First Month Sales Numbers

The lot sold nine cars (one short of the 10 goal) with a total profit of $15,889.63, averaging $1,869.33 per car—beating the $1,500 per-car target.

[40:33]

[00:02] are running this thing so you do have the administrative stuff to do on top of wanted to sit down with you at the end of this video since it is the end of the I've been keeping track >> ready

[00:15] sales. We're doing pretty good on the car sales. We're we're at nine cars. Our goal is 10, but we're doing pretty good as far as the average profit for a car. So I think I think we're in the green. I I think we are.

[00:29] >> Let's sit down. We need to talk. >> Welcome to Hooies Garage, the dumbest automotive channel in all of YouTube. In July 2026 was a huge month for me. In addition to losing the car wizard and moving away forever, I started up a new

[00:42] business, the Hoop Dot and the YouTube channel with it. And I also turned 40 month, we're in our first month of operations and I'm going to recap the the first time. I'm going to crunch all the numbers and see how much money I

[00:56] lost or made. But one thing's for sure, I am going to sell a few more cars, I am selling one of them on the Hooptilot. But as for this one, my Hooptilot. But as for this one, my 40,000mi Cadillac Escalade EXT, the holy

[01:09] grail of luxury pickup trucks in my opinion, an avalanche in a tuxedo, I'm going to give it away to one of you at phantom.com/hoviesgar. Link below. a mug or a keychain enters you for a chance to win this truck,

[01:21] which we'll cover more on later because also Danielson and the Hooptil Lot are now that we're getting through a backlog of all of the Hoopilot cars that we selling them. And Gigi doing amazing job selling them. But before we head up

[01:35] there, actually yesterday I was at the auctions, which is very important for me to buy new inventory for the hoopt. And I cleaned up. I got I got a lot a lot of cars. So let's go back to yesterday. Yes, I'm starting to settle back into a

[01:48] means every Wednesday morning I am up at dawn to go to the hooptie auctions and there is a lot today. Um, unfortunately though, I'm going on about 3 hours of sleep because I drove the 760 cross country back from Ed Bullans to home and

[02:02] So, I'm I'm really in the right frame of mind as far as the right amount of sleep to make large purchase decisions. When I told Daniel that, hey, he jumped in his what could go wrong, right? >> Well, we'll see. We just started. So,

[02:17] >> so this is the Walzer Lane, which is the luxury Highline dealer in town, including Mercedes. And this is what really caught my eye, at least in really caught my eye, at least in photos. But in person, darn it, 2002,

[02:31] last year, the 210 body style, E320 wagon, 210,000 mi. But >> We got >> We've got We've got rust. We've got >> Oh, yeah. And this is the era of Mercedes where the paint bonding was a

[02:45] major issue. And also the uh strut towers, they they can just break paint? >> Oh, it's disgusting inside, too. >> Yeah. And this is our favorite. You're

[02:59] the auction, you know. This is >> Oh, sorry. Sorry. Sorry. I didn't want >> you know. And we're too matchy matchy with our OBD, but you have the red today. I'm wearing the the gray of the, you know, check engine light scanners.

[03:11] So, go ahead and pop the hood. These are pretty robust drivetrains, but unfortunately, not robust in the shock tower situation, but this one, this one looks okay. This one though, they kind of hidden under

[03:27] this air filter box, but you can see. Okay. So, structurally, it's not compromised. But you are right, Daniel. So, whoever had this parked in the garage, every single day they open their door into

[03:42] this car. Every single day. >> Wow. >> Wow. >> For years. >> Want it? >> It's a wagon.

[03:59] because it's a wagon. >> Yeah. Not us. Well, come on, baby. Oh, yeah. Purr's like a kitten, Daniel. >> Oh, there we go.

[04:15] >> It didn't stumble at all. >> No, not at all. >> You think the AC works? >> No, the AC does not work. The The alarming part is it's stumbling like that with no check engine

[04:28] stumbling like that with no check engine light. >> Oh my. >> All right. >> Yeah, the no AC part's not fun. >> All right. I I should walk away.

[04:43] and keep going. >> No, no, no, no, no, no. It's a It's a Oh, the power the power steering's out. >> Yeah, just let's just leave it here. >> Okay. All right. Yeah. We're We'll go to the test drive track.

[04:58] We have enough projects for you, I guess. And cosmetically, it is extremely challenged. All right, I should take my necklace off so it doesn't bounce on the uh little microphone here. What a shame. I was

[05:11] very excited about this one. But this next to it is really hoopy lot. Like this is exactly what we need. 2010 Silverado, 192,000 mi with some cosmetic

[05:23] Silverado, 192,000 mi with some cosmetic challenges. But on a cheap truck, nobody cares. Like they just they just want a cheap truck to go down the road as long as it's not just completely destroyed with rust, which this one has flares on

[05:35] with rust, which this one has flares on it, which is a good way to hide things. it, which is a good way to hide things. Yeah, it's there, but it's not >> That's normal. >> It's not awful. Yeah,

[05:48] up. >> Yeah. Now, before we do that, are we sail? Put like nine stock wheels and then lose track. >> That's right. We had that Ford F-150, the stick, the V6 that that we didn't

[06:01] tires. So, we we found some on marketplace. >> It ruined the sale cuz they wanted the the ugly aftermarket wheels. Uh-oh. aftermarket key that has to hit in the

[06:16] aftermarket key that has to hit in the right spot. There's a hole in the dash. >> That's a big There we go. Yeah. So, whoever made that key did not uh didn't >> All right. >> Oh,

[06:29] >> runs good. >> Sounds pretty good.

[06:41] made it easy to install as far as, you know, just putting a giant hole in it. >> They get the wires from the back. >> Yeah, exactly. >> They cleaned it up for us. >> It is nicely detailed. But actually,

[06:53] >> It is nicely detailed. But actually, Daniel, look at this 4.8 L V8. >> Same engineer's truck. And you don't have to worry about the uh lifters and things on the 48. H. >> So, this is a good one right here. The

[07:08] fun part of this is the test drive track, the dragstrip, if you will. A car you just met that's been traded in for definitely a reason. You get to do a/4 mile blast. It's insane. A lot of auctions. So, I've

[07:23] been going back. It's been over 10 years uh since I've gone to a lot of Anaheims and they've gotten rid of their test tracks and instead they want you to pay for inspections. So then they have their in-house mechanics do post sale

[07:35] inspections and uh then they guarantee the car. You you get a little warranty. So they they basically make you unnecessary, but it does mean more fees know they have it, but a lot of cars like this are sold on a red light. So

[07:51] like this are sold on a red light. So anyway, here we go.

[08:05] wheelel drive, but it's not a work truck cuz it has carpet. So, And there was some air conditioned air coming through just naturally wafting

[08:19] through with, you know, >> Yeah, I can feel air flow. So, we don't have to fix the blower. >> Yeah. Which is very common. >> This This This is one. This >> We'll lift our leg on this one.

[08:32] use the handy dandy scanner and this gives us a lot of information. So, it says average wholesale value at 149 to 3675 in the new car lane, especially in the fancy dealership new Carl Lane, that is

[08:46] not going to happen. It says with the mileage adjust down to 2,475, it's going to sell for a lot more than that. I'm willing to pay more for it, even with the rust being covered up by the fender flares. It's a It's a pretty

[08:59] nice truck. So, we'll see what this one brings. But really, I don't have very much luck in the new car lanes because people go so crazy to buy a car from, you know, Porsche, Witchaw, Mercedes of Witchaw, basically. We have a lot we

[09:11] have a lot more luck with the repos usually than the new car lanes. there. >> But we still got to look like >> Yeah. Yeah, I took a picture. I scanned the thing. But this like this is kind of

[09:25] pointless for us. Like Euro Asian Bob is going to show up. 54,000 mi 2012 E350 going to show up. 54,000 mi 2012 E350 convertible. That's nice. Like there's >> No. >> No. No. But this is sort of what we need

[09:44] >> Okay. >> Every single cheap truck, but GG sells >> Every single cheap truck, but GG sells them as soon as you can fix them. So,

[09:57] And they left their McDonald's coffee in here. This is super deja vu. No power locks. This is the exact same spec as the 07 we have at the Hoopily lot. Just very low miles. Oh, that sounds

[10:12] >> That sounds great. >> There's there's uh there's acorns in there, isn't it? >> Here's one on our list. Long wheelbase. >> Here's one on our list. Long wheelbase. Yukon XL.

[10:33] >> Ticking a little bit. >> M a little bit. Oh yeah. >> M a little bit. Oh yeah. 182.

[10:47] car store trade in. It is clean. dual TVs. 2017 with 182 on the clock. TVs. 2017 with 182 on the clock. That key is uh missing its skin, but I imagine it's still doing the job since it started with the the keyless go.

[11:02] There's Daniel in the V6 work truck. And here I am in the 62 Denali. here I am in the 62 Denali. Man, he's on it.

[11:14] But, uh, things seem to get up and go. Okay. So did this one. Not hearing any weird noises. These 62s are kind of infamous for their problems, but this one may have been taken care of. It seems okay. It's not definitely not

[11:28] abused. A little up there in the miles, and that's the only reason seems like it might be possible for uh us to buy. So, we'll see what Daniel thinks of that work truck, which is the one we really need. But this thing's this thing's

[11:40] nice. $7,500 average wholesale value. to this site. They have a billion of these going through every month. So, recent transactions, it gives you an average based on that. You hear that?

[11:55] >> It's It's Yeah, that lifter is starting to >> Wow. >> Which I mean, you don't mind doing, but I don't think it's bad enough yet for someone to notice to where the money

[12:09] >> pretty high. It is. It is really, really nice. And we'll see. She has a broken windshield. The suspension clunks and some O2 sensor faults. >> Oh, so no misfires like the one I drove up and ruined.

[12:21] >> So, that's an improvement. And it's red, which gets more attention. So, we'll put >> Yeah. This one's This one's good. But we got to get at the right price, though. >> Everything got hailed on a couple months ago in Wit, unfortunately. But this is

[12:34] really sad here. This is the last of the big Cadillacs, the XTS. And there's no more fulls size Cadillac sedan after these. But this one, the air suspension's collapsed. It is hammered golf ball. 186,000 mi,

[12:50] >> And not too bad on the interior. >> I mean, the inter Well, some >> not great, but >> it's it smells like smoke. Yeah. So, it's it's it's abused. Shoot. Now, the nice thing about this

[13:04] auction is they do inspections before to warn us of certain things like the frame. So, this truck would be perfect for us. 105,000 mi Chevy Colorado. Look at the paint. Very, very nice. The interior really nice. I mean, this is

[13:18] interior really nice. I mean, this is exactly what we need. But, but the frame, they note this this little rust bubble here. You wouldn't expect it, but then underneath it is falling. Look at this.

[13:32] It is totaled. >> And they showed one part where pieces >> like right there. >> Yeah. >> Sheesh. >> Yep. One pothole or a little jump and

[13:44] then this thing is is smoked >> scrap metal. ready truck. >> Dude, they really cleaned it up. Were >> Well, yeah. That's why there's an announcement warning frame on this one

[13:59] with a condition report. But yeah, so this one this one is an ogo for the hoopy lot. Oh jeez. Yeah, I liked this 2015 SRX until I got inside and it was a little dirty, but then I went and looked at the sun shade. Oh dear. This is This

[14:17] at the sun shade. Oh dear. This is This is supposed to be up there. want to fix, Daniel. Right. All right. Here's a 2009. Bald tires,

[14:30] All right. Here's a 2009. Bald tires, completely hailed out, and yeah, it's another I think shocks. >> Okay, but this one's a four-wheel drive, so that's a big upgrade. It makes it a lot more desirable. Um, all the wet

[14:43] farts in the seat do not make it desirable, unfortunately. I'm I'm going desirable, unfortunately. I'm I'm going to sit in it. Here we go. and that's probably not a 48 like that. Yeah, there we go. No lights. That's

[14:58] Yeah, there we go. No lights. That's good. >> yep, this looks good. >> Okay, let's put her in four high and >> Okay, let's put her in four high and make sure that binds up here.

[15:11] make sure that binds up here. >> Yep. Okay, so that's working. >> Yeah. >> You can buy the stickers for these, >> We have them. >> Yep. and the uh yeah, we can't fix the

[15:26] cigarette burns and we'll see how much of the wet fart comes out. But this is of the wet fart comes out. But this is this is something Newton, Kansas. working on is our poker face. So if there's anybody around, we can't say,

[15:40] amazing." We have to have a code word of like, "This thing is total absolute is falling out, or you know, the the lifter is about to fall into the combustion chamber. That kind of stuff. So, we we have to we need to work on on

[15:53] >> Well, I still remember that one where you would shake the car back and forth slop." And I'm like, "What the heck are you talking about?" to discourage someone. But the ones we do need to talk up are our own hoopties,

[16:06] Daniel, because we have three here, >> but only two are selling because one got massively vandalized. I I don't understand. It ran a couple weeks ago

[16:18] and from what I can gather, I I didn't take someone's offer. That was about a $1,500 loss because the Nissan Armada is very nice. Just a little bit of piston hit yet because it could last another 100,000 miles. Like, we could sell it.

[16:31] And uh I guess that made them angry and they went and they just decided to go stabbed it with a pin over and over again. Ruined the pristine interior. And to the auctions credit, they're fixing it for us. But we do have two. And

[16:45] here's our offerings. Definitely not rejects. These are just too nice for us. They need to go somewhere else cuz they're just so so nice. But the 2014 Titan 210,000 mi with just a bit a bit of smoke out of the exhaust. Just a bit.

[16:57] But honestly, Daniel, I do think this is fixable. I don't think it's terminal compression to see. So, that's another reason why I'm not just willing to dump this thing for like a multi,000 loss. But, I bought it for like a little over

[17:09] three grand. It's a crew cab four-wheel drive that's not rusty. And the fact that it's run through once and not gotten more than 2 grand, it's kind of okay. But I don't know. What do you think?

[17:22] >> Um I don't mind trying again. You know, we didn't really put that much time into So we kind of >> But now that things are going a little spending a little bit more time. >> I mean, I'll take a $5, $700 loss, but

[17:36] but not $1,500. So that's that's where that's where I'm at. We'll give it one more shot. But then this one was a tradein on our very nice 100 Ford Escape and it's hailed out. It's dirty. The brakes were on their way out. But the

[17:50] there's a there's a little transmission shutter that that's why it was dumped. Just a little one. So >> no it doesn't perfectly fine. >> Well, yeah. But uh 173,000 mi. So just basically a trade in dump. Whatever we

[18:03] get basically over $1,000, we'll we'll be happy. means. >> Oh, yeah. Nice design. Nice golf ball. Nice Euro engine Bob. Okay. He's He's

[18:17] >> Yeah. Really? >> Yeah. It's a manual. >> Well, I tell you, you're really on a roll with these aerodynamically modified hail damage. >> They are. It is hammered. Wow.

[18:30] pastures on my list. >> Okay. Yep. He That's nice cuz he doesn't want hoopies. He buys like really >> look here. Look here, buddy. that one. >> Okay,

[18:44] >> this is another repo that is on our list, but pretty pointless as far as the Toyota Tundra, these V8s. This one a bank repo. 2017 with 138,000 mi. And it's it's actually pretty nice. It is rock chipped all over, but no hail for

[19:01] once. And inside, once again, a lot of wet farts, but it's not gross.

[19:14] Okay, that sounds good. Unfortunately, it also smells like wet farts, but yeah, interesting stain pattern there. But this one is a green light ride and drive because these things just never break. So, you're buying it based on condition.

[19:28] But I have a feeling it's going to be pretty much impossible to buy. Yeah, we knew, Bob. We We saw this thing and we knew there was no point cuz you were >> There's no point. It's all It's all yours. It looks pretty nice.

[19:41] >> And the walls are lane early. It's going to be It's going to be MSRP. >> She drives great. >> Okay. >> She's got TBMS light on, but that seems to be like a norm for our cars right

[19:54] >> I guess. So, all right. 11 118,000 miles, so pretty low. It's just just completely golf bowled out. That's the thing. Lookie here. 2019 Raptor. So, this is an EcoBoost where they have the the rattly stuff with the

[20:10] turbo problems, but pretty clean underneath. Yeah. Wide body. But these can still bring a lot of money. This one isn't the cleanest either. 159,000 mi. Cold air though.

[20:25] either. 159,000 mi. Cold air though. very much prefer the older 62 Raptors, It's just going to be really expensive for the hooptail lot and then at 159,000 mi, it's harder to finance. So, I always wonder like who's the in buyer of a car

[20:39] and it just seems like this is a very narrow market uh for a Raptor, auction where a lot of people go crazy for Raptors.

[22:35] Oh, Daniel, I got the bell of the ball here. A Tundra, 240,000 mi for 1,500 bucks. I mean, a Japanese V8 truck for 1,500 bucks. I mean, there's a little >> Now, the crazy thing is this is not our first time trying to get this.

[22:49] >> No. Now, the thing is, we bid higher last week and they wouldn't sell it. And then they turned it loose this week and you know, the interior isn't that bad. you know, the interior isn't that bad. It had cold air. It drove really nice.

[23:03] Runs good. >> Yeah. Yes. This is This is exactly what the hoopot needs is stuff like this. Oh my god. I'm >> This one's ready to go.

[23:17] people don't mind beater trucks. Maybe you get that a little in there better. >> It's in there. It's in there. >> But yes, course, these things are just totally invincible. We didn't find anything

[23:31] was just all cosmetics as far as the wheels losing their finish, the paint, the dents, but it's not rusty, dude. Dude. All right. Well, there's still some more on our list, but we're

[23:45] worried in the beginning cuz we were one away on so many other Newton Farm >> we we we lost a few trucks. >> We did.

[24:08] I I I like what we got this Wrangler. That is so cool. The frowny face, man transmission, Pennar, and you said drove good. No problems. you know, it has a few details, you know, that

[24:23] these Jeeps, but >> look at the interior. This is This is a >> So, Stormtrooper. >> Okay. All right. Two to go. Daniel has ran ahead to the next auction because their test drive is close in about an

[24:37] I'm sticking around because we do have the two that we are trying to sell. Here is my Armada. They do have it fixed. They wanted me to look at it as far as after the stabbing incident. So, they'll give us a good spot to run next week.

[24:50] okay. And then touched up that seat, which it looks a lot better, but it was so nice before. So, it is definitely a shame, but we'll see what that tradein does as far as the Ford Edge. We have very low expectations. And then the

[25:03] Titan, I'll give it one more shot. But if I'm if I'm losing more than 500 700 fixed cuz it's smoking, but it may not be a compression like a rings or or a valve issue. It It could be more with the PCB system or, you know, even if it

[25:17] is valve seals, we can fix it and and make some money. It's It's like this BMW with its valve seals that's been running for for 6 weeks. to this auction with no for for 6 weeks. to this auction with no takers. Poor thing.

[25:59] cuz they're not motivated to sell it. Obviously, they don't want to put their prime spots on cars that are rerun. So no bids even at two grand on the Titan. We're going to bring it back and fix it. But that Edge, hey, 2,300 bucks. And

[26:12] didn't want to bid it because it had so many issues. But we told them whatever it brought at auction that we would just give them the money rather than bid it just lowball them. So they're going to be very very pleased with that 2300

[26:24] going to head to the next auction. I kind of got to rush over there. But is this a bad omen when the BMW badge flies off your 760? So at this auction they action, but we can walk through the cars real quick. That MDX is on the list and

[26:37] this truck I'm going to be fighting people for it. Beautiful teal 3/4tonon 454. But uh going down the road, there's there's not much else. The only other thing Asian Bob said he's going to pay way more than I want to on this Lexus.

[26:50] An LS460,000 mi, but the brakes are almost gone to the floor, screaming that the brakes are gone. So, it's it's kind of a mess, but it actually would clean up. But I can't believe the estimated retail on this

[27:02] thing with 130,000 mi is still 14,000 bucks. What? going to be even more than what Bob is willing to pay for these things. So, we'll see. I think there's a minivan in here to look and then I'm pretty much

[27:17] wholesale lots to bid that you just go to the car lot itself and bid on their And then we'll see how much I actually end up with. So, it's the next day and now we're on our way up to the Hoopty Lot. After that last auction, I just

[27:31] collapsed and went to sleep. But, I got four cars there. So, a total of six for really, really good. And some nice stuff. That Teal 454 truck. You knew I was bringing that home no matter what. So, you know, it was expensive, but not

[27:45] cheap Toyota Camry, which is impossible to get. A Fiat 500 for really cheap, which is understandable. And then a Lexus IS-250. That was pretty nice. So, six total is exactly what we need because the Hooptilot is pretty low as

[27:58] far as cars ready to go. They're all outside here. A total of seven. a Prius, outside here. A total of seven. a Prius, Reneer, Jag XJR, Mercedes S550, one of the Acadias, a Jeep Wrangler, modern body style, and then my personal

[28:13] favorite is here at the end. We got to take a look at this thing. It's unlike this Escalade. This is a hoopy riptide blue or Bermuda blue with GMC and blue or Bermuda blue with GMC and Chevrolet, a Yukon Denali XL of 220,000

[28:26] miles. And ain't she a be? I mean, actually, it's not rusty. It's It's really not that bad. Cold air goes down the road great. It just shows how robust live. But, you know, this side we've got some paint peeling. And then the

[28:41] and sell it cheap and dirty cuz it does drive really good. And I imagine if we that shows up is going to use it as a hunting rig or something, you know, just as a beater and isn't going to care that it's all detailed out. So, we'll sell it

[28:53] way. And then if we go through and start restoring this thing, I guess we'll start raising the price appropriately. But h this thing is gorgeous. But this thing 41,42

[29:06] mi and it is really really something driving this thing up here as far as the time capsule quality of this thing. Everything's so tight compared to the 180,000 mi one or the 220,000 mi Denali.

[29:19] And the leather, unlike my 18,000 mi one, this one's never been touched up. one, this one's never been touched up. So, it's just it's so ridiculously clean because this was up in Minnesota, not getting blasted in the heat in Texas or

[29:31] California or whatever where there's a lot of sun beaten down on it. But, this was someone's vacation home car, so it's not all rusty underneath either cuz it wasn't a daily driver. But, we do have that issue. Sometimes there is a service

[29:44] ride control light. It pops up down here, but it's intermittent, which a lot air ride pops in the back, it throws that code and then something goes wrong. But since it's intermittent, it might be it might be something else. Danielson,

[29:58] >> Oh, pretty good. A very productive auction day yesterday, huh? >> Yeah, we we picked up a few nice cars. >> Yes, we are in the groove now, but uh now you can work on some of my other cars, I suppose. My neglected hoopty

[30:11] >> Is this the nice one? Th >> This is the nice one with 40,000 miles. museum piece. >> I know. I know. And I can't believe I'm giving it. Well, I I need to get some of these cars out of here. And this one, I

[30:24] cuz people get really excited about it. So, hopefully we do get a lot of pretty good as far as winning one of these. So, >> are you sure you want to give it away? >> I've already committed to it. So, yes,

[30:36] we are going to give this thing away. 41,000 miles. The issue though is the service ride control light. So, this this rear air ride, we've done it a few times before where the airbags aren't blown on this thing. They're not

[30:48] leaking, but it's still giving me a ride control warning. So, I'm curious if you >> yeah, >> otherwise it's, here. >> How do you keep finding these?

[31:03] >> I Well, people know that I'm an Escalade weirdo, so yeah, it's find because this is the second one of these mint uh trucks I found in in a

[31:15] dozen years or so. So, is this the last one? But the thing is, I love my and I actually daily drive that uses a scared. I mean, you could use it as a daily driver. It'd be amazing. It's

[31:28] >> But then you'd be known as the guy who >> I guess. So, but hopefully whoever wins this thing really appreciates it and beat it into the ground because you just

[31:40] anymore. So, it is linked below fan.com/uvies garage. They handle I think this is the 10th one. So, it's a it's a good one for number 10 as far as the coolest one I have done yet. And you get a pearl white

[31:53] the white Diamond tri coat with the side saddles. And all this folds down like a transformer like an avalanche to where Oh, there's some Liam stuff in here. But you can fold all this and have a full eight foot truck bed. So

[32:06] that wall comes down. The glass actually comes in here. And uh it's it's it's a French fries. Just >> you just knock that over. first time a kid's ever been in the back seat. And of course, French fries get

[32:21] showing this. I'm not I'm not showing this. Anyway, fan.com/hooies codes? >> Yeah. Let's go get it. believe it is >> Yes. >> Left rear solenoid circuit malfunction.

[32:37] So that's the left side shock. I guess the intelligent part of it is >> Oh, the electronic part. Yeah. >> So it's aging out, I guess, which would make sense for it being over 20 years old. So yeah, the winner is getting new

[32:50] just one. We'll do the pair, which >> now it is possible that it might be >> A lot of stuff back there. So I might just before I just condemn them. I'm see if that fixes the issue, but more than likely it's going to need new ones.

[33:04] >> Okay. Well, you can you can diagnose further, but uh either way, it is going to be sorted out. And someone will win this Escalade by the end of August. It's a very short period of time. So, enter link below fan.com/coobies.

[33:17] if you want to enter to win and then buy one, I have six. So, I am getting rid of one more. I'm selling this one on the hoopty lot. My 2011 Escalade with 69,000 mi. not the truck version, but it is also ridiculously clean and heated and

[33:32] that stuff. And Daniel's son just put new front shocks on this one, the Mag >> Yeah, we were able to replace them. Um, they are expensive. They're expensive >> Yeah, I needed to pay for some things. So, actually, the Escalade hybrid had

[33:47] the same problem. The shocks were blown out even worse. 142,000 mi. Uh, so it the same day for the same part at the same time. And then I decided, yeah, I going to bring more money and rock the hybrid that has sort of a reputation for

[34:00] >> yeah, >> the hybrid's also a platinum. We did a out soon on the Hooptilot YouTube channel, which I am adding as a collaborator to this video, so you can subscribe to both by clicking below. But

[34:12] I see you've been inspecting. So, how are the new purchases, Daniel, son? to take a look at it. So, >> yeah. So, you don't know yet? Well, I take a look at it right now. >> All right. How's the Jeep?

[34:26] >> Well, the Jeep is uh pretty much perfect other than some cosmetic issues, like >> Yeah, we knew that when we were getting into it, but interesting. It's a repo from another dealership. Their finance company seized the car. So, it does look

[34:38] recon this thing to make it nice. So, mechanically, that reflects what we saw. engine lights or anything. It drives well. The clutch is fine cuz it is a >> Yeah, that is cool. All right. So, we're going to push the dents and touch it up.

[34:52] And then she's ready for the lot with that 2018 out there. Yeah. Jeep cars we have on our lots as far as what we paid for them. So, we have two of them now. So, maybe we're the Jeep people, I guess. Really, what I want are

[35:06] cheap trucks like this because we sell I mean GG sells them as soon as they are put out a lot. They are gone like that. So, to get this thing for 1,500 bucks, >> Incredible deal. Even though it is I see it's a two wheel drive. Obviously we

[35:20] knew that before. But it's interesting how they just block that off with a cap Same hub. >> Yes. Yeah, pretty much. It's how you save money. >> Yeah. So, Wow. You haven't looked this

[35:32] >> No, I I just started. So, you can see 1,500 bucks and it's dry as a bone. It's on the drain plug, which is not a big deal at all. >> And uh this is not bad at all. >> 240,000 miles on it. Not rusty either,

[35:47] which is gonna be a big thing with Toyotas. They don't like rust as far as, you know, just falling apart. But yeah, everything is really nice under here. >> Yeah, the frame is solid. Uh, it does have a little bit of a leak here on the

[36:00] it's so easy to fix. I don't even count that as a problem. Oh, little bit. you can get. Yep. >> So, that's that's our leak and it is

[36:13] active. Huh. >> Yes, we we we need to take care of that. But that's pretty easy to take care of. It's not, you know, dropping a a pan or or anything. This is probably an hour and that's it.

[36:25] and that's it. >> Okay. And then fuel tank and rear axle. Solid on these things. Leaf spring. Very old school and pretty invincible. This >> Yeah. No leaky brakes either. >> Yep. And they have a they have a little

[36:38] is? >> Uh that's for the proportioning valve loaded down a lot, then you don't want the brakes to well, it' be too touchy if it were loaded down level. So, that's cool. All right. I did good.

[36:52] >> I did good on the Jeep. I did good on that. We have four more coming up to that. We have four more coming up to inspect, but turns out I don't suck at >> Well, I'll give you this one, you know, but there is one car down there that I

[37:05] don't that I said that I didn't want and you still bought it. >> The Lexus IS-250. It was just too cheap. It's It's I get that somebody had glued it. >> It was too It was It's It was too cheap.

[37:18] Anyway, we'll see. I guess we'll make a Hoopy Lot video on it because I kind of opened it up, you looked at things for a second, then walked away and I overruled you. So, we'll So, we'll see if I >> pay the price for that one. Huh. We are

[37:31] partners in this thing and uh you are running this thing. So, you do have the administrative stuff to do on top of your mechanic duties. So, that's why I of this video since it is the end of the month and go over our expenses because

[37:44] >> ready. >> I've been keeping track of the car sales. We're doing pretty good on the car sales. We're we're at nine cars. Our goal is 10, but we're doing pretty good as far as the average profit for a car.

[37:56] So, I think I think we're in the green. I I think we are. >> Let's sit down. We need to talk. >> So many glorious hoopties in here. And Daniel's son has taken over the wizard's office and he is he is shopping. You

[38:10] know what to do in here. All right. >> Well, you know, I have to start looking expensive the longer I wait, >> I guess. So, so you're looking at a >> I guess. So, so you're looking at a Ferrari 360. $130,000 for G6. But it's

[38:23] got a long way to go for 5 days remaining. You didn't get $130,000 worth There there's there's no way. >> Oh, let's see. There. There's no way >> Oh, let's see. There. There's no way because I do have my own maths right

[38:36] goes. Okay, here we go. Our profit for this month, nine cars, $15,88963. for car nine cars, $1,869.33. So, we are one short on our goal. We

[38:52] were going to sell 10 10 cars a month, but our average profit is more than we 1,500 bucks. So there's the first week of July that we weren't open yet cuz the Wizard was leaving and Fourth of July and all that stuff. So considering that

[39:06] we did really, really well. Our biggest money maker actually a 2015 Ford Escape, >> which is pretty good. Our two lowest ones, uh, the Honda Accord and the Hummer H2, which I thought was going to be a total home run, but we did we did

[39:22] >> I was not a fan. >> We we made a little over $1,000 on the good. a little less than a th000 on the Honda. So >> now I will give you something about the Hummer. That thing was perfectly like uh

[39:35] >> things. >> And not rusty. just the interior and the well the outside used. were a lot of people interested on it. And the first person that came actually

[39:48] looked at it in person did buy it, but they did nitpick the interior and other because Gigi, she kind of stomped her feet and like we need to sell that car. It has problems or you need to fix everything. Okay. Well, I she wasn't

[40:03] wanted to sell a car. It's funny. She's just such a machine selling cars >> and we needed to we need to get rid of >> it needed to go. But she gets withdrawals like a junkie if she doesn't sell a car every day. So like if if

[40:16] selling a car and then then she starts to tense up and and and get something moved. So, perfect person there. So, so with that profit of $15,889, everything, right? >> Well, well, you've been keeping track of

[40:33] expenses. >> Yes. Well, I mean, expenses are in there as far as the cost of the car and the repairs, the shipping, the cleaning, all that stuff. It's all that's So, that's the car profit,

[40:46] >> there like the wrench from the wizard, right? Is that on your list of things >> Yes. And obviously, we needed to buy a few things to open up. So, >> How are you going to get through 16 grand at the Hoopy Lock?

[41:00] >> First, we have to go to the wizard. So, we have to pay the Grand Wizard his rent >> $3,000. >> Yeah. He will still get thousands of dollars from me every month, even though he is very far away from me. But, I

[41:13] and everything else. So, he's definitely hooking us up. Then we have to pay Gigi. >> Gigi is very important to this. >> Yes. So with all all her commission and hourly rate and all stuff, she got paid $4,978.

[41:29] >> That's I I know she wants to do a lot more. Once I get more cars up here in a full month, she'll do a lot more. But in addition, she does have an hourly for the administrative work as far as being assistant, taking the phones, you know,

[41:41] we did give her something for that. But otherwise, she's straight commission and earning all that on the car. So, 20% of the profit on the car. So, that 15 grand out. >> Yeah. She's She's not afraid of like

[41:54] can definitely sell the car. She knows you can. So, >> Yep. >> Okay. Now, we have shop supplies. So, you know, when Wizard left, he took a lot of his stuff. We have to replace it.

[42:06] That was $2,76 in shop supplies cleaner >> and brake clean and uh refrigerant for ACs or >> uh all that stuff.

[42:21] a one time. I guess you have to keep renewing it, but it's a bigger onetime >> There are some a couple tools there. Maybe 300 bucks worth of tools. Mhm. >> Now we have utilities. Now all of the

[42:37] utilities have not shown up yet, but this is what's shown up so far. It is the gas and the trash, and that combined is $648. >> Well, and a lot of that's a deposit. Like we had to put a $500 deposit for

[42:49] >> Yeah. Okay. So, that's a onetime thing, but still. Yeah. That that eats it up. >> Mhm. >> We needed a computer. >> A good printer. Can't be a cheap one either,

[43:03] >> So, that was $2,000. >> Yes, I remember buying that and getting the fancy Max the desk looks good and everything else. So, yeah, that was a >> Luckily, we did get the desk and all that stuff for free.

[43:16] there for sure. Yep. >> Then we have insurance. >> It's expensive cuz I want to work on Ferraris, so we have to get a higher policy. So, that's $800. >> Yeah. Now, there's the garage liability

[43:30] with the dealer's license. But as far as you doing retail work for customers and things if you drop a car, damage a car, we needed that insurance. So, that's that's an expense. That's every month. That's one car profit, I guess, just for

[43:43] insurance going away. >> Now, this one is probably our cheapest. Gas. We only spent $100 in gas. >> Fuel for the cars. Okay, nice. Yep. So obviously there's a lot of startup costs and things, but still my mental math

[43:57] and things, but still my mental math that's not that's not 15 $16,000. There's still there's still a little bit there. We're still profitable except >> Yeah. It looks like it's about you know 2,850 roughly is was left over.

[44:11] >> I did save myself for last. >> Mhm. So >> Yes. >> for me to run this place, >> you're running it. >> I want $3,000. you. Yeah, that was what

[44:23] pretty good deal on that this month as far as starting things up cuz how many administrative that you were >> Oh my goodness. I've been working 10 >> Yeah, seven days a week. So like he he could have gone this month and made more

[44:37] money per hour probably working at McDonald's or something. But now that it's set up and you're you're out, you know, working on the cars more and obviously you're making money as a mechanic there. So that that

[44:49] money as a mechanic there. So that that means so that means we broke even. means so that means we broke even. >> Well, we lost $152. >> So me operating my brand new business, a hoop delot, I only lost $152.

[45:07] >> that's incredible. >> Well, that's not the end of the story. You still >> have bills. Okay. >> So, right here we have the Escalade. >> Ah, I see. Because this one isn't

[45:19] inventory. This is my platinum hybrid. So, I have to pay that as a retail customer $1,587 cuz the shocks Yeah. I remember the those Mag Ride shocks. Yes. >> Okay. So, there's that one. And then

[45:34] >> and then this one is for your >> the Prius. Mhm. >> Yep. It has that little battery that's gone out. You looked it over. You tested needed that little battery. >> Yeah, the battery is dead dead.

[45:47] >> Okay. So, I do have some bills for the lot and I do actually make money on the retail customer side of things. So, so I pay to have my cars repaired, but but I

[45:59] get anyway. So, I don't really understand how it all works, but I know when we get more retail customers as far as if you get any Ferrari service and left behind that you still want to take care of, there'll be there'll be some

[46:13] >> yeah, it's like a cashback program >> for you. >> for you. >> This might work for the first month and all the startup expenses. This might actually work. And the other part that

[46:27] that I cannot believe is the Hooptilot YouTube channel. I'm amazed >> the the the the explosion in interest with that. Four videos out already, the average views, 200,000 views per video that that's made six or $7,000 in just

[46:43] that that's made six or $7,000 in just AdSense, YouTube views there. I I I didn't imagine cuz it was my old podcast channel that was averaging maybe 8 10,000 views per video when it was the podcast. And then we post and we gain

[46:55] podcast. And then we post and we gain 60,000 new subscribers in in two weeks. and and the view. I'm I'm I'm astounded. I I'm very happy that you all love the me going, you know, Hollywood a couple years ago and buying Bugattis and I know

[47:10] Ferrari market is just so crazy. This this is way more fun for me. And you all agree it it's great. So, please do subscribe to the Hooptilot channel below. So, you can click and subscribe to both. And the last video with Gigi in

[47:27] to both. And the last video with Gigi in the Maserati that uh that was uh you you >> That that was that I I don't want to talk about that. >> Anyway, we inspected the the Maserati. It was actually it's really nice. 69,000

[47:40] someone wanting to buy it. So, we do have a deposit on that car. We're not finished yet. But Gigi had someone come up and joy ride the thing, a couple, and they kind of got a little uh maybe frisky in it. So, she had to come back

[47:54] and tell the story. She showed up on the channel like a nuclear bomb. It was hilarious. So, I'll end with a clip of that and then you can go check out the hoopy lot. Thank you so much for watching. But to only lose $150, I am I

[48:10] am I am so happy that that's that's like making a million dollars for me. This is >> Amazing. >> Gigi, we'll see you on the next video. >> Yeah. Thank you so much. You're >> no no joy rides.

[48:22] >> Okay. All right, I'll do a little more >> intimate joy rides. If it's a couple >> Okay, >> maybe you ride along and make sure nothing weird happens. >> Oh, well, you know, maybe. Yeah, that

[48:36] might be worse. >> Oh my goodness.
