09:15[00:02] feeling like you're on the right track, and then suddenly discover after five or a few years that you were building on shaky ground. You work, write, and get tired, and you feel like you're moving around a lot, but you're not progressing. I'm talking lot, but you're not progressing. I'm talking about a real experience from a long period of years where I felt like
[00:17] I was busy but not accomplishing anything. I learned the lessons the hard way, through pain, loss, suffering, and wasting time and money. At a certain point, on top of the pressure of work and exhaustion, I asked myself a certain point, on top of the pressure of work and exhaustion, I asked myself a very simple but very important question: Am I really
[00:31] satisfied with where I am now and where I intend to go? And the answer, of course, was absolutely no. That's when I started reviewing everything: my decisions, my relationships, my daily habits, my daily tasks, and so on.
[00:43] daily habits, my daily tasks, and so on. I discovered a number of mistakes and challenges that were preventing me from reaching where I wanted to be. I made the decision that, as God says, "Indeed, God does not change the condition of a people until they change what is in themselves," meaning I had to change first. After that, the
[00:57] whole world would change. So today, I'm sharing seven key lessons, each of which was a turning point in my life. I honestly hope no one messes up like I did. So, if you're in your early, mid-, or even late twenties,
[01:12] this video is for you. I honestly wish someone had told me these things. In my early twenties, the first lesson was: Don't try to please people at your own expense. This was one of the first mistakes I made. I'd feel busy, like I had tasks I wanted to do after dinner, and then suddenly I'd get a call, a message, or something
[01:28] in the group chat: "Hey, how are you?" or something like that. So... I keep thinking I don't want to say no to them, I don't want to upset them, I'm afraid they'll be offended and hold a grudge, saying things like, "He's so full of like this, and sacrifice the work I had planned for today. Then one day I woke up and realized
[01:44] something crucial: no one will be with anyone else more than you will be with yourself. anyone else more than you will be with yourself. People go on to get busy, some get married, some get jobs, some travel, some pass away, but the person you'll spend the most time with is yourself. So don't
[02:01] neglect yourself for the sake of others. Sometimes life gets busy, circumstances get busy, and you won't see them as much afterward. And honestly, one of the biggest things we go through, especially, is parental pressure. They tell you, "Go into this major," or "Don't start a
[02:14] business, stick to your salary," or "Stick to your job," or "Don't do this, do that, fix this." You feel like you're doing things you don't even want to do. You do it, but to please people, what's the second thing? So always try as much as you can to control everything
[02:28] that affects your life and don't flatter anyone at your own expense. The second lesson is that life has two rules: choose what suits you. Life is either you struggle at the beginning and relax at the end, or you relax at the beginning but pay the price later. I always loved going out, staying up late, walking around, changing the atmosphere
[02:43] with friends, playing games, and having fun. If someone asked us, "Okay, so what about the future? What are you planning to do?" and we had a plan to develop ourselves and our skills, we'd immediately say, "Later, God willing, things will be good." But that "later" might be too late, and with time, you'll find that the people around you
[02:59] are progressing while you're still in the same place. Everything has a price, and for us Muslims, it's the way of life that we struggle in this world to relax in the hereafter. We struggle at the beginning, praying, fasting, performing Hajj, and restraining ourselves from things that are forbidden, all so that we can relax in the end and
[03:15] go to Paradise. We relax and enjoy ourselves there. The third lesson that affected me greatly was: be careful not to affected me greatly was: be careful not to lose your focus and energy. Sometimes we have free time; we're not busy or stressed, but we're not making progress. We have a
[03:28] task that should take six hours to complete in two, but suddenly I feel like I've spent all six hours, and it wasn't enough. So why are we talking about losing focus or the energy that makes you do all this work? The main reason was the phone. You open TikTok or Instagram,
[03:44] watch a video, for example, thinking it will be five minutes and then you close it. Suddenly you feel like you've spent half an hour, and suddenly you feel like your eyes, dopamine, and focus are very high. Then suddenly you put the phone down and start working, but you feel like you're not focused. Things take longer, and you feel like you've
[04:00] used up all your energy and dopamine. So here's the problem: the brain sprays you with free dopamine every time you look at social media. You feel happier, more euphoric, more like dopamine. Let me tell you, it's very simple and free. Instead of getting that dopamine from accomplishment, you don't get it.
[04:16] You feel like you're working, not actually accomplishing anything. You don't feel the happiness of accomplishment because you're influenced by the saying you should cut out social media, but at least be aware of how much content you consume, who you follow, and when you follow them. The most important thing I learned is that your time isn't
[04:31] just the hours you spend in a day; your time is your energy and focus. If you deplete that energy and focus, you wo n't be able to accomplish things properly. And the fourth lesson and piece of wisdom we all learned, but which we actually felt, is that most of us, in the later stages of our lives, believe that "birds of a feather flock together" and surround yourself with people who are like you. The easiest
[04:48] way to get rich and wealthy, if you want to become rich, is to sit with a group of become rich, is to sit with a group of rich and wealthy people, spend your day with them, have fun with them, listen to each other's stories, confide in each other. Suddenly, you feel like that, unconsciously. I voluntarily became like them. You
[05:03] go out and start a project, you do something, and you feel like you're keeping up with them, and you've become one of them. On the other hand, most of us probably don't have strong connections, connections with people, businessmen, and all that stuff. Our relationships are limited to family, young people, the
[05:18] neighborhood, your school and university friends, and work colleagues. And they're not rich or wealthy. So how can I find this group that motivates me, that I voluntarily work and get excited until I become one of them without even realizing it? That's exactly what I went through. I
[05:33] lived in a very ordinary society, not one with extremely rich or wealthy people. Okay, I wanted to enter this field, I wanted to have this experience. How do I do it? At first, I tried to enter the world of books. I read this book, then that book, and I started taking information from
[05:47] here and gaining experience from this person. This one had 40 years of experience, and I took all of it from him. Thank God, I got a great start. But then the point was... The turning point in my life that influenced me in this regard was when I started creating content on Twitter. I found people who were like me; we shared the same ambitions, the same way of
[06:02] Twitter. I found people who were like me; we shared the same ambitions, the same way of thinking, and the same big aspirations. They were businessmen, marketers, e-commerce entrepreneurs, and so on. This one worked with such-and-such companies, that one had his own business, and another, God bless him, was acquiring another company. So I joined them, started following them, sharing my
[06:16] ideas with them, and suddenly my mindset began to change. My goals grew, my self-confidence increased, and I transformed from someone who was content with little to someone with big ambitions. The point here is that you will be influenced by the people around you in life. If they share the same goals you want to achieve,
[06:31] same goals you want to achieve, you will become like them. If they are in a negative field, for example, or waste their time on idle chatter and such things, you will be indirectly influenced by them. And of course, they don't have to live with you; it could be an online digital community where people listen to them, follow them,
[06:45] hear their ideas, their experiences, and all that. Consequently, they will eventually influence you. On a positive note, the fifth Consequently, they will eventually influence you. On a positive note, the fifth lesson is that a job is important, but it builds you up with principles and experiences. Many people tell you, "Leave your job! A job is slavery. A job doesn't allow you to
[06:58] advance; it makes you work for others." Don't just work a job; on the contrary, it's very important, especially in the beginning, for two main reasons. First, you'll learn a great deal, especially if
[07:10] you work in different or large companies. Second, it gives you a stable and secure source of income that helps you build capital, even if it's small. This capital will allow you to think about
[07:22] very profound projects and ideas. Imagine someone who is broke, for example, and doesn't have a single riyal. Do you expect them to come up with very successful project ideas? Most likely not. Their thinking will be limited to how to get by, how to manage this or that situation, or something like that. Even if they get a
[07:36] project idea, they won't have the liquidity to implement it, so what good will it do them? But when you have a stable income or capital that you can invest, On the side, ideas will come to you from where you least expect them. You'll see something and think, "I can import a product from China like this and sell it in that
[07:52] market." You'll see a video on social media and think, "Okay, there's a need here, people are complaining about this, and I'm trying to address that need." A job is also a means to an end and can help you start your own projects in the best way possible. But don't let your whole life revolve around a
[08:06] job. Okay, you're employed, things are good, but try to do some small things: a shop, social media services, anything. I'm saying this because I personally know people who left their jobs and started their own businesses, maybe with a small amount of capital, but they didn't have a
[08:22] steady income from their jobs. They left completely, and consequently, they started facing challenges in their businesses and projects. They couldn't make sound decisions because they were worried about losing their remaining money. And the sixth lesson is that you don't know everything, no matter how much knowledge,
[08:38] experience, skill, or anything else you acquire. The more you know, the more you know, and the more you don't know—it's a new I've never met before, or someone I've just met, prefer to ask questions and listen more than I
[08:51] speak. I know this person has information and experience I don't possess, so I'm ready to let them speak while I listen, learning, developing, and
[09:03] stop learning, stop developing, stop reading books, stop taking courses, stop all of that. The moment you stop developing yourself is the moment you set a ceiling or limit
[09:15] your ambitions and where you can reach, especially in your twenties. The more you learn in your twenties, the more you'll apply all that information throughout the rest of your life—in your thirties, forties, and fifties. And the last and most important lesson, which I honestly consider the secret to success in this life and the hereafter, is your
[09:31] prayers and seeking forgiveness. All the previous lessons are means; we act on those means, but we mustn't forget to rely on God Almighty, and we mustn't forget that our success in work, sustenance, or business comes from Him. Everything is by the grace of God Almighty. Just because I watch a certain video or start a certain project doesn't mean
[09:47] I'm guaranteed to profit. Profit comes from God Almighty, not from any particular person or teacher. So, if you feel like you've lost out on a project, or that you've failed, or whatever, even if you're
[10:09] succeed except through the grace of God Almighty. Seeking forgiveness is the secret to wealth and abundance, and there are many stories about it, most of which you know. It's enough to mention the Prophet's (peace and blessings be upon him) saying: "Whoever constantly seeks forgiveness will be provided for from where he least expects it." Imagine, you might be working on this path, and
[10:23] sustenance will come to you from here, from there, from there. Try increasing your supplications for forgiveness now. Believe me, in just one month, God willing, you'll feel the change. If you have any lessons you've learned in
[10:35] your life, please share them with us in the comments below so we can all benefit and learn. We're all in this together, and we'd be very happy if you supported me with a like and subscribed to the channel. Thank you, thank you, thank you for watching, and I thank you for watching, and I hope to see you in the next video. Yeah.
