[00:00] Yo, bro. That is that is not the peace symbol. That is not the peace symbol. Like, look at this. Look at this. Look at this. Look at Roxy and how she leads it real quick soon as he moves his hand. Watch. Watch.
[00:12] Watch his hand. Watch his hand. You dude, the fact that in this moment Roxy leans in to look at the what his fingers are doing. You know for a fact she's thinking about what happened last
[00:26] night. I mean like straight up when he was full-blown stumping her, he assumes the position. That is not that is not a peace sign.
[00:39] And I want to point out why I'm even saying that. Look at Roxy. Literally in the middle of the animation, as soon as he does this, Roxy leans in to inspect. She leans in to inspect and she's like, "Wait a minute.
[00:54] when he was inspecting me, dude. Oh my goodness. Like, that is so subtle.
[01:08] That is actually fire. Like, I I'm not going to lie. Many people might not actually catch this, but whoever the animator was, they knew exactly what they were doing there. They knew 100% what this was. Like you're not telling
[01:24] me the intention of the animator when they did this and then you have Roxy lean in to inspect it like at this angle. But it doesn't just stop there. Like there is more credibility to why that was the intention of the scene.
[01:36] >> he talks about literally how he now since he has both hands, he can grab and fill his world with both of his wives. Like you literally see that. So this was
[01:48] literally his direct actions right after that hand movement. So it's just fundamentally obvious that if you are the animator of this scene, whoever entire hand gesture was and just the little things, man. It it it's the
[02:06] little things that really just make Mushiku Tensei so good. And obviously not in just the LWD way. I actually really want to show this scene that is legitimately amazing. Like uh let me find it here. Um it's this scene
[02:20] actually. Yeah. Right here where before he gets his hand, he tries to get up. It's like right here. Yeah. So, he's sitting on the ground and basically you back." And you could see briefly Rudy, he tries to get up here and you could
[02:37] see him struggle. Like it is such a beautifully subtly animated, handcrafted moment that has just amazing character acting because you can see in the brief animation moment Rudy when he's trying to get up off the ground, he can't as he
[02:52] used to because he's so used to pushing himself off the ground with his uh his left hand, but basically now that it's gone, he can't properly get up anymore. So he's having to rewire his entire brain to get used to pushing himself off
[03:05] the ground with his right hand. Like I said, it's very subtle and it's obvious moment is to basically restore Rudy's hand, give him a prosthetic, which we'll
[03:17] beautiful because it showcases kind of the difficulties of losing a limb. And this is something that obviously they didn't have to show. Like for instance,
[03:29] animators and stuff that did this episode, truth be told, they did not straight up got into the prosthetic. For instance, Cliff and Zenoba, you know, all that. We we heard you're having a hard time in bed with Roxy." So,
[03:45] basically, you you you have the entire situation where like they could have Rudy tries to get up. He's struggling to get adjusted with just having one limb.
[03:57] beautiful. And this really indicates just once again the care, love and passion that is poured into Musha Coutensei. It is not something that is like um you know just like a throwaway series. It's clear that Studio B and
[04:13] everyone that works on this project legitimately loves this series and they do want to give the best possible like attention to every detail that they possibly can because like I said, this is such a throwaway scene that so many
[04:26] It's just a little detail that really goes a long way. And I guess since we're kind of like the the genius in like invention that Zenoba and Cliff came up
[04:40] with. This entire invention is legitimately revolutionary. Like I I want to talk about this from like a like technological and scientific like advancement within the world of Mushiku
[04:53] Tensei. Okay? Like we really need to discuss this. The world of Mushku Tensei is medieval fantasy. It is basically a world where yeah, there's magic and stuff. You can kind of float and do some crazy stuff and all that with magic, but
[05:06] overall, you know, there is no prosthetics. Like you can't like if you lose a limb, that's basically it for the most part. There might be rare exceptions, but most of the time if you lose a leg, you lose an arm, that's
[05:18] that's it. And you know, there is no like prosthetics you put on yourself or been lost technology that is being rediscovered here that Zenoba and Cliff are trying to advance and progress with. But the point is is at least in the
[05:32] modern era with technology right now within like you know Mushkutensei with their technology there isn't something like this that can be spread around the nations and around the world. Basically what Senova and Cliff just created will
[05:44] revolutionize medical and revolutionize people that have disabilities. For and they fight like a a dangerous monster and let's just say they lose both of their legs. This technology theoretically could allow someone that
[05:59] no longer could walk to be able to walk again. This could cause people that lose their, you know, arms to be able to have arms once again. Obviously, this is a prototype. It's very early stages, but the overall genius like invention that
[06:12] this is will literally change the foundation of the world. It will advance not just magic but just medical science and technology and everything. It's an incredible invention and I feel like everything about this scene is just it
[06:26] needs to really be hammered in how much this changes everything like from a scientific perspective. If something like this was invented like let's just life or whatever. Obviously magic doesn't exist. We're really pushing the
[06:40] boundaries here. But like if you're able to have a proper 100% prosthetic and it can be exactly like your hand, you can feel everything. You can cast magic, everything. It would be national news. Everybody will be discussing it on every
[06:55] single news channel because it is fundamentally life-changing. So, this right here is just an incredible piece of work that I think in general really just goes to showcase not just how lucky Rudy is, but also just how intelligent
[07:08] his peers are, how intelligent Cliff and how intelligent Zenoba is at what they do. That they are not characters that are just background characters that are meant to be over like um overshadowed. Like for instance, Rudy always takes a
[07:21] spotlight from them. This episode concretes a very important aspect of Musha Coutinsi that I think is simply beautiful. And the thing that stays the most consistent to the very end of the story, and that is the fact that Rudy
[07:33] might be the MC of the story, but he's not always the best. He's not always the one that has to do everything. He's not the one that always has to be the one to do something and get something done. His friends around him equally are very
[07:47] important that help improve upon Rudy's life and everyone else's life within the thing, his adventures in, you know, the desert, trying to save his mother, and
[07:59] obviously losing his father, and then losing his hand, gaining Roxy, you had Cliff and Zenoba. They were continuously working on stuff to be able to help out Rudy. It showcases that the world is not static. The world is not um just
[08:13] motionless, that everything is paused until Rudy gets back. The world progresses. And I know this seems very obvious and very simple to do, but a lot of authors, a lot of writers and stories, they just don't get this right.
[08:26] off to journey something, everything else where they left is just pause little bit, maybe depending on how long it's been, but nothing relatively crazy
[08:39] happens. But the fact something like this happened is just such a good utilization of like a offscreen time skip, but also showing that the of Rudy. It's beautiful. I I I simply love details like this. Like there's so
[08:55] character acting, revolutionizing technology and medical science and magic itself. It is just such a great scene and I feel like honestly this episode is
[09:09] truly the embodiment of what makes Mushiku Tensei so great is because it has every single little aspect that I love from these type of stories because it expands upon the world building, the magic and everything what magic is even
[09:23] capable of. I mean like if you can create a prosthetic hand like that, potentially possible. We saw what they c captured, but it's like they can
[09:35] potentially recreate that in something even more on a mass scale. Like imagine spitballing. They could theoretically, if they had enough time and enough labor giant like how's moving castle basically with this type of technology depending
[09:53] on the mana source and everything. What I'm trying to say is is that there is so much um possibilities that have been opened up with this that it makes you is when a story especially a fantasy story succeeds. When you are thinking
[10:10] about possibilities on what could be and what could not be that's when you know the writer has really made an engaging story that makes you wonder what is going to happen next. And that is why I fundamentally, like I keep saying, I
[10:22] love MT because it has so much good going on. It has a great world, has great characters, it has, you know, a flawed characters. I mean, Rudy's a very problems, but that's what makes it so interesting. And I want to use a very
[10:37] good example from another like series actually. Um, I want to talk about My Hero Endeavor. If you have watched or read My Hero Academia, regardless if you hate it or not, I think most people can agree with this depending on if you're
[10:50] uh terminally online and have think everything's problematic. But basically, Endeavor. Endeavor is a very flawed character. He's not a good quote unquote good person, but he's a very engaging and fascinating character. Honestly,
[11:05] more so than Deku. And the reason for that is because he has a lot of flaws. where it's a more engaging story. And in this case, that's what I think MT does
[11:18] so well is that a lot of these characters are very flawed. They have they don't overcome them. But I think that's what makes the story so fun. And this is just such a fundamentally great episode. Now, another few little
[11:34] details. I love this scene real quick where Rudy's just popping off with his magic, showcasing he can channel magic through the prosthetic hand. I think this also not just demonstrates his capabilities as a mage, but also once
[11:48] again the prosthetic hand. I mean, to be able to channel magic through a prototype like this is absolutely freaking wild. Like, it is because like if you can make something like this, you theoretically can make armor. Like,
[12:02] something. Think of like a full body mech suit. You you could theoretically make armor out of something like that. Like you just you like put things plates
[12:14] all over your bodies like on your body and then like you you hyperju it up with magic to make it like more dense and stuff and potentially more durable. You could be a literal tank. Like there is a lot of possibilities with the
[12:26] prosthetic. It is a natural evolution that I think everybody would come to in terms of just the application of the prosthetic hand. It can be used for body Rudy theoretically, he could change out his prosthetic hand for different type
[12:41] of things. Like, I mean, imagine someone that doesn't want a hand back, okay, but hand and channel magic through it. And depending on what type of magic, they might be able to superheat it, freeze it, electrify it. You get the point. you
[12:55] could do some crazy stuff theoretically with a prosthetic hand or tool or gadget that you put on yourself. So yeah, it's just awesome. It's I'm sorry. I just I I know I'm glazing MT, but I love this series, man. It's just so good. Now,
[13:10] much. And that was right there. I love the fact that at the beginning of the show, it reminds you exactly what type of series this is. This is a hickey.
[13:24] Now, once again, I think everybody knows this. It's not really subtle, but I think this really showcases the maturity and the uh the adult-like nature of MT that it's not a series that is your standard, you know, reincarnated story
[13:39] that tries to skirt over these type of themes. There's so many stories that are just outright scared to show stuff like this, scared to show any form of sexual content to this extent, maybe kissing, handholding, and stuff, but MT is just
[13:53] very raw. The best example I can really compare it with. It is the anime everything good about Game of Thrones. All the good stuff about Game of Thrones, basically why people like it and engage with it, I think is why MT is
[14:08] a medieval fantasy. It feels like an adult story. It doesn't feel like it uh is trying to u more or less act like you can't understand things or mature
[14:20] themes. I appreciate that. But also, I think it comes down to Refujian as well, that's what he cares about. But yeah, there's a lot here to take away from this episode. Rudy's return, everybody talking with him again, him announcing
[14:35] Roxy's wife to everyone, seeing Cliff and Zenoba again. I I miss this trio, dude. I really miss them. They are such a phenomenal trio. Uh we got a little cute little Aisha scene. very chaotic gremlin like nature of her. And I I
[14:56] missed I missed this. I dude, it's so good to be able to talk about this series again. It is so fun. That's Thunder if you're heard. That's not you. But um yeah. Oh, by the way, this ending song. Holy [ __ ]
[15:13] Holy [ __ ] bro. This ending song is crazy. The amount of spotlight this ending got for Aerys, I can't really talk about it because it's spoilers, but my god, they are
[15:28] really going on or going off popping off with Aerys this season. They they you could tell the people that work on MT Aerys is like their favorite. Like you you could tell like you could straight up tell that Aerys is their main
[15:42] favorite. I'm not saying that's a bad thing. It just you could tell like when Aerys is on screen or when Aerys has any form of spotlight, the art animation just goes up 10 times. Like it's it's crazy. But um yeah, I mean I there's
[15:57] little details I could potentially talk about, but it's just the main focus is the hand and the return and all that and the maturity of the story. It's just it's nice, man. I will leave it at that, though. If you enjoy my content, please
[16:09] subscribe. It does help me out a lot. Be safe, stay healthy. GBL.
