How to Win a Slot Jackpot: Step-by-Step Guide & Results — Full Breakdown & Transcript

[01:11] going to demonstrate, and I'm going to give a lot of tips throughout this video, too. Okay, guys, let's dive into it. So step one is going to be your bankroll and picking your machine. Now, a couple things about this one. The

[01:24] thing is is obviously money has changed a lot over recent years. It's not worth as much and game makers have adapted to that. Casinos have adapted to that. So, whatever bankroll you're working with, just know that the smaller bankroll is

[01:37] going to be a lot more difficult to work with in today's modern casino. So, step one is going to be follow the 1% rule. In this step, what you're going to do is make sure that your bet does not exceed 1% of whatever bankroll you're working

[01:52] with. So, our bankroll today, our starting budget is $500. We're going to try to keep our bet at $5. You're going to do that in this step, but in future steps, you're going to go outside of this rule. The 1% rule is good for

[02:06] bankroll building. You don't always have to use it when you're playing slots, but if you're trying to build up from a smaller bankroll, using the 1% rule is smaller bankroll, using the 1% rule is very helpful. So, step one is using 1%

[02:19] of your bankroll. So, with that in mind, let's get started and let's play. All with step one. Now, we have our $500 bankroll right here [music] in the corner. And again, like I mentioned in the intro, you can start with whatever

[02:32] comfortable with, whether it's more than 500 or less than 500. You can uh start with whatever bankroll that you want. Um now we are at a machine that is um usually found at the bar tops. Uh

[02:47] got your kino, and you've got slots. These are something that a lot of people uh walk past a lot of times, but the slots on these are actually really good. And the reason why we're starting uh starting with this too is the fact that

[03:01] these are most common uh in almost every casino. So, we're going to go to 10 Now, Wolf Run, I'm going to pick this game because you can again find it at most casinos and it's relatively good. It's relatively easy. It's lower in

[03:14] volatility and it's good on a smaller bank roll and also a bigger bank roll, too. We have videos on the channel of us playing this at high limits, $120 bets. can go check that out in our video library. Now, the bet options on this

[03:28] one, uh, we can take it down. We have a $4 bet that is under our 1% rule. So, again, we don't want our bet to exceed $5 in this step. We'll go outside of that later in the video, but we don't want our bet to exceed $5. We're looking

[03:43] for three of those bonus symbols or a full screen of those wilds. So, let's get started with some $4 spins. And I do apologize, the game is relatively quiet, so you might not be able to hear it. And you can keep track of our budget and our

[03:56] [music] right now. There we go. That's good. That's $25. So that actually puts us up a little bit. So we're at [music] 513. That's another good one right there. $15. 524.

[05:06] here. So, we're going to leave it at the $4 bet. Uh that is incredible. That's really like [music] starting on this game. Uh, we're going to take this to 900. So, we're going to see how we can do 900

[05:20] or a,000. That's the goal is 900 or a,000. So, we're setting oursel a floor and we're [music] setting oursel a high point. point. Oh, one more. Oh, man.

[05:50] it. It's actually an older classic game that is still available at most casinos. Uh so that's why I wanted to start with this one. Again, you're mostly going to this one. Again, you're mostly going to find this at the bar top machines.

[06:28] come out. The bonus is not impossible to get on this game. All right, $6. A little more than our bet. The bonus frequency on this game is actually um pretty good.

[06:59] we have $900. We converted our 500 into 900. We have a profit. Really quickly before we move on to step two, I want to let you guys know at any point at any point when trying to do this method uh that you are comfortable with your

[07:13] winnings, I want you to walk away with it. Uh so you know what? If you're satisfied with 900, take this time. If you're on an extended trip, go take a the spa, explore the other things at the uh at the resort, at the property, go do

[07:26] something else. If you're at your local casino, take the win and go home. Um, but if you'd like to continue on, let's move on to step number two. Okay, so moving on to step two. Step two is going to be pressing your luck. Now, this is

[07:40] the most important part, and this is where I want you guys to pause and reflect. So, what you're going to do in this step is you're going to be playing on your winnings. So, hopefully in step one, you were able to double your

[07:53] bankroll or at least get close to it or maybe even exceed it. Now, you're going to press your luck. Now, you're going to go outside of that 1% rule and you're going to start doing some larger bets. But here is where the important part

[08:06] comes into play, and that is going to be set yourself a floor. Always set yourself a high point goal and then a floor. You can feel free to play with your bet, you can push your limits, you can go outside of the 1% rule, that's

[08:20] fine. But make sure that you set yourself a floor, a stopping point. Usually what I like to do in this, so let's say you had your uh $500 budget and let's say you got up to a,000. What I like to do in this step is I'll try

[08:33] some bigger bets, some higher denominations, uh some bigger uh some just push it push it a little bit, but keep that $500 floor. So when I get back to 500, if we happen to fail, we're going to go back to step one. So that's

[08:49] kind of the important part of this step. Now, it sounds easy to do, but you want that floor. And that's something you should always be doing as a gambler in general is setting yourself a floor. So, let's move on to step two. All righty,

[09:02] which is going to be pushing your luck. Now, we have that $92 ticket. Uh we're piggy bank and breakin. This one is a little bit harder than uh obviously Wolf Run is. And also, really quickly, if you guys ever want to stick onto the same

[09:18] game, uh you are more than welcome to do that. you we could have stayed on wolf run. Um but it is important to know and I want you to give you guys a little tech perspective here. There is nothing in the programming for a hot or a cold

[09:30] machine. That is very very dangerous mentality to get into thinking uh that a machine is hot or it is cold. Every single spin is random and independent. There's no programmable reason. It can

[09:42] absolutely feel hot and cold sometimes. Uh but there's nothing in the system at all that uh would make it hot or cold. So, now we're going to go outside of that 1% rule. And this is the step again that's a little more risky. But again,

[09:55] yourself a floor. We're going to look at 10-cent level. And uh we're going to try 10-cent level. And uh we're going to try some uh $8 spins. Um actually, you know what? Let's push it a little bit more. Let's try some $12 spins. Again, this is

[10:09] outside of the 1% rule. We're no longer building a bankroll, but we are [music] risking now. And we're going to set ourselves a $500 floor. This is what we obviously not our bonus. It was here before. Um, and also really quickly,

[10:22] perceived progression. These little piggies, uh, they grow obviously, but that does not impact the bonus whatsoever. Again, please do not get yourselves caught up in myths. Uh, I've worked many, many years in the gaming

[10:35] industry, and I'm telling you this, this up here is all marketing on any machine. It does not indicate that a bonus is closer or more easy to get or anything like that. So, please do not get caught up into it. We're going to flex our bet

[10:48] around, but we are going to do some risk. We're going to do some $12 spins. risk. We're going to do some $12 spins. Let's go. Those coin stacks are wild. Any of those pigs can go off at any point in time. Uh you need six for a

[11:00] natural pop, obviously, but they can go off at random. And we're going to flex our bet around a little bit. So, this is step number two is kind of a fun one. You can play with your bank roll a little bit more

[11:16] your bank roll a little bit more and kind of flex around here. All right, $61. So, we're actually at a little bit of a profit right now.

[11:30] reason why I selected Piggy Bank and Breakin is because the line pays are relatively decent. They do keep you in. Uh the bonus is fairly easy to get. It's not the most impossible bonus to get. Um, and the bonus can be very rewarding.

[11:44] It can be very good. Biscuit is my favorite, the blue pig. So, we're having fun. We're flexing our bed around. Uh, we're risking it a little bit more, but we have that $500 floor in mind.

[12:08] And believe it or not, I've actually gotten a jackpot on $8 spins um on this gotten a jackpot on $8 spins um on this game at this bet level in the past. That more. There we go. We got it. We got pickles. All right. So, pickles isn't my

[15:10] You could go back to 500 and you can kind of build up and then set your profit aside or you can continue pushing your luck. But what I'm going to do is I'm going to collect I'm going to cash out and then I'm going to take $1,000.

[15:23] I'm going to take $1,000 from this ticket and I'm going to kind of start and see how we do from there. All righty, guys. Now, for step three. So, for step three, what I want you to do is take this moment to pause and evaluate.

[15:38] Evaluate whether you want to continue, whether you want to push on a little bit more or whether you're happy with where you stand right now. Something really important to remember in this step as well is obviously this is gambling.

[15:50] successful. Just because you follow every single step, you're not always going to win. The most likely outcome with gambling is a loss. So, you might have gone through step one and you can't get past it. Uh, and you know what? That

[16:04] happens. It's gambling. There's nothing that you can do to try to manipulate a slot machine in any way, shape, or form. All of this has to do with just conditioning your bankroll, conditioning your betting strategies, and really

[16:16] setting in that foundation of having that stopping point, that evaluation time. What I'd like you to do in this step, if you would like to continue, is change it up. Now, you're going to try a different machine, you're going to try

[16:31] some different bets, you're going to kind of really, really flex it around that bankroll. Obviously, keeping within that stopping point, keeping within that range that you want to do. So, use this step if you're ahead to try your luck on

[16:43] a more difficult machine, a higher volatility machine. If you're not having any luck, try to find uh an older machine, an easier machine, and I'll kind of flex around and I'll show you a little bit of both in this step. All

[16:55] righty, guys. Step number three, pushing your luck on a [music] more difficult game. Now, this is going to be Queen Chu. Couple things before we get into about Queen Chu and a little bit about this step. Again, and I cannot stress

[17:09] step one or step two and you want to walk away at any point, please [music] do that. Uh never try to push your luck if you don't want if you can't overextend yourself. Um couple things about Queen Shu. We have a major, the

[17:23] major, the minor, and the mini up there. We're on 50cent DOM. So now we're going up to a higher denom, a higher bet level on 50cent DOM. You can get doubles and triples of the major, the minor, and the mini. And also, we do have this must hit

[17:37] by counter right here. That 718, that is a must hit by because we know because it a must hit by because we know because it says must be won before 1,888 Phoenix's collected. So, the higher that number gets, the closer it gets to

[17:52] 1,888, uh, the more likely that feature is to go off. And then with that, also, every Phoenix that you get adds to that counter. Now, for this one, we need three or more of these coins right here,

[18:05] three or more of these coins right here, or six or more of the Phoenix's to get a natural trigger, or you can trigger it with less than six. So, we're moving on with less than six. So, we're moving on to this step with $1,000 from our $1,000

[18:17] ticket uh that we had. And again, I can't stress this enough, guys. If you cannot afford to safely do so and move on, please do not do that. So 50 lines, 50 cent dam, 25 bucks a spin. We're going to go ahead. We're going to spin

[28:27] There's multiple ways that you can um that you can handle it. Uh if you're not used to hitting jackpots or if you very rarely hit jackpots throughout the year, of course, I always recommend taking taxes out. Uh we can't give tax advice

[28:39] on this channel. you guys can um handle those taxes however you'd like, but uh take taxes out. If you don't want to, of course, you can save it to the end of course, you can save it to the end of the year, handle it then. Um now, one

[28:53] really big thing is when you hit a jackpot, uh take a moment to kind of reflect, take it in, and then also think to yourself, what could you do with that money? So, $3,325, what could uh what could I do with that?

[29:08] whether it's shopping, whether it's paying some bills, um helping out family, anything like that. Uh take some time to reflect about what you could do with that. Um don't always I think a lot of people are always very tempted to

[29:20] or keep chasing that counter. Oh, it's hot. I'm going to try to hit that again. Uh slot machines don't work like that. They they are not hot. Uh and please lucrative to play the counter that's higher, but please don't chase it. Um,

[29:35] take the jackpot money, set it aside, and just kind of sit back and evaluate what you want to do with it. We're going to spin that off. we can go ahead and select our Phoenix cuz we're down to last spin. See if we

[30:15] and out, all of that stuff doesn't work. So, always keep that in mind. It is 100% about controlling your bankroll and your budget. The whole purpose for this video and the foundation points that we put into place is getting you used to really

[30:29] point, making sure that you're evaluating as you're going along. That is how you are successful at slots. And that's what I personally do. Whether I'm playing at high limits, I take the opportunity to evaluate every step of
