[00:02] huge class buffs and nerfs coming with the next weekly reset with some hefty nerfs for the classes dominating the top of the charts. And there are quite a lot of buffs for the classes that have been struggling. Well, for some of them at

[00:14] least. Patch 1207 just hit the PTR servers and it looks to be a very interesting patch with heroic world tiers and new borrowed power mechanics. And apparently Blizzard thinks a new housing exterior cosmetic is worth more

[00:29] money than an entire expansion or standalone game. There's a lot to talk about, so let's break it all down in this week's WoW news video. Now, before we jump in, be sure to hit up that like button and subscribe so you never miss

[00:42] another video. Let's kick things off with the huge class buffs and nerfs coming with the next weekly reset. There are some huge adjustments in here for the classes currently on top as well as a couple of buffs for some classes that

[00:54] knights are going to start things out with a 5% buff across the board. So, nothing too crazy or exciting, but a blanket buff is much better than a blanket nerf. Unholy death knights have quite a few nerfs coming their way.

[01:09] Mages of the dead shadowbolt damage is getting knocked down by 15% and graveyard damage is being reduced by 15% as well. For Rider of the Apocalypse, White Mane's Epidemic and Trollbane's Icy Fury damage were both reduced by

[01:23] 25%. And then for San Lane, Thrill of Blood now increases the damage of your Blood now increases the damage of your plagues by 10% up from 5%. With how well Unholy has been doing after all of the bug fixes, these changes aren't too

[01:35] surprising. Devour Demon Hunters have escaped the nerf bat for quite a while now, but their time has finally come. They're going to see a 3% damage nerf across the board with some additional nerfs for

[01:48] annihilator. Void 4 meteor damage is being reduced by 12% and meteoric rise damage bonus for void ray was reduced down to 10% from 15%. I'm honestly significant nerfs sooner than this. And with how dominant they've been, I'm

[02:04] actually surprised these nerfs aren't worse. It's never fun seeing your class or spec get knocked down a peg or two, but I think devourer got off pretty lightly this week. Vengeance demon hunters have a small buff to look

[02:17] forward to. Thick skin now increases armor by 185% up from 150%. That's not going to get them anywhere near the same level as a brew master monk, but something is better than nothing, I suppose. Another tank joins the list as

[02:31] guardian druids have some hefty nerfs for single target performance while getting some juicy thrash buffs. So, wild guardian echo effectiveness has been reduced down to 200% from 300%. Red moon damage was reduced by 20%, maul,

[02:46] rays, and ravage all got 15% nerfs. And then thrash direct damage is up 200% and thrash bleed damage saw a 100% buff. Guardian has struggled with some threat

[02:58] issues in Mythic Plus since their early nerfs in Midnight, so those thrash buffs will hopefully help out a little bit with that. It's just a shame that those buffs come at the expense of your single target potential. Restoration druids

[03:11] good news, I'm afraid. They're going to see a 3% nerf to all healing done across the board and an additional nerf to Ever Bloom that now heals for 20 and 40% of Lifeloom's final heal down from 25 and 50%.

[03:27] Another spec that has been doing very well for itself is augmentation evoker. So, it should come as no surprise that they also join in the queue for the nerf bat this week. They'll see a 5% nerf to all damage and pet damage next week, as

[03:39] well as a few bug fixes for Inferno's Blessing and Scale Commander Bombardment. But apparently those specific fixes shouldn't affect their damage output too much. So their overall support strength should remain

[03:51] relatively unchanged. It's mostly the evoker's personal damage that's going to be a bit lower. Moving on to the hunters, beast mastery has another blanket buff. This time they'll be seeing a 4% increase for all damage and

[04:04] pet damage. Beast mastery has been struggling a bit so far in Midnight, so it might need a few more of these buffs before it can compete with some of the other specs. Marksmanship has also been struggling since their 1205 rework,

[04:18] which a lot of hunters haven't been very happy about, but maybe these buffs will ease the transition. Rapid fire damage will see a 20% buff. Explosive shot damage has been increased by 100%. Arcane shot and multi-shot damage up

[04:31] Arcane shot and multi-shot damage up 30%. and steadyshot damage was doubled. So, pretty much every key rotational ability besides aim shots or some big damage buffs. I know damage isn't going to make the rotation any less clunky or

[04:44] annoying, but at least you'll see some bigger numbers, which is always nice. Frost mages didn't escape the nerf bat either this week. They're going to catch a 6% damage nerf for shatter damage to your primary target. Apparently, the

[04:58] recent bug fixes for Hand of Frost and Flurry gave Frost a decent power spike. So, this nerf is an attempt to offset that damage increase. Frost mages have also been doing very well for themselves, so it's not too surprising

[05:11] to see them get a little nerf. Unfortunately, that's all for the mage changes this week, which does make me scratch my head a bit, but more on that in just a moment. Then we come to the monks and the dreaded brew master monk

[05:24] nerfs that everyone knew was coming. But honestly, it could have been much worse. High Tolerance now refunds two and 4 seconds of purifying brews cool down when cast at elevated stagger down from 3 and 6 seconds. And then Zen State

[05:38] increases stagger effectiveness by 15% based on missing health down from 20%. So, less stagger effectiveness and less access to purifying brew, which definitely isn't ideal and is going to be weaker overall, but I think the lack

[05:52] of other meaningful tank changes and the overall strength of brew master will keep them on top for now. Moving on to the paladins, Holy has yet another round of buffs. Eternal Flame, Word of Glory, and Light of Dawn healing

[06:06] will all increase by 15%. So, your holy power spenders should move those health bars at least a bit more after next week. Protection paladins did make the list this week, but just like with vengeance demon hunters, it's not really

[06:19] anything to write home about. They'll see a 10% increase to their base armor. That sounds just as useful as the buff to auto attack damage that they got last time. I know the dev team doesn't want to rock the boat too much with tank

[06:32] changes and tank balance right now, but they really need to give the other tanks a bone at some point. The priests are up next, and discipline will see some slight adjustments to atonement healing. The damage transfer rate has been

[06:45] increased up to 30% from 28%, so a tiny bit more of your damage will pass into healing, but then atonement healing now decays faster when healing more than five targets. The example given for 20 injured allies shows atonement healing

[06:59] being reduced by 60% instead of the previous 50%. So you'll definitely see and feel these nerfs in raids in larger groups. Holy priests didn't miss out on the fun this week. They'll get another 6% buff across the board for all healing

[07:13] exciting for Holy, but at least you'll be able to keep folks alive a bit easier with these buffs in play. Now, the rogues are up next with quite a few changes for Outlaw. They'll see a 5% damage boost across the board, which is

[07:28] always nice to see, but then trickster has quite a few nerfs. Cloud cover primary and secondary duration was cut down to 6 seconds. Cloud cover now causes phase to stack one additional time instead of two. No scruple's crit

[07:41] chance bonus was increased to 12% and additional stacks of phased granted by cloud cover no longer increase the magnitude of secondary effects such as the damage reduction from the smoke talent. For subtlety, they'll see a 7%

[07:55] damage boost for all damage done and trickster will see the same changes that understand and from what I've read, these changes should end up being a small net bonus for subrogue, but probably an overall nerf for outlaw

[08:08] rogue. Moving on to the shamans enhancement has a lot of buffs to look forward to. Starting with a 5% buff across the board. Auto attack damage are some bug fixes for Thorum's invocation. Stormbringer's natural gift

[08:23] will boost nature damage by 6% up from 2% and voltaic surge increases the damage of crash lightning and chain lightning by 20% up from 10%. Now Warlocks haven't been entirely left out. Affliction will see a 20% damage boost

[08:37] for unstable affliction, a 10% buff for seed of corruption. Corruption damage has been increased by 20%, but that's not going to affect Wither. And agony damage will see a 10% buff as well. I'm a little surprised that demonology

[08:51] hasn't been adjusted at all. But maybe the dev team wants to focus a bit more on buffing the underperforming specs this time and only really nerf the outliers, which is the best way to go about things in my opinion.

[09:05] warriors. For arms, execute and overpower damage will see 20% buffs. Slayers, slayer strike will see a 40% buff, and reap the storm damage has been increased by 30%. For fury, they'll see a 5% damage boost across the board.

[09:20] Execute and raging blow damage are up 20%, slayer, slayer strike will say 40% buff, and reap the storm damage is up 30%. And then mountain's ground current damage will save 50% buff as well. And last but not least, protection will see

[09:34] last but not least, protection will see a 20% buff to execute, a 30% buff to mountain thing's thunderbolast damage, and the same 50% buff to ground current damage. So, every warrior spec should be kicking out a good chunk more damage

[09:46] when these buffs go through. All of these changes are scheduled to go live with the next weekly reset, which will be Tuesday the 5th for NA Realms and Wednesday the 6th for EU Realms. If you're curious what this might do for

[09:59] Warcraft logs and take some look at some cold hard data. These are the specs that will see some nerfs as we head into next week. All of which are in the top half of the DPS charts right now. So, not too surprising to see them get knocked down

[10:13] a peg or two. And then these are the classes that can expect to see a few buffs with the highest one being marksmanship hunter which is towards the lower end of middle of the pack. It's quite interesting to see that survival,

[10:26] wind walker, and demonology are so high up in these charts without seeing any adjustments, while specs lower than them are getting some minor nerfs. So, it'll be fun to see how that plays out over the next few weeks. There are also quite

[10:39] a few specs stuck towards the lower end here that aren't seeing any love this week, including feral druids, fire mages, and arcane mages. They haven't seen any meaningful changes for quite a while now, which makes me wonder if the

[10:53] dev team isn't quite sure what to do with them. If we swap things over to heroic, that picture only becomes clearer. Survival hunters will probably end up on top with all of these changes in play, and shadow priests might need

[11:06] to be careful as well. But down at the bottom, Arcane Mage trails in last spot with fire mage not far behind. All of these specs are going to see some buffs next week, which makes me wonder why the two mage specs are being left in the

[11:20] dust. At least they have frost mage up near the top, even though they will see near the top, even though they will see that minor nerf to shatter damage. So, let's take a look at mythic plus dungeons. And this is a little harder to

[11:33] track accurately, but we can pull up Archon to see how each class and spec are progressing through key levels. We can see that all three specs in the S tier are seeing some nerfs. So, they might drop down a little bit, but then

[11:46] it's a bit all over the place after that. These are the specs that should are the ones that might get knocked down a peg or two. There are a lot of classes and specs in here that could do with a bit of a boost, but they'll have to wait

[12:00] and see if any more tuning changes come through in the next couple of weeks. If we swap things to tanks, there is a clear separation between Brew Master and every other tank. So, it's no surprise that Brew Master got a handful of nerfs.

[12:13] But then most other tank specs didn't really get any meaningful buffs. And Blood Death Knight was left out entirely this week. So, I doubt we'll see much change on this front overall. And then for the healers, Rasto Druid was the

[12:26] only top healer that saw a nerf this week, while discipline, holy paladin, and holy priest should do a bit better next week. So maybe holy priests can catch up to preservation evokers, but I expect the top row will remain largely

[12:40] unchanged. How do you feel about this round of class buffs and nerfs? Are lot of help? Let me know what you think in the comments section below. Now, it's not just class tuning coming with the weekly reset. There's also a

[12:55] lot of nerfs coming for a couple of raid bosses. Bellerin, the first boss in the March on Calanas raid, has some huge adjustments. Rebirth is now a 40-second cast on all difficulties, up from 30 seconds, giving you 10 whole seconds

[13:09] extra to burn the boss down. And then the knockback on light and void edict was reduced on all difficulties as well. So Belleran should be easier to take down no matter what difficulty you're attempting. And then the crown of the

[13:22] cosmos encounter in the void spire has a lot of nerfs for mythic difficulty specifically. Yria's health has been reduced by 5% which is a pretty significant nerf all by itself, but then the berserk timer has also been

[13:34] increased by 15 seconds. So you have less health to get through and more time to actually do it. The stage one ads all had their health reduced by 10%. Yria's energy generation in stage two was reduced by 15%. Rift simulacrims had

[13:48] their health knocked down by 10%. The big ads will generate energy slower in stage three. Rift simulacrims will generate energy slower as well. The spawn time between rift simulacrims and cosmic portals was increased. Void

[14:00] stalker sting targets fewer players in stage three and silver strike ricochet width was increased to match the other difficulties to make it easier to hit your targets. All in all, Yria should be quite a bit easier to take down for any

[14:13] mythic guilds currently working on that boss fight. Moving on, patch 1207 was announced this week, and the first build became available to test on the PTR, so we can see how everything works. We'll have two

[14:27] new mini zones to explore, which have world tier difficulty settings, so you can choose to enter these zones on normal mode or heroic mode, which we assume will have much shinier rewards waiting for you. These new zones offer

[14:40] accolades to buy the same gear boxes that we've had access to in patch 1205 as well as warbound adventurer and champion gear. There's a new one boss raid that will open up in Harendar and that has some very interesting loot. It

[14:54] all seems to have random stats and everything is warbound. So, we could end up with myth track warbound gear from this raid. There's also a quest to obtain a free nebulous void core bonus roll for killing the new raid boss. The

[15:07] Omnium Folio is a new borrowed or temporary power mechanic that provides your characters with passive bonuses to deal extra damage or healing. There's a new difficulty tier for ritual sites, tier six, which makes things even

[15:20] harder, but it lets you farm myth crests as much as you want. So, that's the first uncapped source of myth crests that we've had for solo content players. The patch will introduce a bunch of new story content that paves the way for

[15:32] patch 12.1 and the new troll island zone. will probably heading over to law stories about the lower and there are a bunch of updates for things like housing and the base user interface. We'll also see the return of the turbulent timeways

[15:47] event which brings dragonfly dungeons into the fold. This will be a great time to level up any alts you haven't gotten around to yet and earn some new rewards like the spawn of varonoff mount and perhaps this new deathwing onesie that

[15:59] popped up in the PTR files. Now, if you're curious when this new patch might go live, the Turbulent Timeways event is currently slated to start on June 16th, according to the in-game calendar on the PTR. So, the patch would have to go live

[16:14] on or before June 16th, which lines up with the usual 8week patch cadence. If and all of the new content coming our way, we just made a video that digs in a bit deeper, so I'll link that in the comment section below.

[16:30] Now, in other news, Blizzard decided this week was the perfect time to reveal their latest and greatest cash shop creations. This time, we have some treehouse housing exterior skins that actually look really cool. There's one

[16:44] with some typical green bows and wood colors, as well as a cherry blossom version with white accents. There are little stairs heading up to balconies and platforms that surround the house. And overall, it looks very cool for a

[16:57] baseline exterior house that doesn't take any decor budget to set it up. There's also a bunch of other decor items included in these packs to give you plenty of options to continue the theme inside or outside of your house.

[17:11] This pack being in the cash shop isn't ideal, but with the recent decor price problems and all the push back those first few decor packs got, surely the price tag on this thing will be somewhat reasonable, right? Well, I guess that

[17:25] depends on what you think is reasonable. But the housing pack will set you back $75 if you want to buy the entire thing with all of the decor included. That's kind of crazy. And that puts this housing pack above a base edition

[17:39] expansion price tag. If you're curious how much gold you would need to pick up this pack by buying tokens and going about it that way, you'll need five tokens for the $75 in battle net balance. And each token will cost you

[17:51] 270,000 gold. So you're looking at just shy of 1.4 million gold. And that's assuming the token price doesn't increase. Now you can buy the exterior house options alone if you want to. And that'll only

[18:04] set you back $40. So if you'd rather have a housing pack than an entire other have a housing pack than an entire other game, I guess that's an option for you. We knew that as soon as Hearthsteel popped up that housing would be

[18:17] monetized to Helen back, but I think this pack feels bad for two main reasons. The price tag is kind of insane. I don't think any cosmetic set, no matter what it's for, should be priced higher than a game, unless it's

[18:29] like a super giga set that includes a whole bunch of stuff in a buytoplay or tags for cosmetics in a subscription-based game are kind of wild. But what makes this worse is that housing exteriors are also something

[18:44] that we were promised more of. It's already annoying that these paid options look way better than the base options we have for housing exteriors with far more detail and special effects, but these paid options are coming in before any

[18:57] new race options. We only have four styles covered out of a total of 14 races if you don't include allied races or 26 if you do. With housing exteriors added to the cash shop pipeline, I imagine it's just going to take even

[19:12] longer to see those base race options added in. Why work on a dwarf housing exterior when you can sell a seasonal theme for $75 in the cash shop? I'll be very interested to see when new housing exteriors are added in and how many we

[19:27] see in the cash shop versus ones you can unlock in game or that are unlocked for free over the course of the midnight expansion. But that's all the updates we have so far. So that's it for this week's WoW news video. What do you think

[19:41] of this week's round of class buffs and nerfs? And how do you feel about the $75 all your thoughts in the comments our supporters over on Patreon to all of our members here on YouTube. You can see
