Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Hashira Training Arc Predictions

[00:05] discuss Demon Slayer kamit NOA the

[00:08] newest season coming hash

[00:15] training now this new season that's

[00:18] coming in about a month has sparked a

[00:20] lot of debate and confusion on the

[00:22] internet just based off of how you

[00:24] photable has prepared us for it which is

[00:28] zero and I'm not saying that's bad

[00:30] people are making it way more crazy than

[00:32] it is because this is how eup photable

[00:34] has always been they always wait to

[00:36] announce the episode count until the

[00:38] season has begun they always don't

[00:40] really reveal much during promotional

[00:42] reels this is all very normal to them I

[00:46] don't think that's really anything to be

[00:48] worried about however it is interesting

[00:50] because this Arc definitely has the

[00:53] biggest question mark as to how they're

[00:54] going to handle it now before I really

[00:56] get started as why it's like that I do

[00:59] just want to say that I'm going to ster

[01:00] clear of manga spoilers during this

[01:02] video however I'll do a few very very

[01:06] gray area manga spoilers like episode

[01:09] length chapter length that sort of thing

[01:11] if you don't want to know anything and

[01:13] head into the new season completely

[01:15] blind in your anime only this video

[01:17] might not be for you however I'm not

[01:18] going to say anything insanely spoilery

[01:21] at all I am also going to talk a little

[01:24] bit about episode 1 which has been

[01:25] released in theaters in America since

[01:28] the end of February so if you haven't

[01:30] seen that I am going to be discussing

[01:31] things that happened in that episode so

[01:34] just keep that in mind they're not

[01:35] really manga spoilers because the

[01:37] episode has been viewed by millions of

[01:38] people but if you haven't been able to

[01:40] see it and you're waiting for the season

[01:41] to come out on crunchy roll just keep

[01:43] that in mind as I will be referring to

[01:45] that episode throughout this video all

[01:47] right so let's get into it why is

[01:49] everyone confused well I don't know if

[01:52] confused is the right word I wouldn't

[01:54] say I'm confused I'm more just

[01:55] interested to see how they handle this

[01:58] the main thing is the hot shooter

[01:59] training Arc which is the only Arc that

[02:01] they're saying this is going to be is

[02:04] nine chapters long and now the common

[02:07] chapters to episode is three chapters

[02:10] per episode that's the way they usually

[02:12] adapt sometimes they do closer to two or

[02:14] 2 and a half sometimes they do a little

[02:16] bit more than three but the very common

[02:19] thing is three now episode 1 covered

[02:21] about three and a half it's kind of hard

[02:23] to say cuz they did move some things

[02:25] around however if we were really going

[02:27] off of what they commonly do that would

[02:29] mean we have

[02:30] two more episodes this

[02:33] season now I'm not saying they're not

[02:35] going to do that they very well could I

[02:38] don't think they are because no matter

[02:41] how I see it I just don't think that's a

[02:43] very smart decision why would they make

[02:46] this Arc a standalone arc when it's only

[02:48] going to be 1 hour long episode and then

[02:50] two normal length episodes doing that

[02:53] right before an arc that is as important

[02:55] as the one next to it in fact it's the

[02:57] most important Arc in the entire story

[02:59] it's it's not a great idea like they

[03:01] could really lose a lot of viewers after

[03:04] this Arc if they did it that way people

[03:06] would be like ah they're just milking it

[03:07] I'm kind of tired of this this Arc is

[03:10] not super action-packed not super heavy

[03:13] on emotions or life or death or anything

[03:16] like that so a lot of the people that

[03:18] watch Demon Slayer for those super high

[03:21] intense action sequences are not going

[03:23] to love this Arc but the thing is is

[03:25] that eup photable is doing what they

[03:27] always do they always release things Arc

[03:30] to Arc they've done that since the

[03:32] beginning even though season 1 felt like

[03:34] it was multiple arcs it was technically

[03:36] all the Kam Tanto unwavering resolve Arc

[03:39] and it just had a lot of mini battles

[03:41] within and then we had mugan train as

[03:43] one Arc Entertainment District as one

[03:45] Arc and swords to fill it as one Arc

[03:47] they don't tend to air multiple arcs per

[03:50] season but has the training was the one

[03:52] that I thought was most obviously going

[03:54] to be tacked on somewhere because of its

[03:56] length it's super short and it is

[03:59] extremely important but does it deserve

[04:02] its own Standalone Arc I don't know but

[04:06] we're going to talk a little bit about

[04:08] my theories on what they're going to do

[04:10] what I think the episode count is and

[04:12] what y'all can expect moving forward so

[04:15] my biggest theory is that they are going

[04:17] to add a lot of anime original content

[04:21] for those of you who don't know the

[04:22] first like five minutes of the first

[04:24] episode of H training where we see

[04:26] sonomy and obai fight a bunch of demons

[04:28] and end up in the infinity castle that

[04:31] entire scene was anime Original US manga

[04:35] readers had never seen that scene ever

[04:38] before in our lives so that already kind

[04:41] of lends itself to say that they're

[04:43] probably adding a lot to this Arc that

[04:46] doesn't mean that they're just going to

[04:47] make every single episode have 10

[04:49] minutes of original content but they

[04:52] definitely have the time to do that also

[04:54] I think the moment with Canal right

[04:56] after that where she like talks to

[04:57] shinobu was also anim original I don't

[05:01] remember that being in the manga either

[05:02] and I don't know if that's just me being

[05:03] forgetful or if that was just not there

[05:05] either but if it told me anything it

[05:08] told me that yes eup photable is 100%

[05:10] going to be adding new content and

[05:12] there's a couple ways they could do this

[05:15] number one is that they have three Canon

[05:18] novels that they can choose from to pick

[05:21] any of the stories in it and add it to

[05:23] the anime now I will say the third one

[05:25] doesn't really have I think any stories

[05:26] that take place during hash training but

[05:29] the second one almost the entire book

[05:32] takes place during H training they could

[05:35] honestly adapt every single one of those

[05:38] chapters into anime and it could be a

[05:41] lot of fun now I don't think they're

[05:43] going to for every single one because at

[05:46] least one of them took place already

[05:49] like it took place in between the time

[05:51] that they all arrived at the butterfly

[05:53] mansion and Tano waking up so it was

[05:55] while tanido was still in his like

[05:57] week-long Slumber so we we've already

[06:00] seen past that I don't think they're

[06:01] going to go back and show it unless

[06:03] they're going to do an episode very much

[06:04] dedicated to gya because this chapter

[06:06] was dedicated to gya and I freaking

[06:08] loved it I was really really hoping we

[06:11] would get that in the anime but I'm not

[06:13] giving up hope yet it might still pop up

[06:15] but there were so many chapters in this

[06:17] book that took place during this time in

[06:19] fact I think all but one took place

[06:22] during this and the one that didn't

[06:24] could technically still be used during

[06:26] this time it was just during an

[06:27] undisclosed time the material in the

[06:30] books however are not actually written

[06:32] by goog Sensei the mangaa they're

[06:34] written by someone else that was proof

[06:36] read by goog Sensei so I don't know if

[06:39] they're actually going to have those be

[06:42] in the anime when they're not originally

[06:44] written by them however I would say that

[06:47] they've already added quite a lot of

[06:48] anime original content that wasn't

[06:50] necessarily written by Goo Sensei so

[06:53] they very much could but they've got

[06:54] that material there and if they really

[06:57] want to stretch out the season they

[06:58] could absolutely use it there's also

[07:00] side manga

[07:02] stories there's one called The Tale of

[07:05] water and

[07:07] Flame the tales of water and Flame it's

[07:10] two like actual manga chapters not like

[07:13] a novel like the other three that I was

[07:15] just talking about and they follow guu

[07:18] and ren Goku the one for guu actually

[07:20] takes place like right after he met the

[07:23] comedo siblings for the first time so it

[07:24] was kind of actually interesting to see

[07:26] what happened directly after that and

[07:28] I'm going to be honest I haven't read

[07:30] Ren Goku yet I don't know why I just B

[07:33] the book recently and I read gu and then

[07:35] had to do something and I just forgot to

[07:36] read Ren Goku but I'm going to read it

[07:38] however each one of these could really

[07:40] be adapted as well eup photo bable loves

[07:42] Ren Goku they know that the audience

[07:45] loves Ren Goku and they keep adding him

[07:47] in wherever they can I wouldn't be

[07:49] surprised if they managed to add him in

[07:51] somewhere into this Arc that's most of

[07:53] the material that they could use but

[07:55] outside of that they could also just add

[07:57] a lot of anime original that is not in

[08:00] any other content something that I was

[08:02] thinking of is they could really slow

[08:04] things down and have each visit with

[08:06] each hash an entire episode now some of

[08:10] these go by really fast like in a few

[08:12] pages so they would really have to

[08:14] stretch things out and that's where you

[08:16] start to get to the point where it's

[08:17] like all right maybe we're stretching

[08:19] things out a little bit too much and we

[08:21] need to like move along here but it is

[08:24] an opportunity because if let's say we

[08:27] start doing one Hasa peris so once Tano

[08:30] starts training that would mean he got

[08:32] he's got to get through tenen he's got

[08:34] to get through muo then mitui then obai

[08:39] then sonami and then G so there's did I

[08:43] count

[08:45] right tenen

[09:14] option now there's a theory and this is

[09:16] more my husband's theory that I feel

[09:18] like I have to address is that he thinks

[09:21] that eup photable is just pulling the

[09:23] wool over our eyes and we're going to

[09:25] get a pretty decent chunk of infinity

[09:27] Castle in this Arc as well

[09:29] I don't really think that's the case

[09:31] because that would be way out of

[09:32] character for them they are only

[09:35] advertising hash the training I think

[09:38] we're only getting hash training and

[09:40] even with that the end of hash training

[09:42] no matter what way you look at it is

[09:43] going to end on a huge Cliffhanger the

[09:46] season itself is going to be pretty calm

[09:48] and chill but the final episode is going

[09:50] to be insanity and that's going to keep

[09:53] people watching but I don't think it's

[09:55] going to go really past the beginning of

[09:58] the next Arc if it does I won't complain

[10:01] because the next Arc is incredible but I

[10:04] would be very surprised if they did that

[10:06] and that's setting aside the whole leak

[10:08] that it's going to be a movie trilogy

[10:10] for the ark after this one but it's

[10:12] something to keep in the back of your

[10:13] mind they might just decide to surprise

[10:15] us and say hey here's a bunch of the

[10:18] next Arc

[10:19] congratulations I don't know why I said

[10:21] congratulations but so there are a lot

[10:24] of options with this Arc I think that

[10:27] this really begins the time where where

[10:29] eup photable can add a lot of stuff can

[10:31] add a lot of character interactions some

[10:33] Side Stories and they all will still

[10:36] move forward with the plot depending on

[10:38] how they write it in but they might have

[10:40] a lot of creative freedom with this

[10:42] season and I can see it definitely still

[10:44] being longer than three episodes so

[10:47] that's my perfect segue into my

[10:49] predictions on this season and how long

[10:51] it's actually going to be so if I could

[10:52] pinpoint it I would say it would be in

[10:54] the 6 to8 episode range I think if they

[10:58] stretch it and do their regular 11

[11:01] episode season I think at that point we

[11:04] will get so like stretched out that

[11:07] we'll just be like can we move on from

[11:09] this Arc because it really has a lot of

[11:12] important stuff in it but there still is

[11:15] a lot of

[11:17] just not exciting things happening

[11:20] granted I love this Ark and it's a lot

[11:23] of people's favorites Ark more because

[11:26] it's so chill compared to all the others

[11:28] it literally is the Calm before the

[11:30] storm I don't think that stretching it

[11:33] to a full 11 episode season is the

[11:36] smartest idea they're already getting a

[11:39] lot of flak for milking if they make

[11:41] this season 11 episodes it's going to

[11:43] kind of be insane milking but I think

[11:46] one of the reasons why it's not coming

[11:47] out until May is quite simply because

[11:50] it's going to be shorter I think they're

[11:52] still planning on the season ending

[11:54] around the same time and my reason for

[11:56] that is because of Anime Expo now Anime

[11:58] Expo is an American event it's in Los

[12:02] Angeles I went last year I'll be going

[12:04] again this year I don't see them

[12:06] continuing to air it past the weekend of

[12:09] Anime Expo which is 4th of July because

[12:12] I would assume they want to have a panel

[12:14] at Anime Expo where they can discuss the

[12:17] entire anime season fully not just part

[12:21] of it because it's still airing now do I

[12:24] think that Anime Expo is that important

[12:25] to them probably not however it is

[12:29] biggest anime convention in America and

[12:33] America is quickly becoming a very very

[12:36] very big fandom for them so I think that

[12:39] they still think about it and are like

[12:41] we should have it done before then am I

[12:44] right in this probably not and they're

[12:46] definitely not going to not be there

[12:48] because Demon Slayer panel had 4,000

[12:51] people inside that room and I heard

[12:53] thousands of people couldn't even get

[12:55] into it Anime Expo is by far probably

[12:58] their most important event in America so

[13:00] with that do I think it's going to end

[13:02] the same weekend as it did last year in

[13:04] June probably not because it's not

[13:07] starting until May 12th however I could

[13:10] see it ending at the very end of June so

[13:13] I think it was like 7 8 episodes or

[13:15] something along those lines I don't know

[13:17] I'm not looking at a calendar right now

[13:18] but that would be my best assumption

[13:21] plenty of time to get a little bit extra

[13:23] time with each one of these characters

[13:25] to dive into the back stories that we

[13:27] get this season a little bit more but

[13:29] not so much time that we're just kind of

[13:31] like oh my gosh get to the point that's

[13:33] my prediction and then when this season

[13:36] ends we'll finally know is infinity

[13:38] Castle going to be a movie trilogy or is

[13:41] it going to be a season we're finally

[13:43] going to figure that out all right y'all

[13:45] but those are my predictions as far as

[13:46] what hash the training Arc is going to

[13:48] be we are 1 month out I'm super excited
