Chapters
The video introduces the FOMO app, which allows users to track wallets, find coins, and get notifications when traders buy or sell. The goal is to show beginners how to set up an account, use notifications, find trades, and avoid common mistakes.
The creator shows how to download the FOMO app from the App Store, which is free. Users get a username that can be changed in settings. The app offers a 40% discount on trading fees via the provided link.
Depositing is simple: click the deposit button and choose from crypto, Apple Pay, or debit card. Withdrawals can be made to a bank account, crypto wallet, or finance apps like PayPal, Venmo, and Robinhood. No social security number or tax documents are required.
The app has a leaderboard showing top traders over 24 hours, 7 days, 30 days, or all time. The creator recommends scrolling through to find traders who are consistently profitable, like 'Vexrex' who was up $44,000 in a day and $84,000 in 30 days.
Once you find a profitable trader, you can turn on notifications to get alerts whenever they buy or sell a coin. This allows you to copy their trades in real-time.
The creator explains his thought process: he prefers entering trades at lower market caps (e.g., $50k-$70k) for potential 100% gains, rather than entering at higher caps like $260k where a 2x is harder. He also checks the 'thesis' section for each trade to understand the reasoning behind it.
The creator stresses that beginners often fail by going all-in without risk management. He advises starting small, surviving for 2-3 weeks without blowing up a $100 account, and taking small wins and losses. He also warns against forcing trades and recommends being selective with notifications.
The creator reiterates that the goal is to manage risk, follow good traders, and make smart decisions. He encourages viewers to take their time, learn the platform, and not force trades. He provides a link for a discount on trading fees and asks for comments and subscribes.
The video provides a practical guide to using the FOMO app for copy trading, emphasizing the importance of risk management and selective trade selection. The key takeaway is that success in crypto trading comes from surviving and learning, not from chasing every trade.

[00:00] I've had a ton of people ask me how I'm able to find coins, track wallets, and get notifications when traders buy and sell. So in this video, I'm going to show you how to use the app that I use, FOMO, step-by-step as a complete beginner.
[00:12] By the end of this video, you'll know how to set up your account, follow traders, how to get notifications, how I personally find trades, common mistakes to avoid, and also a few other things that I think can help you guys. But with that being said, let's get right into it.
[00:25] So I'm going to go ahead and pop a screen recording of my phone up right here, what you guys would see. So when you first download the app, let's say you go through the app store, and if you go through the link in the description, you're going to get 40% off of trading fees. Full transparency will also help me, but it's also going to give you a percentage off trading fees if you don't decide to do it.
[00:40] It is what it is. That is an option for you, but if you're on the app store, go ahead and look up FOMO. Completely free to download. I already have it downloaded, but it's the one right here with 1.4K, pretty much five-star reviews. I'm going to go ahead and click open or download.
[00:53] So this is the account that I went ahead and set up as a complete beginner. So that way, whenever you guys download, you're going to get this right here. They're going to give you a username to use. You're going to be able to change that if you go to settings, go to account.
[01:05] You're going to be able to change the username, your display name, and also a description. Okay, so first we're going to get into deposits and withdrawals. So when you deposit onto the app, it's super easy to do. All you want to do is click the big button that says deposit if you've never deposited before.
[01:19] You can deposit with crypto, Apple Pay, or you can use your debit card. Let's say you wanted to use Apple Pay. All you got to do is click onto that. So you're going to get a list of these tokens. And this is where people get confused because they're not trying to buy a token with Apple Pay.
[01:33] They're just trying to get into their account. But this is all you have to do. So we'll just go to random token, Melaina. So we're going to type in $5. We're not buying this with Apple Pay. Hold on, let me do this real quick. Okay, and after that goes through, you're going to have Melaina in your account.
[01:46] And then all you want to do is go to sell, click max, and you're going to be able to sell all of that. Now you have money in your cash balance that you going to be able to place trades with and let say I wanted to withdraw money to my bank account All I gonna do is click these these buttons right here we going to go to withdraw and you going to be able to withdraw to your bank account crypto wallet or finance apps paypal venmo robinhood and you do
[02:06] not have to put in any type of social security number tax documents you don't have to put in any of that super simple to deposit and withdraw but let's get right into how to use the app and how to make your first trade all right so when placing trades on the app all you want to do is
[02:20] goes here to these people options and you can go to past 24 hours past seven days past 30 days and all and all that's going to do is show you a leaderboard of the top traders on the platform
[02:32] in that time frame so if we want to find people that are cooking recently we're going to go to 24 hours and we're going to scroll through these until we find somebody that's printing so like top of the leaderboard we have um dextrex we have world um we'll go ahead and click on dextrex
[02:47] he's at the top. So this guy is up $44,000 in the past day. Let's go to seven days here. He's at $18,000. 30 days, he's up $84,000. So this guy, on all three time frames, he looks like he's
[02:59] printing. Let's go to some of his top trades, $176,000, $67,000. So this guy has made some money with the app. And if we go to recent trades, make sure he's still printing. So he's a $9,000
[03:12] win, a $23,000 loss. And these are just some of his trades that happened recently. So right here we have May 8th, May 6th, May 3rd. So all of those are recent trades. These are all of his open positions. And these are all of his closed positions, by the way. But this
[03:27] is somebody that we would probably follow and have notifications for. So all you want to do is click the follow button and then that notification button, and you're going to be able to turn on notifications. So anytime this guy buys, sells, or does anything with the coin, you're going to get a notification straight to your phone. And all you're going
[03:42] to do is repeat that process. So when I say that I'm doing trader research, I'm going through this leaderboard on each time frame and finding people that are consistently printing Like right here we have me My account past seven days I am number 12 on the leaderboard for FOMO So on the entire leaderboard for FOMO I am number 12 in the past seven days I was number
[04:04] three in the past 24 hours a few days ago, which is pretty cool. But yeah, so you're going to be able to copy trade all of these people and you're going to get a notification straight to your phone whenever they buy, sell, or do anything with a meme coin. And you're going to be able to copy
[04:18] trade them real time. Now let's get into my personal thought process on when I take a trade, when I copy a trade, and when I'm looking to follow somebody on their trade that they take. So let's say we are copying World, who just moved to the number one spot. Okay,
[04:33] so let's say he just entered Meowl Cat, whatever. Okay, so he entered this at a 259k market cap. That's already pretty high.
[04:45] So, like, if this were to go to a 500K, yeah, that's a pretty big move, but that's not even a 2X. That's a 1.9X on the position. And if it goes to a million, of course, you're making profits.
[04:57] But when I'm taking trades and I'm banging out these 2K, 2.5K on the M4 to SF90 series, which is pretty consistent, I'd like to say, all of those moves, 50k market cap, 60k market cap, 70k. And if it runs to 140, boom, secure my 2k profit. That's
[05:16] 100% gain, close to 100% gain. And then there's going to be a few that run to 400, 500k, but those are the big trades. So if you're entering a trade at a 260k market cap following, to have a 2x, you're going to have to hit a 500k. And that's a pretty decent ways away
[05:35] than going from 60k to 130k. So if you go to the thesis, you're able to see what people put onto their trades. So like world he has a thesis for this coin. I've come to the conclusion that the owl is real Okay you can go there sometimes they have x sometimes there narratives and yet I look into all of those Just recently rest in peace but the Henry situation I saw that I saw the thesis
[06:01] I saw just going like viral on the news. I caught that early. That was the biggest trade of the series. We made $15,000 because I saw the thesis. I saw the buy. I entered. Boom. Ripped.
[06:13] And that was the biggest trade of the series. And just remember, people get caught up because they take every single trade. They force. So just remember being able to see 10 notifications at once and only selecting two is going to give you much more of an edge than just taking all 10.
[06:27] And with that being said, a lot of beginner mistakes and a lot of reasons and times that people fail with trading, crypto trading, meme coin trading, perp trading, sports betting, all of them can be profitable ROI assets.
[06:41] But a lot of the times people fail because they'll go all in and they don't have risk management. So the way that you strive, the way that you build, the way that you grow in this industry or any of the industries that I just named, go in small.
[06:54] Have a risk management. Your goal is to learn, survive. If you can survive two, three weeks without blowing up your $100 account, you're going to have a much more sustainable career in this industry than if you were to have a $100 account and put $50 on your first trade.
[07:11] That's a 50% risk on one trade. Not even one day, just one trade. And the people that can bank on these small wins, take these small losses, and over a month's span, think in months and years, are the people that survive in this industry.
[07:25] The real goal is to manage risk, follow good traders, and make smart decisions. Take your time, learn the platform, and don't force trades. And the app that I use to personally copy trade, I'm doing an M4 to SF90 series, is FOMO.
[07:38] In the description, there will be a link for a percentage off of trading fees. full transparency. It will help me, but it's also going to help you. And for all I care, just go to the App Store, search up FOMO, completely free to use. But if this video
[07:50] helped, make sure to like, comment, and subscribe. I'll see you guys for the next one.
