[00:02] dollar investments are happening simultaneously in the market and this is not a coincidence. And if you believe me, a huge hiring wave is going to come in the financial year 2026 to 27. But not everyone is going to get a place in it. Look, recently Microsoft has announced to

[00:16] invest ₹1.5 lakh crore in India. And not just Microsoft, Google has also committed $ billion for 5 years. And Amazon has overshadowed everyone. He is going to invest $35 billion in India. Just in the next 5 years.

[00:30] But the twist here is that on one hand these companies are investing billions of dollars in India and on the other hand TCS, Intel and Microsoft themselves have laid off thousands of people in 2025. So this question must have come to the mind of many of you that what is

[00:43] going on in the market? Should we be happy about the billions of dollars of investments or serious after hearing the news of Leo? So in this video I will talk about this topic and will tell you

[00:57] What is the scene of data centers? If there are layoffs, how is hiring happening and substantively what skills should you learn now that will take you ahead in this digital web. I will also give a suggestion which can directly make you job ready. So friends welcome

[01:11] to Skills or India's most relatable AI Tech and Career channel. Microsoft CEO Satya Nadej met Prime Minister Modi in New Delhi and

[01:27] there he announced that he will Microsoft's biggest investment ever in the whole of Asia. Never before has Microsoft invested so much money in Asia at one go. Now let's see where this money will go.

[01:42] Microsoft is building a massive India South Central cloud region in Hyderabad that will launch by mid-2026. This will be their largest hyper scale region in India. In fact, apart from this, the existing data center regions in Chennai, Hyderabad and Pune will

[01:55] also be expanded for better performance. And an interesting fact here is that Microsoft has committed to train 2 crore Indians in AI skills by 2030 and their Advantage India

[02:08] program has already started. And in fact, from January 2025 till now, a total of 56 lakh people have already been trained. And out of these trained people, more than 1.25 lakh people have already got jobs or entrepreneurial opportunities.

[02:21] According to Microsoft's official data. But look, no matter how big the numbers are, you have to understand that all these are not just announcements. This is the actual ground reality that I am telling you. And as I mentioned earlier, Microsoft is

[02:33] not alone in this race. Google announced in October 2025 that it will invest $5 billion in India over the next 5 years. And that too not at any random place. Google is building its first AI hub

[02:45] in India in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh. And this will be their largest AI hub in the world outside the US. A data centre campus with 1 gigat capacity will be built in it. This means that there will be so much demand for computing power and electricity that you cannot even imagine. And then Amazon has

[02:59] broken all these records too. Recently in December 2025, it was announced in the Amazon Summit that Amazon will invest $35 billion in India by 2030. And Amazon is n't just focusing on data centers. They are

[03:18] is to enable exports worth $80 billion for Indian businesses by 2030. Now wait a minute and think, just three companies Microsoft, Google and Amazon together are investing approximately $77 billion in India. Just in the next four to six years.

[03:32] And let me tell you that this amount is so huge that it is the question arises, why is all this happening?

[03:44] ? And what does this mean for us Indians ? Let us first understand what a data center is? Many people think that this is some technical thing which is not related to us. But he is wrong. When you wake up in the morning and read a good morning message on WhatsApp,

[03:57] where does that message come from? If you are currently watching this video on YouTube, you transfer money to someone from Google Pay, where does that transaction process take place ? The answer to all this is data centers. Data center means a building like a joint warehouse

[04:11] in which thousands of servers are installed and run 24*7 and all your and my data is stored in it. From photos, videos to messages, transactions, payment details, everything and not just stories, it also processes them.

[04:24] So when you ask a question to Chat GBT, computing that answer requires massive computing power and that power is provided by data centers. When you watch movies on Netflix in high quality without buffering, that seamless

[04:37] So basically data centers are the backbone of our digital economy and the more digital activity there is, the more data centers will be required. Now look, the more data centers will be required. Now look, the

[04:51] China all have 100s of data centers. China has approximately more than 400 data centers. But India currently has only around 150 data centres. Meaning it is far behind China. But this number is going to increase very rapidly

[05:04] in the next four to five years. And here's an interesting angle I want to tell you. Due to Donald Trump's policies in the USA, a silent migration of data centers has started.

[05:19] companies have realized that depending solely on the USA is risky. Plus, labor costs are high in the USA, power is expensive and regulations are also tight. So companies themselves are looking for alternatives and India has become a perfect alternative.

[05:32] are more than 900 million internet users in India and this number is going to reach 1.2 billion by 2030. According to industry estimates. Secondly, e-commerce is being explored in India. Digital payments are growing. Streaming services,

[05:46] gaming, and online education are all growing rapidly. And the more digital activities increase, the more data centers will be needed. Third, there is a lot of abundant land available in India for setting up data centers. There is limited space in Europe.

[05:58] Singapore is oversaturated. Japan is very expensive. But there is space in India and that too at affordable prices. The fourth point is power cost. Electricity in India is relatively affordable compared to Europe

[06:10] and other developed countries. Plus India is investing in renewable energy capacity which is crucial for data centres as they consume a lot of power. And the fifth and subcentre point is talent. There is a huge supply of skilled

[06:22] engineers, data scientists, cloud architects in India. And which is also cost effective. So basically all these factors together are making India a data center hub. And according to a report by Business Standard,

[06:35] India's data centre market can cross $ billion we have talked about investments. Now let's move to the other side of the story where companies are continuously making LEOs. Look friends, it is important to understand the Leos scene

[06:50] because if there is no clarity in it then you can take wrong decisions for your career. So look, in 2025, more than 1 lakh tech employees have been laid off globally tech employees have been laid off globally across 250 companies. And this data is from the LEOs.5

[07:03] tracker, which continuously monitors tech layoffs. And India-specifically, part of restructuring. Oracle India laid off approximately 2,800 employees, which is about 10% of its India workforce.

[07:18] Ola cut 1000 employees and apart from these, ZPTO, Cars 24, MPL and many such companies together fired around 1000 to 2000 employees across different teams. So it is natural to feel scared that if so many LEOS are happening then

[07:31] how will the career remain safe? But it is important to understand one thing here. The type of people being laid off are employees with repetitive non-AI skills. And the people who were manually doing data entry, testing , simple coding are being

[07:45] replaced by automation and AI. Plus, companies are unable to retain high-cost employees who are because they are under pressure to maintain profitability. But along with this, hiring is also taking place. Infosys has announced that it will hire 20,000 freshers

[07:58] in fiscal year 2025-26 and the is that more than 1.5 lakh entry level positions will open in 2025. So if you look at it, People are being replaced with skills that are outdated. But

[08:18] want to tell you that if you seriously want to future proof your career then there is one skill which is in the highest demand right now and that is Data Analytics. Because look when Microsoft, Google, Amazon are all building these data centers. And

[08:31] they are not building these centers just to store data. He is creating data to analyze and models are being built to train. Business decisions are being made to take. So naturally the demand for data analyst and data scientist is going to increase very rapidly. And the

[08:44] best part is that people with non-tech background can also enter this field if they get proper training. So I would like to suggest you a course which I recently saw and I genuinely liked. This

[08:56] is a complete data analyst course from Skillsia and the best part is that the entire who do not understand English medium courses or they feel more comfortable in Hindi, then this course is perfect for them because the trainer has

[09:09] explained the entire course content in Hindi. From Excel to Python, SQL to Power BI, everything is covered in it and not just theory, it also has real industry projects which you can make your portfolio. There are mock interviews.

[09:21] Resume building guidance with actual experts. There is also job assistance And the trainer of this course is himself a working data scientist who is a graduate from IIT Delhi and has 5 years of industry experience. So they are

[09:34] teaching the same things that happen in the real world. It is 5 years. Meaning once you enroll, you will have access to it for 5 years. Plus, regular updates are also available including the latest techniques of AI tools and

[09:47] chat JBT integration. Talking about investment, normally this course costs ₹8 to ₹100 but currently there is an offer going on on it. Plus if you use discount code LIMITED30 then you will get this course for just ₹5,200

[10:00] and this course is really helpful. Considering that the demand for data analysts is going to increase very rapidly every day. So you will find the link of the course in the description and pin comment. And if you seriously want to upgrade your career then

[10:12] definitely watch this once. Now let us come back to our main topic that which exactly jobs are going to be created and how much salary you can expect. So friends, when both direct and indirect jobs are created. Direct jobs are

[10:25] those required to run data centers, such as cloud engineers, data center operators, network specialists, and cybersecurity experts. And created in its supporting industries. Such as in construction,

[10:38] logistics, power supply, telecommunications, software development and Microsoft has said that they will train 20 million Indians in AI skills by 2030. Apart from this, Amazon has also said that its investment will

[10:52] support approximately 3.8 million jobs. Some directly, some indirectly and some seasonally. And Google estimates that their data center will create around 18,80,000 jobs. So if you look at it quantitatively,

[11:06] important thing is to understand what kind of jobs will be in demand. And the number one role in this is perfect for entry level people. Meaning, even if you are a fresher and have learned data analytics, you can easily are a fresher and have learned data analytics, you can easily

[11:21] earning Rs 8 to 15 lakh in this field. And talking about skills, you should have knowledge of Excel, SQL, Python, Power VI or WW and basic statistics. Number two is the data scientist role. This is at a slightly advanced level and its

[11:33] starting salary is also around 6 to 10 lakhs per annum and its experienced professionals also earn 15 to 25 lakhs easily and its skills include Python, Machine Learning, Statistics, SQL, Deep Learning etc. Number

[11:46] three, cloud engineer or cloud architect. When so many cloud regions are being created, then naturally the demand for cloud professionals will also increase whose starting salary is 5 to 8 lakhs and experienced people can earn up to 12 to 20 lakhs and for this

[11:59] certifications and knowledge of DevOps and networking. Number four is AI because in this you can get an offer of 6 to 12 lakhs per annum in the beginning itself

[12:12] and experienced professionals can reach up to 30 lakhs plus. Whose skills requirement includes Python, Tange Flow, PyTorch, NLP, Computer Vision etc. And at number five is cyber security specialist. It

[12:24] is very important to keep data senders secure. Therefore, there will be a boom in the demand for cyber security experts also. Whose salary starts from 4 to 7 lakhs. But for experienced people it goes up to 10 to 20 lakhs. And here I

[12:36] also want to share the data of a government report. NITI Aayog, consider it as the think tank of the government. It released a report and according to that report, AI will create 4 million i.e. 40 lakh new jobs in India in the next 4 years only and in this, majority of jobs will be included like

[12:49] AI Engineers, Propt Engineers, AI Ethics Specialists, Robotics Engineers, NLP Engineers etc. And it's not just projections. Its ground reality is already visible. According to Lindin's data, there are over 1 million

[13:02] active job listings for Python skills. This means that the demand is very high but qualified candidates are less and companies are desperate to find skilled people due to which freshers are also getting opportunities

[13:14] and if they have the right skills and a good portfolio then this is an opportunity window in which if you get prepared then you can go a long way but how to get prepared, what should be learnt, which skills should be focused on in priority,

[13:29] I will tell all this in detail now but first understand one important point, when I was telling the data of layouts then there was a pattern in it which you probably did not notice. Those who were fired were mostly from middle management to senior level who had

[13:41] outdated skills. And the people who are getting hired now are freshers or experienced people who know how to work on AI data cloud. Its meaning is simple. Your outdated. And if the skills

[13:54] are updated then freshers can also get opportunities. So now the question is landscape. Look friends, let me give you a realistic action plan. This is not a motivational talk. These are practical steps which if you follow, you

[14:07] your first priority should be to develop data skills. Because the whole world is now becoming a data economy and every company today is taking data driven decisions. Whether it's in marketing, finance , operations, HR, or

[14:20] anywhere else, understanding data is essential. So start with data analytics because that's the entry point and I assume you already know a little bit about Excel. Just take it to the advanced level. Learn Pivot Tables and Macros. Then

[14:34] learn SQL which is required to extract data from the database. After that learn Python basics. Specially data analysis libraries like Pandas Numpy, Mat Plot Leap then come the visualization tools.

[14:49] probability, distribution, hypothesis, testing. And it will take 3 to 6 months to learn all this. If you are seriously giving 2 to 3 hours daily. So don't just stop at technical skills. Focus on your soft skills as

[15:01] well. Now let's talk about the timeline. If you are a college student then now is the best time for you to start. join internships after completing it. This will also give you real world experience. Plus the

[15:14] already a working professional and want to switch to another field, then want to switch to another field, then Then start applying directly. And if you are unemployed, confused,

[15:29] only for skill development and do intense learning for three to five months, build portfolio, optimize Lindin , do networking and then start job hunting. And the most important thing I want to say is that these data

[15:44] centers will start becoming operational from 2026. Microsoft's region in Hyderabad will launch in mid-2026. Google is setting up in Visakhapatnam which will probably be activated by 2027 and Amazon is also expanding very fast. This means that there will be a

[15:58] massive hiring wave in 2026 to 27. So if you get ready before that, that is, in about 6 to 8 months from now, then in 2026 to 27, when hiring will be at its peak, then you will be able to take the first mover advantage. And the first mover advantage is huge because when

[16:11] demand is high and supply is low, candidates have negotiating power , better roles and growth also happens faster. But if you spend time thinking or keep procrastinating, then by the time you are ready,

[16:26] many people would already have entered the market. Competition will increase and your advantage will decrease. So don't wait to be perfect. Start today. Take small steps. Make daily progress and just be consistent. And I would personally recommend that if you

[16:39] seriously want to upgrade your career in this data field, then the course that I a solid starting point for you. Check the link, description and pin are in the comment and don't forget to use discount limited 30 code while taking the course.

[16:53] Now look friends, Microsoft, Google, Amazon has done its work. He has invested billions of dollars. Now it's your turn to invest in yourself. So do one thing, after the video ends, don't think, take action.

[17:05] Enroll for the course and start your journey today and like the video if you found it helpful. subscribe to the channel and press the bell icon so that you do keep learning, keep growing. This is skills.
