▶ Play Clip[00:00] Now you're here for one thing and one thing only, actual good anime you have never seen before in. Let me tell you, boy do I have the anime just for you. Because deep in the abyss of many anime that have released, there are those that are forgotten,
[00:13] yet people fail to realize just how good they really are. So this video will indeed shed light into those amazing forgotten anime that aren't talked about anymore, but remain to be among the greatest.
[00:31] I believe the perfect entry to such a list is Hina Matsuri, the show you want to watch when you want comedy that sneaks up on you with the real emotion, because this anime has comedy goal,
[00:45] the soul that presents itself in the absolute best way possible. Hina Matsuri starts as an absurd gag anime about a deadpan psychic girl and a reluctant Yakuza guardian that pretty much ends up with her, but slowly reveals a surprisingly
[01:01] heartfelt core. The jokes hit hard but so do the moments about responsibility and a found family and growing up in unfair circumstances. It's funny without being shallow and truly emotionally without being melodramatic, but those who enjoy
[01:17] character-driven comedy slice of life chaos and the anime that just makes you laugh and pause in some episodes, and you gotta check out Hina Matsuri. Grimgar, wow, go ahead and possibly one of the best is a guy anime in my opinion that features
[01:35] such realistic cast of characters transported to the world straight off the bat and are completely powerless.
[01:50] Now if you seek high tension character growth and teamwork, then this is the Isakai for you. There is no overpowered character in the show, but everyone is on an even playing field, as even one single goblin or monster poses such a huge threat to the characters.
[02:06] The cast must learn to work together as a team to have even a chance at making it back home, making every encounter against enemies feel not overly dramatic but so realistic and intense as anything can happen with one wrong move.
[02:21] This is what I call an Isakaya masterpiece ladies and gents.
[02:34] So how about we go from intense realistic action to something more quiet that features an intelligent protagonist and a slow fantasy journey built on trust instead of spectacle. Grimgar of Zero focuses less on grand battles and more on the relationship between a feared
[02:50] mercenary and a very calm young intelligent witch. The magic system feels restrained, but the world feels lived in and progress comes through dialogue understanding and a shared experience between those two.
[03:02] But it strength lies in atmosphere and character bonding rather than constant action. You don't need action, you just need a good old fantasy fashion. This isn't about, you know, this show isn't a fantasy about power, it's about learning
[03:15] who to trust in a dangerous world and viewers who enjoy classic fantasy vibes, mentor style relationship and stories where emotional development matters as much as plot movement and you gotta check this one out.
[03:29] One of the most criminally underrated and forgotten fantasy anime is show that treats power as a curse, not a reward, the legend of legendary heroes is up next. On the surface, now this anime looks like a typical magic fantasy adventure, but it quickly
[03:44] reveals a much darker core. The protagonist's immense power, the alpha stigma, comes with trauma in loss, turning strength into something much more frightening rather than empowering, with the story balances political
[04:00] intrigue, emotional damage and explosive magic power making it more mature than it first peers. The alpha stigma, at its core, is a very dangerous power that makes the wielder go berserk after
[04:13] using it, which is why Ryder loot distances himself from his friends or other people, but he does end up teaming up with Eris to retrieve a legendary heroic relics of the past to complete his mission and also to uncover the secret to his power.
[04:28] Now what if the most broken build in this game was created by accident?
[04:45] This is the type of anime you want to watch when you want a power fantasy that's wholesome instead of hardcore. Both Ooty throws balance out the window and turns it into comedy and parody and funny things
[04:58] by maxing defense and accidentally breaking the game, the protagonist Maple becomes overpowered through innocence rather than strategy or obsession. The show is about joy, experimentation and watching a game spiral out of control in
[05:12] the most charming way possible. Viewers who like, or if they enjoy MMO anime, low stress fun and stories where being overpowered feels so playful rather than aggressive or serious, but Maple puts all of her stats into vitality
[05:27] or health, becoming a complete unkillable tank and destroys opponents with such ease and everyone in the game knows exactly just how powerful of a player she is.
[05:40] Now unlike the rest of the anime on this list, this is one of the most underrated secret anime nobody really knows about and it's made by an amazing animation studio called Shaft.
[06:04] Kubukiti's cycle is a locked room murder mystery-told deliberate pacing and a razor-sharp dialogue. Instead of chasing shock value, it actually invites the viewer to think presenting clues through
[06:17] conversation, observation and subtle character behavior. But the real appeal isn't just about solving the case, but it's all about watching how intelligence and perception collide in a confined space.
[06:30] But for people who really enjoy heavy mystery, dialogue and storytelling and an anime that rewards patience and attention, then you gotta check out Kubukiti's cycle.
[06:43] Now before I get into this, please don't be fooled by a group of cute girls doing cute things at school, but this is actually a dangerous zombie apocalypse anime that disguises itself as a slice of life.
[06:56] But what makes it so powerful isn't the horror itself, but how the story explores trauma and coping mechanisms and the mind's ability to protect itself from the unbearable reality of the zombies.
[07:09] But the contrast between tone and truth is what makes it so unforgettable. Those who enjoy psychological horror, emotional storytelling, and anime that rewards patience without spelling everything out, then school life is the anime just for you.
[07:22] But pretty much at its core, this is an anime of a story that uses denial as its greatest weapon because you see normal high school life that suddenly turns upside down because those girls are constantly dreaming while not realizing that they are the only ones left
[07:40] alive. Migi and Dali is weird in the best way possible, but it's a dark comedy, it has offbeat story telling, and it's an anime that intentionally just blurs the line between funny and also
[07:54] disturbing at the same time. This anime starts off bizarre and funny, but gradually reveals a much darker, undercurrent
[08:11] beneath its exaggerated humor. But the twin protagonist's strange behavior isn't just for laughing, it hints at obsession, it hints at identity and very trauma beneath all that.
[08:24] The show keeps you off balance making you laugh one moment, and you know, just uneasy the next. Which is exactly why it sticks with you, it's so damn good. Migi and Dali just take turns pretending to be one person after getting adopted by a family
[08:39] yet their intelligence, their IQ level, to be able to pull off the impossible is rather so intriguing to watch, but soon things will get much darker revealing things you wouldn't
[08:51] even expect to happen.
[09:04] This anime by far is one of the biggest lies in recent years, a show that looks like a made series serving customers in a cafe in the bright city life of Tokyo, when in reality
[09:16] it's an all out war between different made cafes with killing and bloodshed, and all this seems to be legal because there is no law in this show. Akiba made war takes the wholesome image of made cafes and slams it headfirst into Yakuza
[09:32] crime drama. The violence is brutal, the comedy is deadpan, and the themes of loyalty and belonging are treated with surprising sincerity. It's absurd, it's crazy, but never careless, tons of action, guns, game events and a story
[09:50] that will keep you hooked until the very end, everything about this anime. For me, at least, and hopefully for you, screams exciting. And now to end this video, it's time to look at a banger that takes inspiration a lot from
[10:05] attack on time, yet it may not look like what it seems. You resume enjoy high concept sci-fi, sudden narrative twists, and the anime that takes creative risks instead of playing it safe, then you gotta watch decadence.
[10:20] It begins as a straightforward post-apocalyptic action anime, and then deliberately pulls the rug out under the viewer. Once the real nature of this world is revealed with the monsters outside, the story becomes a sharp commentary on systems, control and what it means to live with purpose inside
[10:37] a rigged reality. It's bold, it's super weird, and surprisingly thoughtful to watch, I'm not gonna lie. Definitely one of the biggest underrated gems for those who wish to watch something strange
[10:49] and odd, yet so refreshing, from all the same old anime that you usually see. If this video did indeed help that empty space of giving you more underrated, panacea anime or forgotten anime to watch, which I hope it did, then do give it a thumbs up.
[11:03] But let me know in the comments which anime you are gonna watch from this list, and until next time, I will see you all in the next video.
