[00:02] changed quite a lot in the Midnight expansion and they offer you some of the best gear progression for solo content focused players. But if you want to get earning myth crests and being able to reliably farm hero gear, you'll need to

[00:16] push up to tier 11 delves which can be quite difficult. So in this video we're going to go over 23 very useful tips and tricks to make clearing your tier 11 delves easier and faster so you can get the best rewards from your delves every

[00:29] sure to hit up that like button and subscribe so you never miss another video. One of the easiest ways to make your delve run smoother is to ensure you're getting the most out of our delve companion Valera. A common mistake that

[00:42] I see a lot is that folks just leave her as a DPS and try to manage the best they can. If you're a DPS yourself, running Valera as a DPS is probably the worst option you can choose. As a general rule of thumb, if you're a DPS, you want

[00:56] Valera to tank or heal. If you're a healer, you want Valera to tank most of the time, but DPS in some situations as well. And if you're tanking, Valera usually works best as a DPS. Personally, I've been having a very easy time with

[01:10] Valera as a tank. Not having to worry about things hitting you is quite nice. As a DPS, Valera also seems way tankier multiple packs without too much issue and holds aggro insanely well. There are

[01:24] even some healing mechanics baked into Valera's tank abilities so it's pretty easy to keep her alive even if you yourself don't have any healing spells. When you see these Valera's anguish ants pop up, you want to kill them quickly

[01:36] because every 25% health that they lose, Valera will gain 8% of her max health back. So each one you kill will heal Valera for 32% which can keep her alive much longer on tricky pulls or boss fights.

[01:51] You also have way more control over Valera than you might realize which comes in very handy when she's taking all the aggro. Valira will follow your pings. So, if you want her to pull something or you have aggro on something

[02:03] and want her to taunt it right now, you can ping mobs and she'll jump straight on them. You can also ping for her to take certain routes or wait at certain locations. So, don't forget to set up your pings in the settings. Just open

[02:16] your options menu, go to ping settings and you can enable it, adjust your settings, and set up a key bind. If you're running with Valira as a healer, there's one huge tip that can make you almost unkillable. Most of the heals

[02:28] Valira provides comes from the four blood orbs she spawns periodically. When you pick them up, you get a big heal over time effect that stacks for each orb you collect up to four. Now, you might be tempted to pick them all up and

[02:40] get the most healing right away. But, if you stagger your pickups, you can keep the heal over time effect running for longer, which means more healing long perfectly, you can actually keep your

[02:52] four stacks almost indefinitely, which can make you almost unkillable as long as you're not standing in all of the bad stuff. Another huge chunk of Valira's power comes from her equipped curios. Some of

[03:04] these are far more powerful than the others, but only if you use them in the right way. For combat curios, the strongest option is still probably the porcelain blade tip. This gives you a huge chunk of free crit chance when it

[03:16] procs, which lets you deal a bunch more damage. For utility curios, mandate of sacred death is still insanely strong. I'm surprised it hasn't been changed or nerfed yet. Whenever Valira gathers in a delve, this effect stacks up and gives

[03:29] you a good chunk of free damage. It also has a small chance to just delete quite significantly. Just make sure you take Valira to every mining and herbing gathering node in your delve, so you can stack this up. Otherwise, you're leaving

[03:44] free damage on the table. And, don't forget you can change anything about Valira's setup at any time during a delve by interacting with the Delver's Supply Box at the start of the delve or at the checkpoint halfway through. So,

[03:57] if you're struggling and your current setup just isn't working, swap a few things around, try a different curio, or roll with Valera as a tank instead of a healer or vice versa. You don't have to bash your head against a wall if things

[04:09] bash your head against a wall if things aren't working. Change things up. Make sure you're looking at your talents as well, especially if you're importing talent builds from your class guides. Most builds will focus on damage first

[04:24] and foremost, and even then, they're always general builds. So, importing a raid or mythic plus build might not be the best option when jumping into a talent trees and see if there are any extra defensive spells or utility spells

[04:38] that you can pick up that might help, like extra crowd control, slows, and roots, anything that might help you survive a bit longer or escape an unfortunate pull. You can change talents at any time during a delve as long as

[04:50] you're not in combat, so feel free to swap things around and test out some new builds. Now, if you come upon a really difficult pack that you're struggling to overcome, it's also totally valid to just wait for your cooldowns to come

[05:03] struggle outside of their major cooldowns in Midnight, so waiting a few you progress smoother, even if it's a bit slower. There are no time limits in

[05:15] delves, but you do have a limited amount of lives, which are far more important if you're still trying to unlock your tier 11 delves. It's also important to note that you do not have to kill everything. You may be

[05:27] making your delves take twice or three times as long if you're actively going out of your way to kill every enemy you come across. You can skip a shocking amount of trash mobs in delves, and just like in mythic plus, you should ideally

[05:40] aim to just and so fill up any kill requirement bars. So, if you can run around some packs of monsters or just skirt alongside a wall to avoid them entirely, do that whenever possible. If you have access to any stealth or

[05:53] invisibility spells, or want to carry around some invisibility potions, you can make good use of those to skirt around annoying monster packs, or to just speed up your run. So, don't kill what you don't have to. Completing the

[06:05] delve objectives and killing the last boss are the only things you really need to maximize your loot. You can also reset your delve at any point during a progressing through the tiers, only to step away from the game for a prolonged

[06:19] period of time, you can leave the delve and everything will reset automatically as long as no one else is still inside the instance. If you do this with a bountiful delve, it will also stay bountiful until you fully complete it.

[06:31] just don't want to complete the delve right now, you can reset them fairly loot. A useful tip for resetting your delves faster, or to just leave your delve faster at the end of your run, is that

[06:45] you can right-click your portrait and click leave delve at any time during your run. That will port you straight outside, which is much faster than running back out, or even taking the delve bot that spawns at the end. So, if

[06:57] you're running delves over and over again for experience gains, delve is journey progress farming, or you just want to move on to your next activity faster, that's the fastest way to leave your delves and get back outside. And

[07:10] then, I know delves are mostly sold as a solo content feature, but playing in a group is still viable. And in a lot of cases, it's much easier, especially if you have a tank or healer along for the ride. That way, you can have Valira fill

[07:23] the other key role and breeze through your delve runs. Nadarra and I usually run as double DPS with Valira tanking, and it works out quite well. So, if you're struggling to complete your tier 11 delves by yourself, it could be worth

[07:35] reaching out to some friends or guildies to see if anyone is interested in grouping up. There are also a whole bunch of ways to power up your character to make clearing your delves a bit easier starting with a

[07:47] Eating at the campfire for just a few seconds will give you a 5% primary stat buff, which is pretty insane for something that is essentially free. There's no reason to ever run a delve

[07:59] without this buff active, so make sure you get your campfire buff at the start throughout your run. It will be a sizable increase to your overall throughput no matter what class or spec you're playing. The same consumables

[08:12] that players use to eke out a bit more damage in their dungeon or raid runs are also just as good for delves. So, if you want to clear through delves faster, easier, and more reliably, look into the best flasks for your spec, which potions

[08:25] you can use for a big burst of damage, and you should also look into weapon oils or other weapon enhancements, which will depend on your class. They really can make a difference, especially the potions. Lining up a potion with your

[08:37] big cooldowns can create some insane burst moments to just delete entire packs of monsters. If your class doesn't have access to Bloodlust or Heroism, I would also suggest picking up some drums. Both Void Touch Drums and

[08:50] Thunderous Drums work just fine, so pick whichever is cheapest when you go to buy them. Having that extra boost of haste will help you kill bosses much faster. If you pick up nothing else, make sure you at least have a healthy stock of

[09:03] healing potions, especially if your class doesn't have any great self-heals. Healing potions will save you in a pinch, and it's basically just an extra life on a 5-minute cooldown. Now, when you're going to buy consumables, I would

[09:15] recommend you buy the lower tier or rank of items. The higher ranks might help the mythic guilds eke out that 0.5% more DPS across their entire raid to meet strict and rage timers, but for running delves or even mythic plus dungeons, the

[09:29] extra gold cost usually isn't worth it most of the time. So, just stock up on cheaper potions and flasks. There's no need to break the bank here. You should also keep your eyes peeled for any mislaid curiosities in your

[09:43] delve run and loot every single one you come across. Each one will contain a boon that provides a variety of buffs for the rest of your run, so it's just current delve that bit faster and easier. Each curiosity can also contain

[09:57] level a bit faster, as well as some other miscellaneous goodies. There are also these larger boons that you can get from the chests at the end of your delve runs. Blessing of potency increases your stats by 10% while in delves, and

[10:11] blessing of zeal gives you a chance to deal extra damage while in delves. Both of these will last for 24 hours or until you complete another delve. So really, they're just nice buffs to make your next delve run easier. If you sometimes

[10:23] struggle in your tier 11 delves, these buffs can make a big difference. Now these buffs last for 24 hours, so you don't necessarily have to log out and ready to go for another delve, but if you do still delves left to do for the

[10:38] week, either to spend some keys, fill up your weekly vault, or farm more seasonal journey progress, it's probably worth shifting your next delve up your priority list, as it will be easier with these buffs in play.

[10:50] from the delve system, you'll want to delves, but most of the rewards aren't have to work your way through the delve season one renown track by earning

[11:03] seasonal progress. At rank four, you can start to earn mythic crests from tier 11 bountiful delves. At rank five, you'll start to see a special vendor at the end of your delve runs as long as you're above tier six. That vendor can sell

[11:16] champion gear, which can help you fill in some gearing gaps. At tier eight, you can start to find champion warbound equipment at tiers nine or higher, which will make gearing up any alts incredibly quick. And at rank nine, tier 11

[11:28] bountiful delves will have a chance to drop hero gear, and you can start accumulating a new currency that lets you buy hero gear from the Delve vendor. So, at that point, you can farm hero gear straight from Delves, and as a bit

[11:40] of bad luck protection, you can buy whatever you want from the vendor as well, which is something that we have never seen before in Delves, and it makes Delves an incredible source for gearing as a solo content player.

[11:53] So, there are some very valuable rewards for working through the Delve renown track, but it's going to take forever to get up to rank nine, right? Well, not necessarily. You can farm renown progress in a few different ways. The

[12:05] will give you an item that starts a quest. The quest is to simply hand the item into the Delve headquarters in Silvermoon, and that will earn you 1,500 progress. So, make sure you hand that quest in every single week. After that,

[12:20] every bountiful Delve you complete will give you up to 250 progress at tier 11, and opening an epic Nemesis chest by killing all Nemesis packs will add another 125 to your total. You can get these sources from every bountiful Delve

[12:34] you run, even if you don't have a key to open a locked bountiful chest. You can run up to four bountiful Delves per day, so you can get 1,500 renown progress every single day just by completing your bountiful Delves on tier 11. Now, every

[12:48] locked bountiful coffer you open will have another 300 progress at tier 11 as well, so using your keys will speed things up quite a bit. And then, the will have 400 progress. So, that's another big weekly bonus. But, this

[13:03] means you don't actually have to have a key for bountiful Delves to be worth rewards from progressing through a renown track a bit earlier. Completing earn renown progress, even if you don't open the locked chests at the end. Every

[13:19] crests as well, which will help you upgrade your gear. Now, if you have any alts that you enjoy playing, this can be even faster because while your restored coffer keys are strictly limited to about six per week, that limit is per

[13:32] character. While your Delve season progress is shared across your entire account, so completing bountiful Delves on alts and using their restored coffer keys and their trove hunter's bounty maps, you can zoom through the renown

[13:44] track to earn even better rewards much faster. renown milestones, there are only a few ways to get hero gear from Delves. As above Delves, you'll be filling up your weekly vault with 259 hero gear rewards

[14:00] on reset day. To have the best chance of getting an item you can actually use, you want to fill up all three slots on the world trophy weekly vault, which requires you to complete eight Delves or other open world activities. But, you

[14:12] don't actually want to fill this up by running Delves if you don't have to. This is where the prey feature comes into play. If you want to maximize your rewards from Delves, you should also be taking part in prey for a few different

[14:24] reasons. Nightmare prey hunts count for the same weekly vault credit as a tier gear on the weekly reset. Nightmare prey gear just like tier eight or above bountiful Delves, so they're a good

[14:38] source of gear if you're a solo content-focused player. Each prey hunt well, so you won't have to farm them from other sources quite as much, and the prey weekly quest is very valuable overall. It rewards you with hero crests

[14:51] to help upgrade your gear later on, and you'll get a beacon of hope which lets you earn even better rewards from your Delve runs. The weekly quest requires which means you should only need five Delve runs to fully unlock your weekly

[15:04] vault rewards. As you complete bountiful Delves, you'll also have a chance to loot a trove hunter's bounty map, and you can only get one of these maps per week. When you use it, your next Delve run will have

[15:16] another chest at the end that has even better loot, up to 259 hero gear when used on a tier eight or above bountiful delve. So, that's an extra piece of hero gear you can get every single week as long as you can get a trove hunter's

[15:29] bounty map. But, you can remove all RNG from the equation here by using the beacon of hope item from the pray weekly quest. After you get the checkpoint in a delve, you can use the beacon to summon the delve nemesis. You can either fight

[15:42] Either way, you'll get a cache of goodies which will include your trove hunter's bounty map if you haven't gotten one for that week already. So, if can guarantee your map drop every week

[15:55] as well, which is just a free loot when used on one of your tier eight or above bountiful delves. And then the last tip I have for you is that as you level up Valera, everything will get easier and easier. Past level

[16:07] 10, each level Valera gets will give her another stack of a specific talent depending on the role you want her to fill. As a DPS, the talent increases her damage done. As a healer, it increases her healing done. And as a tank, she

[16:19] gets a health and healing bonus. So, the more delves you do, the higher level she gets, the more she can carry your runs, and the easier everything will be. Her level is also warband wide, so all of your alts will contribute to her

[16:32] leveling up, and all of your alts will benefit from that progress as well. So, clearing delves on your alts should feel easier than when your main was at the same gear level or same tier of delve progression. That should let you start

[16:44] clearing tier 11 delves on your alts much sooner in general. You also don't have to farm delves all day every day to level up your companion. You actually get a sizable chunk of bonus experience for your first delve run of the day. So,

[16:56] if you want to be efficient about it, you should run at least one delve per day, and that will get you the most experience for effort and time invested. There were some crazy grinding strats for leveling up Valera quickly early on,

[17:08] but in my experience, as long as you're just knocking out your bountiful delves each week and getting one delve in per day, you won't be too far behind, and you can save yourself from the inevitable burnout those crazy grinding

[17:20] strats will lead to. But, that's all of our tips and tricks to make your Tier 11 Bountiful Dells easier and faster to complete, which should lead to some very lucrative rewards as you work your way through the Delve Season 1 Renown Track.
