Download .txt[00:02] never been more ways to gear up in World of Warcraft, but getting to the good stuff can take a bit of time. The very first leg of your gearing up adventure can be a bit tedious. But lucky for you, we've got some very useful tips and
[00:15] tricks to help gear up your alt super fast. In this video, we're going to go over how you can get your alts up to item level 250 or higher in just 3 hours or less, so you can quickly jump into whatever endgame activity you prefer.
[00:28] Now, before we jump in, be sure to hit up that like button and subscribe so you never miss another video. The first thing you want to do on a fresh level 90 alt is to skip over the leveling campaign. As long as you've completed
[00:40] the full level up campaign at least once before, you can visit Sorodori in the Silver Moon Inn and ask her to skip over the whole campaign. That will let you pick up some important quests and you won't have to worry about actually doing
[00:53] the campaign on your alts. Your next stop should be Loramar in the middle of Silver Moon. He should give you a midnight world tour quest, which still rewards a one-time spark of radiance. The quest won't be marked as a purple
[01:07] another character, so it is kind of easy to miss, but it should be available right after you skip the leveling campaign. You should also pick up the Unity Against the Void meta quest from Leaddin in Silver Moon and try to choose
[01:22] of the zone weekly events or another easy option like world boss kills or the Argentina toasting. Our first few pieces of gear are more or less free and you'll be double dipping
[01:35] with another important quest. So, it's incredibly efficient. You'll want to pop by each renown vendor for the four midnight zones. Assuming you haven't been entirely ignoring renown, you should be able to grab a piece of
[01:48] champion gear from each faction. Each one requires you to complete a quest, but that quest is to simply complete the world event tied to that zone. So that's going to be Southrel Suare for Everong Woods, the abundance event for Zullemon,
[02:02] the legends of the Haraneer for Harendar, and the Stormarian Assault for the Void Storm. Completing all four events will earn you the four champion pieces of gear from the renowned quests, giving you a muchneeded item level
[02:14] boost, and you'll also complete the Midnight World Tour quest, which you can hand in for your Spark of Radiance. You'll also get quite a few caches, which should contain a couple of pieces of veteran gear between them, which is a
[02:26] nice little boost. Now, at this point, I would rumage around your warb band to see if you have any warbound gear tucked away that you can make use of. Warbound gear has been more readily available in Midnight and at higher item levels when
[02:40] you've been playing quite a lot since the expansion went live, chances are you'll have at least a few items that can speed up your alt gearing process. A great source of warbound gear is the weekly world boss. Your first kill of
[02:55] the week on your account will always give you a piece of warbound champion gear. So, I say it's always worth killing at least once per week. And if character that you're on, tuck it away in your warb band bank and you can use
[03:08] it on your alts at a later date. If you haven't killed the world boss yet this week, head on over and see what drops. You might get an upgrade for your alt or something you can squirrel away for the future. Either way, it's going to take
[03:20] less than 10 minutes. Another great source of warbound gear are delves. When you get up to rank eight in the Delve seasonal track, tier 9 or above delves just makes gearing up multiple characters so much faster, and you can
[03:36] skip over more of the initial gearing up process. This also makes gearing up from dels just much faster when your alts can clear tier 9 dels or above, as you'll have some extra chances to get champion track gear.
[03:49] The next stop on our gearing adventure is going to be a few void strikes to complete the weekly quest associated with that new content. You can pick up the weekly quest in Silver Moon or it should pop up when you fly over a void
[04:01] strike if you don't have it already. The weekly quest requires you to complete five void strikes and it will reward you with a box that contains 75 field accolades, some copper key shards, and other rewards. That's enough field
[04:13] accolades to buy a piece of champion gear or you can just save them up for later. That's going to be up to you. Completing the void strikes will also earn you some more field accolades. Coffer key shards and champion crests.
[04:25] And if the void incursion pops up while you're out and about, well, you may as well complete that as well for the extra rewards. That will get you a head start on your next piece of champion gear. Or you can save them up for a box of hero
[04:37] gear instead. Between the weekly events and cashes and the void strikes and bag rewards, you're going to obtain a lot of coffer key shards. We can take those coffee shards and head into some tier eight or above delves. But there is
[04:50] something you can do before that to speed things up a bit. If you completed any delves or dungeons while leveling up, and you definitely should have, even if it was only to complete the Delve quests for the huge bonus experience
[05:03] gains, you probably have quite a few sparks of radiance already. Completing get you one more. And then the Midnight World Tour quest will earn you another. So, you should have two at the bare minimum, but hopefully you have a few
[05:17] more. I did a few dungeons on my Warlock, so I had 10 sparks ready to go when I hit level 90. Every two sparks can be turned into a piece of crafted gear, or four sparks if you're looking to craft a two-handed weapon. I would
[05:31] recommend crafting at least a weapon if nothing else as that will give you a huge power boost. After that, most classes favor cloaks, belts, braces, and boots as they have lower stat budgets and don't conflict with tier set gear.
[05:45] Crafting rings isn't a bad call either. You can craft those pieces first or just replace whatever your lowest item level slots are after you've run a few delves. With just the sparks and no crest upgrades, your spark crafted gear can go
[05:59] up to item level 259, which will be a huge upgrade for most of your gear slots. Remember to add an embellishment onto two of the items, one of which will usually go on your weapon. And make sure you always use missives to get your best
[06:13] in slot stats on any piece of gear that you make. Using the 10 sparks that I have, I'm going to craft a weapon, a cloak, some braces, and a ring that replaces some of my lowest item level slots and will help clear tier eight to
[06:27] 11 delves much easier. Now, if you're planning on doing any higherend mythic plus dungeons, you can upgrade all of these items to 285 using myth crests fairly easily. If you're not interested in dungeons and want to focus
[06:40] more on solo content, it is worth noting that patch 1207 introduces a new tier of difficulty for ritual sites, which are completely soloable. That new tier six will drop five myth crests per run, and those are freely farmable. You can run
[06:55] them as often as you want and earn as many myth crests as you need up to the will be able to upgrade their crafting gear to 285 in the new patch. As an extra bonus, if you keep up with the nil hammer weekly quests in Voidtorm, after
[07:10] four weeks of quests, you'll be able to obtain ascendant void cores, which let you upgrade the item level of maxed out crafted weapons or trinkets by nine item levels. So, these crafted weapons can go all the way up to 294. So, there's not
[07:23] really any reason to hold on to your sparks or avoid crafted gear. There are some huge upgrades available for you, even if you don't want to run dungeons. Another way to fill in some gearing gaps with crafting gear is to use your
[07:37] veteran crests. You should have about 80 veteran crests from the activities we've done already. And that just and so happens to be the exact number we need to craft some gear. All blue crafting recipes can be upgraded up to item level
[07:50] 246 by using 80 veteran crests. So, this can be a great way to put veteran crests to work and fill in some gear gaps as well. I'm going to wait until I've cleared a few dels to replace my lowest piece after that. And you can craft all
[08:04] of this gear by yourself or just use the crafting order clerks in Silver Moon. Either way, it's very easy to get all of this gear crafted to skip ahead with your gearing adventures. From this point on, most of your easy
[08:17] upgrades are going to come from delves. But before we jump in, I would head on over to Void Storm and pick up your void core bonus rolls. you'll be able to get two per week that the void forge has been available. So for my warlock, I'm
[08:29] able to pick up six void cores right away. That simply equates to six pieces of free gear, no matter how you decide to use the rolls. We're finally ready to head into some delves. You can run these on tier eight
[08:43] if you struggle with anything higher. That will still get you champion gear at the end of your run. Ideally though, you would run them on tier 9 or higher if you can. that will give you a chance to get some warbound champion gear and the
[08:56] heroic gear currency called untainted mana. I would run with Valra as a tank so you don't have to worry about aggro and she should carry your runs quite remember to kill her anguish ads whenever they pop up so she stays
[09:10] whenever they pop up so she stays healthy. Jumping in at item level 220 on my warlock, I was able to clear tier 11 delves in 10 to 15 minutes depending on the delin story. So, a bit slower than I'm used to, but honestly, it was pretty
[09:23] smooth sailing with Valyri carrying the whole thing. Each bountiful delve that you clear with a key is a piece of champion gear guaranteed. If you're on tier 11, you have a chance to get hero gear. You'll get hero and myth crests.
[09:37] you'll have a chance to get even more champion gear and some untainted mana crystals if you don't get a piece of hero gear. After your first delve, don't end. They'll sell a selection of champion and hero gear. The champion
[09:53] gear all costs undercoins, which are a warbound transferable currency. So, if up, you can send some undercoins from your other characters. For the hero gear, you'll need to collect untainted mana, which is not transferable. So,
[10:08] you'll just have to keep running delves until you earn enough to buy an item. At the end of each delve run, you'll also have the option to use a void core bonus roll. As long as you're doing a tier eight delve or above, the bonus rolls
[10:20] will give you a piece of heroic gear for each one you use. That's not a bad deal and can help you gear up much faster. But if you plan on heading into mythic plus with these alts, I would save all of your bonus roles until you can get
[10:33] some plus 10 keystone clears in. As you clear through the delves, you'll also if you aren't caught up yet. So, for every two sparks you get, you can craft another piece of gear. So, don't forget about those. If you weren't able to
[10:47] about those. If you weren't able to craft a lot before heading into delves. Now, if your class or spec likes haste or mastery, there's a very easy way to get a hero track necklace, which has a lot of mastery on it. This PvP weekly
[11:00] quest rewards you with the choice of a hero track necklace or ring. The ring has versatility, so usually it's not that great, but the necklace can be a huge pickup for a lot of classes. All you have to do is win six battlegrounds
[11:13] and keep handing the quests in. It's two battlegrounds for each quest, so just complete all three quests and you'll get the neck. It's almost free. You can use the training grounds PvP feature, which is basically guaranteed wins. So, the
[11:27] little bit of time, but if you want a break from delves and a guaranteed hero piece of gear, completing this quest on your alts is a great option. I was able to get my warlock up to 249 in about 3 to 4 hours of play time, probably closer
[11:43] faster if you're lucky or you have a lot of warbound gear ready to go. My Warlock only has just shy of 6 hours play time at max level, and most of that was sat AFK while writing this video, so it's pretty quick to get your alts all caught
[11:58] up. Now, when you're up to about item level 250, you do have a few options. You can jump into Mythic Plus dungeons and start gearing up that way. Mythic Plus dungeons offer some of the best upgrade paths available. You can get
[12:12] hero gear from plus six keys or above. You can start to earn Myth crests at plus 9 keys. And you can use your bonus rolls to get myth track gear starting at plus 10 keys. It's the best way by far to gear up your characters long term.
[12:25] You can keep going with the delve grind for a chance at hero gear, or you can start farming ritual sites for field accolades to trade those in for hero gear, too. Ritual sites are solo player friendly, and you can get a hero piece
[12:37] of gear every hour or two of farming, so it's not too bad all things considered. It's also worth noting that you'll have four charges for the catalyst without doing anything extra on your alts at this point in the season. You can use
[12:51] those charges on champion gear or even lower if you just want to rush your four set bonus. When you equip your foret, you'll get an achievement that lets you loot extra catalyst charges from endgame content. So, it's not really a waste to
[13:04] use them on lower track gear. You'll earn enough charges to upgrade your hero or myth gear if you're consistently playing your alts. So feel free to use those charges as early as you want to. But that's the fastest ways to gear up
[13:17] your alts to get them ready for endgame content. So that's it for this video. How many alts are you playing this expansion? And are there any other ways to quickly gear up that you feel are missing from this video? Leave all your
