[00:00] Have you ever wanted to upload more videos to your YouTube channel but found it takes too long to write the script? Recently I was looking into YouTube automation and I realized that people are now using AI to instantly generate complete YouTube video scripts in a quick click of a button.

[00:15] Interesting, I always feel like if you create videos with AI they're nowhere near as good as if you would make them yourself or at least a human being would make them. So let's figure out if he's actually able to make good videos or it just kind of sucks. Yeah boy.

[00:27] To test this out, I've downloaded this AI script writing program, which I'm going to use to generate me a whole YouTube video script, and I'm going to film a complete video from that script, which I'll put at the end of this video.

[00:40] All of this to test whether those AI script writing programs are actually any good. Right, I have never used this AI program before, so first off I've got to figure out how it works. I'm giving myself just one hour.

[00:52] Interesting, so it seems like they've got a few different things here. you can do documents, but also see Amazon product description. That could be very useful if you've got Amazon business or if you're trying to start one of these Amazon affiliate channels here on YouTube.

[01:04] Look at how it works. I'm giving myself just one hour to generate this script and film the video using that script. So the one hour timer starts now. I guess I'm gonna have to go over to video here at the top

[01:17] if I want it to generate me a video script. So let's click on that. Cool, and it looks like there's a few YouTube stuff in this area so I can have it create a description for me, script outline, video titles.

[01:29] Interesting, so it seems like with this software you can kind of do any elements within YouTube. You've got the video description, you've got the video script for the introduction, that's good, the script outline, video titles and topic ideas. I still wonder if this is any

[01:42] good or no good. Oh, or even come up with some video topic ideas. Video topic ideas, brainstorming video topics that will engage viewers and rank well on YouTube. Let's have a look in this video topic idea area. I haven't actually got an idea about what I'm going to make a video on in this experiment.

[01:59] Let's see if this can help me come up with an idea for the video. Alright, I'm going to test out this generator for ideas for videos. Just to give it a test, I'll try it in a niche that I don't actually make videos for. So let's say ballet, I mean that's about right, dancing, I want to come up with ideas for videos.

[02:16] Alright, so it says keyword to rank for. Now, I fill a lot of search-based channels. I'm ranking hundreds of videos high in the YouTube search results, which then bring in most of my views on my channels where I don't show my face.

[02:28] So, let's say I've got a fairly decent idea of whether this is going to make sense or it doesn't make sense at all. So, I'm very, very curious to see. Ballet dancing. How about learning ballet dancing? And I want it to rank for the search term ballet.

[02:42] Let's hit generate at the bottom and see what ideas it comes up with. Three. So, straight away, we've got ideas for videos. what to wear to your first ballet class, how to do a plie, no idea what that is, the five positions of ballet,

[02:55] the basic bar work. No, this is pretty good. How did it go there? I mean, yeah, like, it's atrocious, but is it pretty good? I'm not sure. It's just, they're basically just downloading, extracting the search terms

[03:07] either from YouTube, Google, whatever. It's not like you cannot find it yourself using the formulas with the search board and I have, for example. However, I wouldn't say these will rank specifically for ballet as a search phrase or as a search term on YouTube.

[03:22] Because, for example, if people type in ballet and that's the only thing they type in, how to find the right school or teacher for you, that's not going to be good. Obviously, that's a bad one, but what to expect when you start ballet classes? Could rank, but probably not.

[03:35] Like, you'd have to make a very, very good video for it to rank. And as long as it ranks, just because of the keyword, it's going to rank because of your video's performance. So I wouldn't think in order to rank high in search, this stuff is going to be worth it. What to expect when you start ballet classes? that's pretty crazy

[03:48] it came up with 10 video ideas straight away and I was planning to find things that it did badly and point them out but to be honest that a pretty good list of ideas for videos if you make videos on ballet dancing cool well that worked surprisingly well um screw the example

[04:05] let's do an actual generation of ideas now for the video i'm going to film in this experiment so my youtube channel is about making money on youtube by selling products so let's see how it does

[04:19] coming up with ideas on that news. Keywords I want to rank for, let's go for YouTube, tone of voice. I would say you have to put in a different keyword because YouTube as a keyword is way too broad, like it's way too broad, way too much volume. You would put making money on YouTube

[04:36] as a keyword to rank for, is that targeted, it's easier to rank, yet you can then still rank and get views, right? If you're trying to rank for YouTube as a keyword, it's pretty, let's just say It's impossible because it is especially for a smaller channel. So I'm not sure why he's putting in one word only

[04:52] maybe that's the Idea but no because you get up to 80 characters So I'm going to put making money on YouTube as the keyword to rank for it. That would probably come up with more accurate stuff I'm going to write

[05:05] Educational because that's what my videos are normally like right we're running out of time. So let's generate Okay, so that's a little bit longer to generate this list on the topic of making money on YouTube I've had a quick look through the list and although the 10 video ideas are on the topic

[05:23] of YouTube, once again I think it works but it's so basic. You could just come up with this yourself if you just type in how to be one of the YouTubers, you'll probably find channels that have already uploaded dozens of these kind of videos. So I wouldn't say it's bad, I wouldn't say it's good either.

[05:38] Very few of them are actually about selling products on YouTube. You can see there's videos on how to make a successful channel, how to get views, what equipment to buy on YouTube. But when it comes to the topic of making money on YouTube by selling products, there's only

[05:51] two generated ideas of the ten that I've found that match what I was looking for. We've got this one here, how to make money on YouTube without ads. And there's this video here, creating a branded merchandise store.

[06:04] Although this video idea doesn't even have the word YouTube in the title. So if I named it, YouTubers wouldn't even know that it was for them. And it wouldn't rank for that keyword YouTube that I want it to rank for in the YouTube search results.

[06:17] So less impressive results this time around than when I did the first search on ballet but I mean I'm writing different ones. You just try and put in a long tail keyword for the keyword to rank for, not just one word and especially not a big term like YouTube.

[06:29] Oh sure. I've only got 50 minutes left now so I'm going to choose the one video idea that came up that met my criteria. The video idea was how to make money on YouTube without ads. So now I've got the title of my video, the idea for the video.

[06:43] I'm going to use this AI to generate me the whole script. I still don't think this is good because you're letting an AI decide your video. Obviously, he's just making this video as an experiment, which I understand.

[06:55] But if you were to do this for real, never just do a video topic because it showed up in some AI software. Always make sure to do research yourself. Figure out if it's a good video to make or not. and then you want to make the video but don't just oh it shows up in your eyes so far let me make the

[07:11] video no i'm not crying you're crying call that video and then the aim is to get that video filmed in the remaining 50 45 minutes i've got left in this hour-long experiment title for the video copied i'm now back in the video section i need a script so i can click on the script hook and

[07:27] introduction okay i want the stick outline i guess let's click on this so the title for the video is is how to make money on YouTube without ads. Turn the voice, let's just go for educational again. Cool, let's generate, I've not got the time,

[07:40] I don't know what three is, but let's generate it. Okay, couple of problems here. First off, it's not giving me a full script, it's just giving me seven sections that I can use for the video And also it not included anything specific about making money from YouTube without relying on ad revenue I was expecting Yeah because it literally says monetize your videos

[08:01] Now, monetizing is a broad term, so they don't specifically mean putting ads in your videos. However, they also don't make it clear what the alternative would be. So they're not saying, monetize it with brand new, monetize it with video marketing,

[08:13] sell your own digital products in the back end. They don't say any of that. So once again, it works like there is need a concept to all of this, but it's not really really what you need It's not really that quality that you want or that you're aiming for that will make it great

[08:28] It's just kind of mediocre stuff which kind of really results in nothing to be honest. Say, other than ad revenue you can make money by Selling t-shirts, by offering consultations, by doing brand deals

[08:42] all of these alternative revenue streams but it's not mentioned any of that stuff in this first result that's come back so let's quickly just generate a few more attempts at this and see if any of the following four attempts to try for now includes that type of content

[08:56] let's have a quick look okay this one here at the top talks about monetizing your videos with products using affiliate marketing this one is a bit more specific however once again this only kind of helps you out when you don't want to do the thinking yourself you just want some random

[09:10] stuff to come at you like oh yeah this was good let me make this still i wouldn't just take this one-on-one like oh yeah this is 100 accurate this is what i need and then do it i wouldn't do that i would still use this as inspiration or maybe ideas but i wouldn't do all the stuff that they

[09:26] just give me blindly which is a way to make money on youtube crowdfunding your project so a bit more on that this one talks about ad revenue only so that's not relevant and this one

[09:38] talks about ad revenue only. Okay so the three that came back only one is kind of on the mark, not perfect but we're running out of time so I'm going to use this top one here as the outline for this video. Well I need actual words written out for each of these sections not just the titles

[09:54] of the sections. So I'm going to have to try and find a part of the AI that I can generate actual paragraphs and not just section titles. Cool so I found this paragraph generator hopefully this can do what we want to do and I'm going to copy each section into that paragraph

[10:08] generator to try and get it to generate a paragraph for me. We're just a little bit choosing a niche for your YouTube channel. Okay so we have a paragraph generated. So this is interesting because now you're getting down to the

[10:22] script part. We're over a billion active users, YouTube's running those topics, blah blah blah. So this seems like it makes sense. Let's figure out. On the topic of choosing a YouTube niche. Let's see what this says quickly. With over a billion active users, YouTube is one of the most

[10:34] popular websites in the world. If you're thinking of starting a YouTube channel, it's important to choose a niche that you're passionate about. This will help you stand out from the crowd and build a lot of following. Cool, so it looks like I found a way to write. So once again, it kind of makes

[10:47] sense. Grammar-wise, all that stuff, it makes sense. Does it make for a great intro? I'm not sure. Flesh out paragraphs for each of those seven sections that the AI generated for me earlier. I'm going to finish generating the remaining six paragraphs now, putting that all into a script,

[11:03] and I'm going to go and film this video. The video that I make from this AI-generated script will play now. I'm not going to change any of the scripts, so give the video a watch to decide whether these AI script-writing programs are any good.

[11:19] And after the video finishes playing, I'll tell you my thoughts on the whole experience on whether I think AI script writing programs are worth using for YouTubers. With over a billion active users...

[11:31] Well, I can tell you it's not worth it. It depends on the level you want to play at. For example, if you're just fine with mediocre kind of videos and you just want to put some stuff out there in an easy way, this is perfect, this is for you. However, if you're trying to win and play the big league,

[11:45] you're not going to beat people like MrBeast, Eric, with like AI scripted videos It not going to work Do you think you can compete with the top of the top by some software that everyone can technically use and get the same results with or out of

[12:00] No, it's not going to work. If you use this, YouTube is one of the most popular websites in the world. If you're thinking of starting a YouTube channel, it's important to choose a niche that you're passionate about. This will help you stand out from the crowd and build a loyal following.

[12:15] When choosing a niche, it's also important to consider the size of the potential audience. A niche with a large audience is more likely to be profitable, but a niche with a small audience can be just as successful if it's properly targeted.

[12:29] Exactly, but you would have to sell stuff in the back end. This is actually what I'm doing. I'm making a lot of comments about YouTube automation, and I sell products in the back end, which is the search-based program. If you learn how you can build YouTube search-based channels that are very steady

[12:41] and can create a long-term income, check the link down below. You see what I did there? I just promoted my own product while reacting to a video that is talking about how to do so. You too. Once you've chosen a niche,

[12:54] the next step is to start creating engaging content that will appeal to your target audience. With hard work and dedication, you can turn your YouTube channel into a successful business. To create quality YouTube content,

[13:07] you need to understand what people want to watch. There are a few things to keep in mind when creating your content. First, make sure your videos are well produced and edited. This will make them more professional and polished, and viewers will be more likely

[13:23] to watch them all the way through. Second, focus on delivering valuable information that's interesting. Yeah, 100% right. I feel like this is more the generic stuff, everyone kind of knows that.

[13:36] However, he is still right. This is still how it works. do you really need to do like this I would say make it a bit more engaging like the stuff he's doing here definitely is accurate the things he's saying I feel like are good they make sense in terms of video creation part I

[13:50] would try and make it a bit more engaging with editing background music effects this and that the quality is good for him personally I feel like it's a bit too slow but that could just be me but hey mate if you're watching this I would try and improve the pacing of the video a bit more in total the video took

[14:05] me closer to an hour 15 to generate a script and film the complete video rather than the hour I was aiming for. Still, that's not bad because if you just do it yourself it would take much longer. Compared to the day at least it usually takes me to write YouTube video scripts, that one

[14:20] hour 15 is a massive speed up. In terms of the quality, I'm not sure. I would say try and figure out a way to create scripts faster by doing it yourself. For example, I used to freestyle videos where I would just show up, talk about a topic,

[14:33] I would make the video, done. Now that wouldn't be as good as a video if I was spending days scripting the video. However, I was going to put up more so the volume would be higher, more views, and there we go. That made money and I'm now outsourcing all of that stuff.

[14:45] So I would say try and grow pack or like try and hack the way you make the scripts so that you can do it yourself faster by not using AI or maybe a mix between both. The script that the AI generated, it was alright.

[14:57] The program seems to have surface level knowledge of the topic I was looking at. Yeah, you see that's what I just said as well. I don't think you can out-compete with the other people. For example, if I would put my time and knowledge into a script about YouTube automation,

[15:12] this software is not going to come up with a better video, simply because the software has no clue how it works. The software isn't doing YouTube automation. I'm doing it, I know how it works, got the channels, everything. So I'm going to be able to make a better script than a random software.

[15:25] ...make a video on. So it came back with topics kind of grounded in like surface level YouTube theory, so getting views on YouTube, basic ways for making money as a YouTuber, you know, mainstream ideas.

[15:38] All right, you get the point. It's simply not worth it if you want to play the big league. But if you do want to play the big league with third-day channels, click the link down below. If you want to watch more about YouTube automation, click the video right there, and I'll see you right here.
