[00:00] Are these guys gonna one-shot me? They probably are, aren't they?

[00:15] Huh? Huh?

[00:28] Bro, come here. Nice! Sure. Oh! Oh, I can't do that yet.

[00:42] Oh, no, no, no, no, no, no, no. Oh, man. But wait, we can kill these guys. Hmm. That's interesting.

[00:54] Okay. Beware of mosquitoes? Yeah. Yeah.

[01:09] What are goblins used to? Oh my god. So it turns out we're not ready for those. Yeah.

[01:22] Turns out... Not ready for those. Okay. Labby checked. Not ready for those. Okay. Mm-hmm. Good call.

[01:39] Now we just have to hope and pray that they're not going to camp my course. But we should hopefully even then be able to zoom in and out if we can.

[01:51] ummm I'll get some basic meat real quick get some resting bonus and then we'll get out of there

[02:03] your block and carry are based on your max HP and you're using two stamina foods and only one HP food so you're gonna have a hard time with blocking good call, I wasn't really set up for combat in that run 18

[02:15] 18

[02:33] Okay

[02:45] Alright. Oh, good little rainstorm running. I love it.

[02:58] Alright, so here we go. Making the run, PM. Making the run. Oh, it's more out of duty. Hold on. My DMs right now

[03:10] are kind of a mess. Oh yeah, I remember, I did that for my first run. Yeah, so when we went mushroom hunting in our first run, we lowered the vegetation almost never.

[03:23] Yeah. I like playing with the vegetation on, but I don't even know. And also you have a few stones that I can lift it up. I don't even know, I don't know what that is. You guys want to know?

[03:35] I don't know. Thank you, bud. Okay, boom, boom, get that on first.

[03:48] Don't know where this big guy went. We gotta make an iron tunnel. Alright, here we go.

[04:05] Beautiful. Chat, we are back in business.

[04:24] Fire Emblem tomorrow? No. Not interested. Hey, my switch isn't set up.

[04:39] Alright. Oh, I should have eaten that. That was an epic fail. We can work with that.

[04:52] Alright, so now we're going to... I'm not going to do a... I'm not going to do a bank yet. I'm going to put the boat down over here first, if we have everything on us. Do I have the death skill penalty off? No?

[05:09] Oh man, oh we already got some iron ready to go.

[05:27] Dang, we don't have much to go. Alright, fantastic. There's my baby. There's my baby. Oh baby.

[05:39] right there pop you in here

[05:51] take everything else okay we're getting ready for our adventure here

[06:09] Is it Glacial Relic? No. I'm going to roll up the newspaper.

[06:22] No Glacial Relic. No. Don't do it.

[06:39] I need to build a proper portal area over here. What I need to do man, I've been thinking more and more about this. We gotta figure out where we're gonna build our new base. Chat, this base is starting to bother me. This is too tiny, too ployny!

[06:56] I need a big jersey base. Not so ployny. Hmm... Okay. Uh, this was

[07:12] long... and... No... Oh, this was mountain. Not even know what this was. Those three are unplugged for now.

[07:25] Alright, let's get these arrows back. I don't want to use poison arrows in this song. Oh. I guess we could equip the chest.

[07:38] Uh, do I need sleep? Let's do some sleep.

[07:50] You can make the stonecutter now with iron with a stone building and a DC iron chest. Why make the stonecutter? Bro, did we have to be outside somewhere?

[08:05] Oh yeah dude It's just sharpening Oh, he did a harsh with this too

[08:17] I don't know Oh. Oh, fun.

[08:33] Cool. I gotta create the mace again. Umm...

[08:45] No, I'm gonna hold on to that. Kind of seems to make a cowardice sound. I'll do repairs quickly.

[09:05] Okay, we're fully repaired here. Use me stop.

[09:17] We need to stop. We need to stop. I think we'll place the honey on top. Nope, that's not it.

[09:30] How about you? There. Take one of the blue eggs in. And then we'll place the honey on top.

[09:46] Wait, what did that do? Should be putting the honey away. Why is it not putting the honey away? Oh, okay. That'll do it.

[10:13] Alright, we're going. I'm going to check one more time with the dancers, I feel like it's getting late. Merge the bone, I refuse.

[10:26] I refuse. There we go.

[10:46] Great! You are full already! And no longer...

[10:59] No longer raining. Do I have a list of the saw mods? Yep, in the mods command.

[11:12] wait no Dino no yeah I wouldn't no turnip foods I don't have any turnips man you've not found any turnips yet turnips are supposed to be in the swamp right

[11:33] maybe they're somewhere else yeah they're in the they're in the swamp okay let's kind of We can run to our area through the swamp here and see if we can find something.

[11:46] I don't have any poison reserve. I'm going to have to keep that in mind.

[11:58] Y'all see any turnips, yell real loud.

[12:11] God, there's stuff here in the mucky muck.

[12:24] Oh, God. I kind of want to fight this thing, but I kind of really don't want to be on non-flat ground.

[12:41] This does not do good damage.

[12:57] I need a better weapon for when... Maybe I should make a sword. Should I make a sword cap? Would that be better versus, like, non-club people?

[13:09] Fire arrows? I don't think fire arrows are going to be too good in the rain, right?

[13:40] There we go.

[13:55] Nice. Excellent. Not good. Eat it. Eat it all.

[14:09] Root. Oh, I don't, I don't, is that stuff any good? I don't remember if that armor's good. Maybe we should be farming this here.

[14:22] Oh, damn. It's for archers. Oh. Oh, we should definitely get that. Okay. We'll look into that. For a bow build? Oh, hell yeah. Okay.

[14:40] Okay, so this swamp... or this crypt is done. This is the one we're going to next here. I don't think we're done in there yet. We'll set up camp at that second one.

[14:55] Okay, any time we see those big guys again, we're going to have to take them out. See,

[15:07] I need a better option for them. So, what's a good option for the highest damage non-blunt we could do right now? I was going to do, like, a battle axe, but people said the battle axe sucks. So,

[15:19] what do you guys think we should do? Fire arrow's the best version? Okay. Get the sword. I'm thinking about getting the sword, honestly.

[15:32] I might get the sword. Yeah. Hmm. so the axe did fine but still thinking about that sword

[15:58] okay it's pretty clear there good let's go check our cores real quick oh my Oh my god! I would suggest using an invisible sword, but I don't see the point.

[16:22] Sorry, I had to hear that, chat. Oh good, there's one here already. Alright, we're gonna pop you here. Get those resources out of our inventory.

[16:34] Let's grab the certainly cord. We have another one right over there if we want to return. Awesome.

[16:50] There we go. Let's over turn this a little bit real quick.

[17:04] What we're doing here is we're making the water level the default ground around this area because the things that spawn here die in water. So if you basically make it so they

[17:20] spawn over water, then they instantly die and this just becomes a really nice farm. So we're probably going to put a portal there in a bit actually.

[17:36] And that way we can just pop in, pick up stuff and leave. And you said there was no automation. That's what I said. Okay, maybe there's a little automation.

[17:49] Just a little bit. Okay. Oh, I hear something.

[18:03] Oh, this is where those archers were, isn't it? Um, hmm...

[18:27] Now. Now.

[18:43] Bam. Take all that thank you

[18:58] hello that's the hotel look at those amber, sweet delicious amber pearls how over are we? we're over by a lot um, still got ancient wood down

[19:12] Still not enough. There it is. Oh wait, might be smart. Alright, we should drop this off in our area over here.

[19:26] We'll come right back in. Hey Jamie. Can you also get rid of that tree? No, the big tree unfortunately we can't do anything about.

[19:38] The big tree is there permanently. Yeah. Unfortunately. You're talking about that big tree right next to it? Yeah.

[19:50] Some of the trees are permanent. Three steps is... I'm surprised not playing War Dogs. Dude, I'd love to be. Yeah. I too am surprised I'm not playing War Dogs. The timing is the thing, man.

[20:02] Let me have a game I want to play right now. And also, War Dogs will not only be there when I'm done, but War Dogs are still cooking, man. Like, games that are still cooking, I'm not prioritizing right now. I'm prioritizing the games that are sharing, and that are 1.0 and stuff.

[20:18] So, we will absolutely be doing more D.O.G. as it develops and all that good stuff. Is there a spawner in here? I don't see one.

[20:39] Okay. Get started in here.

[20:58] Would you say that War Dogs is more like War Puppies right now, Kappa? No, no, it's great in its current form. People are loving it. It's just a situation where I think the more time we can give it to cook the better.

[21:12] The devs are cooking hard on that game right now. And everything's looking great. Seems like more of a Crimson Desert situation.

[21:38] What is that sound? Do you think Ark Raiders will make a comeback with the update? No. No, I don't. I think Ark Raiders had lightning in a bottle and then they let it out. So I

[21:55] think the biggest issue with Ark Raiders is not necessarily the content at this point, but I think a lot of people are just kind of not super thrilled with the developers. The momentum was lost when they kind of fumbled, to be honest. I say they fumbled, it was a

[22:14] It was a wildly successful game, but at the same time, it could have been something we were all playing today. It could have been a fortnight. But they just, they weren't able to keep up with the hacking, they weren't able to keep up with the content, they weren't able to keep up with the bugs.

[22:28] They, they, very, I'd strictly say, think it was one of the most poorly designed trial systems in a game. Like, they really did just, they fumbled, man. They fumbled.

[22:40] It was a massive, massive fumble. Yep. They had it all. Still a wildly successful game, but it could have been ten times what it is now. Which I could still be playing it, to be honest.

[22:53] What were we talking about? Ark Raiders. Yeah, man, Ark Raiders. What it turned out to be is everyone thought Ark Raiders was going to be like a live service game.

[23:05] They all thought Ark Raiders was going to be a game that was going to get lots of content, the devs were all over and a big community and, you know, everyone wanted something from Arc Raiders.

[23:17] But to put it bluntly, I don't think the devs ever planned on delivering. I don't think the point of Arc Raiders was ever for it to be a live service. But because of the way they marketed it, because of the way they did the expeditions, because

[23:31] of the way they did the trial system, that set all these expectations. Like, why would you make an expedition system if you don't expect your players to be playing the game a huge amount?

[23:45] Why would you even design an expedition system for a game that you're not planning on making long-term content for? And then, on top of that, the trial system was just a literal example of how not to design

[24:00] a system in a game like that. it almost honestly could not have been designed more poorly because it had zero, it did not account for people's schedules, it did not account for people with jobs,

[24:13] it did not account for, I mean, the team versus solo thing was just a complete breakdown. There was no breakdown between those things. Like, there were just so many flaws in the system. It was like, it was like somebody came up with an idea

[24:27] and then made the system based on an email of the idea instead of an actual idea. there was just no vision in the development and design of that system. Not the game, that system.

[24:41] It's wild. For people like me, it's just signals. You have no direction. You don't know what you're doing. It was so odd. And what I'm talking about is, they had this trial system where you were versed other players,

[24:58] and they gave you purpose and reason to do that. But then it was a leaderboard thing where if you were solo, you could not keep up with groups. You could only do certain trials at literal, physical, certain times.

[25:12] So, like, sometimes you could only do a trial between these hours on a weekend. And if you couldn't do the trial, you wouldn't be able to participate in the week-long event. Like, it was crazy. Like, how could you not think about this?

[25:25] Like, and you're telling people you want to play this long-term? Like, it was crazy. yeah, just complete flaws in design and fairness and the worst part was

[25:39] then every single person when it came out pointed at it and went, why are you doing this? this sucks, don't do this and they didn't do anything with it for like half a year

[25:51] like, what are you doing? what are you doing? like, why would you you should have had that fixed in like a two week like a month, two months maybe,

[26:05] but to just not address it and just not do anything about it, again, it shows people like me, your priorities aren't in the right place, you don't really care about this. Everyone's screaming at you to change this, everyone,

[26:17] and you're just not doing anything. I know, right? Somebody says, the Crimson Desert does want to fix that in eight hours. I know, I know. That's what's crazy.

[26:29] We live in this world where like, you know, some devs are in a month period completely reinventing their game based on feedback from the people that are playing it. And then you have devs like in BART, just a radio silence for months at a time and then

[26:42] come back with like a meanly little patch and then they play it and they're looking at it. It's just like, one of these things is not like the other one.

[26:54] It's wild. It is wild. And then the worst case is right after the whole Embark thing, like after a year, the leader of Embark left to go run another company. It was just like, man, uh, we give up.

[27:12] We give up. We give up, man. Like that was it. He disembarked, yep. I gotta give, and for the record, Ark was something so special, man.

[27:25] that game. I have so many good memories from that game. I really did have a good time in it. And to be fair, I think they just sort of marketed it completely differently. It could have been marketed without the expansions, without the expedition system, without the trial system,

[27:41] and they should have made it very clear. This is your experience. Like, Ark Raiders is the product, you play it for 100 hours, and then you're done. Like, if my expectations were set on that, I have to think I would have had a much better time.

[27:55] Because instead I have this weird, like, 30-hour period of, like, hey, I'm just playing this because all those things are coming to be talked about, right? Like, everything's good, right?

[28:07] Like we worth all the stuff we worth because we good at tapping And a lot of my last Darth Vader streams were just kind of like because I was just kind of spinning my wheels Because again I thought I was supposed to be playing it

[28:21] I thought I was supposed to be doing the expedition. I thought I was supposed to be doing all this. But that's not the kind of game Arc Raider is. It's just, it doesn't have enough content for that. For players like me, I can say. There's some people still playing Arc Raider and loving it.

[28:34] That's awesome. But for people like me, I played it for like almost 100 hours, and I was like, I can't, like, I need more, man. I need more. If you want me to expedition, if you want me to do all these systems,

[28:47] I need, like, you've got to push me to it. As a gamer, we need to be directed. But, yeah. Arc Raiders, to me, is always going to be the confusedness opportunity.

[29:00] Unfortunately. And I think, I honestly think that another game like Arc Raiders is going to come out. and they're going to nail the long-term stuff and I think that's going to be the next, like,

[29:12] core thing. Like, they have the foundation of being the next big live game and they just... Ah, yeah. Stuff.

[29:28] I feel for the devs, too. I really do. I feel like the devs probably want to do more and their hands were probably tied There was a lot of passion in the base game of ARK, man.

[29:40] A lot of passion. The game is still to this day. The stuff that's there is great. I really enjoyed that about the game. Still has some of the best sound design of any game I've played.

[29:53] Still get chills thinking about the screams from the kings and barons. Love that stuff. Are you planning to return to Doom for console launch this week? No, I don't think so. I just don't have the time.

[30:06] To their credit, and very nice of them, the Dune guys wanted to do an interview with them. If any other time, I would love to talk to them about it, but I can't do much.

[30:19] I already have a bunch of sponsored stuff, and I don't want to add in a bunch more. I'm going to start not being able to finish games I'm trying to finish. It's a great problem to have, don't get me wrong.

[30:31] I am planning on trying Dune eventually in the single player mode. curious how that's gonna work. I mean I kind of played Dune single player anyway when I played, so I'm kind of curious how they're gonna do that. So that we may check out at some point.

[30:46] You finish games Kappa? I mean I try, but I don't chew off it unfortunately. Oh cool boat! Yeah I know I'd love to talk to him sometime about it. I'm gonna be making the round,

[31:01] like any streamer that wants to chat about Emberville EA once EA gets here. I'm all about it, man. Can we go through there? No, that can't go anywhere. Are we, we may be done here. I think this place moves around a little bit. And that doesn't go anywhere.

[31:19] Got all this stuff in here. We have to make sure we push every single room in these scripts because one of these rooms did have a tablet that shows us what a fall through. That is a dead end right?

[31:33] We're at a kitty? We got one up top. Looks like Joe's up top right now. Alright guys, I think we're done here. Hell yeah.

[31:45] Mark it off as we move it. That one locked off. Super chat. Super chat. How are you turning

[31:57] Dude, oh man. Abiotic Cracker to friendos. I played so well. That's so much fun.

[32:10] That's been so much fun. Entry says, did you see that Aspen has 100 mil views on his Ember Gold? I did. And he titled it very nice.

[32:22] It was very, that was very kind of him. That was very surprising to the team. That was very kind of them. We hope he enjoys the egg. If he plans on fighting. We'll see.

[32:35] Duke! I think I'll let this play for a moment. If you ever find yourself swimming along the scene, mind how many dudes is very fun.

[32:51] Ben. I'm sorry what?

[33:06] alright we are good here what the hell was that sound? Oh, that was the sort of sign. Okay.

[33:23] Man, this tree is messing up my farm over here. You know, actually, I think it's probably coming around this way. They seem to come around this way. So if we can get, like, this little bit down, then we're going to be good.

[33:43] Let's try that next time. I feel like Chug Chug is being next to a fire. Thanks for that. That's awesome. All right.

[33:55] Time to move to the next one, chat. Let's see. I think we've got one right next to us, which is awesome. Here we go. It's right here, I think.

[34:10] Oh, shit. Yeah. Oh, I thought I was fine there, dang.

[34:22] The hitboxes are very generous under there, I appreciate that, Deb.

[34:43] Oh, God. What was that? I'm stuck on his leg here.

[34:58] Does the dropper not get hit by him? Bro, are you serious?

[35:11] All right, we got to go. God damn it! That sucked ass! Jesus Christ, man! One of every enemy in the swamp decided to fight on in! Ugh!

[35:23] Good God. You know what I should do? We should go ahead and proactively bring over a portal that we can try to keep next to this. Maybe we'll build like an actual little wall-bend base over here.

[35:36] That's the average swamp experience? yeah yeah that was that was rude let's let's actually do that though so we're gonna grab some food

[35:53] let's make some bear meat Why do you have an actual cooking thing? Don't ask. Um, alright, let's see. What?

[36:09] I came back with some arrows on me? Hmm. Never seen that before. Interesting.

[36:21] Uh, we're just gonna do this for now, I think. Let's see if we can grab a hammer. Oh, I had a hammer over there. Can I just make one? Yeah.

[36:43] Great. Uh, what? Where's the other stuff? For hell? Where's the firewood and the glorified? What is going on, man?

[37:01] Are they auto-sorting? Oh, they're auto-returning. There they all are. Okay, we got a matchup. Oh, dude, they must have dropped onto the ground the second that the auto-pulse picked them up.

[37:13] That's funny. Okay, I think that's what happened. All right. Zidus says, I'm in such a bad spot in my run. I located where a bone mass is but it's surrounded by planes and upon making my way over I started to build a base and decided to sail a bit further to find where the altar is that is a battle view of my base portal is now passed by a seagull.
