Shopify Tutorial for Beginners: Set Up Your Store in 10 Minutes

[00:02] Shopify store with at least five winning products and ready to sell pages in under 10 minutes? Today, I am putting it to the test. But here's the twist. Four rules. Number one, I can only use free tools, but I am setting a $5 budget just

[00:17] for unexpected cost. Number two, I have to sell other people's products, meaning I did not create them myself. And a product has to be able to be shipped directly from the supplier to the customer without me ever even touching

[00:30] it. And finally, this store must completely be built for me, including a homepage, contact page, product page, terms and conditions. So, can we really pull this off in 10 minutes? We definitely about to find out. So, let's

[00:44] start the clock. So, the first thing we need to do is find a free tool that will build our Shopify store. I came across build your store and they are not only claiming that they can build us a store for free but that they can do this in

[00:56] under two minutes and on top of that this store is supposed to include 10 winning products with ready to sell pages and as a bonus we will get a free domain. So after careful consideration I've decided we definitely going with

[01:09] this one and I am putting the link to this down in the description so that you can follow along with me. So, we are going to start by clicking on build my free store. And then they will ask us to enter our info here so that we can claim

[01:21] our free Shopify setup. And on the next page, it's going to ask us to choose a niche. Now, listen, we not going to guess here. We going where the money is. So, you want something that's emotional, easy to understand, and filled with

[01:33] products that people already love buying. And on here, they have five good options for you to choose from. But, I'm going with pets. Why? Because pets just a proven winner. It is highly emotional and it's perfect for this challenge.

[01:46] banner options to customize your homepage and you can choose the two you feel will connect with your customer base. I'm definitely choosing one of the photos that have multiple pets so that we can attract more pet parents. And now

[01:59] that we have completed that part, the next thing for us to do is to create our free Shopify account. So, we'll just click access Shopify. And you want to enter the same email that we used earlier. And again, for the win, we are

[02:12] starting with a free trial. So, next, Shopify will ask you to create a password. And just like that, we are in. And since we are letting AI do all of the work for us, when we get to this step here, we can skip the customized

[02:25] setup. But next, it will ask you to choose a plan. And this is what will start once that free trial ends. And let me tell you why you will want to lock this in right now. Because Shopify has a deal going on where you only pay $1 a

[02:39] month for 3 months. And this deal might not be around forever. So you definitely it's here. But right now, we are still in that free trial. So for the next 3 days, we pay nothing. But once you have added the rest of your info, we will be

[02:53] officially inside of the Shopify dashboard. So at this point, we want to go ahead to the top and copy the URL. And we'll head back over to build your store. And on this page, we'll select done. And as you can see, they are now

[03:07] asking us to paste that URL so that we can connect our Shopify to build your store. And once you do that, we'll select save and then done. And if it feels like we are going too fast through this, all of these steps will be written

[03:20] out for you right here in build your store. So you will not be left behind. But at this point, they will tell you to grab your Shopify discount, but we ahead of the class, y'all. We already did that. So we'll just go ahead and select

[03:32] access Shopify so we can clear this page. Then we'll head back into build your store and select done. Now the next step is pretty simple. We'll just have to install the build your store app in Shopify and we'll select install app and

[03:46] then install. Now we are getting to the fun part which is where we are going to create a custom store. So all you have to do is select customize my store and it will work its magic in the background. And wait until

[04:01] you see what it has created. But before we get to that point, we have to allow it to add products to our store. Now remember, on our list is not only a tool us, but one that will be able to

[04:14] products directly to the customers. And this is where AutoDS comes in. With AutoDS, it will be able to use its research to add the top selling products to your website and it will automate the

[04:27] entire process so that when you get a sale, they will ship it directly to the customer and all you have to do is sit back and collect. So, we definitely want to install this and we will select register to AutoDS. You'll enter your

[04:41] info and make sure again it's the same email address and they will ask you to select your selling channel. Of course, we are using Shopify. Now, they are going to ask you to select the right package for you. And right now, AutoDS

[05:10] choosing a plan, I'm going to go with the most popular one. Then, you'll select your payment method and enter your info. They'll ask a few simple questions and then here is where we have to connect our Shopify store now to

[05:24] AutoDS. So, we will choose the option that I already have a Shopify store. It'll take you to the next page to now install the AutoDS app in Shopify. We'll select install and install again. And we are going to head back over to build

[05:38] your store to let them know the task is complete. Now we are on the final step and that's going to be to remove the password from the store so that the public can now access it. So we will now choose access Shopify. And this is the

[05:54] button here that we want to select to turn off the password. And make sure you come to the bottom and hit save. And when you head back over to build your store, we will select done. And you will see three magical words. Access my

[06:08] store. And now for the moment we have been waiting for. We can select access store and stop the clock which was less than 10 minutes for us to make. I did a time. So looking at this absolutely

[06:22] out to make sure it has everything that we said we needed. Looking at this homepage, it is a clean homepage and it has those banners that we selected on it. We are scrolling through. I see products. I see a mission statement. I

[06:36] see testimonials. They went above and beyond. This is more than what we really said we needed. But let's look at those product pages. Make sure those are ready to sell and they are there and they look great. It also has a contact page. It

[06:50] has privacy policies. It has amazing winning products. This is honestly impressive. Comment while below if you think this looks great. Honestly, this is amazing. But I don't want to just leave you here without giving you the

[07:05] extra steps to where you can tweak your store and make this an even better experience for your customer. And I'm more than sure you want to know how do I do product research so that I can add more products to my newly created store.

[07:19] And it is pretty simple to do this. We will head back into AutoDS. And in the menu, you can choose marketplace. And the marketplace has hundreds of thousands of different products for you to choose from. And there are a few tabs

[07:31] under here like handpicked which is like having your own team of experts that show you the best product options which are added on a daily basis. You can also which will show you popular products across social media right now and you'll

[07:47] be able to see how many sales they have gotten, what the potential profit is. And if you decide you want to add any of these to your store, the only thing you will have to do is just select import draft and it will send it to your draft.

[08:00] You'll find the product and you will be able to edit any of the details of this product from the name, the description, you can change the photos, you can change the price. And once you are done, you'll select save and import, and it

[08:16] will send it right over to your store. And that's all it takes to add products to your store. But the next thing I want to show you that's going to be extremely important is how to automate your orders so that you don't have to lift a finger.

[08:29] You'll do this by activating fulfilled by AutoDS, which you will find at the top under manage balance. And you will have to load your balance here. And what this balance is for is once you get an order, AutoDS will be able to purchase

[08:45] that from the supplier and then have it shipped directly to the customer. Now, you don't have to add anything before you get an order. You can add it after you have gotten an order. Either way, the balance has to be here in order for

[08:59] AutoDS to automate the process. Another thing that you will have to do is make sure that you have auto orderer credits. And with a new account, you do get a few of these to get you started. And this is important because it takes away a lot of

[09:12] the work for you and allows you to focus on what really matters, getting those sales. And speaking of sales, the next thing I want to show you is something that can help you with your cart abandonment recovery. So, let's say

[09:24] someone's on your site, they add a product to their cart, but then they change their mind. They may be at work, their boss walk in, they get a phone call, they get distracted. whatever the reason is, they don't complete the

[09:36] purchase. That is called cart abandonment. But there's a system that we are about to set in place that can help you to recover those sales. And we can set this up for free with Omnis. So what Omnis will do is send three

[09:49] automatic emails to these customers to remind them about the product that they added to their cart that they may have forgot about. And at the end of it all, if they have not gone back to purchase it, they will even send an email with a

[10:03] discount to try to recover that sale, increasing the chance for you to make money. So, in order to get this set up, you can go down to the link in my description and click on that and you'll be able to create your free account. And

[10:15] when you are inside of Omnis, they will ask you to connect your store and they'll take you through some steps to install the app. And after it is installed, one of the things they are going to ask you to do is set your brand

[10:28] assets. So they'll ask you for your logo and you can just head over to your that build your store added and just save it as an image and then you can come back in OmniScent and add it here. They will also ask for your brand

[10:41] that build your store added, you can just go to your Shopify dashboard and choose theme and then customize. And this is where you'll see everything your store. So, you'll select theme settings and then choose colors. And

[10:56] the colors as well if you don't like them. But we'll just copy the codes to those colors and just come back and add them to Omniscent. And once that's complete, we'll come over to the side menu and choose automations. And you'll

[11:10] see the option to preview and start workflow. So, we'll choose that. and they will ask you how much of a discount you want to send with that third email that I told you about earlier. So, I'm just going to go with 10%. 10 sounds

[11:22] like a friend. Then I'll select start workflow and you're pretty much done at this email sequence for you and you don't have to do anything else at this point, but let it work. But you can edit these if you want to by clicking into

[11:37] it. If someone started the checkout but didn't complete it, they'll get this first email. And this is what it looks like. And if you want to change it, you select edit content and you can add whatever you want to. This is pretty

[11:50] much the game changer that will secure those sales for you. So, make sure you click on that link down in the description to get started with Omnis. want to cover here because I want to make sure you have all the fundamental

[12:03] things you need to be successful in this. And another thing is going to be will build your store. And this is going to be important because you want your store to look legit and professional. And if you choose a website that has

[12:18] something like a dotstore domain with it, that will actually increase your not want to skip. So we want to head can finish setting everything up. And they'll just tell you to enter your

[12:31] desired domain name. You'll save it. And they'll give you the steps to create a password for your store account. And then they'll show you in Shopify how to add this by just clicking connect now and then connect existing domain and

[12:47] then verify the connection. And as you can see the domain is autoconnected post everything else that you want to play around with is pretty much going to be found inside of Shopify. You want to make sure you click on every single tab

[13:03] in here so that you can familiarize yourself with the Shopify dashboard. And we definitely want to make a quick pit stop by finance so that you can activate your Shopify payments and you can also do things like add two factor

[13:16] authentication for extra security. Another thing that's important can be can decide if you want to ship domestically only in the US or if you want it to be worldwide. And that's done by setting that up in the shipping zone

[13:31] section. Personally, I like to just stick to the US, but you don't have to you prefer. But again, just make sure you take your time. Just go through each tab and just become aware of your surroundings. But y'all, we have made an

[13:45] entire store in under 10 minutes using a free AI store builder. And for the completion of setting up this entire store today, we only ended up spending store today, we only ended up spending 99. So, we still have $41 in our budget.
