Why did n't God Almighty say "the angel of the elephant," for example? Why did He specifically choose the word "companions"? Usually, things like this

[00:45] make me... I searched a lot, wanting to know the reason behind the word. God Almighty, since He mentioned a specific word, surely there is wisdom behind it. Anyway, when I sat and searched and did research on this topic, I found that the word "companion" means or is defined as someone who is a companion of someone better than him. So, in

[01:01] order to call someone your friend, the person you are with must be better than you. And that's why, for example, the Companions, may God be pleased with them, were called the Companions. Because they were the companions of the Messenger, may God bless him and grant him peace, and that's why they were called the Companions. Of course, you might be surprised now and say to me, "So you

[01:15] mean now that the elephant is better than Abraha, who was with me, who were the companions of the elephant? This is an animal and this is a human being." I say to you, yes, and I will give you the proof. Abraha, Abraha the Abyssinian, and the people who were with him, what did they want to do? They wanted to destroy the Kaaba, and what did the elephant do? It

[01:29] refused to destroy the Kaaba, so that's why they were called the companions of the elephant. Why? Because the elephant is actually better than them. The question here is, is it your young friend who comes around and wastes 24 hours with you, leaving you with nothing to accomplish that day, a complete waste? Or is it

[01:43] your friend who does nothing but gossip? Or your friend who pushes you to do something wrong so he can't be doing it alone, so you both do it together? He's either drinking something or doing something else, and he's pushing you to do it with him.

[01:57] Or is it your friend with a negative, pessimistic outlook on life, always seeing everything as a dead end, always crushing your hopes when you have an idea or ambition? He tells you the world is bleak and shuts the door in your face. Why am I talking to you and telling you to ask

[02:25] doing wrong things instead of clearing our heads; on the contrary, it might be holding us back. There's a saying I heard that made me look at friendships in a completely different light: if you want to know where you'll be in five or ten years, look at the

[02:41] friends around you now. Because the friends around you now are the ones who will determine where you are in five or ten years. In short, your friend has to be better than you, or let's say better than you and similar to you at the same time. He has to be similar to you in his

[02:54] remind you of God Almighty and encourage you to draw closer to Him. Finding a true friend is a blessing from God, and it should reflect your values ​​and principles, the ones you live by. It's better than being better than you, but by "better than you," I don't mean having more money, a bigger

[03:07] car, or a better life. It's not measured that way at all. A true friend is better than you because of their hard work, ambition, and dedication. They strive to achieve their goals, pushing themselves to the limit. A true friend is always optimistic and ambitious, with dreams and aspirations they're determined to reach.
