Meditations to Transform Your Relationship with God

[00:02] [music] and hear from him. I will speak to you and I will pray. I will share with you how God touched me and you will see his fingerprints.

[00:22] They asked each other, "Were not our hearts burning within [music] us while he talked with us on the road and opened the scriptures to us?" the scriptures to us?" Luke 24:32

[00:37] As you read these pages, God will touch you, too. And as you feel his touch, you, too, will speak to God and pray.

[00:49] At the end of the day, we will see the fingerprints of God in every moment of the day, every words I wrote, everything I thought, [music] the feelings that you experience.

[01:04] but someone [music] who is with us, whom we can experience and speak to. I ask for the gift [music] of his spirit and I believe he honors our sincere prayers asking for his [music] Holy

[01:19] If you then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven who ask him? Luke 11:13

[01:35] At the end of the day, you and I will be like the two men who walked with Jesus on the road to Emmaus after he resurrected from the grave. They at first did not recognize it was Jesus who was walking and talking with

[01:50] them on the road. They thought they were just talking about Jesus. At the end of the day, when it was getting dark, they invited the man to stay with [music] them for the evening. And this was what happened.

[02:04] When he was at the table with them, he took bread, gave thanks, broke it, and began to give it to them. Then their eyes were opened [music] and they recognized him and he disappeared from their sight.

[02:18] They asked each other, "Were not our hearts burning [music] within us while he talked with us on the road and opened the scriptures to us?" road and opened the scriptures to us?" Luke 24:30-32.

[02:34] experience [music] being with him in these meditations. Our hearts will burn as [music] he speaks to us on the road of our mind and heart. And our hearts will burn as we read the

[02:47] scriptures he leads us to. My heart's response. what I am writing and I can't see the connections or the arrangement of thoughts to come out as a one whole beautiful [music] picture.

[03:02] Let me always go back to the awareness that I only want to write what you say and that I should prayerfully wait for your inspiration. Lead me to what I should write. Jesus spent so much time in the evenings

[03:16] communing with you. That is why he says he only speaks what he [music] hears from you. Fill my mind with your thoughts, and my soul [music] with your Holy Spirit.

[03:30] guide my fingers with your hands that you may have your fingerprints in these papers I am writing. Amen. God is touching you. God wants to pour the fire of his spirit

[03:45] He wants [music] to open your eyes of faith. He wants you to to his voice with the ears of your heart. So, faith comes from hearing

[03:57] and hearing through the word of Christ. Romans 10:17 ESV Allow him to touch you. Be still. Your eyes of faith will open [music] and

[04:10] you will see the spiritual realm behind this worldly realm that veils the workings of God. When you become aware of the workings of the hands of God [music] on every little event that happens in this world,

[04:23] you will see his fingerprints more and more in your life, in the life of and in what is [music] happening in the world. Meditate on the word of God that touches your heart and mind.

[04:36] >> [music] >> Your faith will increase as you read the word of God through the gospel [music] of Christ. Later, whenever you can, pick up a Bible and

[04:48] read [music] the gospel. Read the gospels first. The books of the Old Testament all points [music] to Christ and they will have meaning for you when you know Christ in the gospels.

[05:01] Everyday, make a habit of reading the scripture. It will make your awareness of God's presence in every moment [music] of your And if you live in God's presence everyday,

[05:14] you will be at peace because you are experiencing living under the shadow of his wings. You are living in the kingdom that Jesus says is near and among us. Being asked by the Pharisees

[05:28] when the kingdom of God would come, he answered them, "The kingdom of God is not coming in [music] ways that can be observed, nor will they say, here it is or there.

[05:43] the kingdom of God [music] is in the midst of you. Luke 17:20-21 ESV Speak to God in your heart. Be still.

[05:56] Put yourself in the presence of God. Quiet [music] your mind. From what you have just read, focus on a phrase, a sentence, or a paragraph that touched your mind and heart. There is always an insight that opens a

[06:11] door in your imagination that leads you to deeper understanding of God, to deeper understanding of God, His ways, His will, His presence. Thank God for His revelation of Himself. Close your eyes and wait.

[06:25] Learn how to be patient in silence, and let God touch your heart and mind [music] in His time and His way. His revelation does not always come the same way, nor the way you expect them to be,

[06:39] come. God is full of surprises. Be patient and just have a surrendered heart to His will. works or might often question His timing.

[06:54] But for as long as you are surrendered to His will in a childlike trust that you simply rest at His bosom, [music] not caring whether He manifest or not. But just caring that He loves you all the time, you will [music] be at peace.

[07:10] You keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on you because He trusts in you. Isaiah 26:3 [music] ESV
