[00:32] and it might just be one of the best displays ever created for gamers and displays ever created for gamers and content creators. Let's take a look. of this display. It has a solid tilt feature for angling the position of the
[00:47] screen. The height adjustment feature of the monitor has a comfortable range for positioning it low or high. The monitor is attached to a swivel and has a 90° pivot that'll allow you to completely rotate your monitor if you want vertical
[00:59] screen space without having to put the monitor on its own separate stand. But if you do want to put it on the stand, this monitor is Visa Mount compatible, mounts. Now, if we look at the bottom of this monitor, this is where we can find
[01:12] the ports that it offers. We can see that it has two HDMI 2.1 connectors, a Display Port 1.4 4 port, USBC, which also offers 65 watt power delivery, three USB 3.0 ports, and then one headphones port for those of you who
[01:26] want to listen to your audio from the monitor. The USBC port in particular was a great addition as it enabled me to easily use my MacBook Pro with the display while delivering charging power to it simultaneously. Now, with this
[01:39] monitor hooked up to a gaming PC, for example, you'll be able to access something called dual mode output. This is where you'll have the option to max out your resolution or your refresh rate depending on what you want to go with.
[01:51] route. Well, you'll be able to max out your display settings at a 4K resolution your display settings at a 4K resolution at 160 hertz. For me, this mode is my go-to. Picture quality looks so good and it is buttery smooth. But now, let's say
[02:05] you're in the other camp where you want the maximum amount of frames possible. Well, this display offers 1080p up to 320 hertz. And that's on top of the fact that the response time for this display comes in at 1 millisecond. Plus, you get
[02:21] free sync and G-Sync, meaning you're not going to have the screen tearing issues that could come along with other displays. One of the other major performance points that this monitor offers is HDR 1,400, meaning that the
[02:34] screen on this display can be ultra bright, coming in at 1,400 nits, compared to the 400 nits that you'll get out of standard HDR. Why does this matter? Well, depending on the room that you have this gaming monitor in, it may
[02:48] be dark, it may be bright where you have sunlight hitting the display. You can depending on the environment that you're in to get the best results depending on your situation. Next up, looking at the display technology, this monitor has a
[03:02] miniLEDD display, which is a significant upgrade from your traditional LED. With excellent balance between having a bright or dim display, which supports that HDR400 performance. You're also going to get richer, more accurate
[03:17] that you can see the different variations of those darker and black colors. And that goes for the brighter colors as well. The contrast ratio on this display is 1 million to1 and means you get deep blacks and bright whites,
[03:32] which further supports the richness and detail that this display offers. Now, up the picture and the dimness or the look of this display, I can always do that by accessing the settings of this monitor by just pressing the knob on the back of
[03:47] menu where the display's brightness and contrast can be adjusted to my liking. Some other settings we can check out here. If we move to the color tab, this is where you can adjust the look of the display further, including how much blue
[04:01] light is emitted from it. Moving to the gaming setup tab. This is an important one as here you can enable adaptive sync for free sync and G-Sync as well as dual mode for enabling that 320 Hz. To enable HDR, you can look for that within the
[04:16] advanced settings. Now, this monitor comes with a few core settings that you can quickly access by moving the settings knob up to change the display input. Left for game assist features, which are timer, crosshair, and FPS
[04:29] counter. And then if you move it right, this is where you can access the KVM settings, which stands for keyboard, video, mouse. So if you connect USB peripherals to the monitor, it will essentially act like a hub for the
[04:41] multiple systems that it's connected to. Next, let's take this monitor through a few visual tests, starting with how well it handles motion. Since this monitor has a very fast IPS panel and a 1 millisecond response time, the amount of
[04:54] blur or ghosting that I could see in objects moving was pretty minimal. even for fastm moving animations. As you can see in the test here, when it comes to capabilities, I thought that this looks solid, especially for it not being an
[05:08] OLED display. HDR really helped highlight the different shades of black and white contrasting that you can see here. And something else to keep in mind is that with the miniLEDD, you won't have to worry about getting burning like
[05:21] with OLED displays. So, that's another big plus. Now, of course, we can't test this monitor without seeing how games look on it. Up first, I tried out some Marvel Rivals, and I feel like looking at this through the camera just doesn't
[05:34] do this monitor justice. The colors here look absolutely spectacular in this game, especially in 4K quality. I tried to get my FPS close to 160 hertz here,
[05:46] but Marvel Rivals just wouldn't hit it with my RTX 5070 coming in at around 100 hertz, which honestly still looked very crisp and smooth. crisp and smooth. [Music]
[06:03] 5. First, looking at The Last of Us 2, which I seriously need to finish this game already, but this monitor looks so good for this game. The amount of detail I can see in the game's environment feels like it's just on another level.
[06:18] feels like it's just on another level. 4K is absolutely the way to go for these kind of games over 1080p as it truly adds to the overall experience. Now, another good game on PlayStation 5 to show off how good the HDR looks is Call
[06:32] of Duty Black Ops 6. This one we're playing in 4K 120 hertz. And my god, the black is so deep. I feel like I'm staring into the abyss. Gameplay
[06:44] experience here very solid as well. motion blur, extremely minimal, very responsive, and if it weren't for these freaking clowns that never get off this game and touch grass, I wouldn't be getting bodied so much in my clips here.
[06:57] But you know what? It's all good. My eyes are being highly stimulated by the quality of this display. So, I'd say that makes up for it. Switching back over to the PC, I wanted to load up some Fortnite in 1080p 320 Hz to see what the
[07:11] experience would be like. This mode will definitely give you the best competitive advantage for shooter games. The responsiveness and smoothness is ridiculous, but that comes at a cost of knocking down the sharpness and clarity
[07:24] of the image, which is noticeable coming from 4K. But the experience for me still felt really good. The colors looked amazing in Fortnite, and at this point, guys, I don't think I'm going to be able to game on another monitor now that I've
[07:37] started using this one. But overall guys, with this KTC gaming monitor, dual output mode that this gaming monitor offers makes it the most versatile that I've honestly ever used. I love the 4K 160 Hz, but having the
[07:51] option to use 320 Hz, that's freaking redonulous. A gamer's dream. Plus, we got the mini LED and HDR400 technology integrated within it, which makes it look almost just as good as OLED, especially for the price point coming in
