Best Budget Microphone For Gaming & Streaming Under $35

[00:00] These are 6 budget microphones between 18 and 35 dollars. We will unbox all of them, check them out, and then compare them all together so you can find the best option for you. The first microphone is the Movo UM-700,

[00:15] and this is a very heavy microphone. Compared to some other budget mics, this definitely feels pretty professional for the price. This one is the UM-700W. It's the white version. There's also a black version, and one of the reasons why I wanted to include this microphone is that

[00:31] it's a very tall one. So as you can see the way I'm sitting, you don't even need a microphone arm to bring it close to your mouth because it's already right here, and that's really going to help the mic against some other ones that will be much smaller. Clearly. Now the price of this microphone

[00:46] is around $35, which means it's one of the most expensive ones in this video. It comes with a mute button on the front and then also with a volume knob for the headset monitoring volume. Then on the back you can adjust the gain, which is the sensitivity of the microphone, and you can also change

[01:01] your polar pattern. I chose cordial, which is standard, and then on the back you have the mount, a headphone jack, and the USB-C port. Let's listen to the first test of this microphone. This is a test of the Movo UM-700 while it is standing on my desk. Then the next microphone is

[01:18] the FIFI-86V. This is an extremely popular microphone. Many of my viewers will recognize this. Now I want to be clear that this is not a sponsored inclusion. FIFI and sometimes sponsors the channel, didn't sponsor this video. This microphone is just too good of a deal not to include it. It has a

[01:35] 4.6 star rating on Amazon with over 13,000 reviews. It's available in black, white, pink, blue, and red, and it's often priced around $32. Now for that price you got a great sounding microphone,

[01:49] RGB when we turn it on, a pop filter in the front, and a capacitive mute button on the top, as well as a volume knob on the bottom. It doesn't feel very heavy like professional microphones,

[02:01] but for the price the package that you're getting is just a great value for streamers, gamers and anyone who is looking for a good looking great sounding microphone for their setup on a budget. Let's listen to the first test that I did with this mic. This is a test of the FIFI-n

[02:17] Ampli Game A6V while it is standing on my desk. Next we have one of the cheapest USB microphones you can find. It's $18 on Amazon, and in the fashion the name also does not disappoint. This microphone

[02:29] is called the MRSDYVP5, and let's be honest this microphone straight up looks like a Razer Siren Mini with RGB. I would have loved to include the Siren V3 Mini in this video, but it's a bit too

[02:42] expensive unless it's on sale, but I guess we have the extreme budget version. The microphone has a volume knob on the front, and then on the bottom there's a few things, there's a headphone monitoring jack, there is also a button to enable or disable noise reduction, then this is a switch

[02:58] to enable or disable the RGB on the mic, and this here is just to mute or unmute it. One thing I really do not like is that on the inside there is a cheap foam pop filter and you can see it through the microphone. It's yellow and it's very ugly, but let's listen to the first sound test I did

[03:14] with this mic. This is a test of the MRSDYV5 LSJ while it's standing on my desk. Next is a microphone from a brand I have never heard of before. This is the Cocoa NICE ME6S. There is no doubt this mic

[03:31] heavily looks like the 5.8. I also have not tested that microphone. I couldn't include it in this video because it was too expensive. I also think it's a dollar microphone and this one they just look very much alike. Now the price of the Cocoa NICE ME6S is around $27. It comes with a headphone jack

[03:50] on the front which is a pretty unusual location, then on the back there is a USB-C port and on the bottom of the microphone you can adjust the gain. Oh and before I forget there's also a capacitive mute

[04:02] button. On the top, now forget the 5.8 that I mentioned before. It is super similar to the 5.8.6V, both capacitive mute buttons, both pop filters, both the same type of shock mount and on the bottom

[04:16] you can adjust the volume in the same way or well adjust the gain. I am very curious to see both of these compare to each other. Let's listen to the test of the Cocoa NICE ME6S that I did right now. This is a test of the Cocoa NICE ME6S while it's standing on my desk.

[04:33] Then next we have the Zeal sound USB microphone. It is sold a lot on Amazon over 3000 times in the past month but for some reason I have very little trust in the capabilities of this microphone. Maybe

[04:45] it's because of the super fake product images on Amazon like this one. I'm not sure but I had to include it to check it out because it sold so much for a microphone that doesn't look like a popular quality product. I've also never heard of this from other creators. Now in terms of all the buttons

[05:01] we have a mute button right here then this is to change the gain of the microphone. This is to change the monitoring volume of your headphones and then this here is to add Echo which again makes me

[05:14] feel like this is not a serious product. Anyway on the bottom we then have the USB-C port and then the headphone monitoring jack. Let's listen to the first test of this microphone. This is a test of the Zeal sound USB microphone while it is standing on my desk. It doesn't have a model name just USB

[05:32] microphone. Then next before we test all of these microphones back to back we have one of the most widely recommended budget USB microphones the 5 find K669 in this case the 669B because it's the

[05:45] black one. It is available in a wide variety of colors. Usually black is the cheapest. Now in order to clearly show you how you should look at this microphone how you should decide whether you're interested in it or not. In terms of how it sounds it's extremely similar to the 5 find A6V. The K669

[06:02] is way older but it's much heavier and it feels like a more well-built robust professional for the price microphone. The A6V is definitely much lighter but it does convey way more features. I made a

[06:16] whole comparison very about these two microphones you can check it if you want on the channel but in short you're trading the build quality of this microphone for a mute button on the top a pop filter in the front a shock mount and RGB so you're getting along with this microphone and that's also

[06:33] while the sales on this one have been slowly declining while the sales of this one have been taking over. Now in terms of features of this one the only thing you're getting is a gain knob on the front and that's pretty much it. It is just a budget well-built microphone. This is a test

[06:49] of the 5 find K669 while it's standing on my desk so it is time to check all of these microphones back to back. I will show you all the recordings of the tests that I did of all the microphones and

[07:01] I can clearly compare all of them and then after that I will give you my opinion on what I think you should buy in which scenario. This is a test of the Movo UM700 while it is standing on my desk.

[07:14] This is a test of the Movo UM700. The position is a bit awkward because it doesn't have a flexible stand so I couldn't really reposition it correctly as you can see if I want to move it up it is stuck

[07:27] right here. This is a test of the 5 find Ampli Game A6V while it is standing on my desk. This is a test of the 5 find Ampli Game A6V while it is on a boom arm. This is a test of the MRSDIV5 LSJ

[08:18] test of the 5 find K669 while it's on a boom arm. Alright this was a very interesting lineup but it's also pretty clear for me which of these are definitely a no-go which of these are amazing and then

[08:31] some of the choices will be up to you. The first obvious one to remove is the Zeal sound USB microphone. It sounded so much worse than all the others and it's one of the most expensive ones in this video so definitely getting rid of that one. Next I think we have to make a choice between

[08:46] these two microphones because they are extremely similar and there were two things for me that sat them apart. I will let you hear the tests when they were standing on my desk far away from my mouth back to back and I will hear that the 5 find one sounds a bit more warm and full than the

[09:01] coco noise. This is a test of the coco noise ME6 as this is a test of the 5 find Ampli game A6V. So if you want to use them on your desk without a microphone arm the 5 find is definitely the

[09:14] bad option. If you want to put them both on a boom arm close to your mouth the difference was less big. I will let you hear it right now. This is a test of the coco noise ME6 as while it's on a boom arm. This is a test of the 5 find Ampli game A6V while it is on a boom arm. In general I feel

[09:32] like 5 find is a more known brand than coco noise. It's also more versatile because it sounds better from afar on your desk. There's one thing about the coco noise that's better which is a headphone monitoring jack if you really want that that might be an option. I don't really use that if

[09:46] I had to choose I would keep this one because it's just great to put on your desk. It sounds good and it was clearly better on the coco noise in that scenario. I honestly just can't take this one seriously. It looks like a TV microphone. The yellow pop filter phone on the inside doesn't look

[10:02] good. If you're budget is under $20 it might be an option because there's very little options below 20 so it sounded decent for that price. So I guess maybe I should keep it right here and we might end up with four options. These ones sound extremely similar. Great value options for the price.

[10:19] And then the Movo honestly didn't sound bad. It's very close to your mouth because it's so tall so it sounds great even without a microphone arm. There is however a huge caveat that you should be aware of if you're using a microphone arm in the tests you might have seen me struggling with

[10:34] positioning it correctly. All of these other microphones connect to an arm but then they can also swivel or tilt or whatever on their own. The Movo one definitely gave me some problems but if you're not using a microphone arm it might be a great option. So there you have it. If I had to choose one of them

[10:49] I think I would choose the A6V because it just combines everything that you want in a budget microphone. It sounds great. It has a pop filter. It has a shock mount. It has RGB. It has a mute button. Game knob.
