How to Find Altcoins Before They Pump
49sReveals a simple step-by-step method to discover where any altcoin is traded, appealing to crypto investors looking for early opportunities.
▶ Play ClipThis video provides a step-by-step guide on how to buy altcoins that are not easily accessible on major exchanges, focusing on using decentralized exchanges and non-KYC platforms to bypass geographical restrictions.
Go to CoinGecko, select any altcoin (e.g., Monero), then click on 'Markets' to see all exchanges where the coin is traded.
Centralized exchanges may require permission and have limited options for US residents. Decentralized exchanges (DEXs) allow anyone to buy without restriction.
Monero is available on Kraken in the US. Outside the US, Binance and KuCoin offer many altcoins, but KuCoin now requires full KYC for US residents as of July 15th.
Uphold lists over 250 digital currencies, including XRP during the SEC lawsuit, making it a good option for hard-to-find altcoins in the US.
For coins only on DEXs (e.g., Flexcoin on Uniswap), create a MetaMask or Coinbase wallet, send Ethereum to it, and trade. Always use the link from CoinGecko to avoid scams.
For Polygon, use Quickswap; for Solana, use Phantom wallet and Orca; for Cardano, use Eternal or Nami wallet and SundaeSwap.
Pepe was first listed on Uniswap before major exchanges. Casper is not on DEXs and only on TradeOgre, a non-KYC exchange with risks.
TradeOgre requires only an email, but has no company info. Use small amounts and withdraw immediately; do not hold funds there.
By using CoinGecko's markets feature and decentralized exchanges, you can buy almost any altcoin regardless of your location, but always be cautious with non-KYC platforms.

04:39[00:02] altcoin before it gets listed on major exchanges because by that point you're probably too late step one we're gonna head over to either coin market cap or coin gecko I prefer the user experience of coin Gecko and then we're going to
[00:17] select any coin literally any altcoin I'll select Monero then we're gonna head over to markets and just like that it will show us where this token is being listed this is step one very simple now step two is figuring out whether it's a
[00:33] centralized exchange or a decentralized exchange if it's a centralized exchange you might need permission to use it especially if you live in the United States the options are very limited but if it's on a decentralized exchange you
[00:49] can buy it no one can stop you and even when we look at something like Monero which is not listed on many exchanges because it's a true privacy coin that governments hate even in the United States currently you can buy this coin
[01:03] on Kraken if you live outside of the United States and you have access to exchanges such as binance and kucoin you have access to many altcoins kucoin was one of my favorites but they have implemented full kyc as of July 15th for
[01:21] U.S residents so this is no longer an option so if you live in the U.S or other restricted territories you may have a harder time buying certain all coins but we're not going to let that stop us like I said in this video I'm
[01:37] going to show you basically where you can buy any altcoin and it doesn't matter where you live and another option for U.S residents that's not listed on coing gecko which I don't know the reason why is uphold they have over 250
[01:51] digital currencies and they even have xrp they were listing xrp during the entire lawsuit while every other Exchange in the United States elicited
[02:03] it so if you're looking for some altcoins in the US that are hard to get I would recommend checking out uphold as well and you might land on a coin where it's really only listed on decentralized exchanges for example I'm looking at
[02:16] flexcoin right now and we can trade it on uni swap so create a metamask wallet or a coinbase wallet and then you send ethereum to that wallet ethereum is easy to get basically anywhere you are and then you are in business and you are
[02:31] ready to trade Now when using a decentralized exchange I would recommend going through the link that's on coing gecko so if we were going to trade this coin and it's on uni swap I would select the link right here and it will bring me
[02:46] to the page the reason I select the link from coing gecko is to make sure that I'm on the right coin and I'm not getting scammed and if we went to buy a coin that's on polygons same thing we'll create our wallet and we'll start
[03:00] interacting with a decentralized exchange on polygon in this example quick swap I will select the link and it will bring me to this page and then I can start trading if you're wondering how I know all this information it's
[03:13] because over the years I've become really good at researching crypto and I made a free one hour crypto analyst guide for you to show you how I do it and I will leave a link for that down below and if you want to trade a coin
[03:26] that's on Solana you'll create something like a phantom wallet send Solana to that wallet and you're in business and then you can start trading on Solana decentralized exchanges such as Orca and if you want to trade a token on the
[03:41] cardano ecosystem create a wallet such as Eternal wallet or Nami wallet send Ada to the wallet and then you can start trading on cardano decentralized exchanges such as Sunday Swap and if we look at Pepe before it was listed on
[03:55] every major exchange where do you think it was listed first on a decentralized exchange so for those that got into Pepe really early they were trading this on uni Swap and another example I want to show you is Casper a lot of people were
[04:11] asking me about this coin and I'm not recommending it I'm not telling you to buy it or not buy it but I wanted to show you this coin because it's not listed on any decentralized exchanges and it's not listed on many centralized
[04:25] exchanges especially if you live in the United States so if we scroll down we United States so if we scroll down we see it's listed on trade ogre trade ogre is a true non-kyc exchange all they ask for is an
[04:39] email address but on the opposite end there's no information about this company either so you use them at your own risk trade ogre lists many coins that may be difficult to get in the United States this is a platform I have
[04:54] used in the past but I made sure to send smaller amounts in and make the trade and send it right out I would not hold funds on this exchange so if you're
[05:06] going to use something like trade ogre which is no kyc use it at your own risk as long as you know how to navigate the markets feature on coing Gecko and use a decentralized exchange you can get basically any coin and no one can stop
