[00:02] which makes it time to sit down and catch up on what's going on in WoW this week. We have a brand new patch launching in just a couple of days. Patch 12.0.5 will be with us in the room with this upcoming weekly reset on April

[00:14] last couple of weeks about what's coming. I will link the full patch notes the new features. There will be lots of new things to do, particularly in terms of world content and fun little mini events. And it's also bringing us a

[00:28] couple of really powerful new ways to continue to improve our gear. The Void Forge is a system that's going to allow us to kind of bonus roll extra gear, except that you will always get a piece of gear, you won't get duplicate gear,

[00:40] rolls that I didn't catch up on until quite recently is that when you use the Void Core to generate a piece of loot in a Mythic Plus dungeon, it's actually going to give you loot equivalent to the item level of the vault loot that

[00:55] really important because it means that as long as you're using your Void Cores in plus 10 keys or higher, if you're of course looking for dungeon loot, you're myth track items for that character. For

[01:08] lots of us, the Mythic Plus track of the vault is the only source of myth track other place you're going to get them. So, this is going to dramatically speed up how quickly you're able to gear sort

[01:21] of a main or like a mid-level rating or progressing character, which I think is you might want to be gearing your character for, we learned this week a little bit about some new stretch goals coming to Mythic Plus in patch 12.0.5.

[01:36] be a couple of new achievements to chase if you were feeling like keys were getting a little too easy now and you needed something new to work on. Let me introduce you to Keystone Myth. Starting next week, earning 3,400 Mythic

[01:49] Plus rating is going to give you an achievement as well as a time lost saddle that you can trade for a mount of your choice. You'll be able to choose Keystone Master and Keystone Legend mounts, as well as \{{}quote} a variety of

[02:04] This sounds a lot like the Vicious Saddle system that PvP has had for a then trade them for a variety of older mounts. It's cool to see it coming to going to give people a reason to continue doing keys and pushing them

[02:19] past just getting 12s um to get your 3K achievement. One thing that occurred to me though is if the Time-Lost Saddle is indeed once per war band per season, which is what they originally announced

[02:32] it as, and they add a bunch of different mounts that are new you could get as well as the entire backlog, it might take a long time to get them all if that's something that you were trying to do. I'm sure the point of the system is

[02:46] mounts, it's to give you kind of a bonus and then you can pick out one you like, if the thought of not getting all of the mounts is is a tough one for you, then you might not like this cuz it would be slow to get everything. Time-Lost

[03:00] Saddles are definitely not going to be for everybody because 3,400 still takes some doing even with the new key balancing. That means doing 16s in time. be something anybody just walked down the street and does, but I do think it's

[03:14] really nice to have a reason to keep gearing characters and using some of this new power progression that we're getting in 12.0.5 because otherwise, you whatever you were doing in terms of keys and raid, you're looking at all of these

[03:26] guaranteed gear being like, "Well, what do I want this for?" So, you might want it for Keystone Myth. Another even further stretch goal is the new Umbral Champion achievement, which is for the top 1% of Mythic Plus rating

[03:41] at the end of the season. This is going to give you an exclusive mount. I don't know if we know what the mount is yet. If we do, it slipped by Currently, as the ratings shake out, top 1% is, funnily enough, in the range of

[03:54] 3,400-ish. That is most likely going to change, um especially toward the end of the season as as ratings keep getting pushed. I think that having lots of people pushing to 3,400 for Keystone Myth is probably

[04:06] going to push the top 1% even higher. It's neat to have special little things the ladder. I think that sometimes whenever Blizzard adds sort of an exclusive skill-based or, you know, performance-based reward like this, it

[04:19] a bit upset about feeling like there's a get. I do think it's good for the game though. I think it's cool to have these somebody did something very well. I'm looking forward to maybe seeing some of

[04:32] those in the wild. Other new things coming to dungeons, not quite a new thing, but a new application of it. Lindormi's Glow is going to be a feature available to toggle on in Mythic Plus. So, if you've done a Mythic Plus like 1

[04:46] through 5, you may have noticed packs of mobs lighting up yellow. You get uh a those mobs, I believe, something like that. There's an incentive to kill those specifically, it's going to give you enough count for the dungeon. So, the

[04:59] whole point of the glowing pack thing is to provide like a a built-in clear visual route for new tanks to follow, or just a group to follow if they don't want to figure out pathing and percentage and all that. You can just

[05:11] that will be a functional route for you to use. Lindormi's Glow extends that beyond plus fives by allowing a tank to enable this feature to highlight the correct packs to show you what to pull for percentage basically at any key

[05:24] level that they want. It will not give you a buff against those mobs at those higher key levels. That is something for five and below. But, it seems like a really great way to build in a functional route if a tank or any other

[05:37] pug group or somebody just wanted something to do without drama, without skip. I think this kind of thing is meant to make it easier for players to get into tanking, learning the roots and knowing where to go and how to lead a

[05:50] intimidating things about beginning to tank. So, anything that makes it easier to get into or helps new tanks have more confidence in higher keys, I think is fantastic. Any change that they make that gets any

[06:04] make it easier for people to get into groups because right now they're it's tough out there for DPS because there's a lot of DPS and there aren't so many tanks willing to do it. Got to sweeten the deal a little bit.

[06:19] Other things going on, we've got a new Twitch drops starting April the 23rd. It is another Murloc plushy decor. It's a new color, the pearl one, which is it doesn't actually include the shell that it's been staged with here. That

[06:33] when the last drop ends all the way through May the 21st. around the rainbow. They can run those for a straight year if they want to. In my wild life this week, my raid group is still progressing on Loa in Midnight

[06:48] Falls on heroic tough boss. I am still working on a video. I know it's been taking a bit longer. I do think that's a cool fight. I am having though uh what I'm calling new onset shape dyslexia where I the memory game we're

[07:03] doing it without add-ons and I can do it and it's not that bad except that sometimes triangle and diamond make me crazy because they both start with rhyming first syllables and they both have pointy bits.

[07:16] They're tripping me up, man. I started calling it diamond because the the diamond has the point on the top and then triangle cuz it has a flat head and state was holding up through raid, I don't know what does.

[07:30] And then another things going on in my life this week, it's been busy animal wise. Kira is good, Moose is good, the new fish are all settling in good. I got a fish back there, I got shrimp over there, I got fish in another room.

[07:42] And it just so happens that we're we're we're getting we're getting more cats. I think we're getting more cats. My husband and I have been visiting a pair of kittens that we've applied to

[07:54] It's going to be a little while before they can come home because they're very small still. Um names TBD. I don't know how I'm going to live for weeks without them now that I've fallen

[08:08] in love with them because this is this is this is what happens. can visit a cat lounge and yeah, I'll pet the kittens and not want to adopt kitten and it's like over. So stay tuned for updates, but uh Kira
