How to Become a Kick Affiliate: Step-by-Step Guide

[00:01] you're doing well now today's video is a howto video that I'm really excited to do because it means we've hit another amazing content creator Milestone one which I couldn't do without you guys supporting me along the way and that is

[00:14] getting Affiliated on Kick but anyway this video is all about the how-to of jump into it I want to let you know that I'm not sponsored by any streaming literally me doing it off of my own Steam and hopefully it will help you

[00:27] what's required and um yeah and you'll be able to process of actually getting monetized on kick if that's something you're looking for yeah without further Ado Let's uh head on into my kick Creator dashboard

[00:41] head on into my kick Creator dashboard here we go so we are now on the kick homepage the first thing I'm going to want to do

[00:53] is go to my profile go to my channel as you can see there there is my my kick Channel I've just finished streaming literally in the last 5 10 minutes um do this so as you can see it says I'm offline it shows me how many followers

[01:07] I've got by the way if you do like this video please drop me a follow it means a and support it as well also it'd be great to see you in chat as well whether streaming platform from here I'm going to click my little picture up here in

[01:21] the top right hand corner and um and go into my Creator dashboard and here you can see your dashboard with your various in bits of information about your stream in bits of information about your stream and where we want to go is

[01:33] achievement now here it has very similar to Twitch your path to affiliate and we've just completed the path to affiliate which is incredible considering I've been working on this quite hard for the last couple of weeks

[01:45] everyone that's gotten me here so as you can see here to become an affiliate with kick you need 75 followers and to have streamed for a total of 5 hours so if that it will happen for you like you can see here I at 77 out of 75 followers and

[02:02] I've streamed for 11.2 hours out of the 5 hours required so we should be good um I'm sure that there is an option for kick to say no I this point I don't think that's going to happen hopefully so let's uh let's find

[02:16] here where it says go to revenue page which also is the same as clicking this show you the achievements page as well so you can track your progress but here obviously I'm not affiliated yet so please make sure you complete the setup

[02:31] of your stripe connect account including accepting the terms of service to ensure you receive your funds so we're going to go and click complete stripe connect go and click complete stripe connect setup select your

[02:46] in here also once you put an email address they also ask you for your phone number I'm going to wait to get a verification notification on my phone and it has literally taken that

[02:59] phone and it has literally taken that long which which is a couple of our personal details so I'm not going to show this to you but you know what your added all my address and personal details it's now going to talk about the

[03:14] now I'm going to put these details into here as well so here it's asking me to review my details um It also says here missing W8 and W9 certificate says update now I've just completed that it looks as though it's going to go ahead

[03:30] so I'm now going to agree and submit to that it says their account onboarded and now we have been given the options here to see our Revenue stream

[03:42] from kick which is incredible and I'm super happy I think that does now mean I'm a kick affiliate so happy days I've just gone back to my main page and it says all about gifting subs and stuff like that so it looks like we did it

[03:55] guys so here on this page we can see that we've got subscription information start subscribing to the channel which is great let's have a look at community so we've got Channel emote which is great we've got sub badges as

[04:10] that you will need to make sure that your emotes are the size of 36x 36 your emotes are the size of 36x 36 pixels uh and a Max file size of 977 bit of resizing when it comes to doing that for those of you that do subscribe

[04:24] to my channel you know that we have the team lamur donut Club so as well as the regular Community member you also get the option to give subscriber only that looks about all you can really do from here from a content creator point

[04:38] of view um when you get Affiliated um unless there's something else that please drop a message in the comments also when you go to the main page of your channel now you can see it says gift a sub so the subscription side of

[04:51] things is definitely enabled here that was a brief overview of how to get Affiliated on kit although it didn't show my exact Journey on how to get Affiliated on kick it took me several streams to get there so don't worry if

[05:04] you don't get 75 followers straight off the bat cuz it is a hard grind that first 100 when I was on Twitch was really difficult but if you do make it then great and I wish you all the best of luck if you're grinding towards
