45sThis segment hooks beginners by promising a complete, easy-to-follow trading guide, which is highly searchable and engaging for new traders.
▶ Play ClipThis video provides a step-by-step guide to trading on the CoinDCX platform, covering everything from adding funds and understanding the interface to placing trades, setting stop-loss and take-profit levels, and withdrawing profits. The instructor also explains how to draw support and resistance levels on charts to make informed trading decisions.
The video will teach how to take a trade, add money, withdraw profits, and draw support and resistance on charts.
After logging in, the home interface appears. To trade, first add funds via the profile icon.
Users can add Indian Rupees (INR) via PhonePe, with amounts ranging from ₹100 to ₹5 lakh.
For trading, go to the FNO section. Choose Futures (not Options) for beginners due to lower risk.
Click on 'Future' and then 'All' to see all available coins like Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana, etc.
The chart shows coin name, current price in USDT and INR, and timeframes (e.g., 5 min, 15 min, 2h, 4h).
Indicators like Moving Average and Super Trend can be applied. The draw tool allows drawing support/resistance and position tools.
If price touches a level 2-3 times, it's considered support (bottom) or resistance (top). Buy on breakout above resistance with bullish candle; sell on breakdown below support with bearish candle.
Go to 'Trade' tab. Choose Long (buy) or Short (sell). Set leverage (recommended 10x). Use Market order for simplicity.
Money must be moved from demat account to Future Wallet before trading. This is done via 'Add Future Wallet' option.
Use the size slider to allocate capital (e.g., 50% = ₹2286 with 10x leverage gives ₹22,000 position). Liquidation price shows where capital becomes zero.
After entry, set stop loss and target prices. Example: SL at $4942 results in ₹32 loss; TP at $4925 gives ₹44 profit.
Tap on the position and confirm exit. Check trade history via clock icon to see profit/loss and brokerage fees.
Brokerage is charged on both entry and exit (e.g., ₹13 each side). For small trades, brokerage can eat profits; for larger profits, it's negligible.
To trade other coins, go to 'All', select the coin, analyze chart, and execute trade similarly.
This video equips beginners with the essential steps to start trading on CoinDCX, from funding and chart analysis to placing trades and managing risk with stop-loss and take-profit orders.

16:32[00:02] ? How to take a trade? How to add money? And when there is profit, how do you withdraw it? We are going to learn all these things in today's video. The video may be a little long. But after watching this video you will
[00:16] But after watching this video you will I will also teach you how to draw support and resistance on the chart. How do you know where the price will go up and where it will
[00:30] come down? Here we will understand each and every thing related to trading in detail so that you can understand it easily and take your trade the very next day. Let's see here, now we have opened the Coin DCX application. If you don't have the Coin DCX app yet, there's a
[00:45] If you don't have the Coin DCX app yet, there's a start trading very easily. See, when you successfully login to Coin DCX, you will see an interface like this. To trade, first of all
[00:59] we have to add funds here with which we will trade. So there will be a profile icon here to add funds. As soon as we tap on it, we will see the fund option here. See, right now we have a
[01:16] is simply written here Deposit IAR, which means that we can add and withdraw money in Indian Rupees. which means that we can add and withdraw money in Indian Rupees. option will appear in front of us,
[01:33] can easily add money through PhonePe. The internet is a little slow which you may be seeing here. See, here we can add from ₹100 to ₹5 lakh. If you have ₹100 and want to trade with ₹100, you can simply add ₹100 here
[01:47] or even up to ₹5 lakh. We can easily add money here through our PhonePe. Now let's go back. After coming back here, we will simply reach the home page. So on the home page we see some interface where there are many different
[02:04] things. But today we are learning how we can trade inside Coin DCX. So for trading, we have a FNO section down here. As we tap on it. A page like this appears before us. See,
[02:19] we have to do everything on this screen. I will explain it to you one by one so that you can understand everything well. If you are doing something right now, then leave it and watch the video carefully for a while so that you can understand things easily. Simply, if we look from the top here,
[02:35] we get three options. Futures options and US stock futures. But we have to trade in futures. If you want, you can also trade in options. But the option takes time to decay. So that makes it a little risky. But to
[02:47] start with, you should trade in futures only. We'll click on Future here. After that, look here, you will find three dots below it. As soon as we click on it and go to All, we will see all the coins here.
[03:01] Like Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana, all the coins that are listed in the market, here we will see all those coins and on its side we can see how much buying or selling has happened in which coin in 24 hours. Here we
[03:15] can see these things. After that, an option of expert pick is also available here. So that the experts can tell whether the price of the coin will go up or down. And there is a watch list option here. Where we can add any coin to the watch list.
[03:30] Like right now here we have added gold to the watch list. You can simply add any coin to the watch list. Now look, if we come back a little here, we will see many things here. As we can
[03:43] see above, which coin we have just opened. There we can see its name and its current price below. Both in USDT and Indian Rupees. You can see it here. Next to it is Add to Watch List. Then there is the candle
[03:57] option so that we can see the chart. See, the chart itself is important because by make our expectations about the price as to which side the price will go, whether it will go towards buying or selling. Now here below this we get the time frame option here.
[04:11] As you can see here, we are currently looking at this chart on a 5-minute time frame. Simply by clicking here we can change the time frame. You can do it for 1 minute. You can do it for 15 minutes. We can shift this chart to any time frame we want, be it 2 hours or 4 hours.
[04:25] When we shift the chart to a time frame, a candle starts forming there on the same time frame. Simply if we look here, we see that I have a trade going on right now, let me close it for now. That means I
[04:38] exit from this position. It will be easier for you when I give you a demo on how to create an entry. So we exit it immediately. Come here, see, our entry and exit have been done. Now look here, next to the chart
[04:52] we again get the option of candle. Next to this we find a section with indicators here. From where we can apply any indicator on the chart. Like moving average is done, super trend is done. Whatever indicator you have learned or
[05:05] want to learn, you can apply it right here. Next to the indicator we get a draw option here. From where we can draw many things. You can apply the position tool. Here you will find a bar for the position tool. So that
[05:19] if we buy, we can place a buying position. If you sell, you can place a sell position. Simply we will tap here and as we tap on the chart, see here, in this way we can also apply our position tool on the chart. The
[05:33] advantage of this is that we can easily see on the chart at which level we have entered. Where do we set our SL? Now if we look at the chart here, we should know how to draw support and resistance on the chart
[05:46] because on the basis of that we find out from where the price will go into buying and from where the price will go into selling. Like you're looking at this chart right now. So see, there is a simple formula for support and resistance.
[05:59] If the price touches a level two to three times, we consider it as support and if the price touches the same level two to three times on the upside, we consider it as resistance. As you can see here on the chart itself. Here the
[06:12] price has taken rejection two to three times at this level. So simply we can come here and apply a resistor supported tool from here. For example, look at this method, in this way we can draw the support tool on the chart. From this we came to know that
[06:27] this is the support level and if you look above here, the price has got rejected at this level two-three times. So for now this will become a resistance level. In this way we can draw support and resistance very easily. You
[06:41] see here we have drawn the support and resistance here. Now if the price breaks this resistance and a bullish candlestick pattern is formed here then we will buy here and if the price breaks this support and
[06:55] a bearish candlestick pattern is formed here then we will sell here. This is how we draw support and resistance on the chart. Support and resistance have a simple formula. If the price comes to a level two to three times
[07:08] then it will be considered a strong support and resistance level. Here we have resistance level. Here we have , take a trade, then how will we do that? For this we will simply come back here. You
[07:21] see here we get four options here. Charts, trades, positions, orders. That means when we look at the chart, we will have an interface like this and when we click on trade here, we will have to take the entry from here and when we
[07:35] make the entry, it will be visible in the position and whatever our stop loss and target will be, we can see it from here. See, in Coindix, within crypto, we can set both stop loss and target simultaneously as soon as we enter. Which I am going to show you right now.
[07:49] Simply let us now go to trade here. First we will look at the chart to see what the price is saying. Which side movements can happen? Look, I am creating an entry here just for demo purposes. There is no analysis. Simply
[08:02] looking at this candle, we feel that the price may go into buying. So here we are going to do buying. Both options are available here. If we think the price will fall, we can sell and if we think the price will rise, we can buy.
[08:14] An isolated option is available here. There is no need to disturb it. Simply put, there is a leverage option available here, and this is why many new traders start crypto trading. See, this is leverage. The more we
[08:28] increase it, the more our trade size will increase. If we have a capital of ₹1000 and we take a leverage of 10x then simply our trade will be worth ₹10,000. Similarly, if we take 50x leverage with a capital of ₹1000, our trade will be worth ₹50,000.
[08:43] From ₹1,000 we can trade up to ₹50,000. But the more leverage we take, the more risky our trade will be and we will incur losses very quickly. That is why leverage should be taken less. You can take leverage of 10x or 20x if you want.
[08:58] Simply, we are taking leverage of 10x here. You should also take leverage of 10x only. After that here we will select on long. Looking at the chart, it seems that the price will go into buying and here a market option is available below it.
[09:11] Simply, if you want, you can enter the market. You price limit. But for now, let's keep the market selected. See, now here we get a size option. Now look here,
[09:26] we have capital of ₹4657. Look, now I want to show you one more thing because many people get confused here. Right now, confused here. Right now,
[09:42] First we have to add this money to the future wallet , then we can take the trade. And how will we do this? Look here, when we click here, you can see here it is written Add Future Wallet. We can trade only when we add our money here i.e.
[09:57] bring money from the demat account here. As you can see here, we have added ₹4657 to it and ₹4200 is in our demat account. To add money, simply click here and enter the amount you want to add
[10:11] and it will be transferred from your demat account to your future wallet so that you can start trading. And from here, when you make profit, then simply you will first withdraw the money from here to your demat account and
[10:25] after that, when the money goes into your demat account, then simply you come here and I will show it to you. By coming here you can withdraw this money into your account. It is very simple. If you do it once or twice, you will easily learn
[10:40] how to add money to the future wallet and how to withdraw it when there is a profit. To trade, we must first add money to the Future Wallet. Let's see, in the meantime, this next candle has started coming on the sell side.
[10:54] Seeing this, we feel that now the price may fall from here. So simply we will click on short here. Everything will remain the same here. We just have to change the long and short. If we think the price will fall, we will click on short. Now
[11:06] below this, a size option is available here. Simply, if we expand this circle from here, you will see that our capital is being used here. If we use 50% of our capital that comes to ₹2286. But here we have taken leverage of 10X,
[11:21] due to which this size is becoming ₹22,000. For example, if we use capital of ₹1000, then the size here will be ₹10,000. Similarly, if we use 100% i.e. ₹4621, then you can see here that our size has now become ₹45,000. That means
[11:37] now we can trade at ₹45,000. Even if we incur a loss, it will be around ₹45,000. Even if there is profit, it will be around ₹45,000. But here you may be a little confused that we have only ₹4500 and we are trading with ₹45,000,
[11:53] so we may incur huge losses. It's not like that. Simply put, here below we also see the liquidation price which is around $4490. If the price reaches this level, our position will automatically be exited and
[12:07] all our capital will become zero. There is no loss from the leverage we have taken here. The loss comes from within our capital itself. As soon as the price reaches this level, all our money will be automatically lost. Simply I am just giving you a demo here.
[12:21] So let's take a look at the chart once more to see what's happening. Okay, right now I am going to use only 50% of the capital here, which is ₹2200 according to us. Even if you have ₹5000, you can still learn trading very easily.
[12:36] We'll click on Short here. We will let the market remain as it is. Look, here below you get an amazing feature which is add stop loss and target. As soon as we click on it, add stop loss and target. As soon as we click on it,
[12:50] Like if I show you here, let's take an entry and see. Let us create an entry here. Look, our entry has been made here. You can see all the details here. We have created an entry inside Gold
[13:05] and have taken leverage of 10x. Simply the position size is visible here. Current prices are shown. position size is visible here. Current prices are shown. Here you get another new amazing feature. As soon as we click on the chart,
[13:18] we can easily see on the chart at which level we have entered and here and here we can also see our profit and loss. Once again we come to the Positions tab. So look here we see a stop loss and target
[13:32] option. As soon as we click on this, we can simply set our stop loss target here. First let us see at what level we have to set our stop loss. Simply we want to set our stop loss here at $4942.
[13:46] Click on this and enter $4942 here. See, here if our stop loss is hit then we will have a loss of ₹32 in this trade. As
[13:58] soon as we click on confirm, our stop loss will be set. And now we our stop loss will be set. And now we I also look at the target price. What is the price here? We are going to
[14:12] set our target here at ₹4925. Again we will click on this and click on Take Profit here and click on ₹4925. See here if our target is hit then we will have a profit of ₹44 and if our SL is hit
[14:27] then we will have a loss of ₹32. We set both things here. Simply it is set here. You can see for yourself how simple it is to make an entry. Look, now if we click on the chart here, then simply here we can see these three things.
[14:40] As you can see here. Above we see the stop loss. Our entry is visible in the middle and our target is visible below. But if we had bought here, our target would have been visible above. Our stop
[14:53] loss would be visible below and our entry would be visible in the middle. But we have made a sale here. Just like we have done the sale, you can also do the buying. Now look, the next candle is coming out in a slight buying trend. Due to which we have started seeing a loss of ₹3 here.
[15:06] Simply, this profit and loss may seem very small to you. But if you have a capital of ₹5,000 or ₹10,000 then you can make a lot of money. ₹1000,000 can easily make ₹1500. See, here we have taken this trade only for demo.
[15:21] But if we had taken the trade after proper analysis, then our safe trade would have been to buy above this high and sell below this low. I also showed you by drawing the levels how we draw support and resistance and accordingly
[15:35] we trade. But we had to show you how to take trades. How to set your stop loss and target. Where does the position appear? Let's see, right now here we are seeing a profit of up to ₹56. Simply we exit this position
[15:49] because we also have to upload the video and it may take time for the price to reach here. So, we exit this position. The position is simple to exit. Like we're here I'll show you right now. Like we will tap on it and confirm here.
[16:04] So you see here our position has been exited. Everything is off the charts. All the stop loss and target that were visible have been removed and we have exited this position. Even if you go and look in the position section here, there is nothing there.
[16:18] Now the question arises that where will we see how much profit we have made, how much loss we have incurred and how much brokerage has been charged. So for this, we see a clock icon on the side here. As soon as we tap on it,
[16:32] we can see here that in this trade we have exited with a loss of ₹10. Simply see here, while making the entry we had to pay a brokerage of ₹13 and when we exited, we had to pay a brokerage of ₹13. This means that
[16:46] even after making a profit, we have exited with a loss. Because we exited our position very quickly and whenever we trade, some brokerage charge is levied. This means that we have incurred a total brokerage of ₹26 in this trade. You can see it here.
[17:00] If we had made a profit of ₹50 or ₹100, then ₹26 would have been deducted as brokerage and then we would have made some profit. But we made a profit of ₹2, so we are in overall loss. But when you trade and make a profit of ₹500-₹600, then ₹40-50 brokerage will
[17:16] not cost you anything because when there is a profit of ₹500, then ₹50 will definitely be charged. But if you trade with ₹100 then brokerage of ₹30-40 will be charged. As you can see here. Look, whatever things are there, I am showing them to you clearly here. It is
[17:30] not that you have to be misled and you start trading and do not know all these things. Whenever we trade, we incur brokerage on both sides, both for buying and selling. So you should keep these things in mind also. When you
[17:43] trade with a capital of ₹5,000, a maximum brokerage of ₹50 to ₹100 is charged per trade. So you can see this is it. I also showed you my panel here. Just like we created a sell position here. Similarly, you can buy and
[17:57] sell as well. To trade any coin in Coin DCX, we have to come to FNO and we can control everything from here. If you want to trade in any other coin then simply go to All and from here suppose you want to trade
[18:11] Here you will see the chart of Ethereum. You will see the chart. You will draw the level and after that if you feel that the price will go into buying then you will buy. If the price is going on sale then you will sell it. This is how you
[18:25] you will sell it. This is how you beginner who does not know anything about trading can start trading very easily by watching this video. What did you learn from this video?
