Do You Have Certainty in God? (If You're Stressed, Watch These 4 Minutes)

[00:02] our lives, things that make the world seem bleak and unsolvable. But, by the grace of God, as soon as we have faith in Him, the problem resolves itself. Someone might have an illness and go to several doctors, each telling them that

[00:16] their condition is incurable. But, by the grace of God, He suddenly heals them. When you you find that this person had very strong faith in God. One day, I had a very big problem, and I felt like the

[00:32] world was dark and closed off because of it. I was sitting there, feeling down, when someone closed off because of it. I was sitting there, feeling down, when someone I told him about my problem, and the first question he asked was, "Do you

[00:49] have faith in God?" I replied, "Yes." Of course, I definitely have faith in God, but deep down I was a little uneasy. He went back to the same question and asked me, "Are you sure you have faith in God?"

[01:01] When he said it like that, I felt like thinking. I thought for a couple of seconds, and as soon as he noticed me, he said, "Look, if you want to know the true meaning of faith in God, listen to the story of Moses." This was one of the most important moments

[01:16] that made a huge difference in my life because it was the first time I'd ever heard the story of Moses, but from a completely different perspective. We all know the story of Moses and how Pharaoh fought him because Moses wanted to guide his people, but Pharaoh always fought him for that and always wanted

[01:32] people to worship him, not God. So what happened was that Moses decided to take his followers with him to escape Pharaoh's tyranny because Pharaoh would kill any of them if he caught them. So who heard the news? This is about Pharaoh. As soon as Pharaoh learned of this, he began chasing Moses and his

[01:46] followers. Some ran, others ran after them, until Moses and his followers reached the sea and suddenly found themselves facing it. Pharaoh and his army were about to attack them to kill them. This was a pivotal moment, showing him the difference between

[02:00] someone who has strong faith in God and someone like us who does n't have that strong faith. What happened was that Moses' people thought, "We're doomed! Pharaoh will catch us and kill us!" But Moses' reaction to this situation was completely different. He said, "No! My

[02:15] Lord is with me; He will guide me." His people, of course, couldn't believe it. They thought, "What are we going to do? The sea is in front of us, and Pharaoh and his army are right behind us. We're going to die! It's over!" But, by the grace of God, the miracle we all know about occurred. God revealed... Our master Moses

[02:29] struck the sea with his staff, and the sea parted. Moses and his followers began to pass through the sea unharmed. Then, as the last of Moses' people left, the sea closed upon Pharaoh and his army, and they all drowned. This is the point here: the point of certainty in God. Having

[02:45] impossible situations is crucial. Of course, when I tell you about a situation like this—that the sea would part and Moses and his followers would pass through—it's impossible. But this is the point: certainty in God. Many times we face problems in our lives, things that seem to make the world seem bleak and unsolvable.

[03:01] But, glory be to God, as soon as we have faith in God, we find that the problem resolves itself. Someone might have an illness and go to several doctors, each telling him that his illness is incurable. But, glory be to God, suddenly,

[03:16] reason behind this. You find that this person had very strong faith in God, and that's why they recovered. For example, a woman who couldn't conceive went to all the doctors, and they all told her it was impossible for her to have children, yet suddenly she conceives, even though medically it's not possible. But again, the

[03:32] told you about, and many others, all point to one thing: having good faith in he says that God told us, "I am as My servant thinks of Me." You can also deduce from this hadith the

[03:45] same thing: to have faith in God. But be aware that there's a difference between optimism and faith in God. Optimism means you're always waiting for a positive outcome, always waiting for something good to happen. But faith in God means you always know that what will happen is good, even if what

[04:00] happened seems bad to you, because good always lies in what God chooses. And here comes a supplication that I love very much, and this supplication always reassures my heart: the supplication of tranquility, "O God..." Grant me the serenity to accept the things I can change, and grant me the courage to change the things I can change.

[04:14] And grant me the wisdom to know the difference between them. So, take this as a rule: have faith in God. Whatever happens to you in your life, whether good or bad, know that as long as it comes from God, it is for your own good.
