The video explains how to avoid getting caught and limited by sportsbooks when engaging in arbitrage betting. It highlights common mistakes that flag bettors as sharp, such as betting too early, wagering on obscure markets, and using exact calculator amounts, and provides strategies to blend in with casual bettors to extend account longevity.
Chapters
Placing arbitrage bets hours or days before an event starts is a major red flag. Casual bettors typically bet minutes before the game or at halftime, not days ahead.
Betting large amounts on niche markets (e.g., e-sports first map money line, first half team total corners) with poor liquidity makes you stand out to traders. These markets are too obscure and books take little money on them.
For player props, check FanDuel's max wager size (visible without logging in) as a benchmark. Keep your player prop arb bets between $200-$250 max, as FanDuel's limit indicates the market's liquidity.
Betting exact calculator amounts (e.g., $155.78) is a dead giveaway. Round your bet sizes to end in zeros or fives (e.g., $130, $170) to look like a casual bettor.
Wait until an hour before the game, focus on main line markets (e.g., puck line), round your bets, and mix in parlays or personal opinions to camouflage your action.
Platforms like NoVig, ProfitX, Kalshi, and Polymarket welcome your action because they profit from volume. They are less likely to limit you compared to traditional books.
Live betting during games is harder for sportsbooks to detect as sharp, since casuals are always betting then. It offers high EV but requires careful filtering.
The key to successful arbitrage betting is not just finding opportunities, but staying under the radar by mimicking casual bettor behavior. Blend in, avoid obvious traps, and use exchanges to extend the life of your accounts.

[00:01] traps, or you'll get limited within days. I've made over $15,000 in 1 month using arbitrage betting, but here's what most people don't realize. The sportsbooks have gotten incredibly smart detecting arbitrage bettors. The first
[00:14] accounts nuked faster than ever is placing an arbitrage bet hours or even days ahead of when the event is actually starting. Think about this. I'm recording this video on a Monday. I open
[00:27] up OddsJam's arbitrage tool, and I immediately see a 5% return off of my investment on this player prop for this EPL match. But the problem is is that this match doesn't take place until Wednesday. How many casual sports
[00:40] bettors are logging into their account 2 days before the match starts to place a bet on an under for a player prop. You're essentially announcing to the trader that works at that sportsbook that you're a sharp bettor. So a crucial
[00:52] people that sign up and start using a software is that they're not mimicking casual bettors' patterns. Casual bettors behave completely different. They love to bet minutes before the game starts. They're watching that pregame show.
[01:06] opinion or get that gut feeling on which side they should take. They also love to bet at halftime because they're basing their entire opinion on the second half half. They don't wake up on a Monday morning, grab their coffee, and start
[01:20] smashing arbs and betting a bunch of unders for a player prop that doesn't happen for another 48 hours. That's sharp betting behavior. But the timing isn't the only red flag. There's another trap even more obvious to sportsbook
[01:33] traders, and it has everything to do with what you're actually betting on. That trap is placing large wagers on niche markets with terrible liquidity. tool, you can day trade the books to make a profit, but the problem here is
[01:48] don't take a lot of money. So naturally with arbitrage betting, the more money can make. And once you get the hang of this strategy, you want to seriously start to scale this operation. And that's where these plays become a
[02:02] massive problem. So, a huge issue with this first play is this is e-sports, and this is a first map money line. So, within e-sports, which is already not even in the top five of most popular sports to bet on over at the score,
[02:14] we're talking a niche market within a niche market. And then, when you start to wager $350 to $500 on this particular market, you're going to stick out like a sore thumb to the traders. Next, all of these plays on the Premier League are
[02:28] first half team total corners. This isn't the most popular market to bet on not betting on the total, you're not betting on the spread, you're not even betting on your favorite player to score a goal. This is extremely specific. So,
[02:42] where you stick out like a sore thumb is when you start to bet the under on a first half team total corner. This is a recipe for disaster. Alternate markets is just something that I leave alone in general on the Odd Jam arbitrage tool.
[02:55] It's too obscure, and most of the books don't take any liquidity on these markets. Too small to make it meaningful for a profit for an arbitrage trade. certain player prop markets that are quite obscure themselves, where certain
[03:09] books don't take much liquidity on those plays. So, let me give you a little tip in terms of how I like to size my bets when it comes to player props. In this example down here, we see player steals, Bruce Brown. Player steals in the NBA is
[03:23] probably the sixth or seventh most popular market to wager on. And because America, and they take the most liquidity, this is a tip that's going to serve you well when arbitraging player props. So, over here on FanDuel, I have
[03:36] Bruce Brown over 1 and 1/2 steals pulled up here plus 152 odds. Now, as you noticed, I'm not logged in to FanDuel. This is something that you can use with the market. This is a little tip that I love, which is you can see that
[03:50] FanDuel's taking a max wager of $658. FanDuel is miles beyond every other sports book in terms of size. Looking at a BetRivers or an MGM or Caesars, FanDuel's much larger. So, if they're only taking $658
[04:05] on this player prop, I then know that all the other rec books where I'm looking to get this wager down on, I don't want to wager $658. I want to keep my player props for arbs between probably 200 to $250 max. So, what I
[04:18] arbitrage tool is I would just type in $250. And this is going to change everything on here to be a max wager size of 250. You might be able to scale this up to 300, but for whatever play, market, or
[04:32] sport that you're looking to attack, check FanDuel's limits when you're not logged in to find out what their max wager size is. If you're finding value smash that subscribe button and click that thumbs up button. Also, tap that
[04:46] next video that I release. I'm always on the lookout giving you different tips and strategies to help you dominate the sportsbooks and extend the health of giveaway that makes it incredibly easy for most sportsbooks to spot arbitrage
[05:00] bettors, and it's something that most people don't think about. That giveaway is betting the exact amount that the calculator tells you to wager. When bettors, we want to mimic our behavior just like they do. Casual sports bettors
[05:14] just like they do. Casual sports bettors bet $50, $100, 125, 150, etc. No casual sports better bets $119. Or, in this example, you wouldn't go over to Sports example, you wouldn't go over to Sports Zen to bet $155.78.
[05:29] So, when you're using this calculator, do your best to try to find some type of wager size where both books, your wager size ends in zeros or in fives. So, right here, I found the sweet spot. 130 on FanDuel, 170 on Sports Zen. This is
[05:45] how you're going to blend in your action and look more like a casual compared to someone that's just a robot following the calculator verbatim. So, now that what you should do to keep your accounts healthy longer. The solution comes down
[05:59] to one simple principle. Start acting like a casual sports better. First, wait until an hour before the game starts. This mimics casual betting behavior perfectly. Second, focus most of your action on main line markets. Like in
[06:13] this example right here in the NHL with the puck line. Sportsbooks take way more money down on main line markets compared to player props, and as you scale this these are the markets that you want to focus your time and attention on. So,
[06:25] when you're placing that $500 arb on the puck line, this doesn't stick out like a red flag to the sportsbooks because they might be taking 5 to 10,000 dollars liquidity on this game. And if you can wait as close as you can until the game
[06:39] able to wager even more money. Make sure to round your bet sizes and end them in to round your bet sizes and end them in zeros and in fives. Also, mix in some of have to wager a ton of money on these plays, but mixing in a parlay or some
[06:54] things that you just feel were going to be solid tonight, this helps blend in your betting action and makes you look like maybe those arbitrage plays that you found, well, maybe you just got lucky with a few good spots. But mixing
[07:06] in your own opinions as well is really going to help extend the life of your account. So, throw in some overs and bet some parlays or an SGP. And this is just going to help blend in and camouflage your action. Make sure you're utilizing
[07:19] the exchanges and prediction markets. No vig, BetOpenly, ProfitX, Kalshi, different from FanDuel and DraftKings. The more money that you wager on No Vig or ProfitX, the more money that they make. They want your action. So, when
[07:33] opportunities here with arbitrage betting, let's go after this play with Bruce Brown over at ProfitX because ProfitX doesn't care how much you wager loose change on the end of your bets with ProfitX to make it look nice and
[07:47] easy and simple ending in zeros and in fives for Sportsino, well then so be it. Remember with arbitrage betting, you need to think of this a bit differently. with it. That's not the hard part. The
[07:59] tricky part is to try to get down this action without sticking out like a sore thumb to the books. Blending in with the crowd, that is your job and that's the toughest part with this whole strategy. Figuring this out is going to allow you
[08:12] compared to getting limited within the first few bets on your first day of opening that new account. A little bonus tip and strategy is learning live going on, this is when casuals are always betting. It's a lot harder for
[08:27] the sportsbooks to detect if you're a sharp or a casual when the games are into that strategy here, but a video that's linked in the description will kind of go into my filter setups, my strategy, the thinking because while the
[08:40] opportunities are very high EV and very high returns, things do move a bit that you're filtering down and focusing on just a few spots, few sports, few books to maximize your profits. The key to arbitrage betting isn't just finding
[08:54] under the radar long enough to actually profit from them long term. Avoid these and look like a casual sports better as much as you can to that individual
[09:06] bets on. Prediction markets like Kalshi and Polymarket are the future of sports betting and getting in early is where you can make a ton of money. I've made a successful habits that I love to use to
