Juicy Air Fryer Chicken Tenders in Minutes
31sShows how to make juicy chicken breast easily, debunking the myth that chicken is dry and boring.
▶ Play Clip[00:00] Today I'm going to show you exactly why
[00:01] my air fryer has now replaced my oven.
[00:04] And in this video, I will be explaining
[00:05] my top reasons why an air fryer is a
[00:07] must have in your kitchen while I show
[00:09] you exactly how to make eight of my
[00:10] favorite lowc calorie recipes. The air
[00:12] fryer is a macro friendly recipe cheat
[00:14] code. That leads into reason number one
[00:16] why you should have an air fryer is
[00:17] because it is beginner proof. If you do
[00:20] not know how to cook or you want to use
[00:21] zero brain cells to make delicious food,
[00:24] this is your best friend. One
[00:25] realization I've had is it's not that I
[00:28] don't like chicken breast. It's that I
[00:30] don't like dry, boring chicken breast.
[00:31] So, I'm going to show you how to take
[00:32] your air fryer and make juicy chicken
[00:35] tenders with zero brain cells. We're
[00:37] going to grab our seasoning. Want the
[00:39] Cajun seasoning. Don't be shy. I like to
[00:42] just use one hand just so I have another
[00:45] hand free to season any blank spots. You
[00:48] might want to have to sneeze while
[00:49] you're doing this cuz it'll get up your
[00:51] nose a little bit. Season any of these
[00:53] spots that don't have enough. I knew it
[00:56] was coming. So, this is what it looks
[00:58] like. Nice and seasoned about to go in
[00:59] the air fryer. And we're going to be
[01:00] able to fit this whole batch in here.
[01:02] That's the beauty of this. And getting a
[01:05] six quart. Anything smaller than a six
[01:07] quart is not practical. Anything bigger
[01:09] than a six quart just doesn't really act
[01:11] like an air fryer. My favorite cooking
[01:13] oil, avocado oil. A little bit of a
[01:15] spritz. So, now we're just going to add
[01:16] it to air fryer. Air fry. Go. temp 400.
[01:21] We're going to go time.
[01:24] And so, while that is going, we are
[01:26] going to prep our potatoes wrench fry.
[01:28] And so, quick pro tip for your cutting
[01:30] board. If you put a damp towel
[01:31] underneath, it doesn't slide. And if it
[01:33] doesn't have it, it's going to slide
[01:35] everywhere. How you cut your finger off.
[01:37] I'm cutting a bunch of potatoes cuz
[01:38] we're going to do a test in the oven and
[01:40] in the air fryer. Just clean the dirt
[01:42] off the outsides. Dry off your potatoes.
[01:44] Now, we cut these bad boys up. Two for
[01:47] the oven, two for the air fryer. So,
[01:48] we're just going to take off an end,
[01:51] another end, and then we're going to cut
[01:53] in half, and then take off the edges.
[01:56] Bam. Bam. Bam. Bam.
[02:00] So, we're looking for
[02:03] We're not going super long fries. Now,
[02:04] just repeat this for all your potatoes.
[02:07] Bam. All the French fries done. And now,
[02:09] the moment of truth,
[02:11] [Music]
[02:13] guys, look at these things.
[02:16] Unbelievable. You want your chicken
[02:18] tenders to stay juicy, do not touch
[02:20] them. Let them rest for about 10
[02:23] minutes. They can hold all their juices
[02:25] cuz I could rip one open right now and
[02:26] show you how juicy they are, but then
[02:28] all the juices would be gone. But yeah,
[02:30] I just prepped 2 lbs of chicken tenders
[02:32] in 10 minutes. And then you can just
[02:34] rinse and repeat if you want to do 4 lb,
[02:36] 6 lb, 8 lb. It's just 10 minutes. And
[02:38] then don't forget there's going to be a
[02:39] little bit of the juices rendered out
[02:40] the bottom. Make sure to drizzle that.
[02:43] So, while our chicken tenders are
[02:45] cooling, so quick break in the video
[02:47] because I made you guys something pretty
[02:49] cool. I made you this free recipe book.
[02:50] It's 100% free. First link in the
[02:52] description below. It has all the
[02:53] recipes you'll see in this video and
[02:54] then also has a ton of bonus recipes. It
[02:56] has the macros, beautiful picture,
[02:57] recipe video link, has all the
[02:59] ingredients, all the directions all in
[03:01] one place. Like I said, 100% free. Takes
[03:03] I would say max 8 seconds to get. First
[03:04] link in the description below. Let's get
[03:06] back to the video. We're going to go to
[03:07] point number two. The air fryer is so
[03:09] much faster in the oven. And I'm going
[03:10] to run a test to show you what this
[03:11] looks like. Preheating the air fryer. I
[03:13] would say it's like a third of the time
[03:15] to a half versus the oven. I'm going to
[03:17] preheat the oven.
[03:19] Stopwatch.
[03:22] So, we're going to see how long it takes
[03:23] to get to 400° F. This is insane, dude.
[03:25] I've just been sitting here forever.
[03:27] It's not even preheated yet. We're
[03:29] there, baby. I'm so hungry. And I'd be
[03:31] eating lunch by now if it wasn't for
[03:32] this oven. Got to run these
[03:34] tests to show you how great the air
[03:36] fryer is. Always preheat your oven with
[03:37] the pan in there that you're going to
[03:39] cook with because that creates a a
[03:41] crispy bottom.
[03:44] And this is going to be counter to what
[03:47] you maybe will think, but we're not
[03:49] going to do anything to these fries
[03:51] because I'm going to show you what
[03:52] happens to these fries whenever I don't
[03:53] put anything on them in the air fryer.
[03:55] So, we're doing a one:1 test right now.
[03:56] Into the air fryer, raw dog. Literally
[03:59] no oil on them. Trust the process. We're
[04:01] trying to make the most crispy and
[04:02] macroofriendly French fries possible. We
[04:04] only have so much oil to play around
[04:06] with. For the oven, this has been 19
[04:08] minutes and 27 seconds so far. We're
[04:11] going to start a new timer. Bam. Got a
[04:13] new one. All right. So, now we're going
[04:15] to do the air fryer. Air fryer. We're
[04:17] going to go 25 minutes. 400.
[04:21] Bam. And now we're at point number three
[04:23] of why the air fryer is better than the
[04:25] oven. The shake.
[04:28] So, instead of having to take each one
[04:30] and flip it over in the oven, like I can
[04:32] literally just shake. Bam.
[04:35] right back in. So now I'm about to have
[04:36] to take these out of the oven and try
[04:38] and flip them over and it's going to be
[04:40] a pain in the ass. I will never cook
[04:42] French fries in the oven. Ever, ever,
[04:43] ever. I'm only doing it for you guys in
[04:45] this video. These are going to take
[04:46] forever. Now I got to go and I got to
[04:48] flip each one of these over and I risk
[04:50] having to burn myself. Always burn
[04:52] myself taking stuff out of the oven.
[04:55] So it's been about 15 minutes.
[04:58] Look at these things. No oil on them.
[05:02] Crispy. Now we're going simple combo.
[05:04] Avocado oil, sea salt, garlic powder. My
[05:06] goal is about 4 g of fat.
[05:12] Now we're going sea salt,
[05:16] garlic powder.
[05:20] Just drop them back in the air fryer for
[05:22] a few minutes.
[05:24] Just look at these beaut chicken tenders
[05:27] to reheat them back up since this is
[05:29] going to be my lunch.
[05:33] [Music]
[05:39] And this whole plate's only 518
[05:41] calories, over 50 g of protein,
[05:45] crispiness, and these are reheated and
[05:48] still super juicy. Like one of my
[05:49] favorite meals, and we're still waiting
[05:51] on them. Damn oven fries. The reason why
[05:53] I make fries all the time is how easy it
[05:55] is to make. Like, this is an insane fat
[05:57] loss meal. They're finally ready. Here
[05:58] we go.
[06:00] I mean, to be fair, they don't look bad,
[06:02] but it has been that is insane. I think
[06:04] it was like 20 minutes to preheat, 49,
[06:06] 50 minutes in the oven. These are good
[06:07] looking fries, but they took like 3
[06:10] hours to make, and that is just
[06:12] unacceptable. I mean, they're good
[06:13] fries, but all life is is opportunity
[06:16] cost. Baby, was it worth it?
[06:22] Nasty mother. The amount of people I see
[06:25] posting recipes online with dirty ass
[06:28] air fryers is insane. And so next up, I
[06:30] want to give you a pro tip for the
[06:31] longevity of your air fryer. It is so
[06:34] tempting to just keep throwing food in
[06:36] here and not cleaning it. But I am not a
[06:39] big fan of repeat oil use heating up
[06:43] inside the air fryer. What I mean by
[06:44] that, we just made chicken tenders. Then
[06:46] we made fries and we heated up, cooled,
[06:49] heated up, and so now you have that oil
[06:50] just kind of caking in there. The more
[06:52] you let a cake in there, harder it is to
[06:53] be able to clean. So, I highly recommend
[06:55] after each meal you use it, you just
[06:58] give it a little clean. It takes a
[07:00] minute or two. It adds so much longer of
[07:02] a life to your air fryer. Warm water
[07:05] dawn in there.
[07:08] Then we just scrub a dubdub. So, then
[07:11] you just give it a nice little Don't go
[07:14] too hard cuz you're going to end up
[07:17] scraping off all the nonstick and the
[07:19] guns ain't the nonstick. It's so bad for
[07:21] you. Rinse it off.
[07:23] Now we just do the same with the air
[07:25] fryer into the crevices.
[07:28] I've had this air fryer for 6 months.
[07:30] Look how brand new it looks. Be
[07:31] proactive. 1 to 2 minutes. I'll ask. I'm
[07:34] about to show you to make a protein
[07:35] pizza that's only 70 calories. Then
[07:37] after I get done showing you that, I'm
[07:38] going to show you a cheat code with that
[07:40] pizza in the air fryer.
[07:42] Only 80 calories. Holy Crispy
[07:45] crust.
[07:46] Today I'm showing you how to level up
[07:48] your meal prep with these mini protein
[07:49] pizzas. Only 78 calories, the easiest
[07:51] pizza crust you'll ever make and they're
[07:53] delicious. So, first we're going to add
[07:54] all our dry dough ingredients into a
[07:55] bowl. Mix to avoid clumping. Then you're
[07:57] going to add your wet ingredients in
[07:58] there. Mix till you get a thick paste.
[07:59] Trust the process here. This is the most
[08:00] practical dough you'll ever use. You
[08:02] don't have to knead it. Throw flour all
[08:03] over your kitchen. Wait for it to rise
[08:05] and 24 hours go by and you still haven't
[08:06] had pizza. This is a spreadable crust
[08:08] that keeps the calories lower, but then
[08:09] also you can have pizza in 20 minutes or
[08:10] less. Bake for 4 to 5 minutes. Then take
[08:12] these off the parchment. Bake for
[08:13] another 2 to 3 minutes. Should look nice
[08:14] and golden. Now you're going to repeat
[08:15] this process for all your crust. Now
[08:17] it's time to build your pizzas. We're
[08:18] going to make these a garlic crust. Then
[08:19] we're going to add our pizza sauce. Our
[08:20] parskin mozzarella that's been rinsed
[08:22] for optimal cheese bowl. Turkey
[08:23] pepperonis. Add back to the oven till
[08:24] golden. And then it's time to enjoy, my
[08:26] friends. Always rinse your parskin
[08:28] mozzarella. There's like a cakey starch
[08:30] on here. I know you want cheese pools.
[08:32] Got to rinse it. So all you do is just
[08:33] run a little bit of cold water, let it
[08:36] drain, and just press out
[08:39] the water. And then now you got cheese
[08:41] pull mozzarella. So you just saw the
[08:43] pizza recipe. Here we have our leftover
[08:44] meal prep crust. So we're going to show
[08:46] how great the air fryer is at reheating
[08:49] food. Since we want these to be a garlic
[08:50] crust, we're going to add a little bit
[08:51] of the garlic powder pizza sauce, a
[08:55] little bit of our wash cheese. So we're
[08:57] going to wait to add our turkey
[08:58] pepperonis because if you add them on
[09:00] too early, they're just going to fly all
[09:01] over the place. You need the cheese to
[09:02] melt. Then you add them on, you can
[09:04] press them in there and then they won't
[09:05] fly everywhere. Into the air fryer.
[09:10] Bada bing. Now we're going to add on
[09:11] those turkey pepperonis. Now it's a
[09:13] little melty. You see how I'm able to
[09:15] press them into the cheese? Now back in
[09:17] the air fryer we go.
[09:21] Yo, what the
[09:25] This took 3 minutes, guys. Look.
[09:29] Look at this pizza. Oh, don't fall. My
[09:32] god. You guys saw the cheese coming off
[09:34] like that? Pizza in 3 minutes.
[09:38] [Music]
[09:40] 70 calories. Always reheat your food in
[09:44] the air fryer. And the microwave's
[09:45] disgusting. Except for a craft protein
[09:47] mac and cheese recipe I have coming
[09:49] soon. I'll show you a picture. You can
[09:50] reheat in the microwave.
[09:52] Crazy.
[09:56] Wash your cheese and wash your air
[09:58] fryer.
[09:59] Is that pizza? But Zach, what's for
[10:01] dessert? This recipe I'm about to show
[10:03] you. Certified banger. Animated in my
[10:05] air fryer brownie stuffed with
[10:07] cheesecake. Only 232 calories. And it
[10:09] begins in 3 2 1.
[10:13] Cheesecake stuffed cosmic brownie. Less
[10:15] than 250 calories.
[10:18] Oh,
[10:24] [Music]
[10:34] heat.
[10:37] [Music]
[10:52] [Music]
[11:04] I got one of these left over. That's how
[11:05] I store them. Anything I make in my mini
[11:07] cheesecake pans tend to fit in these
[11:10] small deli containers. So, it's like
[11:11] perfect for meal prep. Got the brownie
[11:13] right here. Pop that out. The bottom.
[11:17] Oh, and I got some leftover the protein
[11:18] icing. We're going to drizzle that on
[11:20] top.
[11:23] Little confetti chips.
[11:25] 232 calories, but nothing matters until
[11:28] we see the inside. Granted, this thing
[11:30] has chilled overnight.
[11:33] Insane. Even a day later. That is
[11:35] ridiculous. Made in the air fryer. Who
[11:37] would have thought it? What is this
[11:39] life? Oh god. I got something for you.
[11:42] Hold on. If you want this recipe and all
[11:43] the recipes in this video along with a
[11:46] ton of bonus recipes. It's 100% free.
[11:48] First link in the description below. I
[11:49] mean, you got all the recipes. We got
[11:50] the macros. Got a beautiful picture. We
[11:52] got a recipe video linked. We got all
[11:54] the ingredients, directions all in one
[11:56] place. Book has all kinds of recipes,
[11:58] even bonus recipes in this video. 100%
[12:00] free. First link in the description
[12:01] below. If you don't go get that book, do
[12:03] not get chocolate on the book. Exact
[12:04] chocolatey fingers. Got to dry them off
[12:06] really fast. How do you burn so many
[12:08] calories? So, let's say I want to use my
[12:10] air fryer to make the quickest of quick
[12:13] delicious macroofriendly snacks. We're
[12:15] going to start with a low carb tortilla.
[12:17] We're going to grab the chicken tenders
[12:18] from earlier. Chicken tendies and we're
[12:21] going to chop those up into small
[12:24] pieces. We got our cut chicken laughing
[12:25] cow cheese wedge on each. Actually,
[12:28] we're going to two/3 on each. One on
[12:30] each is a little overkill. Spread it all
[12:32] the way to the edges. Laughing cow
[12:33] cheese wedges are one of the most
[12:35] goatated, versatile, low calorie
[12:37] ingredients. Now, we're going to evenly
[12:39] add our chicken. Add a little bit of 2%
[12:42] KBY jack cheese. We don't need to wash
[12:43] this cuz it's actually going inside of
[12:45] something. When it is subject to oxygen,
[12:49] that's when the caking agent tends to
[12:51] dry out and you don't get the cheetles.
[12:54] Then we'll go a little bit of green
[12:55] onion just cuz I have it just for some
[12:58] color. I would normally put a sauce in
[13:00] here, but we're going to be dipping it
[13:01] in a sauce. So, we're just going to And
[13:03] I already stuffed these a little too
[13:04] much. So, we press this down.
[13:10] Spray each bottom half with cooking oil.
[13:12] Do your best to spray directly on top of
[13:16] each one so you're not just making a
[13:18] mess in the air fryer. Here's a little
[13:19] pro tip. I use ramicans inside the air
[13:21] fryer to make sure anything stays shut.
[13:23] So, these heat up in the air fryer so it
[13:25] kind of like sears the top of whatever
[13:27] it's on top of, too. So, yeah, it just
[13:28] helps. So, we put this on top. This one
[13:31] right here. So, now we're definitely
[13:33] sealed shut.
[13:36] Easy. Zero brain cells.
[13:42] Let's take these off with some
[13:43] protection so I don't burn my fingers.
[13:46] Looking nice. Making me sing cuz these
[13:50] look so nice.
[13:53] [Music]
[13:54] I got some leftover
[13:57] low calorie homemade creamy Taco Bell
[14:00] sauce. 20 calories per serving.
[14:04] Yep. I'll have to do some macro math
[14:06] after the video. I'm pretty sure these
[14:07] are less than 150 calories per. You'll
[14:08] see the macros on the screen right now,
[14:10] but um it's definitely low calorie and
[14:12] low effort.
[14:14] Unreal. Freaking hot. Look at the
[14:16] portability.
[14:19] And so the next reason why I think your
[14:21] air fryer should replace your oven, at
[14:22] least have an air fryer, is if you have
[14:25] kids. Whenever I was doing research and
[14:26] making the outline for this video, I had
[14:28] a hunch. I don't have kids yet. So I had
[14:30] to crowdsource this information. I
[14:31] posted on my story asking parents if
[14:33] their kids use the air fryer and how
[14:35] they use it. And holy kids use the
[14:37] air fryer and parents love that and the
[14:40] kids love it. And so here's what I found
[14:42] out from all the replies. And I'm sorry
[14:44] if you're watching this and I didn't get
[14:45] back to you. There was just so many. But
[14:46] from the ones that I saw, it was the air
[14:48] fryer just replaced the microwave. And
[14:49] it was a fun way, a starter way for kids
[14:52] to learn how to cook. And there was one
[14:53] meal that was the most common. And it
[14:55] just makes sense. Chicken nuggets and
[14:56] fries. And that meal was normally
[14:58] something they have to make in the oven.
[14:59] And parents don't feel comfortable with
[15:01] a I mean, the youngest was 6 5 6 years
[15:03] old using the air fryer. There's just so
[15:05] many variables that can go wrong with
[15:06] the oven. Macroofriendly chicken nuggets
[15:08] and my favorite frozen fries. and we're
[15:10] going to show how easy it is to make
[15:12] chicken nuggets and fries in the air
[15:14] fryer from Frozen as if you're a kid.
[15:16] What we're going to do is take one of my
[15:17] favorite sound bites or snippets from
[15:19] the DMs. It was what I tell my kids is
[15:22] 350 till crispy. And I was like, man,
[15:25] that's amazing. Fries will need to cook
[15:27] longer than the nuggets. So, the fries
[15:28] are going to go in there for about 6 to
[15:29] 8 minutes.
[15:32] 350 till crispy.
[15:37] Looking pretty nice. chicken nuggets.
[15:42] Bam. And in case you didn't know, the
[15:44] macros on these chicken nuggets, 130
[15:46] calories, 23 g of protein, four carb,
[15:49] two fat. That's pretty insane for
[15:50] chicken nuggets. I haven't had these in
[15:52] a minute, so I'll let you know if
[15:53] they're any good when they come out.
[15:58] Obviously, the Alexia fries are just so
[16:01] good. Chicken nugs. Looking good. Not
[16:04] too shabby. All right, here we go. I
[16:06] mean, I mean, that's not bad. It's
[16:08] lightly breaded, but for those
[16:10] macaronis, I'll buy this for sure. This
[16:12] is just an easy meal. Like I said, zero
[16:14] brain cells in the air fryer. I like
[16:16] that. Should have salted the sweet
[16:17] potato fries. Totally forgot. They're
[16:18] really good. And so, we're at 10 reasons
[16:20] so far. Come here on why your air fryer
[16:22] should replace your oven. And I got a
[16:24] few quick fire bonus ones. I use two air
[16:26] fryers. Why? Because I can do protein in
[16:29] one, I can do a side in the other. I can
[16:31] meal prep with it. With just one air
[16:32] fryer, it's really hard to meal prep.
[16:34] Just don't put them on the same breaker
[16:35] because your breaker will short. too
[16:37] much energy on one burger. And then next
[16:38] one, it's mobility. I can take this and
[16:41] I can go outside. Why? Why is it
[16:43] important that I do that? Because if I'm
[16:45] cooking fish, my place will smell like
[16:47] fish forever. Like for so long, and it
[16:49] takes so long to get the smell of fish
[16:51] out of my place. So, I will take this
[16:52] out onto my balcony and I will cook my
[16:54] salmon. And then number three, this
[16:55] freaking thing will heat up my place so
[16:58] much. I have to preheat it, then I have
[17:00] to have the oven on for a while. And it
[17:01] just leaks heat into my place. And it
[17:04] just gets so hot in here. I live in
[17:05] Austin, Texas. It gets so hot here. I
[17:07] get a lot of sun shining onto my place.
[17:08] So, anything I can do to not have my
[17:10] place get really hot. Yeah, that's why
[17:12] the air fryer so much better in the
[17:14] oven. If you like this format, let me
[17:15] know in the comments below. This is the
[17:16] first time I've done this format. This
