I Sold My House to Buy Crypto — Here's My Strategy
40sA creator admitting he sold his house and put his entire life savings into crypto is shockingly controversial and instantly draws strong reactions.
▶ Play Clip"Honest title and substance — he really is bleeding and doubling down — but the thesis is long on conviction and short on hard data."
The creator reviews his $10,000 to $1 million altcoin portfolio, which has fallen from a peak of over $30,000 to roughly $15,000 during the recent sell-off. Despite the drawdown, he remains extremely bullish on altcoins for 2026, citing macro tailwinds like rate cuts, stimulus, and changing altcoin risk perception. He explains his one portfolio change — swapping Geonet for the tiny AI-infrastructure token Infra — and updates on holdings like AVO, ResearchHub, SFG, and Winter.
The $10k-to-$1M experiment is down from its all-time high, and analysts have turned bearish. Despite this, the creator is not selling a single token and is doubling down because he believes 2026 is the real bull run year.
US consumer sentiment on current conditions fell to 50.4, lower than COVID, 2008, 9/11, and Black Monday. The creator argues this forces Republicans to pump the economy to win midterms.
2025 was front-loaded pain (tariffs, geopolitics, policy mayhem). 2026 already has three rate cuts, end of QT, balance-sheet expansion, tariff reductions, and stimulus checks, plus more rate cuts and a market structure bill.
ETFs, altcoin ETFs, and institutional on-ramps mean crypto captures more liquidity. Regulation and Wall Street adoption lower altcoin risk perception, so future alt seasons could ignite with less froth.
The creator expected alt season in late 2025, but missed the step-up in Treasury issuance, the longest government shutdown, and October's biggest liquidation event, which flipped four-year-cycle believers into sellers.
After peaking above $30,000 (a 3x), the portfolio sits around $15,000. AVO and the newly added Infra are holding it up.
Geonet was removed because it was too high in market cap for a $10k-to-$1M goal. It was replaced by Infra, a $1.9M market-cap AI-infrastructure project from a single, extremely fast developer.
AVO launched the Magnificent Meteora index with Meteora, Paperhead spoke at Met Dubai, and a public developer API is coming.
ResearchHub is a top conviction play because co-founder Brian Armstrong gives it the most memetic narrative; RSC outperforms every time alts do well.
Winter is the biggest loser in the portfolio. The creator is paused — not selling, but waiting to see a market turnaround before adding more capital.
The creator's core message is conviction: he trusts the macro picture pointing to a 2026 bull run and is willing to wait out the pain, while acknowledging he could be wrong and will admit it if he is.

18:39[00:01] of months has been bleeding. The $10,000 that I put in my $10,000 to1 million that I put in my $10,000 to1 million experiment back in July is down quite a bit from all-time high. And every single analyst, influencer, etc. who is calling
[00:14] for a year-end blowoff top back in July has now gone completely silent or has flipped completely bearish. But despite all of this, not only am I not selling a single token, but I've been doubling down. And obviously, I've been one of
[00:27] the few people that's been insanely bullish throughout this entire period when conditions have not been favorable and when everything's been selling off. And that's because I genuinely believe that 2026 is going to be the bull run
[00:40] year that everyone thought 2025 would be. If I didn't genuinely believe that, I would be selling right now. I have my entire life savings in in crypto, in altcoins, in the things that I talk about. Every dime that I have is
[00:54] invested. I sold my house and invested it in crypto. And I understand it's easy you're just biased because you have so much money at stake and so, you know, the way down to the bottom. I understand that thought process. That's exactly
[01:07] what I did in 2017. I kept like living in this denial world where I was like, to go higher." But it kept going lower and lower. I've lived through that pain. I've experienced it before. And I promise you, I never want to experience
[01:20] horrific. Which is why I'm insanely paranoid. I spend every single week looking at every possible like little angle that I could be wrong to try to disprove my thesis because I want to know if I'm wrong. And I'm happy to
[01:34] admit, hey guys, I was an idiot. I I was wrong. It's time to sell. And you know, that's just that the the show's over. But no matter how many times I dissect this problem and come at this thing from different angles, I always reach the
[01:46] same conclusion. And that is 2026 is going to be insanely bullish. And there is just no other way to look at it. And I'm going to dive into that a little bit what I'm going to be talking about is my 10,000 to 1 million portfolio. This is
[02:00] like a Christmas bonus episode. I almost wasn't even going to record an episode Christmas. I'm going to be highlighting what's happened with my 10,000 to 1 what's happened with my 10,000 to 1 million portfolio since July. The tokens
[02:12] I still have in it because I I've actually made one change, just one, uh, but I've changed one token out and replaced it with another token. So, and just overall diving into these projects and kind of my current thoughts
[02:25] around these projects going into 2026. Again, spoiler alert, I am insanely ones. I know everyone's like, "Ah, four year cycle it's going to everything's they're wrong because there is a mountain of evidence on one side of this
[02:40] equation when you look at the macro big picture that points to 2026 being ridiculously higher and there is a tiny amount of evidence in favor of the mean when it comes to the mountain of evidence, check this out. This is a post
[02:54] I made on X where I said there's only one path for Trump to win midterms, pour gasoline on the economy, and pump it as hot as he possibly can. And that's in response to this post which says the US consumer sentiment assessment of current
[03:06] economic conditions has declined to 50.4 points the lowest record on level the shows a chart of US sentiment on current economic conditions. You can see it's literally lower than COVID than the 2008
[03:21] literally lower than COVID than the 2008 uh great financial crisis than 9/11 than Black Monday. Like it is abysmally low which points to the fact that there's one path for Republicans to win and that's that they have to run the economy
[03:35] They lose if they don't fix this problem. And then here's another post that I made where I laid out really simply. 2025 has been brutal. It was front-loaded pain in every single way. From tariffs to geopolitical tensions to
[03:48] policy mayhem and everything in between. 2026 is structurally the opposite. They much gasoline on the fire as they can. It's not even 2026 and we've already gotten three rate cuts. QT is over. Balance sheet expansion aka QE light
[04:05] tariff reductions and stim checks light which if you didn't see that Trump Trump is sending out semi checks in 2025 to US soldiers. Trump and Bessant can't stop talking about how 2026 will be a huge economic boom all the things they're
[04:18] going to do etc. They have switched playbooks to midterms mode. They understand the assignment. Next year we have the market structure bill ESLR more rate cuts coming. At the time that I posted this, there was a 75% odds that
[04:30] we get the second batch of STEMI checks going out to the the wider base of Americans next year uh around summer and more. My point is it's 2025 and they've printer. We've gone from a tightening cycle, we're heading into an easing
[04:44] cycle, we're heading into an easing cycle and 2026 has incentives, real, very real incentives for why more liquidity should be injected, not less. and kind of a fire lit under the butts of the politicians for that money
[04:58] printing to speed up, for credit to get looser, for more stimulus and all the kind of easing that we like to see when it comes to pushing asset prices higher. And historically, when it comes to alts specifically, alts require very specific
[05:12] conditions to do well. And those conditions are extreme froth because alts are the last child to eat. They live the furthest out on the risk spectrum. Okay? So, they need an extreme amount of froth. They need liquidity
[05:24] just bursting at the seams. They need the economy running hot. That is what's typical of alts. But a lot of things have changed since previous alt seasons. For one, we've gotten a ridiculous amount of liquidity onramps into crypto
[05:37] via the ETFs uh via the coming altcoin ETFs. We we already have some of those environment for those to accelerate because as basically since late August been weak. That's turning around right now. We have all these institutional
[05:51] products and institutional on-ramps coming online because Wall Street has decided that crypto is the next frontier and they want to shill it as hard as possible. That does a couple things. For one, that just means when liquidity goes
[06:04] up in proportion, crypto's liquidity is going to go up more than we've seen in past cycles because it has new on-ramps into the space. meaning you don't need as much liquidity as 2021 to potentially get 2021 like results because the pipes
[06:19] into crypto are bigger and stronger meaning more of that flows gets caught by crypto. The second thing is and this is speculative but it that doesn't mean is speculative but it that doesn't mean it's not true altcoins in the past again
[06:31] were the furthest out on the risk curve because the perceived risk of altcoins were they were the absolute wild west of investing. However, that is rapidly changing. We have this market structure bill coming in early next year uh that
[06:44] that is primarily focused on altcoins. We have the SEC making you know all these loosening of regulations primarily for altcoins. We have Wall Street analysts and you know Wall Street big shots going on the news every single day
[06:58] talking about how tokenization and altcoins etc are the future of finance. That changes the perception of risk when it comes to altcoins. That means all coins go from all these are crazy hyper risky things that are completely
[07:12] you know maximal degens when we have to these are legitimate investment products and actually the future of finance itself. That means future alt seasons may not require the extreme
[07:25] level of froth that we've seen in the past. And that means uh if we do get future that altcoins potentially will benefit even more because they have less on the risk curve. Anyway, my point is I'm extremely bullish on altcoins. I
[07:40] think alt season's coming in 2026. I know I know I said alt season was coming in 2025 and I was wrong. Okay, just flat out. I'm not going to pretend like I I wasn't wrong about that. I thought alt season would ignite late 2025 in
[07:54] October. Uh as believers in the four-year cycle said, "Oh my gosh, you we're going to have a parabolic runup." And so it'd be like a self-fulfilling prophecy. I knew about the TGA. I knew that was going to make things rough in
[08:06] September and August and I talked about that well in advance. What I didn't things. I didn't anticipate the step up in issuance. I missed that. I didn't anticipate that we would have this, you know, the longest government shutdown in
[08:19] history. And I obviously didn't anticipate the biggest liquidation event in history happening in early October as kind of a convergence of all these completely flipped the script where the four-year cycle was in our favor at that
[08:32] where when we had that big liquidation event, it flipped all those four year cycle believers from buyers into sellers and and turned the formula on its head. And so that was a huge huge miscalculation on my part where I just
[08:45] doesn't change the overall bigger picture of where things were headed. It going. It says, "Hey, you know, now we have to work our way through these four-ear cycle sellers. Now, we have to get to a point where the four-year cycle
[08:58] no longer believe in the four year cycle. That means basically until 2026 uh that can't happen because we need to see an all-time high happen at some nail in the coffin. That proves, oh my gosh, four year cycle is dead. People
[09:12] can believe again and then that kind of lets people's imaginations go off to the for. So, yeah, I was wrong about alt season in 2025, but that doesn't mean I was necessarily wrong about the bigger picture. For sure. I could be like I
[09:25] can't predict the future. As I say all the time, I am no wizard. So, for sure, I could be wrong about 2026, too. Um I I could just be an absolute idiot. But actually a really convincing and compelling case for why all coins
[09:37] actually are going to do extremely well in 2026 potentially and why we could see an insane alt season in 2026. And as for me personally, I still think the odds heavily favor that. And I still think I have a real shot at taking my $10,000
[09:50] portfolio and turning it into over a million dollars. Now, last time I updated on my $10,000 to a million portfolio, I'd gone from $10,000 to $20,000 to I I believe at its height it was over $30,000. I I 3xed my portfolio,
[10:05] which was absolutely insane. However, since then, it's come down quite a bit to where today it's sitting at around $15,000. The vast majority of like what's held it up is one new entrance, one new token that I added to the
[10:18] portfolio and AVO. Those two things have held it up pretty well. Um, some of the decimated during the sell-off along with, you know, the vast majority of last couple months. And as I mentioned, I actually removed one token from the
[10:34] 10,000 to 1 million portfolio. The token that I ended up removing from the portfolio was Geonet. Uh, and it had nothing to do with Geonet itself. I still hold Geonet in my wider portfolio and I think it's a great play. However,
[10:47] it's was just a little bit too big at the time of a token uh to have in a way you could turn $10,000 into a million dollars is by taking the absolute maximum risk. And uh you know, GeoNet was kind of a like a mid-tier
[11:01] risk play. It was it was already pretty big in market cap. I didn't see it going like absol, you know, super insane. And so I decided it was better to trade that one out for a much smaller, much riskier token. So that's why I ended up removing
[11:15] that one. The token I replaced Geode with is Infra. And I've talked about Infra in a couple videos. It's been during this bare market stage, so not a this has become one of my like top tier conviction projects. Like I'm insanely
[11:28] bullish on this project. I know people don't necessarily care right now. Like I don't have to like rush off and be like, "Oh my gosh, he just talked about it. I need to go buy it." Or anything like that. Like this is nobody's almost
[11:40] this video in the middle of the bare market. That's just how people are. I'm during the bare market because you know I genuinely believe in like you know back and be like that's crazy that you talked about it back then when it was
[11:54] I can flex on you guys later and be like see I called it sort of also it's just so people could like hey you know people get mad at me u when it was the you know when prices were down and uh this is me doing that
[12:09] even though even though nobody ever buys when prices are down. Infra is an AI focused crypto product. It's from a single developer who is just the most goatated stacked developer I think I've ever met in the crypto space. They're
[12:23] They're from the AI world. They came into crypto as like an experiment. They kind of got hooked and they've been building non-stop ever since. This token currently today is tiny sitting at 1.9 million in market cap. A lot of what
[12:36] they're building is infrastructure for crypto AI, AI agents, etc. And it's infra. So it's it's not necessarily like meant to be consumerf facing. It's not meant to be a product for like us as investors. This is meant to be backend
[12:48] or stuff like that. It's meant to be backend or Ethereum uh back-end infrastructure for developers to build on top of. And their tagline is One platform for all your AI infrastructure needs. Access to 100 plus
[13:03] AI models, store vector embeddings, and builds rag applications all from a transparent pricing. And they have their AI deep research agent. They have their new uh infra search API. This is a genuine real product built for like
[13:16] actual performance and usage. This isn't like an you know we're going to build something crazy. This guy comes from like the Y actually trying to build a real startup and product here. He's not used to like
[13:31] is like have a you know cool website and be like you know AI you know let's pump obviously, like I said, extremely small project today. 647 uh followers. They selloff. So that's all they've ever known. They have multiple different
[13:47] products that have have been built uh including Moo Shield. So the first recoverable transfer system on Salana. Uh and as you hear these products, think of it from the perspective of AI agents. Like everything they're building is like
[13:59] they're saying, "Hey, that exists, but it's not built for AI agent trading. This isn't built for like like real AI agents, not like um you know, not not like you know chat bots on on X, but like imagine agents actually doing stuff
[14:13] And and that's a lot of the things that they're thinking through. They built a new exchange to compete with Jupiter. Uh so it's called Uranus Exchange. It's a you don't if you never use Jupiter on Salana, basically it looks at all the
[14:28] different liquidity pools and finds you the cheapest possible execution. Uranus works the same way, but it has uh even cheaper rates, even lower fees. Again, this probably comes from the perspective of them wanting to do something and
[14:40] what they wanted to do. So, they built their literally built their own they're doing is just like solving their own problems. They they'll run into a they'll just build out that thing. And what really amazes me is the speed at
[14:55] how quick they've built out these like think about how long it took to build crypto products. And like this this guy's cranking out the same products in like an afternoon, which is astounding. And here's paperhead, the lead dev at
[15:08] AVO, saying in Infredex dev is cracked. More to come on infra plus AO. So, you post from them. Tiny update, massive leverage. Gemini 3 flash, latest from Google DeepMind is now live powering a wave of upcoming infra products. Plus,
[15:22] the best GDM models available today. Pricing is, you know, they lay out the introducing infra chat developer preview and AI assistant that can search the web and read URLs in real time powered by Gemini 3.0 search ingest blah blah blah.
[15:35] Why build this? Most search APIs are expensive. You know, 25 to whatever uh breaks constantly. AI agents need reliable structured web data. And just building things. They keep launching
[15:48] the last month than like a lot of crypto projects have launched in the last like two years. It is actually absurd how fast and outcracked this dev is. And I don't even know what he's going to build. I don't know what the end result
[16:02] build and you know what this will end up becoming but I just believe so much in this dev that I think this especially sitting at 1.9 million in market cap this project is massively massively undervalued and I have taken up a pretty
[16:16] massive uh position in it because it's just it's really rare and hard to find a dev of this caliber in the crypto space and usually when you do like big things come with that project. So this is why I ended up adding this to the 10,000 to 1
[16:29] million portfolio. Um, it already has done really well for me. Uh, because I added this back a couple months ago. It's gone up a little bit since then when I originally got in, but it's still sitting at a tiny 1.9 million in market
[16:41] course of, you know, however long it takes for the market to turn around, but to make in you with these asymmetric bets trying to turn $10,000 into a million, which is, you know, arguably a ridiculously hard thing to do. Second up
[16:56] is AVO. People keep asking me, are you still bullish on AVO? and it's so so bullish on AVO. I just haven't talked as much about it because I've been talking a lot more about the market and macro, etc. Uh, but since we last checked on
[17:09] have a little bit of a better layout. It's a lot easier to access like what just launched a new index, the Magnificent Meteora index, which they did in partnership with Meteora, which was pretty cool. That's currently two
[17:23] indexes that they have live. This is what I'm most bullish about when it comes to AO is continuing to launch these indexes. Paper was at Met Dubai. He met with a lot of different projects. I I believe he even gave a talk on AI
[17:36] agents which is pretty cool. Yep, here's the talk. So, here's Paper talking about AO at Met Dubai. And he's also just continued to ship new feature after new feature after new feature, including an upcoming developer API public launch,
[17:49] which will allow any developer to basically build on top of what AO is doing. uh which kind of opens up the platform to all sorts of like other new continue to be extremely bullish about AVO, what they're building going into
[18:02] brand new project. Infra is a brand new project. They're just getting started that it's been a horrible horrible market state. But what we do know especially about well both of them to to be honest like AVO when the market was
[18:14] amount and it only started to turn around once the market started to tank. But it held up really really well uh considering how much the market has tanked. Infra despite the market tanking the entire time has done exceptionally
[18:26] well going up while most projects were going down which I think this bodess really well for for both these projects can if we go into a bull run scenario like what I believe will happen in 2026. After that is research hub and between
[18:39] AVO infra and research hub RSC these are like probably my three top most bullish tokens uh considering how small they are and how much room they have to grow. As Armstrong is the co-founder of Researchhub. That is what gets me
[18:53] bullish. DIY was an extremely hot narrative when tokens were taking off. Um, every time for the past couple years, every single time alts do well, RSC outperforms. It does exceptionally well. Uh, it has not been doing well
[19:06] have not been doing well. But every which tells me if we have an alt season, if I'm right about that, RSC will do exceptional. which is why it remains one of my top high like you no matter what
[19:20] Armstrong is the co-founder that is the most mimemetic powerful narrative that I can imagine and if if you threw it in the middle of 2021 or 2017 or 2013 or or whatever this token would have been astronomical in my opinion in its
[19:35] the top of my list. There's a lot of cool stuff that they've been building and scientific funding and all that kind of stuff. I'm not going to get into it in this video, but yeah, it remains one of my top highest conviction plays.
[19:47] Every time there's a dip, I I I load in a little bit into RSC. After that is dang well. Uh it it took a lot of flack cuz it went all the way when the game came out. It went like super high. Uh but for what in terms of like what we've
[20:00] talking about it since it was like I don't know like super low, a million mark cap, maybe under, I don't remember, but it's somewhere down there. Um so they have another game they're working on, Jaile.f fun. Um I think they're
[20:14] until the market's doing better, which is smart. That's what I would do as well. Uh and so yeah, I'm still bullish on them. Still excited about what add there. After that is Una. Una has come down quite a bit from uh its high
[20:29] uh down to basically a new Oh, it's just matching it old low or whatever. Um that's kind of normal. Una has very low liquidity right here. And so that means like when it's bullish, it goes up crazy high. When it's bearish, it comes down
[20:42] of a normal market movement. Even though it's so extreme, the the extreme comes liquidity. And obviously, this just it's happened multiple times. This is not a building. They're still doing cool stuff. Um yeah, nothing really to add
[20:57] there. After that is SFG. This one has been doing miserably, miserably poor. been doing miserably, miserably poor. Um, and you know, I guess that kind of does make sense. Crypto gaming in a nonbull market is like the most hated
[21:13] among the most hated of like sectors. And this is like not even a well-known crypto game. This is like on the fringe of crypto game. This like even in crypto gaming world, this is far out on the on the risk curve. Uh, but my entire
[21:26] it's from the creator of Magic the Gathering, so if you had an all season, it would do well. I still stand behind that. I just don't in the without an guess, is what I'm saying. No alt season, this thing is does abysmally
[21:41] poor. With an allseason, this thing does great. Um, and so it's a it's a really high contrast to like higher risk than like RSC where I feel like RSC just kind going to it's kind of anchored by Brian Armstrong as the co-founder. Some of
[21:54] they could build their way out of that. AO, they could build their way out of that. I don't know that. I mean, maybe they could build a way out of it, but it'd take like years and some just top tier building. Um, where that's not
[22:07] really the point of this play. The point of this play is, you know, co-founder of uh, you know, the creator of Magic the Gathering and All Season. So, I don't know. I I'm not happy with the performance of this token. I don't like
[22:20] that. And um, but yeah, I guess I guess it does make sense. Last up is winter. it does make sense. Last up is winter. And um of the batch, this is definitely been the worst performer of all time. Um I have lost so much money on this token.
[22:34] It is crazy actually how much money I've lost on this token. This is probably my biggest loser of all time is this token at this point. I'm still bullish on the concept and the idea behind what they're trying to build. I am just now I'm
[22:49] getting a little bit worn considering how long it's been and just the the price performance of this project. I think at the moment I'm more on a little bit of a pause like I I want to see the market turn around and I want to see how
[23:01] around. Previous market turns around turnarounds it hasn't done that well and I don't like that. Um that is actually usually a a very bad sign. Like you want when the market turns around like they do phenomenal. Um, winner doesn't and I
[23:18] don't like that. And um, I'm not selling I'm not selling any winner. Uh, but I'm not necessarily buying right now either because I need to see something from I before I can commit more capital. And, you know, maybe that's not a fair shake.
[23:32] Maybe this is a token just like SFG that really needs an all season. And that could be true. Uh this, you know, I I would imagine this token would probably do really well back in 2021, but that's just because 2021 had a very low bar and
[23:46] this would have vastly exceeded that bar, you know, for most for what most have had progress like they've had, you know, real betting volume, um real revenue, stuff like that. So, uh I don't
[23:59] I don't know. I I want to love it and I still am a believer, but I also got to has been horrendous. Anyway, that's it. There's links to all these projects uh description of this video. I'm still bullish. I still think I'm going to win
[24:12] going into 2026. So, right now, I'm being patient. Uh but I'm but I'm being consistent. I I'm bullish. I've remained bullish. I have stayed bullish. Uh so, maybe late 2026, you'll look back and be like, "Man, that guy really was an
