"Title promises one free strategy daily, but the tool is free only for 14 days and the video generates multiple strategies per run."

AI Summary

This video demonstrates how to use an AI tool called Strategy One to automatically generate profitable trading strategies and corresponding trading robots on a daily basis. The process involves creating a custom workflow that builds, backtests, and saves strategies for any chosen asset, all without manual intervention.

[00:01]
Problem with Manual Strategy Development

Many traders invest weeks or months developing a strategy without knowing if it works. The video promises a solution using AI.

[00:15]
AI Tool Generates Daily Strategies

The AI tool not only generates strategies but also provides a fully automated trading robot for each strategy.

[01:09]
Workflow Overview

The workflow consists of three steps: strategy creation, backtest filtering, and saving the best strategies as robots.

[03:13]
Introduction to Strategy One Custom Project

The tool's 'Custom Project' feature allows users to create a sequence of tasks (build, retest, save) for fully automated strategy generation.

[05:31]
Configuring Strategy Building

Settings include asset (e.g., GBP/JPY), direction (long/short), number of entry rules (1-3), mandatory stop loss based on ATR, and optional profit target.

[08:36]
Genetic Search and Filters

The tool uses genetic-style search to evolve strategies. Filters require minimum 200 trades, average trade duration >2 hours, and win rate ≥40%.

[10:48]
Realistic Market Simulation

Commissions, swaps, and trading hours are configured to mirror real broker conditions. Data from January 2019 to August 2025 is used.

[14:03]
Final Ranking Filters

Strategies must have a return/drawdown ratio of at least 4, win rate of 45%, and be among the top 200 per return per round.

[15:28]
Backtest Configuration

The retest step uses out-of-sample data from 2010-2018 and in-sample validation from Sep 2025 onward to assess recent performance.

[20:19]
Results: 8 Strategies from 200

Out of 200 generated strategies, only 8 passed all filters. One strategy showed excellent performance with low drawdown and positive recent returns.

[22:39]
Example Strategy Simplicity

A winning strategy used only one entry rule: a Wave Trend indicator condition placing a pending buy order on the Keltner Channel upper band.

[24:54]
Speed and Quality Adjustments

To increase strategy quality, increase the 'Return per Share' parameter; to speed up generation, lower it. The process can run continuously.

The video provides a practical, automated method to generate and backtest daily trading strategies using AI, with a focus on robust filtering to ensure quality. While the free trial of the tool offers a starting point, long-term use requires a paid license.

4 08:36 Set genetic search parameters: minimum 200 trades, average trade duration >2 candles, win rate ≥40%.
5 09:33 Set the data range: training from Jan 1, 2019 to Aug 31, 2025, with realistic commissions, swaps, and trading schedule.
6 12:22 Select order type (stop orders for pending breakout) and choose behaviors/indicators for strategy rules.
7 14:03 Set ranking filters: minimum 250 trades, average open trades ≥2, return/drawdown ratio ≥4, win rate ≥45%, keep top 200 strategies.
8 15:28 Configure Retest task: use out-of-sample data (2010-2018) and in-sample validation (Sep 2025 onward), apply similar filters with minimum return/drawdown of 2 for out-of-sample.
9 18:08 Set output: save strategies to a folder and source code for Metatrader 5 (or other platforms).
10 19:13 Run the project and monitor; after the process, review the saved strategies and deploy the robot on your trading platform.

Study Flashcards (7)

What is the minimum number of entry rules the video suggests to avoid over-optimization?

easy Click to reveal answer

1 to 3 entry rules.

06:40

Why is a stop loss based on ATR (Average True Range) considered dynamic?

medium Click to reveal answer

It adjusts to current volatility: wider stop loss when volatility is high and tighter when low.

07:18

What is the purpose of the 'genetic generation' search in Strategy One?

hard Click to reveal answer

It creates offspring strategies from parent strategies that pass predetermined filters, evolving better strategies over generations.

08:36

What is the required minimum return/drawdown ratio (RoD) in the ranking filters?

medium Click to reveal answer

At least 4 (the strategy must earn four times the maximum drawdown).

14:31

What does the 'in-sample validation' period represent in the retest configuration?

hard Click to reveal answer

The most recent 7-8 months (from September 2025 onward) used to assess how the strategy handles recent volatility.

16:09

How many strategies out of 200 passed all filters in the video example?

easy Click to reveal answer

8 strategies.

20:32

What is the recommended adjustment to increase strategy quality (at the cost of speed)?

medium Click to reveal answer

Increase the 'Return per Share' parameter in the ranking settings.

Simple Strategy with One Rule

Demonstrates that complex strategies aren't necessary; a single indicator condition can be profitable.

22:39

[00:01] trading with a single strategy and you invest weeks, hours, months, even years in it without knowing the results you might have years, because if you have certain guarantees, then you invest your time.

[00:15] Many people invest their time in something they do n't know how it works or if it actually works. Well, in this video I'm going to blow your mind because here you're going to learn how to generate a profitable trading strategy yourself

[00:28] . different each day for the asset you want. We're going to do this with an artificial intelligence tool that will not only generate that daily strategy for you to use, but will also generate it

[00:43] directly in an automated way; that is, it will give you the trading robot for each daily strategy you want to generate. And you'll be able to use that trading robot on your trading accounts, and it will trade automatically for you.

[00:56] minutes, pay close attention to everything I'm saying because I'll be dropping some tips or nuggets that will be very useful for you in trading, especially automated trading. And give it a big thumbs up by subscribing below

[01:09] on this channel and to help me keep making great content like started with the video. Before we get to the practical part, I want to go over a very simple diagram with you so that you understand the steps we are going to

[01:23] configure the artificial intelligence tool. We're going to design it as a workflow, and that workflow will be completely automated so that once we have it set up, it will work for us

[01:36] every day and provide us with those strategies daily. Okay, within that flow we're going to configure the strategy creation part . Here we will select the asset we want to work with, or even be able to do multi-asset in

[01:49] work with for each one, or the timeframe we want to generate those strategies for, as well as the type of operations: longs, shorts, exits, take profit, stop losses, etc. And once the creation is configured, we will

[02:04] do this: once the strategies are created, we won't keep all of them. We are going to perform certain tests again, that is, backtest, to retest those past strategies to

[02:18] see what they would have done and discard those that did not work correctly. This third step acts as a filter for the strategies we could potentially implement, but it's not guaranteed to

[02:32] remove those strategies that probably won't make money in the future, because there are strategies that may have made money in the past but won't continue to do so in the future. Therefore, this is the third step. It's an

[02:44] to actually work with those that will potentially make us money. And in this third step, it will already spit out our daily strategies. You'll see that there can be more than one per day, but that's why I've given it the title,

[02:59] for the assets that we 've configured. And then here we have another little arrow, because if you want, you can continue the process by automating it so that for the next day, or if it has already generated it for us at

[03:13] midday or in the afternoon, it continues working so that in the next few hours it continues generating new strategies for us. So, knowing this simple flow, now let's to the practical case. This here is the Strategy One tool, which I will

[03:26] links for you to download a free 14-day license. And what we're going to use is the functionality they call custom project. Custom Project allows us to create a sequence of tasks, like the ones I

[03:40] showed you in the theoretical diagram, so that it creates or retests the strategies and saves them to our folders with the robot ready to connect. In Metatrader 5 platform, but

[03:53] you can also do it on other platforms that you'll see in a few minutes. Okay, what we're going to do is use these builder and retest modules, but going to... well, I've already set them up in our diagram. Okay,

[04:08] projects. Look, I'm going to go back. I have several diagrams on this computer of my own strategies, but this particular one I've created a project for creating one strategy a day, although you'll see that it will be more than one

[04:23] strategy a day, okay? I click here above and you can see that I have six shown you before. Obviously, I showed it to you a little bit grouped together before. Note that the first task I've given him is to build strategies, the second is to

[04:37] retest those strategies, then he's going to save those strategies for me. Those are the three points we looked at earlier, right? But then I'm also going to save the strategies in robot format, which is also of interest to you. And then,

[04:49] also of interest to you. And then, finally, there are two tasks simply to clear the tool's memory so that a new generation can begin. And the last task is basically to go back up, okay? And this

[05:04] automatically, well, it's creating strategies all day, all day, all day [music] and I repeat, you'll see that it will create more than one strategy a day, strategy I told you about before. I'm going to explain how I've set up each

[05:18] as I promised at the beginning of the video, can do it at home. Okay, I've already selected the first one: building strategies. Okay, from now on we'll focus on this bar to the right; that's what concerns us.

[05:31] settings because that's what you're really interested in. Okay, I'm going to go tab by fast because I also explain this in other videos or in for free, which you can find the link to

[05:46] okay? I'm going to release a completely new miniseries on how I'm tool. You'll see some of my points of view and you'll also see in more detail all the step-by-step process that I truly follow

[06:02] professionally to make a living from trading with these types of robots. Okay? But let's focus on this case. I'm going to build a simple strategy and I'm only going to build long-term strategies. Okay, I'll tell you now that I'm going to

[06:15] build strategies in this case for the Libra yen asset, which is a forex pair of the pound against the yen. I'm just going to work, I just want to look for long-term strategies. You can short sell if you want, on any

[06:27] Number of entry conditions. This is very important when we talk about automated strategies, uh, we're talking about objective things that we can decide on. In other words, an entry rule

[06:40] could be that the price crosses the 200-period moving average. This is an entry rule, it is a condition, it is an entry signal. Well, here I've set it to generate strategies that have up to one to

[06:52] three entry rules. No more than three, because for me that's over-optimizing. Even I often work with one or two, but okay, let's put it at three. You copy everything else. Ah, stoploss. Stoplos, which

[07:05] tab, but so you can see it beforehand, I'm going to mark it as mandatory; stoplos is required, it is mandatory. I always use a stop loss, and a stop loss based on ATR. The ATR is an indicator that measures the

[07:18] current volatility of that specific asset. Therefore, if at that moment, during that day or in the last few days the asset is more volatile, it will allow you to place more stop losses than when it is more settled, when it will place fewer stop losses. In other words,

[07:31] that stop loss is dynamic and it's very interesting for better aligning our entries, our RRs, especially if we're going above one, okay? Ah, stop loss of an ATR of a multiple multiplier of one to three and a period

[07:44] of the ATR of the volatility measurement of at least the last 20 candles up to at most the last 200 candles. That is, roughly if every 20, if I work with a temporary schedule of one hour, we are

[07:58] talking about approximately one day and 20 days . OK? Profit target. I'm not going to make profit target mandatory because we can

[08:10] show you other ways to profit from trades, but at least if you're looking for strategies, because we'll leave this to the tool you're looking for. I'm not going to look for anything. If we look for strategies with TP,

[08:23] at least one based on ATR as well, if there is much more volatility we will stretch interests us. Okay, these are more general settings. Let's go into a little more detail and I'm going to talk about the type of

[08:36] going to tell this artificial intelligence tool to do a artificial intelligence tool to do a genetic-style search for us. Okay, it of strategies that pass us through some predetermined filters, which are the ones I

[08:49] put here in this little box, and with those it's going to make offspring with characteristics that make offspring. That's called genetic generation. Okay? I'm not going to explain all these parameters to you, just keep these filters in mind

[09:04] because I require it to have at least a trade history of 200 operations. You'll see that they'll be about 8 years old. Uh, at the very least, my average trades should last two candles open, not just open and close on the same candle, and the

[09:19] winning percentage should be at least 40%. Well, I like working with those ratios. Now we're going to talk about something you'll already know more about. Here, notice that the symbol I have selected is pound yen. There are many symbols besides the pound

[09:33] yen. I have it selected, let's see if it's selected correctly here. Libraen GPJPI and you should know that the symbols, I'm not going to explain it in in other videos on my channel, we configure them in the Data

[09:48] the symbols for free from the you want, okay? And in this case I have GPJPI and I have it set to create strategies for me, but only looking at the data from January 1,

[10:05] from January 1, 2019 to August 31, 2025. That is , we are talking about 4, 5 and a half, 6 and a half years. In other words, I'm going to to generate the best strategies for Brian. At a time interval

[10:20] select the time frame you want. Sorry. That's why I'm telling you about the asset you want and the time frame you want. It's important to shorten the time, and you'll say, "But Ramón, this is crazy. Six six 6 years." Well,

[10:33] working with a strategy and you have no idea what its profitability was crazy, it seems to me to work with that. But hey, we work with data. Okay, notice that we simulated the real market well. Commissions.

[10:48] the real market well. Commissions. Commissions. These are the vast majority of CFD brokers. And swaps. In the long run they give you money, and in the Therefore, the swaps corresponding to the broker you are going to work with

[11:02] are more or less similar to each other. I'm stipulate a trading schedule, which is basically all day, except for the hours when CFD brokers stop . And here I'm going to select all

[11:15] the behaviors that I want this tool to take into account. In other words, I have selected all the indicators, all of them. For example, what can be considered a behavior? Well, the ADX changes the

[11:27] direction upwards. All these behaviors can be used to develop strategies. Remember that you will get one to three entry rules from here. Each line is an input rule. Simple. The tool will do this later

[11:40] okay? I also select almost all the indicators. I'll leave this here exactly which ones I've selected. And note, I'm going to work with stop orders, meaning that when the entries happen, I'm not going to open a trade.

[11:56] We're going to place a buy order higher up, pending higher up, and look for that impulse, that breakout, because I already know beforehand that assets like the pound and genen do very well with pending breakout orders, I

[12:09] already know that. Therefore, I work on it here. If you want to work market orders, or if you want to work market orders, you market". It's that simple, okay? So we're going to leave it at stop loss because

[12:22] stop goes stop because I know they work and therefore the third block is activated which is where you can place or where you let the tool choose where to place of the day, at the low of the day, at the high of the candle, in a

[12:37] the ones that I found interesting. So here they are for the video if you want to copy them. Output types. Note, we have a stop loss, change it because we've made it mandatory. And then, optionally, there's the

[12:53] profit exit, for example. For example, profit target is optional because I don't have the required option selected, but I do have to select it to be able to use it. I have selected to exit after XS by

[13:06] time, that is, for a certain time. Every 5 hours I exit the operation regardless of where I am. Note: This should always be combined with a stop-loss order. Stoploss is required either by applying a training stop with

[13:19] leave all of this to the tool to decide what type of output strategies it will generate for me. We'll skip the ATM, it's useless . Money management. I'm going to simulate that I have a capital of $100,000 and I'm

[13:35] going to assign a fixed risk per operation, not a percentage, a fixed risk, which is much better than a percentage, at least for creating strategies. I'll say I risk $1,000 per transaction, that is , 1%, but it will never be

[13:48] , you'll talk about it on your real accounts. Batches can open up to 0.01, so I set the batches to two decimal places, with a minimum of 0.01 and a maximum of 100. Okay, all of this is disabled. And finally, the ranking,

[14:03] ranking filters. Here I will definitely outline the strategies that we will ultimately use to continue working towards the second step. I tell him that during that time he should at least make 250 trades for me, which is

[14:17] a little more than I had set before, and that he should have at least two trades open for me on average, with each trade open for two hours. And now I do ask for a profitability filter. The drawdown match return is not

[14:31] really a return, it's what I gain for what I risk. That is, during all these 6 and a half years, I think it was 6 and a half years, right? Take the biggest fall you've ever had and multiply it by four. But

[14:44] I want that return, that is, to earn four times more than the maximum risk I have taken during that time. We work with ratios, and those ratios will give you stability in future results.

[14:56] Therefore, we always work with that ratio when considering profitability. I'll put risking. Then you'll see the results. And I've increased the winning percentage a little more, from 40 to 45. I've set it so that when you have 200

[15:11] strategies that meet these filters, you save them properly and order them by return per round, the 200 that have the best performance during this period. Okay, we have the first box. Okay. Okay, now it would be time to press the

[15:28] start button, I'm going to show you how I configured the second box. [music] The second box and now I've selected it, I'm going to full settings. The only thing we changed, the only thing, the only thing, the only thing is to do a very

[15:41] important test. And for that I'm going to look at the data. Note that the data now starts from the year 2010, well, up to this year 2026, well. But I've added some colors down here. Previously only

[15:55] the white part was enabled, now we 've added more years. Okay, we've got the strategy built. All I want to do here is not to manipulate it, but to see what I would have done during the years that are in green and in blue, that is

[16:09] , in green, which is from 2010 to the end of 2018 and in blue, which is from September 2025, that is, recently during the last 7 or 8 months. OK. I want to reserve those few months to see

[16:24] how this recent volatility has affected my accounts and decide whether to include it in my trading accounts or not. Okay, so when we've marked these areas in blue, which is insample validation, I go to ranging, everything

[16:39] else is exactly the same and here I've added more filters. Okay, notice that in the green label which is the OS is averagin tr I ask for the same thing I had in IS, except that in the

[16:52] that the green label at least has a split return rodon of two, not so demanding with meline sample because it is more recent, but at least two. Okay, same here. Auto sample of 40%, I'm not asking for a 45% winning

[17:06] percentage. And now we go to the penultimate filter. return, that is, penultimate filter. return, that is, profitability in the last 8 months. I ask that it at least be profitable and that at the very least I have earned the

[17:21] minimum amount of the maximum drop you have had during these last 8 months. That is , that you have at least earned me a RR of 1 to a global in these last 8 months or more, okay? Anything upwards.

[17:34] And then as a final filter, since I like the parody return so much, uh, I'll make sure

[17:52] is greater than 15 for all the years available, that is, from 2010 to 2026, the aggregate, the global return for all the years, okay? Therefore, we are already asking for a 15x multiplier recent years. It's insane. Okay, so, as for saving

[18:08] strategies, I've basically created some folders here. Let's see if I can show it to you here. Some folders, okay? I've created the folder, one strategy per day, and here I have a "strategies" folder and a "

[18:20] Metatrader 5 robots" folder. Basically, I click "save to files" in this box, which saves it to a file in this tool in case I want to retrieve it, okay? You can save this or not. And I have it saved in that strategy folder.

[18:33] And in the second step, I go all the way down and save the source code, which is the programming code for the Metatrader 5 platform. You can work with Metatrader 4, Trade Station, or JForex.

[18:46] folder, which contains the strategies and the Metatrader 5 robots. And here, basically, if I haven't told you before, the strategies I build will be saved in this place called the databank, okay? These are like little folders,

[19:00] like sacks I've created for retesting and creating, okay? Basically, I'm telling it to delete both of them because I've already saved them to disk, I don't need them in the tool, and then in go to task I tell it to go back

[19:13] to building strategies and start from scratch. OK? What I'm going to do now is press play on building strategies, but I want this process to stop right after the second

[19:26] task so I can show it to you, because this way we can see it properly. Therefore, I add a task here in the middle and set it to wait. to user. Okay, great. From here on, what this is going to do is do task one, task

[19:40] two, and task three; it will wait for me. OK? Now I'm going to press play and we'll monitor it because I have it configured to run quite fast. Then I'll explain how to do it so you can come up with better strategies and not have so many of them come up

[19:52] each day. Okay, let's see how the creation is already filling up. Look, this is working. The place up here is already filling up. Remember that we have set it here so that when it reaches 200, it goes

[20:05] set it here so that when it reaches 200, it goes to retesting. Look. 132, 145, 154. All of this is taking up each row. It's a different strategy. 200. We're going to retest. 3 cu. Only those

[20:19] who pass through will be saved here. Look, I've already received the notification. He told me, "Ramón, I've reached step three, I want to review the project. Look, out of 200 strategies,

[20:32] only eight meet the filters we saw at the end. Only eight of them. Let's see, the one with the largest Rodon split return is this one here. Look at this beauty, look. And I haven't paused the video or anything. I've already

[20:47] of minutes. I think the title, instead of saying one strategy per day, should have minute. The thing is, people wouldn't because they'd say, 'Hey, he's scamming me.' But look at it, look at this strategy. This

[21:02] strategy's biggest drop was in 2016, look here at the sample period. And look, look at the in-sample validation period, that is, the last 8 months it's performed very, very well, especially the end of 2025 and

[21:19] almost the beginning of 2026." 2026 is holding up there; notice it hasn't dropped much . This strategy is perfectly valid for your trading accounts. It's true that in my complete methodology, I run through

[21:32] quite a few more, and of those eight, maybe I'll only have two left during the day, not that many. And from there, I can even select the

[21:44] highest quality ones from among the good ones. By the way, if you're interested in my entire process, I'll below in the description, the first comment, to a mini-series I'll be register for free, okay? So you can learn about it. But getting back to the

[21:59] topic, here you can see hourly and daily statistics, which are the most profitable days, the most profitable years, the time of day, the duration of your trades, and so on, right? [music] And the list of all the

[22:11] one by one. You can even see an overview . Look, this strategy has had 1000 trades, 1095 trades [music], and the monthly profitability of each one. Notice that February was negative,

[22:23] but January was very, very positive, okay? And many more radio stations, time here. Really, this strategy, just so you can see a little bit, I'm not going to go into code, but just so you see , this strategy only uses one

[22:39] entry rule, just one, so you can see how simple it is. The Wave Trend indicator, well, with a certain parameter, is above 4.5. When this happens, it places a pending buy order. Remember, pending buy in

[22:53] the Kelner channel. You can look for this indicator online; it's the Kelner channel in the top bar. This is like a Bollinger Band; it places the order in the top bar. Okay. And from

[23:05] there, I think that when the price, level, it goes to enter a buy position. If not, it removes it and waits for another signal. It's very simple. They're very simple, and each of those strategies has a

[23:19] completely different entry point. What I'm going to do now is set a stop-loss order, I'm going to remove the wave for user [music], which is just to show you. And now I'm going to tell it to

[23:33] save the strategies, that is, to start from number three, run project from here, that is, start the project from this task, and you'll see how they are saved automatically. Look, strategies, all

[23:47] automatically. Look, strategies, all eight saved, and the Metatrader 5 robot Metatrader 5 code, which you don't even need to understand how it works, but you simply put this into Metatrader 5 and you can drag this

[24:01] robot onto the chart, or in this case, the Pound/Yen chart, and you can replicate it. Look, it's already building strategies for me again; it has removed the ones I had before, the creation ones. I 've reached 200 again. I retest to

[24:15] see how many it gets. It goes back to eight, and then it saves eight more strategies, and now I have 16 elements, 16 robots generated in a matter of minutes.
