30 Days to Twitch Affiliate: A Realistic Growth Journey

[04:09] you're gonna have zero viewers, absolutely trolling as was not doing it for me.

[04:23] where there's not that many streamers, Okay, so during the call, Rox suggested been blowing up recently.

[04:35] because there are so few streamers, but really ready to go stream my first impressions of the game,

[04:59] Backpack Battles is so much fun! game? Then what do I do?" like, super sucked into.

[05:39] The thing is, though, making YouTube so I was kinda nervous to go all in. So over the next few days, I streamed a

[05:52] the streams to my new channel. and my Twitch watch a RANDO suck at the game.

[06:05] then sure, it wouldn't matter. and a better Backpack Battler. Some of the stuff is kinda obvious, like,

[06:21] "Huh, you know, it's actually very boring thinking out loud instead." As for getting good at Backpack Battles,

[06:34] were at least diamond in rank. credibility as a streamer. game that I'm good at,

[06:47] And so I climbed my way up. platinum, to still platinum. I have been trying to grind all day,

[07:02] So, it's that kinda day. Time is ticking away towards day 30. And I'm still stuck at 93 platinum.

[07:15] know, change strategies, move on." "Oh, I'm so freaking "Well, oh, but once you hit diamond, your

[07:30] content better and stuff." I'm gonna hit diamond. of trying to hit diamond...

[07:44] Oh my god. game so much the past few days. I have at least a few builds that work

[07:58] like I know so much lot more educational and And with my new diamond-level gameplay, I

[08:10] So, I continued streaming every day, VODs, and surprise, surprise! So, clearly the takeaway is

[08:23] But anyways, it is currently day 14, And I'm just not seeing the probably need to expand my reach.

[08:37] and you need people to This is kind of a funny hand-dresher. TikTok and Instagram Reels are way better

[08:49] And my hope is that by making them, I can and funnel some of them into Twitch. strategy super hard.

[09:01] I made a brand new TikTok and single hour of my day I could But as each day passed by, I started to

[09:15] maybe one of my videos had blown up, stats and fall back to reality. Instagram, still a flop.

[09:29] it felt like my Twitch viewership was Ugh, I'll be honest, guys, I'm feeling Like, what I'm realizing is, even though

[09:43] Five or six of them are my IRL friends, up every day when I stream. worse, even though I probably haven't.

[09:56] just talking to yourself. not even an hour today, I don't know, guys.

[10:08] And honestly, during this time, there And I was like, "What is wrong with me? Like, the main thing keeping me going was

[10:21] and I just wanted to see it through. And sometimes life works out in funny right when I was literally

[10:47] streaming to literally no one, But yeah, I do really have to thank and helping raid me, because, ugh, the

[11:00] Because then it puts you, like, you know, likely to click on you, And honestly, this one really good day

[11:14] Okay guys, so in the 10-ish days I have impossible to grow, like, affiliate is pretty reachable.

[11:27] because that's when you start making And you can have subs and custom emojis, And also, I found out that being a Twitch

[11:39] And, you know, the next milestone after So, yeah, I think affiliate is a good I continue to power through.

[11:52] to get traction as well, even when I wasn't streaming. and let's see if we hit 50 overnight.

[12:08] 55 followers! overnight if I'm lucky. Somehow, I got six followers overnight?

[14:30] and I just had so much fun chatting with just like watching the game. Well, let's start with the stats.
