest

[17:37] you actually watch my entire video guide

[17:39] on it. You can find it in this cheat

[17:40] sheet. But basically, you have to apply

[17:42] and get a Snap Star, which the full

[17:44] guide to is in the sheet right here. But

[17:46] once you do and you have 50,000

[17:48] followers as a minimum, you can actually

[17:50] get the Snap Star and start making money

[17:52] from what you post. Now, once you start

[17:54] posting, how much money you make depends

[17:55] what you post on and how much your

[17:57] actual watch time is. If you post on

[17:59] Snapchat stories, you can probably make

[18:01] around 5 cents to 25 cents per thousand

[18:03] views. And if you post to spotlights, it

[18:06] seems to suck a lot more. You probably

[18:07] make around 1 or 2 cents per thousand

[18:09] views on Snapchat spotlights, at least

[18:11] in my experience. Just to actually show

[18:13] you guys this, I'll show you actual

[18:15] earnings for me. So, if I go to my

[18:16] Snapchat crystals, you can see I've

[18:18] earned 23,000 Snapchat crystals. And

[18:21] each crystal is basically worth 10

[18:23] cents. So that's $2,300

[18:25] basically. And each day I get rewarded

[18:28] for what I post. So you could see on

[18:29] December 26th, I got $119 crystals for

[18:32] spotlight submissions. And then I got

[18:34] 1,567

[18:36] crystals for what ran on my Snapchat

[18:38] stories. And just so you know, my

[18:40] calculation on my RPMs are actually

[18:42] based on going through this and then

[18:43] looking at how many views I was actually

[18:45] getting on my Snapchat stories on the

[18:47] days when I got rewarded as well as how

[18:48] many views I was getting on Snapchat

[18:50] spotlights. You may not know the

[18:51] difference between those two things yet.

[18:52] So again, if you don't, you should

[18:54] probably watch my full guide on it for

[18:55] the explanation. But just understand

[18:57] that you should at least be using

[18:59] Repurpose to autopost your videos to

[19:01] Snapchat. Because if you do, you at one

[19:03] point or another will be able to get

[19:05] monetized on Snapchat and then be able

[19:06] to make money from the videos that you

[19:08] post. So, if you can make extra money

[19:09] from the videos you're already posting,

[19:11] why would you not do that? I just use

[19:12] Repurpose to actually just autopost all

[19:14] my stuff to Snapchat spotlights, but my

[19:16] main monetization method is through

[19:18] Snapchat stories. But now, moving on to

[19:20] the last short form platform that

[19:21] actually has monetization built into it,

[19:24] and that's actually Facebook. A lot of

[19:26] you guys don't know about this, but

[19:27] Facebook can actually make you money

[19:28] from just the views that you get. Now,

[19:30] let's talk about the requirements. So

[19:32] firstly, you need to have a public page

[19:34] on Facebook as well as you probably need

[19:36] to have at least 10,000 followers before

[19:38] applying. And then once you have it, all

[19:40] you actually have to do is apply. Now,

[19:42] just because you apply, that doesn't

[19:43] mean you'll get in. And I just want to

[19:44] show you what it actually looks like to

[19:46] apply because I have 89,000 followers on

[19:49] my Facebook. If I look at my reels tab,

[19:51] so the way that you can find this is if

[19:53] you go to your professional dashboard,

[19:55] you click under monetization right here,

[19:56] and then you scroll down, you should see

[19:58] something called content monetization.

[20:00] If you click on this, it'll then give

[20:02] you the opportunity to apply to the

[20:04] content monetization program on

[20:05] Facebook, which I already applied to and

[20:07] I'm on the wait list. I've not been

[20:09] accepted yet. And when I called Facebook

[20:11] support, they literally just told us

[20:13] it's random and you'll get in when you

[20:15] get in. And it's like that's a pretty

[20:16] unsatisfactory answer, but sure. So,

[20:19] luckily though, I do know other people

[20:21] who are monetized on Facebook and my

[20:23] understanding is they make around 10

[20:25] cents to around $1 per thousand views.

[20:27] And it's a little bit weird cuz you can

[20:29] monetize across a couple different

[20:30] mediums. So like you can get monetized

[20:32] for the photos that you post on Facebook

[20:34] or also the reals that you post on

[20:36] Facebook. And you can even run instream

[20:39] ads apparently on videos that are over

[20:41] 90 seconds. So I don't have all the

[20:43] details for that right now. But this is

[20:45] based on talking to people who I know

[20:46] actually are monetized on Facebook, what

[20:48] I've seen from them. So again, if you're

[20:50] not already posting on Facebook, you

[20:52] should. And if you don't want to do it

[20:54] manually, you can just set up a workflow

[20:56] on repurpose. post to your main platform

[20:57] manually and just get everything on

[20:59] every other platform for free. So yeah,

[21:01] just to round this video off though, I

[21:02] want to go through a couple bonus ways

[21:04] to monetize since it's just extra money

[21:06] if you take advantage of these. The

[21:08] first I've already mentioned in this

[21:09] video is use Repurpose to autopost your

[21:12] videos across every social media

[21:14] platform. This means you can make money

[21:15] per thousand views on every single one

[21:17] of those platforms. But on top of that,

[21:18] if you ever come out with your own

[21:20] products or services, building your

[21:22] personal brand across every single

[21:23] platform is going to make the most

[21:24] difference. Number two, this one is

[21:26] currently unavailable, but I made a ton

[21:28] of extra money using this, and it was

[21:29] something called Blastoff Music,

[21:31] otherwise known as music royalties. And

[21:33] basically, it allowed you to earn extra

[21:34] money by just putting background songs

[21:36] on the videos that you already post. So,

[21:38] this is currently down, but I think it

[21:40] will be back up eventually. I'm not

[21:42] sure. And I think when it's back up,

[21:43] it'll have campaigns across every social

[21:45] media platform. So, when that's back up,

[21:47] I'll be making videos about it and

[21:49] showing you how much money I can

[21:50] actually make with it. And I'll also

[21:51] update this doc as well. So, make sure

[21:53] to subscribe so you don't miss videos

[21:54] like that. And then for number three,

[21:56] this is for people with big YouTube

[21:58] channels. There's a company that I work

[21:59] with called Linguana and they basically

[22:01] help you earn extra money by taking your

[22:03] videos, re-uploading them in an

[22:05] alternate language for you. You do none

[22:07] of the work and then they give you 50%

[22:08] of the revenue. So, if you look at this

[22:10] very channel, you can see I've been

[22:12] uploading all my videos in Spanish. I

[22:14] think this is Portuguese and also

[22:16] German. And they're all the same types

[22:18] of videos that I post here, just

[22:19] completely translated. So, that's made

[22:21] things really, really easy for me. And

[22:22] yeah, you guys can do that as well to

[22:24] make extra money from what you're

[22:25] already uploading. Last, coming soon,

[22:27] there are some other platforms that I

[22:28] haven't touched on here, like X or

[22:30] Twitter Twitch Rumble Kick Spotify

[22:33] and MSN. We will be updating this doc as

[22:35] time goes on once we gather all the info

[22:37] we need to show the monetization

[22:39] guidelines on every single one of these.

[22:40] So, just understand that will be coming

[22:42] soon. And yeah, that basically wraps up

[22:43] how much every single platform pays you

[22:45] per thousand views on social media. This

[22:47] has been an extensive video undergoing

[22:49] everything, showing the requirements you

[22:50] need to hit to get monetized and then

[22:52] how much money you can actually make per

[22:53] thousand views and then how you can even

[22:55] improve that with some bonus ways to

[22:56] monetize like using repurpose to get

[22:58] your videos out on every single platform

[23:00] at once. That's my extensive list. So, I

[23:02] hope that makes sense. As always, thank

[23:04] you guys all so much for watching the

[23:05] video. If you want to join our Discord

[23:07] community with over 23,000 members, all

[23:09] dedicated to making money online, that

[23:11] will be in the description. And once

[23:12] again, thank you so much for watching.

[23:13] I'll catch you in the next video. Go in

[23:14] and peace.
