I tried yoga every day for 30 days as a complete beginner. Day one, I found a 20-minute beginner routine on YouTube and jumped right in. As I started to get into this practice of doing yoga every day, I realized that it's actually much harder than it looks. And surprisingly even though I've spent the past 15 years going to the gym, my arms were shaking like I never lifted a weight in my life. I kept going day
after day showing up and doing yoga the best I could. And as the 30-day challenge went on, I started to notice that I was getting more flexible, my balance improved, and I even felt calmer, like my brain had finally unclenched. I I think the older that I get, I am getting less and less flexible, and I am having more and more back pain. I've already started to realize how much yoga can help. Literally sitting down on
the ground right now as I am, it's getting easier to do. I've gotten 10 to 15% more flexible uh over this time and that alone has made a huge difference. By the end of 30 days, I was hooked. While I won't swap it for weightlifting, I do want to try to keep this into my routine going forward. If you've never tried yoga before, I say roll out a mat and give it a shot. Just maybe don't
