But I didn't do my first Iron Man until I was 45. >> What about the older people? What would you say to inspire them to do this? Is it ever too late to start? >> Absolutely not. I didn't do my first Iron Man until I was 45. >> I think it's everyone's race. I mean, you can see the elites who are putting the time and energy into getting, you know, their sub four hours and medals and
awards, but then there's the average person. It's the beauty about triathlons. You look around and there's different body types and different ages and it runs the gamut and everybody's got that one aspiration and that's to cross a finish line. >> What got you into competing in the first place? >> I really enjoy swimming and I wanted to do something competitive for swim and triathlons was a way to do that and through that I discovered I used
to be a good runner. I ran Boston five times. I've run 24 marathons. It's definitely lifestyle. I'm part of a triathlon club. I'm actually the president of Tribe in Long Beach. >> Wow.
