[00:18] little guy. Basically, the what happened is that he just generally. That was one of the things I was worried about when I met the rescue that was was keeping him was worried about is that he wasn't gaining
[00:32] actually losing a tiny bit of weight, which is really not good for a kitten of that age, but he was otherwise doing all right. But yesterday morning, he just right. But yesterday morning, he just took a really bad turn. And the place
[00:45] available to take He needed a vet and they didn't have anyone that could take notice, which is why they called me. So, that's where I went was to go just give him a lift, basically. Spent the day out there
[00:58] kind of going back and forth and and checking on him, but he uh he didn't he didn't make it after after a while. Um we did spend a lot of the time that we were waiting with the other kitten
[01:14] that we were going to that we're we're going to um adopt. We got to spend a bunch of time with him. Um the brother. And he's doing really But we're going to have to work with them and find another I I'm
[01:28] still pretty committed to getting a second kitten with that first one to so together and have a partner in crime. Um sibling, but we'll find another kitten that's around
[01:42] his age um that hopefully he can get along with. and I'm really glad I went to go help be to be at a vet when things got really bad, so they were able to euthanize him
[01:55] without him having to suffer a lot. And I got to actually be there with him when they euthanized him, so he would I don't know if he knew me at all, but um I got to kind of stroke his little head. Um
[02:07] and be there for him. And cry in front of like nine people that I didn't know. It was a tough day. It was a hard It was a hard day. I'm glad we went, but woof. I feel a little silly for like sharing
[02:20] pictures and announcing the the two kittens so early when obviously this is one of the things that can happen. I probably could have saved had just held on to that for a bit. But I'm glad that people got to see how see
[02:32] how sweet he was. I think it's nice that he got a name. I think it's nice that he got a name. There's more, which is that the um they're so short-handed, for whatever reason, they decided to let us the
[02:46] shelter or the rescue that's working with the kittens um let us take the a sleepover. He's not ready to come home for good just yet. He still needs his neuter. Um but he has his shots now.
[02:59] Um he's getting big in a hurry. He's He's eating like the void. and they said he could come and have a sleepover and kind of get used to our sleepover and kind of get used to our house and our pets a little bit.
[03:26] that you guys met before. This one is Moose's friend. Moose loved him. Oh my god. I know, right? This Here he is. And little face.
[03:40] He's a little cranky cuz I woke him up. Um he's real sweet. He's the little diva. He's the chattier one. He will meep at you for any number of reasons, including I just woke up, I'm
[03:56] hungry, I want your attention, I missed you, Mwah. Let me see.
[04:08] you to meet my baby my baby Tuna. This one's named is Tuna. You're going to grow up and you're going to be the big kahuna tuna.
[04:22] This one doesn't mind Moose and he's the younger one. Mhm. He's real sweet.
[04:35] nap if I let him. New kitten smell. They both smell like really good. At least they smell good when they're not like needing to needing to go.
[04:48] Anybody have any any Tuna questions? I can't think of anything else to say. Oh, big yawn. Oh oh, I'm so sorry. Just I can't show him all that good cuz he just wants to cuddle.
[05:01] Tuna. Um this one is the younger one. He is 6 going on 7 weeks old, away from his mom, but I've been promised she doesn't she's done momming.
[05:13] them anymore and he's fully weaned, so he's on he's on food. He's doing okay. He's he's baby. He's a little illegally small still, but you're two. Um he's the crazier one, too. He's the
[05:26] one that's like when he's not sleepy, he just wants to play just wants to play constantly. Um and he's stage. So, he's at that age where kind of everything he sees is like an
[05:38] experiences such as with Moose. such as with Moose. Um he's met kids. He's met lots of older cats. Um we've done the car.
[05:51] I've done nails. I've started teeth, although you barely have any yet. What else are we doing? I got to get used to the harness, concept of it. Um I will have to bring him back for a
[06:05] night or two in May to cuz he's not neutered yet. Neither of them are. So, they've got a neuter appointment coming or they will have it once it gets booked So, I'll have to give him back for a night or two, but they're going to
[06:19] because I love them. And they live here now. Mhm. Yeah, they need lots of cuddles. Um but he's got another cat. He's got Another little kitty that he's living with and they snuggle
[06:35] with each other as well. So, they're they're bonding really nicely. I'm going to get the other one and I'm going to come introduce him, too. somewhere because the other one's not sure about you yet and I don't want to
[06:48] freak him out too much. Tuna likes you. Tuna thinks you're fun. This little guy is a little not sure cuz he's never been in this room before and he's uh he has not
[07:02] He's still He's still working on meeting Moose. He's a bit worried about him. is named Tiki. Hi. You can go up there. You can do anything you want except for Sekira yet. Hi, Tiki. I know.
[07:17] Uh Tuna and Tiki. He's really really sweet. Um Oh oh, I don't know if you can tell. He's a really really nice guy. He is um Tuna's cousin biologically.
[07:34] Their moms were sisters. He is a bit older. He is 13 weeks going on 14, so you're about 3 months old. I got you. I'm not going to let you fall.
[07:46] that we can do this without this guy getting all worried about it cuz he is not sure about Moose yet. Yeah, he's never been in this room. He's Oh, buddy. That's not the angle.
[07:59] that they're cousins. They're getting along really well. They love each other. Sir. Sir, do you want to come sit on my lap for a second? I got you. I got you.
[08:12] Um I wanted to get up two kittens. They didn't come like together as a and his brother, but his brother was not well. He was really small and he actually passed away a couple days ago. Um so, we then
[08:28] decided to pick out another kitten around another young kitten for Tuna to grow up with and we that's how we ended up with uh Tiki here. I'm really glad was still available cuz I'd met Tiki a couple of times
[08:43] and I was like, "There's no way that this cat is going to be available he's so cuddly." He's got a little a couple of behaviors that he's picked up from his young life cuz his his kittenhood wasn't
[08:58] super awesome. Um where are your eyes? You can't drink my coffee. You can't Uh what color are you guys? He's got greenish. They're coming through.
[09:12] Hi. Tuna and Tiki. Tuna and Tiki and then your auntie Kira. I am really hoping he has love him anyways cuz he's such a sweetheart. He's like purring and
[09:26] Let me see if I can get the slightly awkward, but valid Tiki angle. Um he's such a sweetheart. We're going to love him anyways, but his fur is much thinner than Tuna's.
[09:39] needs to catch up on nutrition a little bit. How many total do you have now? We're at three cats and a dog cuz I got
[09:51] these two kittens and then we've got like our normal We've got our um venerable, the honorable Miss Kira, yet. And then we have a dog. Great big dog.
[10:06] So I have four. And I'm going to say that's enough. Speaking as a new mom of two kittens, that's enough. Getting the two to keep each other occupied. That's what people always told
[10:19] me was if you're going to get a kitten and you can in any way afford it, get two. So that they can grow up together and they can keep each other occupied cuz they do a lot of cat education with each other. And yeah, having having them
[10:33] to play with each other is going to help take a lot of the energy heat off of Kira and off of us and off of Moose. And of course we're all still going to Oh my god. You going to come back up, baby?
[10:46] sorry. I put the dog outside so that you could have a little bit of stream time unconcerned because he is not happy with Moose. Yeah, it's getting better. He's making progress already, but he's just not sure cuz Moose is big and scary,
[11:01] not sure cuz Moose is big and scary, huh? He's so scary. kittens and the sound of his ears flapping guy. I don't know if a dog chased you or if
[11:16] you're just not sure because you're like a munchkin. But he's got little old man bit more filled in, but when I picked him up I swear to god he looked like Smeagol. He looked like Gollum. Crossed with Yoda.
[11:29] He had like the big big big eyes and just the tiny little skinny face and you wisdom. But you a cute little a cute little sweet name cuz you're such
[11:42] a cute little sweet guy. You can't tell me this isn't my baby. your I'm going to take you back to I can't I don't know what to call him his brother because they're like or his cousin.
[11:54] Your buddy. You guys can be brothers. You're adopted brothers. I'm going to miss you. But I got to let Moose back inside. I'm going to go I'm going to go put this guy back in jail. I'll be back.
