Streamer's Honest Take on Burnout and Forcing Yourself to Stream
60sStreamers and viewers alike relate to the struggle of burnout and the fear of losing audience, making this a highly relatable and shareable moment.
▶ Play Clip"The title promises a 'guide' but delivers a casual gameplay stream with no structured tutorial, making it misleading."
The video is a live gameplay stream of the game 'Emberville' (also referred to as 'Vale Sangora'), where the streamer, Ko, explores the game world, interacts with NPCs, and discusses game mechanics and personal streaming philosophy. The stream includes unboxing a collector's edition, completing quests, and engaging with chat about burnout, time management, and role-playing.
Ko starts the stream, thanks the community for 6 years and 8 months of support, and mentions unboxing a collector's edition.
The main quest involves finding out what happened to missing scouts, with a lead to a house with a pink facade.
Ko finds a ring with a family emblem, leading to a tragic revelation that the merchant's son was turned into a creature and had to be killed.
Ko encounters a recruitment call for strong men and discovers a banner item, noting it's a new feature.
Rain affects gameplay, and Ko visits a random armorer, noting the game's weather system.
Ko visits a bookshop to buy books on Vale Sangora and the Vakiri, paying for secret knowledge.
The game director of Emberville, Tiago (Mirabolus), visits the chat, and Ko praises his work, noting the CEO had to tell him to slow down.
Ko buys and reads several books, including 'How to Run a Prosperous Manor' and 'The Secret History of Vale Sengora', gaining lore and skills.
Ko declines spoilers about events, preferring to play without knowing everything to avoid second-guessing decisions.
Ko finds a note indicating guards didn't return, adding to the mystery of the missing scouts.
Ko explains he doesn't plan out game time, following his whims to avoid burnout, citing pausing Star War Zero Company as an example.
Ko discusses how he avoids burnout by not forcing himself to stream when he doesn't want to, emphasizing that making a passion a job can be draining if not managed.
Ko advises a streamer stuck on one game to plan a long transition to variety, as staying out of fear of losing audience is a bad place.
Ko finds a dying scout who reveals a winged creature killed everyone, and mentions a place called St. Teotin's.
Ko notes a bug where 'loot all' doesn't auto-open messages, unlike picking them up individually, and suggests a fix.
Ko discusses how the game's time system forces him to play as a character, not a completionist, and compares it to Persona's time system.
Ko talks with Quake, a rebel leader, about leadership and the previous leader's fate, and learns about a creature created by Francis.
Ko contrasts the time systems: Persona uses blocks of time, while this game uses time as a resource for quest outcomes.
Ko learns that Lyles didn't deliberately betray, but was outplayed, and decides to silence him without torture.
Ko plans to go to St. Teotin's with Sorrow, who is good with locks, to investigate the creature.
The stream blends gameplay with deep discussions on game design and streaming burnout, highlighting the importance of role-playing over completionism and managing passion to avoid burnout.

10:04[00:00] Okay. Are you guys ready? Cool. There we go. Let's go.
[00:14] Do, do, do, do, do, do. The cats are very confused by my clothes, but that's okay. We'll make it work. Uh, if you need a game girl. with Twitch Prime
[00:27] at Code Carnage I am so glad that I have been able to be part of this community for 80 months 6 years and 8 months you are amazing I hope you and your family are doing well well thank you V.A. it's been a pleasure
[00:39] having you here thank you thank you I really appreciate your support thank you for it awesome somebody said can you open the collector's edition too yeah yeah we can not right now let me see if I I need to get my embossing area fixed up man I wasn't expecting
[00:51] to do this today so but yeah the collector's edition I think we have a couple other things to unbox as well. We'll take a cool look. Okay. Boop. Got to get my cloak on right now.
[01:03] So we just completed this yesterday. Now we have to go find out what happened to the missing scouts. We're going to do that right now. Yes. We can seek out the house with the pink facade, I think they mentioned.
[01:17] Hello. You here to shop? Or do you have other business? This tapestry, what's that symbol on it?
[01:32] My family's emblem. Seven generations old. What's the meaning behind it? I'm not really sure. My grandfather was the last who remembered.
[01:45] But I thought of it once or twice. Well, let's say the triangle stands for the Holy Trinity. It has always protected our family. What are you doing? And the star means we will always be high.
[01:58] Huh? You like that? It's good. Inspirational. My son always liked the stories you used to make up for him. It's been a while, but I've still got it.
[02:10] Nice, dude. I found a ring with your family's emblem. Let's do this. Yeah, let's do it. I found this ring. It might be a symbol in your family's name. It might be a symbol in your family's name. Because, Lord, you found it.
[02:24] Where? A monster attacked one of the Kenyaz's blood transports. I killed it. The ring was on its finger. Oh, God. Oh, no. It was my son's.
[02:36] Oh, no. You're saying you killed him? He wasn't human anymore. It was him or me.
[02:48] and you already know what happened because I chose to tell you not human how can you even oh my god oh god
[03:00] I've got to close the shop now and go tell my wife I understand take your time
[03:18] Wait, that was it? Oh. Oh, wait until the merchant reopens his shop. Connor, man. Sorry, dude.
[03:32] Um. Go this way. What'd I do now? I, his, his son was turned into some kind of horrible creature, and you had to kill him.
[03:47] Yeah. Not, not great. Thank you, Triwar. Appreciate it, buddy. And thank you, NettyAim and Susan.
[04:04] I go through here? I think I should go down, don't I? Oh, no!
[04:16] I can't go through here! I'm sorry! Oh, I'm stuck! Oh my god. Day is starting off in the bang, chap.
[04:43] Wait! Fuck you! Yoyink!
[04:56] I need several strong, dependable men to report to my camp. I'll be entrusted with my most precious cargo, wondrous treasures from the deepest paths. Uh, yeah, I want all that.
[05:11] Oh, this was the banner thing. We haven't done one of these yet. Okay.
[05:25] Sorry, guys. Howdy, princess. Yeah. Howdy, jerkface.
[05:37] Is that a cozy cloak? It's very cozy. Yeah. Super nice. Great pick. Super thick.
[05:56] I do like them thick.
[06:10] Dude my stamina barely goes down anymore. Dang those runner brains were crazy. My God, shit! Everything's going to get wet again! Don't get hung, you're right.
[06:22] Oh, good morning. Hello. My God, isn't this a little too much of a problem? You are a little too much. You really always have a headache when it's raining.
[06:34] Hail moon! Rain threatening world. Hmm. Rain threatening world. Advertisement. What can I get you today? This is a random armorer.
[06:46] I'll see you around. Right. Here's the house with the pink facade. This one? That pink? It's kind of reddish to me.
[07:00] Hmm. Whoa, that's uncomfortable. Hi. Oh, joy. What do you need, friend?
[07:15] Rabbi, by your amount of vast knowledge and of rare volumes. Any reason for stating the obvious? I was wondering if you had any books on the history of Vale Sangora,
[07:28] or the Vakiri? Hmm. I wonder why. It's more of a personal matter. All right. But secret knowledge comes at a price.
[07:40] And I'm not only talking about the dangers it involves. I have coins. Good. You can browse my collection any time you want. Perhaps some of my books have the answers you seek.
[07:53] Wow. That's a little, uh... I can tell you, or you can buy my books and read. Just show me your collection. Wow.
[08:05] Sure. Have a look. Just don't blame me if what you find leaves you... unsettled. hmm ooh
[08:18] okay, so we can get some good stuff here see if we can make some money oh, we can sell this stuff
[08:34] I don't, can I sell this saint stuff? yeah, I can sell this stuff Oh, I can't fill that one. Okay, cool. That's good.
[08:47] Uh, okay. Um, we're already good on Burning Blood. I do like Wishcraft abilities deal more damage.
[09:05] Mercurial Favor would be good. Cycle of Ruin I want for sure. Hmm.
[09:19] Hmm. Get that one.
[09:33] We've already unlocked three of three of those, so we're good there. Okay. Hmm.
[09:47] This is not the quest we're doing right now. Interesting, you know. I feel like we should try to buy all these books.
[10:04] Hey Mira This is the game director of Emberville Hey hey at co and chat Just passing by really quick before our daily meeting to say this weekend made the team very happy
[10:17] Thank you for being a part of this co. People don't know your importance in the production chain, but I know and appreciate it so much. Also, wishlist Emberville everyone. To you all. Dude, thank you, Mira.
[10:29] it's been awesome man I have so many people messaging me about how excited they are for early access it's gonna be magical
[10:42] I can't wait, I can't wait I was just talking this morning about a oh no, to be clear, I call him Mira because his username is Mirabolus, that is Tiago that is the game director of Emberville and also to be clear
[10:54] this man has been busting ass so much that the CEO has literally had to have been like, dude, you need to slow down. Like, we are... He is one of the reasons Emberville is cruising at the rate that it is.
[11:11] So we appreciate it, man. It's only thanks to him that EA is going to get here in, like, any kind of a functional state, let's be real. Like, he has been amazing. So, yeah, thank you, Vera, for everything you're doing, dude, for me and every single person who is going to enjoy this game.
[11:25] Because, yeah, I call him the studio. And I'm co-creative lead. But Mira is the guy who's actually bringing this vision into reality.
[11:37] So, the real heroes of this operation. So, we really appreciate it, man. Thanks for everything you're doing, Mira. Okay, so we just got more hits in of Cycle of Ruin. That's excellent.
[11:49] We want to get that up as high as we can. I still need to buy more Soul Reaping. I want this skill to be much better than we have it now. Did he have a soul reaping? He didn't have a soul reaping, did you?
[12:01] I was just thinking. Show me your collection, Joe. He did have a soul reaping. Okay, good. So let's grab that. It's expensive, but I want it.
[12:16] I think everything else is pretty much good. Let's read all of our books, too. Oh. There we go.
[12:28] There's so close. Great. How much are these books that we haven't read? Are they like hundreds or are they like tens?
[12:43] 57, 33, 37. Oh, these are the same thing. How to Run a Prosperous Manor, The Secret History of Vale Sengora, A Blood Soup Recipe,
[12:55] this one, more History of El Sangora and the Forever Stone. Alright, let's see. Oh, this is like the Alchemist Stone.
[13:07] The Alchemist Stone, yeah. Okay, okay. History of El Sangora. The Veil Thing. Hessie, does it call it the Bad Hair Day? I do. Does it call it the Bad Hair Day?
[13:20] No, you're not. the blood of the Dom Walker guys gave me a cloak. This is a cloak they gave me in the press kit that we unboxed this morning. It was very cool of them. It's an actual cloak. It doesn't have sleeves.
[13:32] I love it. Lazy and insidious by their very nature, viewers must constantly be disciplined, and not just after their mods, but before it.
[13:45] And that way they shall remember the punishment for misbehaving. Of course, we must still keep the viewers in relatively good shape, or else they'll lose strength to watch. Therefore, I advise mods!
[13:59] A few lashes are gained by the mods, and one proper beating from them per week! Preferably before our chapel, for our church is great. So that the preventative lashing is followed by a mea culpa, and a call for Twitch Prime right away.
[14:17] Wonderful. Wonderful. Our church is great. Okay. So, I don't know if we... We didn't get, like, a quest update or anything from him. That's interesting. I wonder if this dude is, like, hinting us at a hidden quest.
[14:31] Hmm. Let's keep doing what we're doing now. Oh! There's a house to the princess. Yeah. I think that's the place.
[14:44] Here we go. We're safe. Uh, babe! Superchant. Don't want to spoil anything, but do you want to know which events to do for each kind of book without buying them?
[14:58] Uh, no. I don't think so. No. Yeah, thank you for asking before doing that.
[15:10] No, I think I'm good. It's a fun time now. Yeah, I'm already planning on playing this game again at some point. So, I think, honestly, I'm almost to the point where I don't want to know what other things do,
[15:26] and I'm not really, like, because of the time system, I'm very much playing this game just as a whatever happens happens. Right? Whatever happens happens. Like, I'm really trying to play the game like that, and I normally never play a game like that.
[15:39] So, it's a little tough for me. We're a little out of our comfort zone, but we're making it happen. But because of that, I feel like the less I know about the other stuff, the better. Like, then I don't have a pull to go do it.
[15:51] Then I don't second-guess my decisions, you know? So, please don't let me know about that stuff. Yeah. I don't even know. It's okay. Once we finish our next playthrough,
[16:04] then we can talk about everything that we haven't done. Because I feel like at that point, we'll have seen, like, both the major sides, and we can kind of, like, really talk about it then. Yeah.
[16:17] Hollow hearts and a pickle. Okay. We're talking about hollow hearts. Interesting. Quite a mess. I think something interrupted that meal.
[16:31] Oh, yeah, chat. If you could do me a favor today and let the anger flow through you. That would be great. I'd really appreciate it. Thank you.
[16:43] All right. I mean, if you are as well. Can do. Awesome. okay really
[16:56] hold on that's that's letting the hate flow through you is that what it is he says you dang zoomers
[17:08] okay jeez Crumpled note.
[17:24] Evening. Oh, they're watching the guards. Look at that. Midnight. Large shape spotted on walls. What the hell was it? B and Z still not back. Interesting.
[17:36] So he left a note saying that the guards actually didn't come back. Now keep in mind, I think the dude is being tortured because they're convinced he knows where those guys are. And we may have just found a note that says maybe he didn't could feel the street
[17:54] Right here fat blood actually next to the car Is there gonna be a fight waiting for us down here? No, look at that, it's bad blood.
[18:10] Hey everything's good down here, right? Yeah Everybody put your hands up and chase them to the right for now! There's no pain in the pool of blood.
[18:22] Uh oh. I mean it sure... Some of the scouts must have dropped it during the fight. Yeah dude, if we make it to Z-Com tonight, I absolutely will wear this during it.
[18:38] Oh, no question. Dude, this guy was bleeding a lot.
[18:58] I think you're right. He was trampled by an angry herd. Do you plan out how much time you're spending on each game at the moment? Nope, not at all. that's one of the things that unfortunately I kind of have to deal with
[19:16] with the way that I stream is I have to I know that I'm playing a game as long as I'm enjoying it but at any moment that could change at any moment I could just be like
[19:28] you know what there's other games I want to play and if I keep streaming this I'm not going to enjoy it which means the viewers aren't going to enjoy it and like I have to factor that in. So every playthrough is basically like I go in saying if I like
[19:42] it I'm gonna finish it but if at any point something else comes up I want to do I gotta do it. So because of that I don't really I don't really make hard plans. I've learned enough about myself to know that that's how it works. So yeah.
[19:57] I mean that was one of the reasons, I mean a perfect example is I literally put Star War Zero Company on pause I made a whole ass YouTube video saying like I putting this game on pause I might be back to it later and then sure enough the next day I sitting there going damn it I still want
[20:17] to play that game damn it and now we've done like four streams since and I'm playing it again so it just happens man you gotta follow the whims you know gotta follow the whims oh here we go this is it
[20:33] My budge. It's locked from the other side. Hmm. Hmm? It must be him.
[20:50] Dear God. What did this? A human just... Whoa. That was wacky. Perhaps. Let's see if any of them are still alive.
[21:03] Yeah? Look for a pulse. Decapitated. Clean cut.
[21:16] This one's been disheaded. This one's been dislegged. Oh. Oh! Someone was disarmed. Look at that.
[21:29] There it is. Okay. warehouse stock oh I should have tested you have to test that so carrots
[21:41] cabbages potatoes something coming off
[22:00] he was crushed by such a great force that even a rat can't discover this Rafe Kine says Coe, is there ever a time as a streamer
[22:12] that you find that you really do not want to stream that day or just have to quote put on a show but do it because it's your job or do you enjoy it most every day? Rafe Kine, I am one of the very fortunate in my life that I have found a job that is also my hobby and my passion
[22:26] so for me like in a lot of ways, me turning the stream on is the exact same kind of escape that many of you come to the stream for.
[22:39] And, you know, I look forward every single day to coming down here and playing games with you guys. And the fact that I make money for it is pretty great, too.
[22:51] So, it's, no, no, I'm very happy about this. Yeah, and I have to say, though, to put it bluntly, you know, I've been doing this 13 years, and I still love doing it every day.
[23:04] I've had good friends who have streamed for years and then gotten to the point where they just dread hitting that start streaming button. Like, the idea of them going live gives them stress, makes them uncomfortable.
[23:19] Like, I am baffled that I have not gotten any of that in my 13 years. because I see it over and over. I think there's a lot to do with how I manage my burnout that makes it so I don't feel that way.
[23:32] That's my best guess. But, you know, that's the kind of thing where if I started this stream up and didn't want to stream, you would know it. I can't, I can't, that's not something I'd be able to hide.
[23:45] And also, that sounds miserable. Because at that point, this really does, if I were to, that's when this really starts becoming a job, is when you get on and you force yourself to do it when you don't want to do it. Like that's how you burn out. That's how you do it is by forcing yourself to do something you normally enjoy. And by doing that, you start just draining your battery in terms of how much you can connect to that thing that you do. So, no, but it's funny because I'm saying this about streamers, but this is for any person that has a job that becomes their passion.
[24:18] like you hear all the time like turn your passion into your job make your hobby your job right but I mean this is not a streamer thing this is just a this is this is a human thing where managing burnout and leaning into things you like for long periods of time can do terrible things to
[24:36] you if you if you don't do it right so yeah it's um but no I'm lucky enough to say that I'm one of the ones that I I if anything I like doing it more these days than I do 13 years ago
[24:48] I don't know why I'm very fortunate and thankful of that but I'm a kid who grew up playing I've spent more time playing video games than anything else since I've been like nine
[25:00] it's just what I do so writing games because I know a streamer who is literally burnt out from one video game he streams any advice to that person they feel they will lose all their audience if they change games Brandon's I hate to say it but that is that is one of the worst
[25:13] places a streamer can be in even large streamers get into that position it's not easy to deal with. But we could talk about an hour, for an hour, I really want to focus on this right now,
[25:26] but we could talk for an hour about advice on how to do that and how to transition from single game to variety and all sorts of stuff. But it's just one of those things that coming up with a really good game plan and putting a lot of thought into it beforehand
[25:38] and giving yourself a long runway to transition is the best advice I would give him. Yeah. Oh wow, poor streamers, boohoo. Oh, I, nothing that I'm saying is meant to be like streaming is so hard.
[25:52] We're just talking about human burnout issues. Not, this is, this is not a low as me. I've been playing video games for 13 years. No, no, none of that. None of that. We're just, we're just talking about any, any person doing any profession that is something they love to do without getting paid for it.
[26:11] Like that's, that's more of just a human thing than a streamer thing. Mm-hmm. Hey, wait. Yeah, one sec. Oh!
[26:24] He blinked! Jesus Christ! I... I... What's your name? Voyage.
[26:36] Lie still, boy. You're bleeding. No, Craig! He sent me here. Don't move. He's not dying. He has to know. That thing killed everyone.
[26:49] A muron? Is Lyos here with you? Lyos? No. It didn't come back. It must have killed him. What do you mean by that thing?
[27:03] What was it? It was so fast. It couldn't escape. The wing had damaged its wing. It killed him. You must tell Greg.
[27:15] It killed him. Wait, who's tear-tinted? They, they're building an army. Here's a, someone's coming.
[27:29] Whoa.
[27:46] Come on.
[28:16] God, I'm afraid that the tap-a-cake killed so badly.
[28:38] Sure, we found it anywhere. Man, the balls on that guy to say that and then charge. Jeez, I hope I go out that epically.
[28:53] Wow. Oh, perfect, Abazie. I just saw your thing, man. Nice. Nice. Thanks very much for that, Abazie.
[29:08] Abazi actually sent me a message and a question about the ultrawide stuff, and it looks like it's something we covered. Mm-hmm. Okay, so here's what I'm going to do. If you loot all, it does not open the thing.
[29:24] So if we just loot this manually, that's what it is. They need to change that. They need to make it so whenever you loot a message with loot all, it also triggers it.
[29:36] because there's no reason you don't want to read a new message in this game. That's just, there's no reason. Like, you always want to. So, yeah, man. I hope they change that.
[29:49] I miss reading a lot of stuff when I was supposed to, so I didn't realize it wasn't opening. Because if you pick it up in the gaming world, it opens automatically. If you pick it up by itself, it opens automatically. But if you pick it up with other loot, it doesn't.
[30:02] So, that's weird. That's a discrepancy that doesn't seem like it's right. if the others didn't open automatically then whatever the devs just want you to open it yourself but the fact that those open automatically that shows me that probably a bug that probably a bug what if there more messages in the loot pile Then open them up Serially You close one the other opens Have the player be able to
[30:23] read the stuff on loot. Absolutely. No reason not to. You just hit a state twice. Right? Whatever. Let it go. Have a little queue.
[30:38] Are you guys going to aggro me? No. Where is Quake? Back here? Sure.
[30:51] Oh, wait. We're coming back as a vampire. Oh, no. They know we're a vampire. They don't care. Okay. Well, they maybe don't care is a big way to say it. They know I'm a vampire. There we go.
[31:05] Do you find it hard to know that you will not be able to complete everything? I did at the beginning. because I told myself, and I feel like I've been conditioned as a gamer to know that if you turn things down, you miss content.
[31:20] So there was a part of me at the start of this game that was really stressed out, and honestly, I wasn't having a great time because I kept telling myself, if I don't play the game properly, I'm going to lose out on content.
[31:34] However, at the beginning, I kind of forced myself to change my mindset, and we did get some really good examples in how in this game you don't really lose content you just change content
[31:46] so that has made it a lot easier for me to just enjoy this game for what it is I'm not going for anything in particular
[31:58] I'm just playing my character how I feel he would be in this game world I'm reacting to situations as they happen instead of planning out like a route so this time system has forced me to
[32:10] play this game this type of game differently than I ever would but so far it's been pretty awesome yep so that's kind of where we are with that
[32:22] and I'm very curious to get to the end of this game because I'm wondering if I'm going to feel the same way at the end too we'll see
[32:37] Hey, bud.
[32:52] Wake up before it's too late? It's about leeches? Oh, oh, oh, that's rebel material. That's what that is. Okay. Okay.
[33:04] Report on diversions. Well, Klaus heeded my advice to quit the rebel antics, only to join Brancis' forces. Good.
[33:16] Yes, I'm listening. Give in to the hunger! So what's your real name? We don't know each other that well yet. You know my name.
[33:29] That's on you. You could have introduced yourself as just the Dawnwalker, but you didn't. Becoming the Manunet's leader? That couldn't have been easy.
[33:42] It just happened. Uh huh. How come? Neculi, the old guy at the helm of the Valkyrie caught him. Tortured him for weeks, then skinned him alive at the Svartlau market for all to see. I was the only one foolish enough to replace him.
[34:01] Weren't you afraid? even if I were. No leader should admit that openly, right? Hmm. Uh, I like how you said that. And yeah, I agree with that.
[34:13] That's a good way to say it. I pro-carnage. That's a pretty interesting observation and a great way to help people handle the game better, too. I also like to try and make sure I find and do everything in a game. This game has shifted you from playing a game to playing a role,
[34:27] which is a pretty impressive feat and a good one in an RPG. Yep. After all, role-playing is right in the title. That is pretty much exactly how I feel. Like, I'm not playing this game as Ko, the gamer,
[34:40] who wants to complete everything on the map, who wants to see every quest because it's content, who wants to, you know, like, that's like the gaming perspective. I'm playing it as the character. I'm playing it as Koen. He goes to where he sees.
[34:53] He's not, like, planning out routes to come, you know, just meticulously do everything. He's just acting how he would act, right? And that's how we've been playing it. And frankly, it's working.
[35:05] It's working. Yeah. Do you trust Drogoth? Why wouldn't I? He questions you. Openly. I'd rather have him question me than only tell me things I want to hear.
[35:18] Rude story. You know, for Gransys, Drogoth served Kanyaz Skender. He was one of his best soldiers. But he doesn't want to lead. He isn't exactly a people person.
[35:30] Yeah, I noticed that. Why do they call you Quake? Well, someone once told me Quakes are notoriously hard to spot and deliver secrets of life.
[35:43] Oh, seems fitting for a rebel leader I suppose. The name clung to me before I took on the role. Oh, who gave it to you then? A former friend. Let's leave it at that.
[35:57] So, would you compare the time system in this game to the one in Persona? Uh, no. No, the time system in Persona is almost like little sandboxes that are separated by a time mechanic,
[36:15] and then you can kind of do everything you want in the sandbox. Granted, you have to pick some stuff, and that's a big deal, but because, like, I mean, there are similarities. there's absolutely similarities.
[36:28] Especially when you factor in the fact that you have to, like, spend time in Persona to train your skills, kind of like you do here, which I don't like in this one, but, you know, makes sense in Persona. But I think in this game it's a little bit different because the time in this game is a resource
[36:44] where the time in Persona is, like, actual blocks of time. So at least for me, it has a completely different vibe, if that makes sense. Like, it doesn't...
[36:56] I feel like the time system in this game is a lot more incremental than in Persona, which is more just like this overarching container of activities. The time system is way more impactful in Persona, for instance,
[37:11] where in this game, it's more used as, like, a quest delivery system or an outcome delivery system, where you only have so many resources to get the outcomes you want,
[37:23] and you have to spend that resource to get the outcome, to choose which outcomes you influence. So, different perspectives, but similar mechanics. The scout didn't desert you.
[37:35] It's a cool conversation. There are a lot of similarities. Why? I ruled out. I'm sorry. I honestly thought they'd betrayed us. Shit.
[37:47] No, I thought, I wish they had. How? How did it happen? Whatever killed them was no mere human. A vikir?
[37:59] I suspected so myself, but the wounds didn't match. They were crushed. Torn to pieces. Fucking hell. What did this then?
[38:11] Hmm. Francis has crafted... something. A winged creature. Deadly. Did you see it? No. One of your scouts.
[38:23] Oh, yeah. Those were his last words. He also kept mentioning someone named Teotin. Teotin. Teotin. I don't think that's a someone.
[38:36] It is somewhere. St. Teotin's. The old church in the middens. Oh. Oh. Better check it out, then. The sooner, the better, yes. But first, I need to know.
[38:48] Was Lyles responsible for what happened? I found evidence he picked up the soldiers, but it wasn't deliberate.
[39:04] He didn't mean to betray you. Actually, he tried to play them, but outplayed instead. That's even worse. Bloody idiot. I'll have Dogos cut out his tongue.
[39:23] I agree he needs to be silenced, but not through torture. Name him, and he'll go straight to Francis at the first chance he gets. We won't give him a chance, then. No.
[39:35] Now get ready for midnight. That's not what we meant! Sorrow will come to St. Teotins with us. She's good with locks. It might come in handy. Damn.
[39:47] Okay, well... Sorry, Leos! What do you think we'll find her? My bad, dude. You can't be sorry. Did Brian mention anything Well, I guess that's how that man's couldn't stumble Okay Hey Quasimodo, what's up buddy?
[40:00] I have a point in speculating then If St. Hayton's another man you might hide out or a rendezvous point No, it's just an old ruin Completely abandoned as far as I know
[40:12] As far as you know I'm ready now Let's head to St. Hayton's together Very well I'll fight to Zara and will set off after dark. Oh, wait!
