The Watch That Carries a Father's Legacy
60sEmotional storytelling about a watch passed from father to son resonates deeply, appealing to viewers' sentimentality and desire for meaningful traditions.

This video offers an inside look at a private mastermind event for e-commerce founders, hosted by Polaris, a consulting program. It captures the atmosphere, the advanced topics discussed (investment strategies, tax optimization, asset protection, and founder mindset), and the value of community and mentorship in scaling businesses from small beginnings to multi-million euro revenues.
A father wore a watch for 18 years and gave it to his son on his 18th birthday, symbolizing the transfer of the father's energy and values. The speaker bought similar watches for his sons, engraved with their names and birth dates.
Polaris sells a consulting program, not a course. The key difference is the accompanying consultant. The program has four phases, from setting up a store to scaling to a real company.
The Polaris VIP group is limited to 10-12 brands. This private session covers advanced investment strategies, tax optimization, asset protection, and protecting founder focus, attention, and energy.
The speaker shares a new definition of money: not the number in the bank, but the time and effort invested. This shift in belief increases concern for how time is spent and what is fair compensation.
To achieve better results, one should work with the best, not with those who copy or do similar things. Committing fully to a project and using the best resources leads to achieving goals.
The speaker helps consultants and entrepreneurs work on their mindset and mentality to overcome challenges, enabling them to lead their business, team, and life.
The focus is not just on tactics for acquiring clients and profitability, but on the personal transformation required: moving from entrepreneur to businessman, overcoming limiting beliefs, fears, and self-sabotage.
A 1% improvement each day is a realistic expectation, unlike expecting 9-10% daily growth. This realistic mindset helps maintain consistency and avoid disappointment.
Oscar and Enrique, Polaris members since 2021, grew from billing less than €2,000 a month to several million euros last year, doubling or tripling year after year.
The program focuses more on building a serious company by scaling with teams, rather than just e-commerce tactics. Good companies are built by good people, and founders build those people.
The real competition is not with other brands but with the founders behind them, who face adversity, stress, and uncertainty. Events like this are turning points for founders to become business owners.
Jesús presented on finance for e-commerce entrepreneurs, a highly anticipated topic. Many store owners lack clarity in finance, and Jesús adds value with his extensive experience.
A PIP defines a date by which employees must demonstrate they can perform tasks well, with additional support over 30-90 days. If they don't improve, they may be let go.
If a company gets customer acquisition right, it can scale practically without limit, even if other areas are imperfect. This was a key takeaway from a 3-hour conference with 200+ slides.
The next topic is creating a brand and a content system that sells, not just goes viral. Many stores lack a predictable content system and a team to consistently produce content.
Create one piece of content and extract multiple formats: a reel, a carousel, a post on X, and a longer LinkedIn article. One concept, four pieces of content on three platforms.
The program has made the speaker's day-to-day more structured, with a clearer idea of where to go and how to get there. They went from trial and error to a clear methodology.
Attendees value the community aspect, surrounding themselves with people in similar situations, learning from each other, and feeling recharged. The atmosphere is a key benefit.
People who attend all events grow 50% faster. The event provides knowledge, closeness, and proximity, which is more powerful than expected.
The video showcases the transformative power of a private mastermind for e-commerce founders, emphasizing the importance of mindset, community, and structured systems in scaling businesses. The key takeaway is that surrounding yourself with the best and committing fully can lead to exceptional growth.

16:06[00:28] bought a watch that he wore for 18 years, and he wore it every day of his life and when his son turned 18, he gave it to him and somehow 18, he gave it to him and somehow that watch carried within it the pulse and
[00:42] energy of the father during those 18 years, right? The child didn't know that birth on the back, and I thought it was a very good idea. The ones I bought when my son was born are engraved on the back with his
[00:54] name and his date of birth. Hey, chubby. Hey, chubby. I'll be arriving there on 510, so I think we can stretch out the breakfast [music] part a little bit longer, uh, because
[01:08] other before we start with the introductions. And from there we go hard. Hugs to everyone and have a great day!
[01:24] As I mentioned before, that's why it's the highest phase of our program, right? We only sell one thing, which is a consulting program, and the difference between a course and a consulting program is that the main value we provide is that you have a consultant with you
[01:37] who accompanies you. The program has four phases from the moment you not even have a store yet, but you want to set one up and launch it and generate your first few thousand euros without advertising, and then depending on your scale level
[01:50] you have three more levels, okay? And at Polaris, what we help you do is go from having an online store project and a well-paid job real company. Goodbye, Roberto, thank you.
[02:05] thank you. Have a good day.
[02:17] the Polaris VIP group. We have a group of about 10 brands. Uh, we always limit it to 10, 12 at most. It's a very, very small group. Well, the room may seem big, but it's a very, very small group. Uh, obviously
[02:29] today is a super private session. We're going to talk about very advanced investment strategies , tax optimization, and asset protection, but also geared towards protecting the focus, attention, and energy of the founders,
[02:43] right? The vast majority of all those resources have to be in their those resources have to be in their company and they are very eager to see how far they will but also their personal wealth, which is ultimately what everyone is
[02:57] is ultimately what everyone is looking for. [music] daily because in
[03:13] work, we put in effort, and what we get is money after optimizing for net profit, optimizing for taxes, and yet, well, we don't have a clear definition of money, and the one that has given me a lot of clarity is
[03:26] this one, right? Wow, when I changed my belief that money was the number in the bank or the coin, which is the main definition we usually have, I suddenly started to worry a lot more about this because,
[03:38] worry a lot more about this because, wow, all the work I put in I want to wow, all the work I put in I want to the time I put in are very important to me. What do you think you can
[03:51] achieve? What is fair compensation? How are you going to pay for it? Okay, so what do you understand, you know? You enter. They've been quite blown away by the hunt for how
[04:05] money really works, and how people who have real money manage it to make their lives better. Now we're going to have a lunchtime, where we'll probably delve deeper into the things
[04:19] they're talking about right now in small groups, and then we'll go eat. That's it for today's VIP day. The way I've seen better results happen is when you
[04:34] and eat well, if you really want to grow, you should go with the best, with the best option, not with those who are trying to copy or do similar things. So, if you really want to commit to this project, well
[04:49] consider all the resources you'll need , but give it your all, work with the best, and you'll achieve your goals. Well, at that moment, for me, as I experienced it, it was like, "Okay, we've found the pieces we needed to do this,
[05:03] "Okay, we've found the pieces we needed to do this, leadership. So I'm here helping the consultants. These great entrepreneurs need to work on their mindset, their mentality, so that they can overcome all the
[05:17] encounter along the way, which are many, as you can imagine, through many, as you can imagine, through themselves, they can then lead the business, lead the team, and lead
[05:33] any aspect of their life in general. Very soon, I get up at 4:30 to and then I can be with them and I finish early Yes, exactly. These are all mine, I don't know anyone. Hi Sonia, how
[05:47] For faces, for faces I'm a fantasist, man. [laughs] Yes to you, yes to you , my friend. All time is reversed for you . Yes, we worked together at Apple with this gentleman . I
[06:01] because most of you at this event are new. Ah, yes, you are, like, it's your first
[06:19] not just the tactics of how I acquire more clients, how I become more profitable, the, let's say, colder business tactics, but above all the person we have to become, right? How do we go from entrepreneur to businessman, and
[06:31] cross with limiting beliefs, fears, and a lot of internal self-sabotage—not every day yes or no? Yes, indeed. Because? may be a day when you improve by 9% instead of, of course, there are
[06:48] days when we don't recognize ourselves. How crazy. Yes, of course. There may be some that every day we're going to improve by 9 or 10%. No, it's not good. Because? Because it's not true, it's not realistic, it doesn't come close to reality. So, perhaps
[07:01] or something that will immediately make it start working is an expectation that is not reality be? Well, sometimes circumstances are on your side and help you. aware and remember. The only reality is that a 1% improvement each day is
[07:17] because it's a very realistic expectation, very realistic. Sometimes it will be difficult, telling myself?" and you'll be aware of it. It was a brilliant presentation by Max. Max, apart from being my friend and a fantastic guy, has, I don't
[07:34] know, more than a decade of experience in very high-performance environments. Eh has been working, in fact, with all my managers as well and it has been very intense. Okay, I think if someone watches the recording of what
[07:46] watch it they'll find something new that will be useful for a different situation, right? So, it's been brutal and people have left completely blown away. And now we're going to sit down with some
[08:00] members of Polaris who have been working with us since 2021, so this is their sixth year. Hey, they're Oscar and Enrique, they're two magnificent founders. They've grown very, very fast, I think, I mean, they came in when they were billing
[08:14] less than €2,000 a month. Uh, last year they made several several several several million euros. Well, they've been doubling and tripling year after year for several years . This year they have already started by doubling it. Founder of an e-commerce business, whose
[08:28] life, like mine, depends on what my store does. Well, maybe many bucks that I have in my pocket, I'm sure of it , than hiring a guy to make content for Instagram because I don't know if it's going to work for me, right? And
[08:41] that's something that this company, Óscar, and I have always been clear about, right? That point of making decisions, even if it makes me lose a long run it will surely work out because I have tools like consulting and also I
[08:53] have my uh that I want to investigate, I want to know how it's done and I know that it will turn out well in the long run. two pieces of advice. So those are the two things two pieces of advice. So those are the two things I would tell him, and uh, what I want is this,
[09:06] a kind of podcast, but it's only for Polaris members to share what their journey has been like , especially the things they've the program's resources, and how they've dealt with that mega growth of
[09:20] going from €1,000 a month to tens of thousands of euros a day. So, with the usual backstop, I really liked how he summarized what steps that need to be taken. I, for example, have presented a dilemma I currently have regarding
[09:34] the company and it has helped me, well, to clarify a little the decision I have to make. The doubt we had with Jesus is that agency for 8 years and had already worked with coaches, invested quite a lot of
[09:47] money in different things. Sometimes it had worked for me, sometimes it had things. Sometimes it had worked for me, sometimes it had n't. It wasn't working at that moment, but we noticed it had a lot of potential and it was already like our only play.
[10:00] So, like Jesus offered in his advertisements, well, that information, right? So we thought, well, maybe [music] yes, well let's try this with our last resort, let's say, either I do this or it was like throwing in the towel because in the
[10:17] online thing I saw, I mean, I saw it as super clicked, very difficult and I don't know what felt very identified, I don't know, like I've had a super fast growth.
[10:32] because I didn't know anything. I just didn't know how to do social media, but just the basics. I was used to selling in a physical store, in a small town, with the neighbors from the neighborhood. Clear. We
[10:45] 've talked about e-commerce maybe 10% of the time and we've focused more on the good company, how to make a serious company by scaling with teams
[10:57] mainly, which is something that isn't talked about as much, but it's what ultimately makes companies. In other words, good companies are ultimately built by good people, and good people are not the founder or the CEO.
[11:13] However, it is the CEO and the founder who build the people who principles that I think has most puzzled them , but it hasn't been the most important thing either. The most important thing has been to focus on the
[11:25] founding dimension, right? It's about understanding that we're not so much competing with the next big fashion brand or the cosmetics brand that apparently sells the same thing as me, but with the founders behind it all, right? with the
[11:39] people who, faced with adversity, stress, anxiety, and the uncertainty of building and scaling a business, decide either to give up or to keep going
[11:51] [music] and expose themselves to all that they see as difficult, right? These events are turning points for founders who go from entrepreneurs to business owners, but when you want to go from having a project, even a well-paid one, but
[12:06] with very intense work, to having a company that works for you, with a company that works for you, with a compact team of good people, who take back your time, your attention, and your energy so that you can just concentrate
[12:18] on what your company really needs, on what you are the best at, and on what on what you are the best at, and on what you like the most, it's a huge change, isn't it? And tomorrow we have quite a bit more going on, so we're going to be with the clients for a while longer
[12:31] and I'm going home with my son because I do n't miss a bath or putting him in his n't miss a bath or putting him in his crib. So, that's the way to go. It's
[12:44] whole room ready here for the coffee of all the clients. It's the third day, so they've been together for a couple of days now and have been eating, having dinner, so nothing, waiting for them [music] and at 10 we'll go hard.
[13:01] Today we have a presentation by Jesús in which he will talk about finance for e-commerce entrepreneurs, a highly anticipated presentation for our clients because, as you know, they are all online store owners and often
[13:13] lack clarity in this area, right? They know a lot about the product, about suppliers and so on, but in the finance area is where Jesús can add the most value because he has extensive experience in this area. It's a
[13:30] PIP, a personal improvement plan, which is basically defining a date from today which is basically defining a date from today where the things I've told you and verified you know how to do well, you have to do well, and on top of that, we're going to
[13:43] work together more during this time, which might be between 30 and 90 days depending on the role. And what happens is that if this, if this, that is, if you do is that if this, if this, that is, if you do
[13:56] or you can leave now. Okay, this solves a lot of things. It's a tense situation, okay? But you also can't go with people who you tell things to 20 times, check that they know how to do them well, and they're still there in the company.
[14:09] leaves us with enough margin to acquire another customer. In other words, we can make mistakes throughout the entire company, we can do everything wrong, but if we get this right, we can scale practically without limit. It was a
[14:23] nearly 3-hour conference, with 200-something slides, plus guides and 70-80 page templates, but if I had to give one piece of advice, that would be it. In the end, today's talk by Jesus was about finances. I understand that he has
[14:39] done a more basic level of finance because, well, being founders, there will be people who come more from a finance background, and people who don't, but in the end, those of us who already really master that subject also benefit because it's
[14:53] a different approach, a review, and the truth is that the way he explains it and the way he conveys it is, well, it opens your eyes and makes you think. Well, I'm leaving with a huge checklist, 1000 things to do. Well, it's also true
[15:09] that with clarity on how to do it in 7 days, 15 days, 30 days in the long term, well, they are very useful and I'm very eager to put them into practice.
[15:23] content conference, especially one adapted to e-commerce. We'll probably see how, I mean, what brand means and how to create a brand, because it's something that's very much up in the air, right? So, let's see how to apply this to e-commerce brands,
[15:36] how to upload content that sells, not just content that goes viral, and how to content system. I think one of the biggest problems most stores predictable system; they don't upload content very often, and even if they edit it
[15:50] themselves or others do, they don't have a team or a system that constantly talk about these three points and try to answer all your questions. And is designed for people who either have little equipment or entrepreneurs like yourselves
[16:06] who don't have much time to spend all day recording yourselves. This basically consists of creating a piece of content and extracting multiple formats from it. For example, a reel about three mistakes when buying
[16:20] a reel about three mistakes when buying moisturizer. Instagram carousel with the three ideas. You can create a post on X or Twitter, depending on what you call it now , and a longer article on
[16:35] LinkedIn with more context. One concept, four pieces of One concept, four pieces of content on three different platforms. this is the change of mindset. Well, my day-to-day life has changed because it's
[16:49] more structured. Well, I have a clearer idea of where I'm going to get to, where I need to get to , how I need to do it, and I have a plan. We were at a point where we really had to make a decision and say, "Hey, what do
[17:02] we do? Do we go all in or will we have to close down in the end?" Because because until then we did everything a bit by trial and error. that time was that, not knowing him at all, I do remember
[17:15] the cold emails from there, contacting him and all that, and of course, the promise was very powerful, and it was like, but what is this guy I don't know at all telling me, you know? And from then until now we have
[17:28] gone from being a hobby or a part-time job for my wife to a company with a given me a clear methodology and steps to follow, and the
[17:42] interesting. Well, this is our first time at a Polaris event, and it's been really cool. It's been a really cool two days. I'm not so much interested in the consulting aspect, which is great,
[17:55] the overall atmosphere, because in the end we're all in the same boat. He another. Then you can always learn something from someone new in some way, and recharged, which is the most important thing. I think it's a great way for us all to
[18:10] get to know each other, see how other stores are operating, and talk to the founders at a first-level level. You surround yourself with people who are in the same or a similar situation as you, who in your day-to- day life don't understand you, or they do and
[18:26] have knowledge; we help each other and it's really cool. I loved it , I loved the presentations, lots of wow moments, need to look at, and above all what
[18:40] meeting the whole consulting team in person [music] and meeting all the people in the community, which I value immeasurably.
[18:52] after really being with clients since Tuesday, we're going to close the event at a really cool restaurant, a dinner all together. Well, it's a moment of total ecstasy,
[19:05] but you also have to be aware that afterwards you get the whole comedown, right? Because we've finished an event, we've spent two and a half days with the Polaris group, but the day before we also had intensive sessions with some
[19:17] of them, so it's been four super intense days. tired you are, how much your feet hurt. I've been barefoot since I finished my presentation and it's been really
[19:31] received is that this has been the best event, right? And that's kind of the goal we're aiming for better than the last. Not only do we give them a lot of knowledge, but above all we give them closeness and proximity to each other in
[19:45] different environments. It's much more powerful than we think, and when we analyze and how they have used the resources we give them, the reality is that the people who come to all the events grow 50% faster and the
[20:00] sooner they get into execution and action to continue celebrating results with them, and it's truly a pleasure to be able to accompany them and see how far they are able to take their brands and their lives as entrepreneurs. So I'm
[20:17] their lives as entrepreneurs. So I'm very happy.
