How Much Money Do Twitch Streamers Make - My First Payout

[00:01] you're just curious and want to know how much your favorite streamer makes either over exactly how much I made as a small streamer how much my most successful how to determine how much anyone is making on Twitch if you never heard of

[00:14] grow on Twitch recently my videos have been doing very well and I've been twitch related content hit that subscribe button if you want me to personally watch the end of this video where I will be discussing more first

[00:27] are a few different income streams that you have as a streamer but first let's payouts twitch payouts in itself has a few different income streams the most subscribe to someone on Twitch you get

[00:39] batch and more to subscribe it costs you 4.99 a month which twitch splits with subscribers a month you will make 500 however once twitch takes their cut you are left with 250 this leaves a lot of streamers distasteful with twitch

[00:53] split of revenant twitch is the host of your platform and will be driving a lot of the attention to your streams therefore for them to take 50 is okay in twitch you wouldn't have anything the argument is that you can stream on

[01:05] true none of them have the community reputation that twitch has and therefore supportive financially if you're getting a thousand subscribers a month on Twitch off of sub Revenue alone not to mention the other revenue streams this brings me

[01:19] through twitch payouts bits back in the old days twitch streamers used to put viewers to donate to them which is why twitch eventually launched bits bits and why streamers light up when they receive them twitch takes a cut on these as well

[01:33] and I'm not sure exactly if it's 50 as a streamer a bit is worth a penny so a streamer is 100 bits which is worth a dollar let's go over a real world random streamer I don't even necessarily

[01:45] know who he is we're gonna go over to their bits this is monthly top cheers a monthly leaderboard meaning all of these donations are what they've gotten these donations are what they've gotten this month 51 400 bits is worth 514 50

[01:58] 000 bits is worth five hundred dollars 250 120 a hundred a hundred plus fifty plus 50 plus 50 plus 50.

[02:12] seven hundred and eighty four dollars off of bits alone this month twitch tracking any streamer and seeing how many Subs that they have it doesn't really work for a lot of small streamers but it works for the majority of bigger

[02:26] has 2890 current Subs so 1784 let's remember that they have 2890 current Subs making at least 2.50

[02:38] cents per sub so that comes out to 7225 and then plus 1784 from bits at minimum this channel is making 9 000 a month from twitch payouts alone this doesn't even take into consideration ads which I'm sure this channel makes about

[02:52] the viewership that it has a couple of the revenue streams you could have as a streamers however they make a huge difference when you grow the size of your platform these revenue streams include merch brand deals and sponsored

[03:04] merch works but if not here's an example so Julia got 2609 subscribers in her first six months on Twitch which after twitch took their 50 of all the subscription revenue and left it with dollars so let's say she also sold that

[03:18] many t-shirts profiting nine dollars each that means she would make twenty one extra dollars on top of everything that she made from twitch payouts brand different and harder to predict income however once you're at that stage these

[03:31] example at the height of Aiden Ross gambling streams he was being paid 335 each for every stream if you don't know ethereum is a cryptocurrency that is associated with nfts and the crypto gambling space at the time ethereum was

[03:44] worth about 3 500 a piece meaning 335 ethereum per stream is over a million dollars per stream exactly one million 172 500. even today ethereum is worth significantly less but at today's going rate of 1600 this would still be a half

[03:58] a million dollars if Hayden Ross streams six days a week 24 a month that's almost alone and all of this doesn't take into consideration the revenue that he made difference between a brand deal and a sponsored stream is simple brand deals

[04:11] amount of months or years while sponsored streams are just a one-time ninja having a deal with Red Bull while a sponsored stream would be fortnite paying him to stream their game this is a very common practice with upcoming

[04:24] to mention before going over exactly how much I made on Twitch is contracts twitch will often sign big streamers similar to a record label just so they most well-known example of this is when ninja got signed by mixer for 50 million

[04:37] streaming platform that signed ninja to try to rival twitch I'll do it and ninja returned to Twitch I can't say tells me that ninja got to walk away while keeping that 50 million contracts

[04:49] rumored that Kai sanat the current number one streamer on the platform is smart they will realize he is a huge influencer for them and they will lock delay let me show you exactly how much I made on Twitch as you can see here I

[05:03] streamed for a little over three months in late 2019 and early 2020. I averaged 37 viewers in my entire career I got over 2 600 followers I got 220 subscriptions and I made 590 dollars you can see here the exact breakdown of the

[05:18] money 82.44 was made through paid Subs 29 through Prime Subs 399 dollars through gifted Subs 22 dollars in ads and fifty five dollars in cheering I starting from zero all the way up to everything that she's built during this

[05:33] time she averaged 42 viewers on Twitch she got almost 6 000 followers on Twitch she got over 2 600 subscribers she made over 8 100 in twitch Revenue she also peaked at 290 viewers you can see here all the exact breakdown of the analytics
