[00:00] Welcome back. This is Geek Out Friday's Quick Wins and I want to go over how to repurpose one blog post into 10 social media updates in less than 5 minutes.

[00:13] All done without writing a single word. So let's get started here. My promise to you, in the next five to seven minutes, let's say, you'll learn my simple three-step system for turning in-piece long-form content into a week's worth of social media updates on autopilot.

[00:31] Plus, at the end of this video, I'm going to share my power prompt that I've created along with, I'm going to give you my own GPT. So I've taken the Power Prompt, added a whole bunch of knowledge-based content into it to make a GPT that does all this automatically for you.

[00:48] And you're going to get this at the end of the show here. Now, the problem with content repurposing is it's a pain in the ass. My PETA.

[01:00] Repurposing content gets more traffic and visibility, especially if you're spreading it out over the socials. But it feels like it's a second job. You have to put in the time and effort to do it. And I know from the past, as I've spent a lot of time repurposing a single piece of content, that I didn't want to do it again.

[01:18] And I think that's maybe the way that you feel too is, okay, you want to do it right, but you don't want to take four hours to do it. So I want to show you how to do it in about five minutes.

[01:30] And I don't want any burnout or inconsistencies, but I want you to be consistent with the way that you do repurposing. Okay, so I'm going to take you from old-fashioned to the new way.

[01:42] I'm Damon Nelson, and for the last five years, I've been the host of Decap Friday's Mastermind Club. It is a marketing automation bi-weekly show that we do on Zoom calls for entrepreneurs and marketing agencies.

[01:56] We also have software that is RSS Masher, AI Masher, VidPing. You probably have heard a few of these, and our recent one is Bot Masher. Really excited about it. I want to show you today our three-step solution to repurposing content.

[02:13] Very simple and you can do it in less than five minutes. So you're going to copy and paste the blog post or long form content. You going to use a power prompt in either ChatGPT OpenAI Cloud Gemini You can use any of them with this prompt Or you can use my GPT inside of OpenAI

[02:33] Once you run it, you want to review and then post it off to your schedulers. It's really that easy to do. Here is the condensed version of the power prompt. Act as a social media manager from the text below. Create 10 unique social media posts.

[02:48] Facebook and Twitter use hashtags and interactions and paste the content now I'm going to give you the long form that I want you to use but I show this just so you have an idea of what we're doing here okay and why this works so well

[03:03] it's very efficient instead of spending three hours like we used to do repurposing content into ten different social media platforms we can do it in about five minutes you want to maintain consistency that's why it works is you

[03:17] You want every blog post you do, you want to repurpose. The maximum value. And you get more mileage with less time out there by doing this. And it's an easy button. I'm going to give you the easiest way that I know how to do it.

[03:31] Okay. So in just a second, I'm going to show you in action how to take a blog post and chop it up into ten different pieces. In fact, actually more than ten. And if you'll hang to the end, I'm going to give you the GPT that does all this for you.

[03:47] I'm going to go into chat and this is the GPT but we're not going to use it right now we're going to do new chat and I just pulled the blog post up but I want to show you the prompt so I'm going to give you this notion doc you don't sign

[04:01] in for anything here's the outline here's the prompt so I'm just going to copy it okay copy the entire thing and come up here to paste it in and there

[04:14] is a spot to paste your article so I'm going to come over here here's my article is about the top 10 short form video writing styles let's choose something different let's get let's go back into blog and I've got one about the 60 second let's see here it is I like this one

[04:33] the 60 second video that works harder than you do now this is a what I would call an advertorial It's a blog post with call to action. And I gonna copy it come over here I gonna paste it right in here between the square brackets So we have one long post Let see what happens I going to make sure it on GPT and it going to auto which is the best one

[05:01] You have really no idea which one it's using, but it's very fast. Here's Twitter posts. A question, quick tip, shocking stats. I like the stats in there. Facebook, here's a little mini story.

[05:13] Here's a bold statement. And the key takeaways, LinkedIn posts. Now, you want to put images with it. So this looks really good. And I'm going to go ahead and give me some suggested images.

[05:27] I don't want to have to think. I'm a lazy marker. So image video idea. This is great. A bold infographic split screen. Now, you can hand this off to your VA or you can put it into Ideogram or

[05:42] any of these new ones. In fact, I use the Imogen 4 model in AI Studio or with Gemini, and it does an incredible job of text and image together.

[05:56] In fact, it's doing infographics now. Okay, so this is how you can create all this content. And if you want some more, you just come down here and go, give me 10 more.

[06:08] So you can book a second week or book a third week with this. Very easy to do Okay, now let me show you the GPT We're going to start it And I'm going to come over here and just hit control C to copy it

[06:24] And I'm going to paste it in here Now, this is what I really love It's going to rewrite the article for you So you can take this and post it as a LinkedIn, as a Medium post

[06:36] Which I do this, is I post this in the Medium Pointing back to the original article Okay, that looks really good Post it in Facebook This is a long form content that we just rewrote

[06:49] We can rewrite title Do a meta description We can create a video script out of it We can do a Facebook post This is what I like Come down here and do a Facebook post That's great

[07:01] And if you want to do it again Just type N11 again Copy and paste And if I want a teaser script Which I would use sometimes for Twitter So this is a great post to put into Twitter right there And if you want to create hashtags you could do that

[07:21] Create a thumbnail. This gives you a thumbnail prompt. And you can do a podcast from it. And it's a graphic. It's not going to create the graphic, but it's going to create the prompt to put into GIF graphics.

[07:35] Click quotes. Let's see if we can do some quotes off of it. Five shareable quotes. These are great for Twitters and scroll stoppers. This is what you would put at the front of a blog post or a video script.

[07:51] I'm going to take this curiosity hook right here. This is what I'm going to put as my scroll stopper. And now I'm going to come up here and do a video script. Do number five with.

[08:07] And there you go. you got your scroll stopper and you get your this is probably gonna be a 40 second script right there this is pretty cool and if you want CPAs in there you

[08:19] can do all types of SEO keywords, clip quotes, viral hooks let's do a final article do that so it's going the final article package everything that we've

[08:32] done and it will do one of each of these so it has a title a rewrite call to action helpful content it does a lot hope you enjoyed this and I will see you

[08:48] on another video use the prompt or use the GPT and repurpose your content to schedule out what you can do is use repurpose I use buffer so I can create things in buffer and send it out automatically social B is another good

[09:03] one to use there's a lot of content schedulers out there but all you do is you highlight the section you want send it over your scheduler and let it run okay see on another video thank you for joining us
