Trapped on an Island Until I Build a Boat

[00:00] in the middle of the Pacific Ocean. and then set sail over miles of open ocean to that other island. Let's kick this thing off.

[00:29] I think you've actually gone crazy. we need to gather supplies and start building a shelter The reason why we're doing this challenge

[00:43] would we be able to escape? And so we're not stuck on this island as old men, which has a small amount of survival essentials.

[00:56] but it's gotta last us until we build a sailboat. because in reality, we're just a bunch of YouTubers Chandler, I have an idea.

[08:04] We tie down the poop deck, gather materials to make paddles… Then we test it, make sure it floats. If it don't float, I'm swimming.

[08:19] most of this video so far has just been us foraging through trash, But this trash was our only hope for getting off this island Like, that end's gonna be weird.

[09:28] [grunting] so we can boil pieces of plastic that we can then mold into paddles. and see what happens to the plastic.

[21:54] We are cooking like lobsters in the sun. At this point, I genuinely don't know if we're gonna make it or not. the current we're going to face inside of this channel is so strong

[22:08] that it will do everything to push us sideways into the deadly open ocean. And now, we weren't hours away, but rather, minutes. We're in the open ocean right now.

[23:48] I think Jimmy is about to throw up, We've been rowing on and off for six hours. Hase has been steering and holding the sail,

[24:02] I can't go anymore. this mission was all in the hands of Hase, Nolan, and Darius. Thanks, man. The island's 3.5 miles away.

[24:17] then we can ride with the current and the wind. that we're essentially climbing uphill so we can ride down the hill.

[24:29] we just weren't gonna succeed without our entire team working together. I'm shaking. I'm literally shaking. This thing is just not moving like we thought it would.

[24:45] I did too. We were making such good ground. Now we're just getting sucked into the Pacific Ocean. [pants] I'm not gonna say no.

[24:59] the entire seven hours we've been out here. And what sucks is it's literally right there.

[25:11] Before we set sail, we all made a promise. Keep paddling! I started to think about what I said two days ago.

[25:27] with your four friends and build a sailboat. And just as my hope was returning again, by some miracle, Mother Nature was pushing us.

[25:40] we're, like, turning towards the island without doing anything. And by this point, without realizing it, Darius, are we getting closer?

[25:54] I think it's worth it. I may say I'm gonna give up, but until I do it, I will never give up. Paddle!

[26:07] We're all sunburned. We're hungry, dehydrated, All right, guys, we're 2.5 miles away now. 1.7.

[29:42] This is the most difficult challenge I've ever done on this channel. all because the tide changed in the final 5%, I hate losing, and I don't like this feeling.
