18:15[00:01] blowing up on Etsy and is making sellers a lot of money. And so, in today's video, I'm going to share with you the entire step-by-step process on how to source this product, design this product, post it for sale on Etsy, and
[00:15] mock-ups and all of that to really stand out and actually make this a successful product today is engraved jewelry. And Printify actually has a lot of different
[00:27] options for engraved jewelry, which is incredible. It's necklaces, bracelets, And I do highly encourage you to check out the product catalog. A lot of these styles that they offer are actually ones that are bestsellers on Etsy, which is
[00:41] on top of that. And I like that they're not super basic. So, they have this heart necklace cutout. There's a bar double layered necklace, even an engraved cuff, and so much more. This one could be towards a religious niche
[00:55] as it does have a cross on it. They have a really a really great amount of Etsy, just by the simple search of engraved jewelry, we can see how many popular now and bestselling badges are happening. And we have holidays coming
[01:08] up that these are really beneficial, like Valentine's Day. Everyone is shopping for Valentine's Day right now. But not just that, we also have Mother's than you know, and then also graduations. And so engraved jewelry is
[01:21] going to fall as a really great gift in all of those categories. Here's an example of a popular now heart necklace. Printify has one that is very similar to this. It's only been on Etsy for eight months and it's done $13,000 in revenue.
[01:34] So, this seller is killing it. They're selling the product for $50. If we jump over to Printify and we find the necklace that looks very similar. We can necklace that looks very similar. We can see here that the price starts at $17 or
[01:46] $11 if you are a Printify premium member like myself. So obviously the markup is pretty high for that if we were to charge upwards $50 because again it's engraved and customers are expecting to pay that. Now what's actually really
[01:59] cool about this is you don't really need to design at all unlike most print on have to make a ton of different designs for your shirts, your sweatshirts, all of that. This is engraved and most likely people are engraving their names,
[02:13] dates, birthdays, all these different things, right? So, you don't necessarily need to design anything, which is awesome. So, what we're going to do is create a personalized listing and we're just going to use text, which you can do
[02:25] all on the Printify platform without an additional design app. So, what I'm going to do is go over to my left side here. Now, very important, instead of button above it that says personalize. [music]
[02:37] click add personalized text. And then this text here is what we're going to put our placeholder or an example for our customers once it's engraved. So I'm going to go ahead and just put a random date here. We'll do some lucky
[02:50] numbers for me. And then a random year. Oh, okay. That didn't happen yet. Okay. Or whatever. Okay, perfect. So I have my date here. And then up at the top is where we can choose our fonts. So you can upload your own font here or you can
[03:03] They're here um under like these different categories. I like handwriting good. I really love this one, but maybe not for this product cuz it looks we want it to appear more high-end. [music] So maybe like a cursive of some sort.
[03:18] Just pick the one that looks good. Okay, that looks nice. And then we'll choose our variants. So they have stainless steel. I also would like to offer these it to the way that I want it. And we don't really need a color for this
[03:33] because it's engraved, right? So I'm just going to leave it like that. And already our product is designed because this is personalized again. So our Etsy customer is going to actually do their own personalization. We'll just have to
[03:45] designing for this product, right? So we're not designing. The markup's really it's a lot of it's not a lot of time to make this. Okay. So here's a preview of our product. And as you can see, it is engraved. So it's not printed. It's
[04:00] actually literally engraved into our base there. So, I'm just going to go look good. Before we move on, this is an important step. I'm going to have for every color variant that you have. So, just click this button down here and
[04:15] download. Choose the other one. Download. This is important later on our mockups. And I'm going to show you the best way possible on how to actually stand out because arguably this product is being sold across Etsy, so we do want
[04:28] good, I'm going to go ahead and continue on with my process. So here we're just going to choose our mockup photos that Printify gives us, which are pretty engraved. So that's why we're going to have to make more. So for my listing
[04:43] listing. This is a feature on Printify where you get 10 of them a day to I'm just going to type in a few things about this necklace utilizing keywords
[04:55] that I see on Etsy. Now, when I was doing my research, I am using my EverB Chrome extension today, which is a Chrome extension that shows you data based on Etsy sales and other sellers listings that are selling really well.
[05:08] You'll see here on my screen, the Chrome extension shows me how many sales, of the product. This is really helpful for data to know what types of products are selling, and to know what types of keywords to use in our actual listings
[05:21] to help us be seen and rank higher on Etsy's SEO. So when I look and analyze this listing, I can see what words are working very well for it. So I can see custom engraved heart pendant, special date necklace, personalized love
[05:35] pendant, engraved love necklace, name and date for jewelry, right? And so I Everbe Chrome extension on the ones that are performing well for heart necklaces and get a better idea of keywords that I should include in my listing to help me
[05:50] stand out. I can also go over to product analytics on Everbe and type in engraved jewelry and just do a quick search. And then with this, I can also get a bit more data. It shows me how many sales, what the growth rate is, and the trends.
[06:04] So this one is a custom locket necklace that's made 91,000. If I click on it, I can just get more data. So this one has personalized photo pendant. We don't have that, but custom Mother's Day gift for her. These are words that I would
[06:16] want to consider using in my actual title so that I can get better um you know reach and searchability on my store. So, I do like to use Everbe for extensions. Everbe is one of my favorites and it really has proven over
[06:31] the years to help me with my Etsy sales. I've used it since I started print on So, I will leave a link in the description for you with a special out if you'd like to because you will see me using it across this video. So,
[06:45] I'm seeing a lot of custom the word engraved women's gift for her. So, I want to include all of that. So, I'm going to paste in a few things like that going to paste in a few things like that for my optimize on here so that Printify
[06:57] can actually give me a AI optimized title utilizing a lot of the things that I want to say. And that way, Printify will take this and give me an AI keywords, which is really cool. So, see, it just gave me a product title. It gave
[07:11] me a description for it and all the keywords, which is super helpful. And all this can be changed later on if you want to do more extensive research when bit of a way to save you some time in the actual uploading process. I'm going
[07:24] to hit apply to listing. And now we're pretty much ready to go. But because this is personalized, as you'll see here, there is a personalization section. Now, this is cool because it's giving the instructions for our customer
[07:37] to do their personalization. So, the cool thing about this update with this listing is see here how there's a link. Now, this link is going to be available to your customer to get a live preview of their engraving on the product. So,
[07:50] going to show you what the customer's [music] perspective would be when they click on your personalized listing. So, here it will show them all the colors of the listing and they'll hit start personalizing. And here they can put in
[08:02] their custom date and see what it looks like as a live preview. Really cool, right? It doesn't have to be a date either. Let's say they wanted to put [music] Kelly their name and then a date right after it. It will give the
[08:15] customer a live preview of what it will look like once Printify prints it. So, as I said, that text that we put earlier, it's just placeholder text. Let's say we want it to say January or M plus L or whatever it is. It will show
[08:29] them a preview, which is so cool. And let's say this is what they want. Once they hit save design, it will give them a code to use [music] when they purchase your item so that the personalization goes directly over to Etsy and you do
[08:42] not have to design the product. It's already done by the customer and then have to approve it. That's why this is like one of the coolest products ever today. Now, on your listing here, when you upload this, Printify will give you
[08:57] a thing to say for here already for your customer. Please add the text you would character limit just limits the amount of things that people can write here. Because it's a smaller product, I am going to just limit it at 100. I don't
[09:11] It's honestly very high. Most people are going to do dates or names, but just to scroll down, Printify also is going to give us instructions already. Copy the link below in a new tab to personalize your product and preview your design. So
[09:25] the customer will see that they need to put this in to go ahead and personalize finish designing, copy your personalization code and paste it to complete your order. So it's all the customer's um details are already there.
[09:37] just leave it as it is. Now we can move on to pricing. And pricing is very on Etsy, right? We don't want to price too low. We don't want to price too high. But as we saw in our research when using Everbe, we can see that the
[09:52] pricing is pretty consistently higher because of these engraved products. This because of these engraved products. This necklace is at $71. This one's at $25. I saw one for 50. Now, we do want to take in into consideration that our product
[10:05] is not fully gold. So, don't go pricing your product like it's real gold. It is goldplated. But the pricing here seems to be around $25 to $50. As I'm noticing, this one has been doing pretty well. This is They've made $12,000 in 2
[10:22] well. This is They've made $12,000 in 2 months. Okay. And they have this listed $60, but it's on sale for 30. So, we could go around the $30 price point, I think, is a good way to play this. And then maybe offer free shipping. Now, I
[10:35] am going to go over to this button that says quick overview. I'm going to hit optimize because what Printify does is it actually keeps in mind prices on Etsy and so on to give you an idea of what you should price your product. This is a
[10:48] newer feature as well that's been really helpful for me when saving time because price your listing at. So, I'm going to hit optimize. It tells me to price it at hit optimize. It tells me to price it at $38.99. It is at a 44%. That's very good
[11:01] and very high for print on demand and that's with charging the customer for shipping. So, their price would come out to around $43ish, which I think is fair. If I do want to offer free shipping, select this button,
[11:15] goes down to 12. And then you can reoptimize. Now, it's saying to charge 45 with free shipping and I would actually still get the same $17 profit. So, either way, the product is going to be the same cost for the customer. It's
[11:30] free shipping or not. I'm going to click edit price and just make it a even there's like cents. I don't know why. It's just a weird thing of mine. So now we can go ahead and upload this to our store. I'm going to select hide in store
[11:46] Etsy shop, it's actually going to publish hidden so that I can make some then I'm going to publish it to my Etsy shop. Now, if you don't have an Etsy This is very easy to create. It's around $15 to $25 depending on where you're
[12:01] located to start an Etsy shop. And I do have some free listing links which I will put in the description. And I will also include a tutorial on how to it directly with Printify along with my program which is on a really crazy sale
[12:15] for a step-by-step process on how to set up your print on demand business. But essentially, when your Etsy shop is synced with Printify, this already is created it in Printify. So now on Etsy, let's go to my shop and I'll show you
[12:29] Don't panic if you don't see it in active. It's cuz we clicked for it to be hidden draft. And you'll see it showed up. And then here is our listing ready for us to continue editing. [music] Now it gives us those three main mockup
[12:42] those are important and we should keep them there. But I'm going to show you how we can get more mockups to really amplify our listing. So remember earlier mockups from Printify? That's where they're going to come in handy now
[12:56] the mock-ups for our products. Now, I the most advanced that I have found. They use Nano Banana and Nano Banana Pro, which are very valuable and create beautiful mock-ups that you would never
[13:09] know are made by AI. Now, normally you could order samples of these products, hundreds or thousands of products when it comes down to variants, it's unrealistic to order a sample of all of them. So, I really have turned to using
[13:23] AI for mock-ups and it's helped a lot. So, I'm on KD. There is a link in the KD yet. They do have a free plan so you can try this out for free. I'm going to select new project. Now, for my design dimensions, I'm going to do the typical
[13:35] Etsy thumbnail photo size, which is 3,000 pixels by 2250 pixels. And now we have our exact sized artboard for this. Now, what I'm going to do is bring in the photo of our necklace that we grabbed. Beautiful. Just going to make
[13:50] high quality, so all I'm going to do is hit remove background cuz right now it has a white background on it. [music] Okay. And okay, now we're done. Just kidding. Now, we're going to go up to artboard here, select it, and click add
[14:03] give us an AI image based off of the image that we have plus a prompt. So, if you're not familiar with AI, it is all done by prompts, and you have to give it create for you. Now, when I first started doing this, I had no idea how to
[14:17] sense or create photos that I even wanted, right? Like, I would see so great." But then not know how to recreate it or how to properly communicate it to the AI. So, to save you time and money when working with AI
[14:29] free credits with a free plan. This is important step. So, what you're going to Now, you can use chat GPT inside of KD just do it as normal. Now on ChachiPT, what I like to do is I like to give it
[14:43] screenshotted photos and ask it for a similar prompt that I can use to create my AI image. Okay, so what I've done here is I've gone on my Etsy and I've doing really well for bestselling
[14:58] listings. So I went on Everbe and I did it for engraved necklace. I looked at the top selling ones and I want to just take inspiration from their photo. It's taking this photo and actually this is a completely different necklace. But what
[15:10] I'm going to do is I'm going to copy and paste this and paste it into Chachi PT and ask it to give me a prompt to create a similar image to this one. [music] You can do this by going on Pinterest and finding photos or taking bestsellers on
[15:23] Etsy and ask it to make you similar photos but with your product. So I've asked Chach to give me a prompt based off of this photo. I will go ahead and leave the exact prompt that I [music] use in the description below so you can
[15:36] or if you're creating the same product, it will work for you. And what it will do is give you the exact prompt to use. So, what I'm going to do is copy and paste [music] this prompt here and paste it here. Now, it's going to start
[15:50] creating this in just a moment. But important note down here, you can choose which actual method for your AI image. I do recommend Nano Banana because it's fast and versatile as it says and it is cheap and quick. [music] Okay. Also, one
[16:04] of my favorites if you are going to use a KD paid plan is Nano Banana Pro. I find the pictures come out a bit better, but I understand if you'd rather just do 10 AI credits versus 40, totally makes sense. So, let's go ahead and generate
[16:16] that. And this takes literally 15 seconds and watch what it creates for us. Okay, so as you can see, it did just make a mockup for us that's similar, and it does show the necklace on a person. Now, I'm going to go ahead and do this
[16:28] prompt, but I'm actually going to do it with Nano Banana Pro just to show you a bit of a difference that it can make. I do, like I said, prefer to use Nano Banana Pro. And you can also create multiple artboards and do multiple
[16:41] prompts at a time because KD works like that. So, you can actually give in a to take some of these prompts that I got earlier and just input them. So you can see [music] what I'm talking about here and we will wait and see what it creates
[16:54] for us. So I want you to see here the difference. So the top one is Nano Banana which is cheaper and faster and it is fine. However, the one below it is the Nano Banana Pro and as you can see this looks like a lot more of a
[17:07] realistic image and it's very similar to the image that we are trying to portray. So very beautiful here. I mean this looks like a real actual image versus think are fine, but if you want me to be fully honest, I do prefer using Nano
[17:21] Banana Pro. Here's another one here that it created for me based off of a prompt. I mean, look at this. Look at the shadows. This looks completely real. And check out this one. So, so beautiful. I absolutely love it. And it shows that
[17:33] the product's actually engraved. We did not have the technology to do this for engraving or embroidery even a few months ago. So, I'm just very excited can do, let's say you really like this image. I can go ahead and create a
[17:46] Smartboard if that [music] makes sense. So, I'm going to do add Smartboard. And I'm just going to say keep it the same, but smooth out the necklace because it looks a little bit rough and we want it to look high quality and smooth and it
[18:01] right, so check it out. It just smoothed it for us and now it's an actual smooth beautiful. I kind of like the rugged one better, but you can get the idea here of what it looks like. I just find this to be so cool. Okay. And you can get
[18:15] multiple prompts of these and just keep creating it. These are all of them for the one variant. If I wanted to, I could also use, as I said earlier, a Smartboard off of this to change the color. So, I can say make the necklace
[18:30] gold or silver, and it will actually do it for me. Check this out. It just took the same mockup and made it gold. And I can make one more Smartboard off of this. Make [music] it silver. So now I have a three image that I can put in
[18:45] Printify gave me just to showcase all three colors and download all of them. I'm going to click on it and push convert to image. This actually makes it an image versus it being a smartboard. And then what I'm going to do is resize
[18:59] this. So I'm just going to go over here again to transform and do 3000x 2250 just to make sure that it's the correct size. Okay, now we have all three of these and download them. So, I'm going to do quick export, export, quick
[19:15] export, export. We're going to go right over to Etsy and just drag and drop then just to preview it. So, this is what it looks like. Showcases those. And then our beautiful image shows up as well. Now, let's go ahead and add in
[19:28] some more of them. Kind of get the gist here. But I just find this so so cool. I this. It's fun cuz I've been doing print on demand for so long that when something is new and exciting like it honestly it's like a thrill to me. Like
[19:42] it's so cool that we can do this with AI. And one of these AI generated images is going to be my first thumbnail photo. So that's your primary photo. So I think followed by the other rose gold. And of course you can also order samples and
[19:56] don't want to ever discourage anyone from doing that. I find this to be just super helpful with the process. But as you can see, we already have our listing click preview one more time, it'll give us a listing preview and then further
[20:11] personalization again. They will see the option. So, I'm going to go ahead and just publish this listing. Okay, perfect. I'm actually going to change this first photo, but can do that off camera, not waste your time. This photo,
[20:23] I think, is stunning. I will leave the prompt for it below. Just keep going. Perfect. And then add personalization. They choose their color for the Check it out. As we saw before, their link is there. They paste it into their
[20:37] URL. Okay. Start personalizing. Let's say we want it to say my name. Okay, with it. This is their personalized save design. And then what they're going to do is hit copy code, go back over to Etsy, paste their personalization code,
[20:51] and I can't buy my own item. But once this is purchased, it will go over to Printify with this design already put onto it. You'll just have to review it and approve it. And that's pretty much it. We have our listing ready to go,
[21:05] which is so amazing. And on top of that, for your Etsy listing, because we have we can actually take these photos and market them on social media or on Pinterest to get extra clicks to our Etsy shop. I would love to put this
[21:19] exact photo on Pinterest with a link to my Etsy store. And yes, you have all the started. I will leave helpful, relevant tutorials below on Pinterest marketing leave the other personalization tutorial. I really hope this was
[21:33] listing these engraved products on your Etsy shop. Printify has so many more than just jewelry. There's things like cutting boards and different glass. So, highly recommend giving that a look and seeing what's available. They're always
[21:46] definitely something to take advantage of. So, Printify is linked in the watching. I hope that this was helpful. And if it was, go ahead and leave me a like or comment so that I know that it's helpful and to make more videos just
[21:59] channel. So, thank you so so much and happy selling. I hope to see you in the happy selling. I hope to see you in the next
