Charlie introduces the video, stating he will share 12 daily habits that have increased his income and changed his life. He emphasizes these are real habits he practices.

[00:00]
Habit 1: The Posted Three

Every morning, write three must-do tasks on a physical Post-it note. This prioritizes the most important tasks and provides a sense of accomplishment when checked off.

[00:00]
Habit 2: Talk to AI Daily

Use AI like ChatGPT or Claude as a business partner for writing, brainstorming, research, and more. Dictating to AI is 3x faster than typing, increasing output by 5-10x.

[00:00]
Habit 3: Live in Your Calendar

Schedule everything—work blocks, gym, calls, personal stuff—on a color-coded calendar. If it's not on the calendar, it doesn't happen. Use a booking link to automate scheduling.

[00:00]
Habit 4: 2-4 Hours of Deep Work

Block 2-4 hours of uninterrupted deep work daily. One long focused block beats scattered work. A UC Irvine study shows it takes 23 minutes to refocus after an interruption.

[00:00]
Habit 5: Switch Work Locations

Change work environments throughout the day (home office, coffee shop, couch) to boost creativity and focus. A short commute provides a mental reset between work modes.

[00:00]
Habit 6: Listen to Podcasts/Audiobooks

Spend 30-60 minutes daily listening to podcasts or audiobooks to learn new ideas and stay on top of trends. Take notes on important ideas to reinforce learning.

[00:00]
Habit 7: Put Everything on Recurring Schedule

Automate recurring tasks like grocery orders, house cleaning, and supplement subscriptions to reduce decision fatigue. Adults make 35,000 decisions per day; automating small stuff frees brain power.

[00:00]
Habit 8: Wellness (Gym, Cardio, Stretching)

Exercise daily for at least 23 minutes. Morning exercise boosts productivity all day. Business owners should optimize their health to perform at their best.

[00:00]
Habit 9: Hand-Eye Coordination Sport

Play a sport like tennis, pickleball, or basketball daily. Racket sports can add up to 10 years to life due to social and coordination benefits.

[00:00]
Habit 10: Dial In Supplement Stack

Use a pill organizer to take supplements consistently. Charlie takes magnesium, zinc, multivitamin, omega-3s, creatine, whey protein, and casein protein based on a blood test.

[00:00]
Habit 11: Sleep with Phone Away from Bed

Keep phone away from bed to avoid scrolling. Use an Eight Sleep mattress pad or a standalone alarm. 87% of people sleep with their phone; be in the 13% that don't.

[00:00]
Habit 12: Protect Friendships and Meet New People

Set at least one social outing per week. Social connection is the number one predictor of a long, healthy life. Maintain relationships and learn from other entrepreneurs.

None of these habits are complicated; they are simple actions done consistently over time that compound to create a successful and fulfilling life. Start with two or three habits and gradually add more.

If you clicked on this video, you're probably looking to incorporate some habits into your life as an entrepreneur. And what I'll say is you are in the right place because in today's video, I'm going to be going over 12 different daily habits that I do as an entrepreneur that have actually really increased my income and changed my life for the better. This is not just some random list. These are the things I actually do. And while

I might not be the most successful entrepreneur, I've definitely built a life that I'm really proud of. And even getting to the next level is going to be possible because of these habits. If you don't know who I am, my name is Charlie. [music] I just turned 34 years old. Now, I'm a business owner in Southern California that runs a few different businesses. I've been an entrepreneur ever since I basically graduated from college. I seriously credit

these habits to getting me where I am today. So, yeah, thank you guys so much for joining and let's get into it. So, the first daily habit I want to talk about is the posted three. I just made up this name, but [music] basically every single morning, what you want to do is you want to write three of your must-do tasks [music] for the day on a physical posted note. So, here's an example of the posted

I wrote today. Basically, we have film daily habits video, so this video right here. We have build AI dashboard for my company and then finalize [music] academy website. So, I like to put a check mark next to each cuz I actually like to do the check mark. It feels fulfilling. But yeah, just get a bunch of post-its just like this and every single morning have it on your desk. It should be one of the first things

that you do. Or if you don't want to do it in the morning, you can also do it at night just to plan out your day. Now, throughout the day, I either have this with me on my computer like as a posted note or I put it on my screen on my other setup. But yeah, it's just really nice to have something that's actually written. It feels like a physical thing, not just another piece of text

on your screen. And the reason why I limit it to three [music] is not because I only do three things, but because these are the three most important [music] things and my main priority for the day is to at least finish these three things. Yeah, if I do these three things today, my day is going to be a win regardless of how the rest of the day goes. So, I highly highly encourage you guys to just

try [music] this really simple thing. Okay, the next daily habit is you want to talk to AI every single day [music] like it's your business partner. So, AI should be one of your most used apps. I'm talking ChatGPT or Claude. It doesn't really matter what you use, but you want to basically put it at the same shelf as your [music] text on your phone. I know you guys check that a lot as well as probably your

email. So, I basically use AI for everything, right? I use it for writing, for brainstorming, for research, for answering questions, for business [music] brainstorming, so much stuff. And what I will say is that this actually increases the output that [music] you're able to do as an entrepreneur by I want to say 5 to 10x, probably even more. And so, what I like to do is I like to have these apps open at all times on my

computer because [music] if it's hidden away, then you're going to forget about it. And instead of typing everything, you guys, I like to use my voice because this works a lot better. So, I use just something called WhisperFlow. Not sponsored by them, but essentially instead of typing things [music] to AI, I dictate it. You just click a button on your keyboard. It's going to capture your voice. You're going to say a big prompt or whatever. And

this is so much faster than typing, you guys. Or specifically, I think it's like 3x [music] faster because when you type, most people write only like 53 words per minute, whereas when you're talking, [music] it's more like 160 on average. I've also set up my AI to where I can actually talk to it from my phone. So, if I'm out for a walk or I'm in my car or whatever, I can actually talk it out and

have it actually do stuff. I have a ton of videos about AI on my channel, so I'll actually link some down below. And what I will say is that the people who win in the next 10 years are the ones that treat AI like an employee that works 24/7. It's not just some app. It's something that should literally be in your hands that you are using 24/7. Okay, the next daily habit that I found really helpful

is living in my calendar. So, basically everything that I do goes into my calendar, right? We're talking work blocks, talking gym, different calls, even personal stuff. So, basically if it's not on my calendar, it doesn't happen. This made a huge impact on my life because before I wasn't using my calendar for much stuff. And so, I'd forget about different things, I would fall behind, and it actually helps keep me really accountable and on track. When you

are juggling a lot of different things as a business owner, it's really important to have it very, very organized. And so, not only does my calendar protect my time, but also blocks time for certain things that I need to do that other people cannot steal or that you can't talk yourself out of because I know that happens a lot. Another thing I did was build a Book a Call with Charlie Calendars through GoHighLevel. It syncs with

my calendar, so it knows when I'm available and not. And so, someone asks for a call or something like that, instead of manually scheduling it, you can just send them that link. They can select from the available appointments, and that way there's not a lot of back and forth, which really wastes your time. Oh, also, every single thing on my calendar is color-coded. So, for example, workouts are in yellow, personal stuff is in pink, meetings are

in purple, and so on. Okay, the next thing that you must incorporate [clears throat] into your daily life is 2 to 4 hours of uninterrupted deep [music] work. So, this is where the real money gets made because one long focused block beats an entire day of scattered work. And yeah, this was totally me before, right? Before I started to time block, I would bounce around being really reactive to different things. I'd spend, let's say, 5 10

minutes on this thing and then jump to something else, and it just didn't really work. Every single notification or contact switch resets your brain, and you're just not able to work efficiently. I saw this really cool stat from UC Irvine that said that it takes about 23 minutes to fully refocus after a single interruption. So, if you do the math, five interruptions, which is very likely every single day, that's 115 minutes. So, basically, 2 hours of

bad work every single day with just five interruptions. For example, I do my best work when I'm on an airplane, right? It's just me and my laptop and Wi-Fi, and there's nothing else happening. I'll get more done in a 4-hour time block on a plane than sometimes an entire day at home. What you want to do is you want to recreate the airplane on the ground. How I like to do that is [music] I have my

phone in another room. I have notifications turned off. I have a time block on my calendar for between 2 to 4 hours. I recommend 2 for most people and I have a very, very clear objective which goes back to that posted note that I had I showed you guys before. My goal is to literally just do whatever I can on this in that time block. So, I encourage you guys to try this out. Just take a

2-hour time block in your day, schedule it on your calendar for deep work. Give yourself some type of reward after that 2 hours and just see how this just completely changes your workflow. Okay, so this is a bit weird but the next thing that I do is I love to switch up my work location. A lot of people are able to work in one single place for the entire day but that is definitely not me and

I think most of you guys watching this video it's the same thing. So, what I like to do is let's say morning I'll work at home in my office. Then in the afternoon I might go to a co-working space or a coffee shop, bust out another like 2 or 3 hours of work there. And let's say after dinner I'll do work on the couch with my computer. And yeah, the whole thing is like I want to

switch up my environment because for me this wakes up my brain. And also for me routine kills creativity. So, if I'm in the same place every single day the entire day, I don't feel creative at all. And then also research shows that changing your environment sparks new neural connections and it can actually boost creativity and focus. And try not to do this just in your house, right? Like that's good but a small commute from let's say

your house to a coffee shop might take 5 to 10 minutes. It gives you like a clean mental reset between work modes and that's really helped me out a lot. The next daily habit I'm going to talk about is spending 30 to 60 minutes per day listening to podcasts or audiobooks. So, this is how I stay in the know, right? That's because I listen to a lot of podcasts and in these podcasts they talk about new

ideas, new tactics. You see how other people are winning, what the trends are and this is very important as a business owner. The best thing is that what used to be pretty dead time turns into learning time, right? So, if you're driving, if you're walking, if you're at the gym, you're getting ready, you can just pull on a podcast instead of just turning off your brain for an extended amount of time, you can actually learn things.

Now, as I'm listening, I have my phone and I take notes on really important ideas because things that you don't write down, it's very, very easy to forget. And what I can actually do is go back, look at all these notes, sort of relearn them, and really drill them into my head. Being in business is like being in school for the rest of your life. You guys already signed up for this as an entrepreneur, and the

people that stop learning get left behind. So, if you can literally introduce 30 to 60 minutes of this type of learning every single day, I guarantee you you're going to become a better entrepreneur. And yeah, you're just going to be a lot more well-researched, on top of things, and understand the trends that are happening within business that you can implement right now. And real quick, I want to take a second to tell you about the sponsor

of this video, Intuit, and [music] specifically Intuit Enterprise Suite. Hear me out because this is a tool that I think every entrepreneur should know about. Okay, so, if you've been watching my channel for a while now, you know that I am all about building systems, especially since I run a few different businesses myself. So, that's why I recommend Intuit Enterprise Suite. It's an ERP, which basically just means one system that does everything you need to run

a business. I realized that certain stuff like spreadsheets and reporting have to get done, but it doesn't mean these tasks move the business forward. So, instead of bouncing between a bunch of different apps for each of your businesses, everything actually lives in one place. It's also AI native, which means it has a team of AI agents handling the work for you. For example, the finance agent puts together a full monthly breakdown across all your businesses, which

one's making the most, where the margins are, what's growing, what's not, stuff like that. You can pull up real-time numbers anytime instead of waiting until the end of the month. The more of that that you can hand off to AI, the more time you get back. And that frees up time to do things only you can do that move the business forward. It's also super fast to get up and running in days, which is way faster

than how long an ERP usually takes to implement. So, yeah, if you guys are serious about building a real business, you need the Intuit ERP. The link is down below, and now back to the video. Okay, the next daily habit I want to talk about is I try and put everything on a recurring schedule. So, what I mean by this is, let's say a recurring grocery order, or recurring house cleaning, or a recurring massage, recurring meetings.

The whole point with this is that you want to stop re-deciding the same stuff over and over again. It's interesting because adults make about 35,000 decisions per day. Of course, a majority of those are very minute decisions, but we still are making a bunch of bigger decisions every single day, and that can really drain your mental battery. This actually leads to decision fatigue, which cripples so many entrepreneurs. And so, by automating small stuff, that frees up

your brain power for the big decisions. It also kills the mental load of remembering a bunch of different things. It's really hard to remember, "Oh, I need to buy strawberries because we just ran out." Or for me, I used to always have to remember to buy more protein or more supplements. So, I just have all that stuff on a recurring schedule being sent here, and it's been an absolute game-changer. The stuff that happens the most consistently

in my life are the things that are on my calendar on a recurring schedule. And you can get really creative with this, right? It doesn't need to just be appointments or meetings. Like I said, you can have things set to actually just ship on their own. For example, I know every, let's say, 120 days I run out of my multivitamin, so I have that on a 4-month subscription. This has been so good for my decision fatigue,

so I really recommend doing it and just trying to make a lot more things recurring in your life. Okay, the next daily habit I'm going to call it wellness. So, this includes gym, cardio, stretching, all that stuff. I'm almost home from the gym, and I was literally in the gym for about 23 minutes total, which means you guys can absolutely get a crazy good workout, and I did, uh, in not much time at all. I think

people spend way too much, uh, time at the gym. So, yeah, now I'm coming back home, and I have my Chinese lesson. I've been working out since I was like 13 years old, and this is a non-negotiable for me as both an entrepreneur as well as just a human. I think it is so important to do things like lift, cardio, stretch, all that stuff. And it's really not just about looking good, while that is awesome, it

actually makes you better at business, makes you live longer, and it just introduces a lot of good habits into your life that I think the majority of people in the world lack. It's been proven that people who exercise in the morning are way more likely to feel productive all day. And so, if you're watching this and you're currently not that active, it's okay, but I just encourage you to try to find something that you enjoy doing

and incorporate into your routine. So, for me, I love to work out. Somehow, I've been blessed with liking actually going to the gym and working out. I also do cardio at least two times per week, and while I hate cardio, I know that it's really good for me. And yeah, there are a million different things that you guys can do for your wellness and your health. And so, what I would recommend is just slowly start stacking

these things [music] together, find out what you like to do, what's sustainable, and just make this a very big priority in your life. The weirdest thing I see is business owners that are not in shape at all, which just doesn't make sense for me, because how are you able to perform at your best within your business if you yourself as a human is not optimized in terms of health, right? It just doesn't make any sense for

me. This brings me to the next daily habit, which is do something that requires hand-eye coordination every single day. It's likely going to be some type of sport. So, we're not just lifting, right? Like playing actual sport like tennis, pickleball basketball again like anything with hand-eye coordination. So, this trains your brain in a way that the gym or just doing cardio doesn't, right? It helps with your reaction times, with your focus, anticipating what's happening, all that

stuff. There's actually a really interesting study that found that people who play racket sports add an up to 10 years to their life. And this is a lot more than running, cycling, swimming, or any of these other things. A big aspect of this is the social aspect of racket sports, as well as that coordination element. So, for me, I like to play pickleball. I'm getting back into tennis right now. We love playing random sports on the

beach like frisbee. And yeah, everyone should have a sport that they are into, that they do on a regular basis. Okay, the next daily thing I do is really dialing in my supplement stack. So, personally, I'm pretty lax with my food. I don't count my macros. I do try to eat relatively cleanly most of the time, but I'm super super strict with my supplements. So, I bought this thing on Amazon, like you can get them for

$8. It's basically a pill organizer, and this thing has been an absolute game-changer for me. So, every morning, I'll take a set of pills, and every night before bed, I take another set of pills. And once every week or two, I will, you know, re-up this, and this has allowed me to be very very consistent with my supplements. I don't think I've missed taking supplements in months. Essentially, what I did was I took a blood test.

It showed me the things that I was lacking, and then I literally just bought all the supplements. I also have things like, of course, magnesium, zinc. I take a daily multivitamin. I take omega-3s. Another thing I take every single day is creatine, one of the most well-researched supplements that I think everyone should take. I guess I can also count my protein. So, I take whey protein after every single workout, which is basically every single day, and

then I always take my casein protein, which is slow-digesting protein, before I go to bed. This helps boost my overnight muscle recovery, and also reminds me to take my pills, because I take my pills with that casein protein drink. So, while a supplement stack is not going to save you from a really poor diet or really poor habits, it's definitely something that does help, and I encourage you guys to figure out what supplements you want to

take, and then do something like I do to keep yourself really consistent with it. The next daily habit I want to talk about is sleeping with your phone away from the bed. This is one of those small tricks that I'm super surprised that not that many people do. I think the reason for this is because most people use their phone as their alarm when they wake up, and so yeah, it has to be somewhat close to

the bed. Now, there are a few different ways to fix this. One is you get something like an Eight Sleep. This is a mattress pad that I've had for many many years now. It's been a game-changer, and it helps cool the bed, track all my sleep analytics, and I set my alarm through my Eight Sleep. So, instead of an audible alarm like most people have, the way that I wake up is my bed starts to vibrate.

It only vibrates on my side, right? My fiance is not affected. And I find that this is the best way to wake up because if my phone were next to me, I would probably wake up and just start scrolling social media. When I wake up and don't immediately have my phone in my hand, that allows me to go to the bathroom, brush my teeth, and actually get started with my day. 87% of people sleep with their

phone in their bedroom, and so you want to be part of the 13% that does not do this. You're also less likely to scroll before going to bed. And of course that helps your sleep, and I'm not going to talk about that in this video, but sleep is very, very important. Oh, and the other way is to just not use your phone as your alarm. Buy a stand-alone alarm, and just use that instead. Okay, the next

daily habit is you want to protect your friendships and always meet [music] new people. So, this is not probably a daily thing because most business owners don't have time to hang out or go to dinner with someone every single day. But what I encourage you guys to do is set at least one social outing per week. One is the absolute floor. I think three to five is going to be more ideal. So, this does two things

at once, right? The first is it keeps you human and not just like a robot entrepreneur. And the second is it puts you around other entrepreneurs. I cannot tell you guys how much I have learned from, let's say, just getting lunch with another business owner. You're maintaining the relationship, but you're actually also learning. And seriously, the worst type of life that I can possibly imagine having is one devoid of relationships. Even with all the money, success,

and all that stuff, without good relationships in your life, just I think life becomes somewhat meaningless. I'd like to invite, let's say, five or six people to come on my Duffy boat in Newport Beach. We'll take the boat out on the water, hang out. Of course, going to lunch and dinner with friends, saying yes to powerful invitations, and actually going to events. Yeah, research after research shows that the number one predictor of a long, healthy life

is social connection. And the reason why I have a pretty solid network is because I actually put effort into building my relationships as well as maintaining my existing relationships. That's why I highly recommend you guys put effort into this, make it like a daily thing, or at least once every day or two. And yeah, just stop working all the time like a robot. So yeah, as you guys can see, none of these habits are that complicated.

It's just 12 relatively easy things done consistently over time that has compounded over years and really helped me achieve the life I have right now. You don't have to do all 12 of them perfectly. Start smaller, pick two or three of them, lock into those, and then start adding more. I really hope you guys got some value from this video. And if you guys did, make sure to hit the like button, subscribe. I'll put a bunch

of different resources that have really helped me out as an entrepreneur down below in the description. So I encourage you to check those out. I hope this video helps you build a better life as an entrepreneur, and I'll see you guys in the next one. Peace. >> [music]
