[00:02] huge class changes coming with the next weekly reset, and many underperforming classes or specs are seeing some big numbers tuning. There have also been some huge updates to the 1207 PTR this week that include myth track gear

[00:16] rewards from openw world content. The new heroic world tiers will offer even greater rewards, including reliable myth crests for solo players, and the new Sporefall raid loot has been made even better. The release schedule for patch

[00:30] 1207 and patch 12.1 may have shifted quite a bit and it looks like the dev team is moving away from RNG loot in general. The current season was also updated with new gearing options to help get your alts caught up faster. The cap

[00:44] on crests has finally been removed and the prey feature saw a lot of changes that make the system more enjoyable overall. There is a lot to talk about, so let's break it all down in this week's WoW news video. Now, before we

[00:57] button and subscribe so you never miss another video. First up this week, we have a lot of class buffs to look forward to with the next weekly reset with a strong focus on buffing underperforming specs and hero talent

[01:11] tree options. For demon hunters, Havoc will see a 10% buff to death sweep to keep its damage in line with blade dance. And then Aldraki Reva Reaver's Glaive will see a 15% damage buff. Warblades hunger is up 55% and Wounded

[01:26] to the target of your Reaver's mark, up from 25%. Vengeance has very similar buffs for Aldraki Reaver, except Reaver's Glaive will see a 30% buff, and Wounded Quarry goes from 20% to 25%.

[01:42] Feral Druids are up next with a very quick 4% damage boost across the board, which is always nice to see. Mages have quite a few updates this week. Arcane will see a 5% damage boost across the board. Arcane Missiles is being

[01:55] increased by a further 10% and Sunfury's Burden of Power will give Arcane Blast a Burden of Power will give Arcane Blast a 30% bonus up from 25% and Arcane Pulse will get a 20% damage boost up from 15%. For Fire Mage, Pyro Blast damage has

[02:09] been increased by 8% and Frost Fire Bolt Damage will see a 5% buff. These buffs should hopefully give fire mages some higher single target damage without changing much else. And then Frost hasn't been left out. There are a bunch

[02:23] of buffs for Frostfire to try and get it a bit closer to spell slinger in overall throughput. Frostfire bolt damage is up 5%. Duality pyro blast damage was buffed by 25%. Dual casting adapt shatter bonus was increased to 40% from 15%.

[02:39] Heatsync's flurry damage bonus was increased up to 25% and blast radius's comet storm damage bonus is now 50% up from 20%. So, some pretty big buffs for some Frostfire hero talents, which might shake things up a bit next week. Have

[02:55] of your alts, make a dungeon group, and progress through content that way? Well, you can kind of do that in some other games in the collection RPG genre. You characters, each with their own special spells and abilities, strengths and

[03:09] favorite heroes and create teams that take advantage of each specialty like buffs, debuffs, single target damage, or AoE damage to tackle all kinds of content like story progression missions, epic boss fights, or PvP matchups. In

[03:24] Raid Shadow Legends, you get the best of these features with over 1,000 champions to collect, awesome visuals, and so many different types of content to test your champions there are to pick from. You

[03:36] find a team that really clicks. And getting a lucky summon at the portal is updates means there's always something new to look forward to and new challenges to overcome. Raid is also crossplatform. You can play on PC or

[03:50] If you haven't tried Raid: Shadow description or scan the QR code on screen to get some special bonuses only available via my links. You'll instantly get a huge starter pack with the

[04:02] legendary Karatto Fox Hunter Hero. And if you reach level 15, you'll also get a free epic hero, Ugo. And as an extra bonus, you can pick one of these promo champion. Personally, I'd grab a

[04:14] Cheshier cat. There's no way that creepy cat can't carry you to victory. You can hours after downloading the game with our link. So, don't tarry. Download Rage: Shadow Legends today. Now, getting back to the video, another hero talent

[04:28] tree that doesn't see much use is Retribution's Herald of the Sun. So, the dev team are trying to work on that as well. Wake of Ashes now causes your next three holy power spending abilities to apply a dawn light instead of just two.

[04:41] And endless gleam now extends Dawn Light's duration by an additional.5 seconds when divine storm strikes at least two targets up from.3 seconds. So, around with and the effects should last longer in general. I'm not sure if

[04:56] that's enough to compete with Templar, but I guess we'll see how the numbers play out. The priests are up next, and Holy has been having a few mana issues, I guess, because they're going to see an 8% mana cost reduction for flash heal,

[05:09] benediction, prayer of mending, and prayer of healing. So, you should be able to spam those heals a bit more before you run out of mana. Moving on to the rogues, Deathstalker has quite a few buffs for assassination and subtlety.

[05:22] For assassination, death stalker's mark damage, you'll see a 30% buff. Clear the witnesses now increases fan of knives damage by 60% up from 40%. Hunt them down is getting a 25% buff. Corrupt the blood now increases rupture damage by

[05:36] 20% up from 10%. And darkest night effect now increases and venom damage by effect now increases and venom damage by 35% up from 30%. Subtlety we'll see the death stalker's mark and clear the witness buffs but none of the others.

[05:50] For the shamans, elementals farse ancestral spirits now benefit from the critical damage increase of the elemental fury talent. So they should do a bit more damage baseline moving forward. And then resto shamans will see

[06:02] forward. And then resto shamans will see a 5% mana cost reduction for chain heal, healing wave, and riptide. So your mana should go a bit further with these changes in play. And then last but not least, we come to the warriors. Colossus

[06:15] practice strikes damage bonus was increased to 25% for both arms and protection. And then mountain thing's thunder blast damage was increased by 30% for both fury and protection. That's all of the class changes this week. And

[06:28] remember that all of these buffs are scheduled to go live with the next weekly reset, which will be Tuesday the 26th for North America Realms or Wednesday the 27th for EU Realms. What do you think of this round of updates?

[06:41] Are there any classes, specs, or even hero talent trees that you think still need some big updates before season 2? Let me know what you think in the comment section below. Moving on, the 1207 PTR was just updated

[06:55] to include even better rewards from the new heroic world tiers coming in the patch. The two new mini zones that we'll have to explore have two different difficulties, normal and heroic. Obviously, heroic is going to have

[07:08] better rewards, right? Well, this week the dev team decided to increase those rewards even further to better match the difficulty of the content. That is incredibly vague and not particularly useful by itself, but if we pop on the

[07:22] 1207 PTR and do a bit of snooping around, we can see some of these better rewards on display. There's a new quest that asks you to kill the world bosses in these zones and obtain four items, which kind of reeks of the void core and

[07:35] nil hammer quests that have been ongoing since the very start of the season. But this quest will reward you with a piece of myth track gear. You get to choose between a cloak, a belt, and some braces. Everyone has the same options no

[07:48] matter what armor class you're on. So whether you're wearing cloth or plate, between a cloak, a belt, and some braces. So, we'll be able to pick up some very easy Myth Track gear when this patch goes live. With the quest

[08:01] requiring you to pick up four void commander emblems, and with the quest targets being the new world bosses, which you can usually only loot once per week, this quest may take four weeks to finish, which will bring us right to the

[08:14] very end of the season. I guess that's still better than nothing. And this is the very first time that openw world content has rewarded myth track gear at all. But it's not going to be a super duper power spike, unfortunately.

[08:29] worthless, though. Several other rewards were increased as well. Reds in these warbound champion gear instead of warbound veteran gear, so that might

[08:41] actually be useful for helping to gear up your alts much faster. You'll be able to earn more field accolades from all activities, including world quests, rare kills, and from looting treasures. And the new world bosses still drop warbound

[08:53] heroic gear, which can be useful for helping to gear up your alts, too. And then the weekly quest to take part in the new zone activities rewards you with myth crests. So, that gives solo content players two sources of myth crests in

[09:06] patch 1207, which they can then use to craft up to 285 gear. So, there are plenty of ways to gear up even further in the new patch. There are also new ways to spend your field accolades. You can now buy boxes of warbound champion

[09:21] gear for 100 field accolades each, which is a bit of a roundabout way to avoid accountbound. But at least you can now spend spare tokens to help gear up your alts in the new patch. There are also some new boxes that let you buy specific

[09:37] slots of hero gear. There's a box for each gear slot, but the price was each gear slot, but the price was increased up to 750 per piece of gear. We will be able to earn far more field accolades in the new patch, but 750 per

[09:51] piece is still going to sting quite a bit. This does mean that if you only still and you've been trying to farm field accolades to fill those slots, it's probably worth saving your field

[10:04] accolades and just waiting for the new patch to buy the exact slots that you need instead of trying to gamble with the random boxes. Now, if you can't wait until patch 1207, there are a handful of updates this week

[10:17] to the live servers that can help you gear up a bit faster. To start with, you can now buy warbound champion gear from the Mythic Plus keystone vendors in Silver Moon. Each box will set you back 750 void light mall, which makes these

[10:31] boxes kind of expensive. But if you have plenty of Maul to spend and you want to champion gear faster so that they can jump into the real endgame content loop, that's yet another option to get some easy champion gear. Another very

[10:46] important update this week is that the crest caps have all been removed. We're not too sure if this is because the Hall of Fame for the March on Kelanas raid is now full and closed or if it's just about the right time in the season, but

[10:58] either way, you'll now be able to farm up as many crests as you want. So, if fully upgrade all your gear, or if you're slowly working on upgrading your myth track gear, you won't have to worry about crest caps anymore.

[11:12] This change also makes it a bit more palatable to upgrade your crests as they used to count towards your weekly cap, which made upgrading them feel like a content that rewards the crests you're after. But now you can trade everything

[11:26] up without having to worry about that, which might net you a few more hero or myth track upgrades. In a similar vein, it's also not quite as painful to trade your crests down. With crest caps, any crests you trade down are effectively

[11:40] wasted. But now you can trade your myth crests down to hero if you really need the extra upgrades without worrying about missing out on some myth upgrades long term. I still probably wouldn't if you haven't used all your sparks or if

[11:53] you plan on doing content that rewards you with myth track gear, but at least the choice is there. All in all, you have far more options and flexibility when it comes to spending your crests without any caps to worry about, which

[12:05] makes me wonder why they don't do away with the crest caps entirely, or at least remove them earlier on in the season. All of these systems combine to offer solo content players the best gear

[12:19] rewards they have ever had in World of Warcraft. You'll be able to earn Myth Track gear in patch 1207, even if it is just one piece from the world boss quest. You'll be able to farm myth crests endlessly with a new tier six

[12:31] ritual site. They reward five crests per completion, and with the crest caps removed, you can earn as many as you want. You can then use those crests to create item level 285 crafted gear using sparks of radiance. And then for weapons

[12:44] and trinkets, you can boost their item level even further using ascendant void shards. You'll also be earning some hero crests from each ritual site run and a wide variety of other content, which will eventually be able to trade up to

[12:57] myth crests as you craft and upgrade your gear. This is actually going to be quite interesting as we head into season 2 with every kind of player able to obtain significantly higher item levels. I wonder if we'll see a larger item

[13:11] level gap between season 1 and two, or if everyone who puts in the time now will just get to skip over the first few gear tracks for season two. Usually, anyone kitted out in full myth gear will want champion gear at worst in the new

[13:25] season, and they usually skip over content until they can get heroic gear. If everyone is in that same situation, season 2 might end up being a bit weird. This is probably the highest average item levels across the board that we've

[13:38] ever seen, but I guess we'll just have to wait and see how season 2 shapes up. Now, there are some other interesting changes on the 1207 PTR this week. Starting with the new loot coming in the Sporefall one boss raid. Up until

[13:52] recently, all of this loot had randomized stats, which didn't seem altogether too ideal, especially when you take bonus rolls into account. Thankfully, that's no longer the case. Each item has dedicated stats on it now,

[14:06] and I think most classes and specs will be quite happy that no item from the new raid has versatility on it. Some tank specs might be a bit upset about that, but I think for the most part, versatility is the least desired stat

[14:19] this season. So, that should work out for most players. With how high the item level is for these items when compared to other loot available from similar difficulties, chances are they are going to be your best in slot options no

[14:31] matter what. Having some guaranteed decent stats on them is just icing on the cake. Another interesting change on the PTR is that the turbulent timeways event schedule has shifted quite dramatically. Previously, the event was

[14:44] scheduled to run from June 16th to August 25th, which gave us a likely 1207 release date of June 16th and a patch 12.1 release date of around August 25th.

[14:57] That's been shifted. So, the event starts up on June 30th and runs until August 11th. With these changes, I doubt the release date for 1207 would shift that much. There are quite a few updates for the Midsummer Fire Festival included

[15:11] in patch 1207. And that starts up on June 21st. So, the patch would still likely need to go live before that, which means June 16th is still quite likely. If anything, this just gives us 2 weeks to explore the new content on

[15:25] offer before the time walking event starts up. So, that's kind of nice. But what this does mean is that patch 12.1 might be brought forward a little bit and could start up as early as August 11th, 2 weeks earlier than we first

[15:39] thought. That makes more sense to me. That would put season 2 starting up on August 18th, which will give us just shy of a month before Blizzcon on September 12th and 13th. This also means that the Turbulent Timews event might only run

[15:52] for 6 weeks instead of the previously planned 10 weeks. So, we might not see every time walking expansion during the event. As always with any PTR changes or notes, this is all subject to change, but it's very interesting to see these

[16:05] dates shift. And I would expect patch 12.1 to arrive quite a bit before BlizzCon to make sure the race to world first has a bit of breathing room and so the dev team can focus on what comes next. And then if you missed it, there

[16:18] have also been some pretty significant changes to the prey system over the past punishing overall, and it should make it easier to complete your hunts without having to resort to trap disarming as your only activity. To start with, the

[16:33] hunter's momentum aics has been removed from hard and nightmare prey hunts. This was the one that reduced your prey hunt progress if you died, which could make things take significantly longer if you got a bit unlucky. So, that's gone,

[16:46] progress, which also means you can actually try some harder content without worrying about it setting you back on your prey hunt. You'll also get more prey hunt progress for completing world quests, defeating ambushes, delivering

[17:00] remnants of anguish, which should speed everything up quite nicely, and you won't have to rely entirely on disarming traps to get your prey hunts done. As an extra bonus, they also significantly

[17:13] increase the number of coalesing anguish mobs that spawn in the outdoor world. of the better ways to complete your prey hunts if you're still taking part in that feature or system. And even if you're not, these changes should still

[17:26] be very useful when season 2 comes around, as I'm sure we'll all be doing prey hunts for the first couple of weeks at the very least to help replace our season 1 gear a bit faster and to earn more coffee shards for the season 2

[17:38] delves. So, these changes may be a bit late for most players in season 1, but these kinds of changes in before the start of season 2. But that's all of the updates we have so far. So, that's it for this week's WoW news video. What do
