Bleach's New Ending & Sequel Hints — Full Breakdown & Transcript

[00:01] collectively united on a topic for an anime or manga since Gojo versus Sukuna and Jiu-Jitsu Kaisen because everybody is talking about this generational episode. How it's been trending literally since the episode aired. It is

[00:14] still trending right now or Aheime's name is still in the top five trending worldwide on social media. I mean, we have it being a generational episode and it's so generational in fact that it actually managed to beat Eyes Show

[00:26] Speed's numbers on IMDb. And even if you don't care about IMDb, you don't care about ratings, this is a pretty significant feat. This means that Bleach managed to accomplish something that not any other anime has managed to do from

[00:38] my knowledge. This is something that is literally unheard of. You had an episode of Bleach managed to beat Speed's numbers for ratings. And I think that really just goes to show just how beloved the latest episode was. But

[00:51] beloved the latest episode was. But also, it is just such a crazy shift from what we had 10 years ago. I would like to remind everybody for those that do not know or unaware of it, Bleach was the bastard child amongst the uh the big

[01:04] three. It was the the anime and manga that was always the butt end of the joke. It was always the series that was like the worst out of the big three of always the worst. That's what people said. It was always tried to be shifted

[01:17] saying, "Oh, Dragon Ball should be there or something else should be there. It should never be basically Bleach." There was constant slander towards just everything. And then on top of that Oraheime slander, people continuously

[01:30] slandering Oraheime. She's a worthless female character. She has nothing going for her. That she is literally just there to say Kurosaki Kurasaki and that's it. And there was just nothing for her. And then in just a single

[01:42] episode, every little bit of slander just silenced in a moment. She managed to literally beat the final boss. She beat the final villain technically with

[01:54] just her abilities alone. And obviously the series is not ending with the latest episode. I will talk about that in a second in theories of what might happen next. But I do want to point out that Orheime did something that just

[02:06] completely stunlocked everybody and it's a generational episode because this is what should have been in the manga. And I talked about this already in my impressions of the episode, but I don't know if I should be happy or very angry,

[02:21] maybe a bit of both, on the situation because, you know, when Bleach's manga was coming out, there was just, let's be blunt, if you've read it, you know Bleach's manga ending was not received very well. It was very rushed. There was

[02:33] clearly a lot of content within it that was just should have been there that unexplained things, things we didn't get to see, all sorts of little things like that that just legitimately made people upset, myself included. And you come to

[02:46] find out Tae Kubo, he was in very poor health. And then also Shona Jump being shown a jump, they obviously kind of rushed him out the door. So he had a very rushed conclusion. He wasn't able to expand upon everything that he wanted

[02:58] to do. And so we left with a pretty big mess with Bleach's conclusion for its manga. And it was really upsetting because obviously there is a lot of potential Bleach had. And seeing a series that lasted for so long that was

[03:11] such a massive series being treated like it was was just such disrespect and it angered a lot of people. And when the series's manga came to a close back in the middle of uh I think it was 2015 or 2016, a lot of people were like, man, is

[03:25] anime announcement. There was no continuation of anime at the time. It's just like is Bleach a dead series? That's literally what it was called for a very long time. And so when the anime got announced, A Thousand-Year Blood

[03:37] War, it is so interesting to see the time period we are in now where the love for Bleach has literally shifted into the exact opposite of what it used to of people just shifting their opinions and being larers on the situation,

[03:52] newcomers to the franchise, but it is still very nice to see Tit Kubo and Bleach itself get a lot of respect that it deserves. And I think, as I've said many times in my previous videos I made on Bleach, I think Bleach is a story

[04:05] that is best appreciated as you get older. And I think that it's one of those series as you mature and you get older, it ages like fine wine. And I I I think when everybody first was reading Bleach like years ago, like if

[04:19] you were reading the chapters coming out, I feel like it was a story you became an adult. Because Kurasaki Ichigo's goal is very basic when you look at it on paper. He just wants to protect his friends. He just wants to be

[04:32] strong enough to protect everybody. It's a very basic goal. When you compare it Shonen Jump. When you compare it to, let's say, Luffy wanting to be the pirate king or Naruto wanting to be Hokage, you know, stuff like that. When

[04:45] you have these type of goals that are very fantastical and they're just giant, goals of wanting to just protect everybody, it is very simplistic. But really grown on people over the years. and why people have come to really

[05:00] appreciate Bleach because it feels more mature as a narrative and you as you get older you appreciate that you appreciate what Ichigo is doing. He is a guy that just wants to have a normal life. I mean hell when you see the journey throughout

[05:13] you know Bleach he's constantly trying to go to school but he's forced out of school because obviously the situation that he's frustrated in continuously throughout the story. He tries to maintain a normal life continuously, but

[05:25] he is forced into fighting hollowos and you know he's fighting other soul them just because he has to to be able to protect his family and friends and he doesn't want someone to die around it like what happened to his mother. So

[05:38] tragedy. Like I said, as you get older, I think you appreciate just the amount of detail that is poured into Bleach. you're younger. But obviously I'm going on a like a tangent. I I'm kind of

[05:53] rambling on. I want to get back into the main point of this video. The point is is that Bleach has just had such a generational episode. An episode that legitimately has changed everybody's opinion, I think, not just on Oraheime

[06:07] as a character, but Bleach itself. And really gives you a a bit of introspective on like what could have been. For instance, like imagine in a perfect world if Tai Kuba was able to cook and he wasn't rushed out the door,

[06:24] he didn't have poor health. What could we have truly received throughout the Bleach. The other question is is like, what could have happened in these other massive manga hits just really rushed conclusions out of nowhere? What could

[06:38] have been like what was going on behind the scenes? Obviously, we may never know. And as I mentioned in my discussion, it is a very rare thing for a series to get a second chance at life. And Bleach is obviously one of those

[06:50] series that has actually gotten a second chance at life. It is it's rare to see a able to prove itself that it is more than just a something to be slandered or a punching bag for the community. And I

[07:04] think at this point there's really nobody that could actually be or can use Bleach as a punching bag anymore without being very disingenuous. I in fact saw people today literally saying that the episode was overan animated. I'm not

[07:19] joking. When you have overan animated allegations for your series, yeah, no like when you have people they they can't even slander orime anymore. They can't slander Ichigo or anything and they have to use overan animation

[07:34] allegations against the anime. You know they have nothing anymore. And yes, sometimes some anime could be hard to understand what's going on in scene. There is nuance to the topic. But the point is is it's very clear what's going

[07:47] on. There is a lot of people in general that cannot stand the fact that Bleach is doing so freaking well and it is making records. It's been trending literally for over a day at this point. That's insane. And I I do also want to

[08:01] point out a few other little details as well is like Orheime is just a so powerful. Like I I just like this is legitimately insane. She beat the final boss of the story. And I think that is something that a lot of people are

[08:15] actually not fully understanding what how important that is that she was able how important that is that she was able to take down Yuaha Balk with her very to take down Yuaha Balk with her very ability. And that is absolutely freaking

[08:28] ability. And that is absolutely freaking wild. It means that her strength is she is like one of the strongest characters in the verse. Like straight up like that there there's actually no debating that like she she was able to just manhandle

[08:41] like she she was able to just manhandle Juha Bach like nothing. Okay. And now obviously we know he's not going to die. Okay. Like let's let's be honest, okay? It's we we're only five episodes into the season. He's going to come back. And

[08:55] if you have read the the special hell arc chapter, you know as well. But there is still a lot here that could potentially happen and split off from what we know within the manga. And I think that this is a perfect time to

[09:07] really discuss that. So what do I mean about splitting off from the main manga? Well, obviously the entire latest episode was 90% anime original content. Like it was not in the manga. like blood chain Ichigo the true bondai he had to

[09:24] Orheime going completely bonkers like villain demon mode and just getting rid of Yoha Bach everything about it was completely anime original Rukia being there and everything it that was that was not in the manga okay and I don't

[09:39] think I need to dive into just like like how insane that is but I'm going to anyways but the thing is is that there is a lot of speculation on what this anime original response. It means first off the very simple one is that Joabach

[09:52] as we know he um he got his abilities back. He got his ability at the end of the episode thanks to you know uh you know being able to beat his opponent. get his ability back to be able to see the future and all that and try to stop

[10:06] it and everything. And so we can assume that what we see happening in the episode is a future that Yan Bach actually sees that this is what he sees is going to happen. So, he needs to prevent it before he basically dies. And

[10:20] so, I feel like what's going to happen here is that the next episode's going to begin. It's going to show basically like Orheime's death and maybe Ichigo is We're going to have Rukia there. There might be a few minutes of that and then

[10:34] all of a sudden it's completely fixed. Oraime is back in place. Yohabak is back that from happening and his death as well, just everything. It was a future that, it's just going to be like, "Oh, so that's what's going to happen." So,

[10:49] instantly cuz he doesn't want that future to actually happen. Whatever the case may be, the biggest ongoing theory right now is everything within the episode is going to be prevented because of Bach's ability. That's what's

[11:03] I'm 95% certain that's probably where it's going to go. But there is other ways that the story can go and I think that this is something that um really needs to be talked about. Obviously, there is a very unique situation right

[11:16] now with Bleach, and that is we are now in uncharted territory with anime everything that we didn't even see in the manga. So, there is technically a possibility that we continue to ride on this timeline and that Boach is maybe

[11:30] this timeline and that Boach is maybe dead and it sets up for something after and something that is after the events of uh the ending of the manga. And I would honestly I would welcome that. I I think that, you know, completely

[11:44] rewriting the ending would not necessarily be a bad thing. I think that trying to do a different take on it and set up for maybe a a storyline would be really cool. Now, is this to happen? I kind of doubt it, but I do think that

[11:57] there is a lot of potential there. A lot of potential for maybe the ending to be just completely different. We go completely bonkers off the wall and it is not what we expect. But I'm going to temper my expectations and I'm just

[12:09] going to assume it's going to expand upon the ending, follow the main ending, episode is just a alternative timeline or whatever. But even still, insane episode and I can't believe like just how good it is. Like I have rewatched

[12:24] this episode like oh man like eight times now. It is it's just that good. It is such a fantastic episode that it is something that I will dare say it's probably one of the best episodes of Bleach. It like I would put it up there

[12:38] with the Kurosaki Ichigo versus Eizen episode and the Ultiora and uh Vasto Lord Ichigo like that those those two episodes live rentree in my head for literally a decade plus at this point. And I will say that this latest episode

[12:53] probably is going to live rentree in my head as well going forward. It is one of those signature episodes that you're going to go back 10 years from now and YouTube just because of how godly it was. That's what you're going to do

[13:08] I'm going to be doing and I am I know I'm not alone in that type of way. How I go back and watch certain scenes. So yeah, just uh I'm so happy for Bleach, man. The fact that it was able to reach the highest rated spot in history for

[13:23] anime on IMDb. Uh, the fact that it's still trending, the fact that orheime overan animation allegations, that's the only thing that people can use against it now. Bleach really has redeemed itself. Complete redemption and you love
