Manga Author Calls Police Over Death Threats from Western Fans and Says He Will Not Censor

[00:00] So, I have some really quick but insane

[00:01] news that I want to cover early this

[00:03] morning. So, there was a manga offer

[00:04] that is very famous that was receiving a

[00:07] lot of death threats. They are very well

[00:09] known for this on screen which as you

[00:11] can see is entirely blurred but they are

[00:13] an adult manga author and obviously they

[00:15] cater towards adult you know demographic

[00:18] and they started receiving a lot of like

[00:20] deaf frets and frets and stuff and all

[00:22] that for writing content that is meant

[00:24] for adults basically fanervice like

[00:27] content adult manga. And so the response

[00:30] that the offer had, which you would

[00:32] normally expect in this day and age,

[00:33] would either a to bend the knee, say

[00:36] sorry, vow to never do it again,

[00:38] different things like that. The offer

[00:39] decided to say, "Nah, screw you. Thanks

[00:42] to the messages, thanks to what you guys

[00:44] said, thanks to you guys trying to send

[00:45] me death threats and everything. I am

[00:47] going to go hard into my own

[00:50] satisfaction of what I want to write and

[00:51] to meet my own demands." basically the

[00:54] author of very infamous works straight

[00:56] up said I'm going to double down

[00:58] continue making problematic content just

[01:00] to piss you off and also for stuff I

[01:02] actually like and I'm going to say based

[01:05] I am so happy to see that such a like so

[01:08] many offers are really just standing up

[01:11] to just a lot of the mentally ill crowd

[01:13] that wants to cancel them see them gone

[01:16] erase them from existence I'm so happy

[01:18] to see so many studios offers and stuff

[01:21] really trying to hold their ground like

[01:22] I the recent stuff with Shift Up with

[01:24] its director or CEO technically of Shift

[01:26] Up for Stellar Blade and now this and

[01:28] then you have like the Mushiku Tensei

[01:29] offer and all that refuge. I I really

[01:32] just love how these offers are really

[01:34] holding their ground and not bending

[01:36] backwards kissing the boots of

[01:37] terminally online people. But uh one

[01:40] thing though I do want to you know kind

[01:41] of add in here before I wrap this video

[01:43] up is that apparently thanks to all the

[01:45] death threats and everything the offer

[01:47] has kind of given over all the

[01:49] information and stuff to the

[01:50] authorities. So, police are

[01:52] investigating the situation as well. So,

[01:54] uh for those that are sending threats

[01:56] and stuff to the offer in the mail and

[01:58] online and stuff, you're getting

[02:00] investigated. And obviously, this offer

[02:02] has a lot of money. So, yeah. Well, I'm

[02:04] curious to see where this one's going to

[02:06] go. But I'm just wild stuff, honestly.

[02:08] Like, absolutely crazy because like we

[02:11] we have so many stories that come out in

[02:13] this day and age to where an offer just

[02:15] gives up or just runs away. And you

[02:17] know, obviously when you get a lot of

[02:18] flack and a lot of issues, it makes

[02:20] sense to shut down your online accounts

[02:21] and stuff. I mean, I'm not putting the

[02:23] blame on anyone or victim blaming, but

[02:25] I'm glad to see an offer standing their

[02:26] ground and not giving a rat's ass about

[02:28] what people think and just basically

[02:30] saying it like it is. And I they're

[02:32] going to go even more pedal to the metal

[02:34] with problematic content. That That's

[02:36] incredible. So, uh yeah, I wanted to
