Chapters
Patch 1207 introduces new mini zones, the Omnium Folio borrowed power system, and new gearing options to help players increase item levels before Season 1 ends.
Unlock the Omnium Folio first as it provides passive bonuses to damage, healing, or survivability. The system persists throughout the Midnight expansion, not just the current patch.
Pick up the quest 'The Magister's Call' from field accolade vendors in Silver Moon. Follow the short questline to gain access to the Omnium Folio and spend the first talent point.
Return to the Magister's Terrace Library weekly after reset to pick up the next quest and earn a talent point. The tree has five rows, requiring five weeks of progress. Alts skip the quest chain once completed on a main.
For players focused on player power, unlocking the Omnium Folio is the only major requirement. It's not necessary to grind the new zones if you don't need hero gear.
Complete the pop-up quest 'Time to Strike' and turn it in to Rift Blade Meia in Silver Moon. Follow quests to open a portal to one of two new zones, which rotate weekly.
Start on normal mode to complete setup quests and get accustomed to the zone. Heroic mode is recommended for farming after the initial quests, as it yields better field accolades and gear.
After completing setup quests, return to base, teleport to Silver Moon, and re-enter on heroic mode. Heroic is harder but provides more field accolades and heroic gear from the world boss.
Once base camp is established, alts can skip intro quests and use the Silver Moon teleporter to access the new zones directly.
The new zones are good for farming field accolades and warbound gear. Spend field accolades on specific hero gear or warbound champion gear, making them excellent for gearing alts.
For solo players, new tier six difficulty for ritual sites rewards five myth crests per run, which upgrade sparkcrafted gear to 285. Pick up the quest outside ritual sites for an extra void core bonus role.
The Sporefall one-boss raid offers top gear on mythic difficulty. Pick up the quest from Sporamir in Silver Moon for a free bonus roll on Rott Meer. Be aware that bonus rolling likely costs two rolls.
A new story covers lower history, providing context for the upcoming troll-focused patch 12.1.
Includes housing updates, redesigned moth hunt, increased experience rewards for quests, improved void assault rewards, and UI updates. Players can ignore these if focused on end-of-season goals.
The event starts June 30th, offering a 30% experience buff and timewalking dungeons. Recommend waiting to level alts until then.
Story chapters for patch 12.1 are not available until July 7th. Pick up from Orwena in Silver Moon.
Prioritize unlocking the Omnium Folio for its persistent bonuses, then tackle the new zones and Sporefall raid as needed. Plan around upcoming events for faster alt leveling and story progression.

7:25-7:51Full Transcript
[00:00] Hey folks, this is Kehani. Patch 1207 is
[00:03] finally here, bringing us a bunch of new
[00:05] content and a lot of new ways to gear
[00:07] up. We have two new mini zones to
[00:09] explore, a new borrowed power feature
[00:12] that everyone will want to unlock, and
[00:14] more gearing options for every kind of
[00:16] player to increase your item levels even
[00:18] further before season 1 comes to a
[00:21] close. So, let's go over all of the new
[00:23] content in patch 1207, which features
[00:26] offer actual player power and what we
[00:28] would recommend you get done first. Now,
[00:30] before we jump in, be sure to hit up
[00:32] that like button and subscribe so you
[00:34] never miss another video.
[00:36] The first thing everyone will want to
[00:38] get done, no matter what kind of player
[00:40] you are, is unlock the new Omnium Folio
[00:42] feature. This provides passive bonuses
[00:45] tied to these core runes, but it all
[00:47] boils down to free damage, healing, or
[00:49] survivability. So unlocking this new
[00:52] feature will make your end of season
[00:54] goals much easier. The runes and powers
[00:56] from this feature will actually persist
[00:58] throughout the rest of the Midnight
[01:00] expansion instead of being disabled in
[01:02] the next patch like most borrowed power
[01:04] systems are. So if you don't get this
[01:07] done, you'll actually be behind for the
[01:09] rest of the expansion. So it should
[01:11] definitely be at the top of your to-do
[01:13] list. To unlock the Omnium Folio, you
[01:16] need to pick up the purple important
[01:18] quest, the Magister's Call, which can be
[01:20] found near the field accolade vendors in
[01:22] Silver Moon. Go pick that up and follow
[01:24] through the relatively short quest line.
[01:27] At the end of it, you'll gain access to
[01:29] the Omnium Folio, which is a big new
[01:31] button on your mini map, and you'll earn
[01:33] your first point to spend in this new
[01:35] talent tree. You can pick whichever core
[01:37] rune suits you best, or whichever one
[01:39] sims the highest. And that's it. New
[01:42] borrowed power system unlocked. Now, you
[01:45] will want to come back to the
[01:46] Majesters's Terrace Library every week
[01:48] after reset day to pick up the next
[01:50] quest to earn another point to spend in
[01:53] the tree. We have five rows total, and
[01:55] you can spend one point per row. So,
[01:57] we're looking at five weeks of progress
[01:59] total. The Omnium Folio should unlock
[02:02] for your alts as soon as you've done the
[02:03] quests once, so you won't need to repeat
[02:05] it on any of your alts, which is another
[02:07] reason to get this squared away first.
[02:10] It's also worth noting that if you're
[02:11] mainly interested in player power and
[02:14] you don't need the hero gear from the
[02:15] new zones, this is really the only thing
[02:18] you need to do in the patch. If you just
[02:20] want to keep slamming mythic plus
[02:22] dungeons or focus on clearing through
[02:23] the raids, including the new Sporefall
[02:26] raid, the Omnium Folio is the only real
[02:28] important part of the patch to pay
[02:30] attention to.
[02:32] With the Omnium Folio unlocked, the next
[02:35] thing on your list should be to unlock
[02:36] the new zones. When you first logged in,
[02:39] you should have gotten a pop-up quest
[02:40] called the time to strike. You can hand
[02:42] that in to Rift Blade Meia near the
[02:44] field accolade vendors in Silver Moon.
[02:47] She'll give you some follow-up quests to
[02:49] recruit some very important allies to
[02:51] help with our voyage beyond the stars.
[02:53] Work through those quests, and you'll
[02:54] find yourself opening a portal to one of
[02:56] the two new zones. Now, Val and Nike are
[03:00] on weekly rotations, so we only have
[03:02] access to one of them at a time, but
[03:04] they work in more or less the same way.
[03:06] You open up the portal, establish a base
[03:08] camp, and then you can start working on
[03:10] weekly quests and farming currencies.
[03:13] You can jump straight in on heroic mode.
[03:16] You don't need to unlock it anymore, but
[03:18] I would recommend entering on normal
[03:20] mode for the first time for two main
[03:22] reasons. The first is to just get used
[03:24] to the zones before they become very
[03:26] unforgiving. Heroic mode isn't just mobs
[03:29] dealing more damage and having more
[03:30] health. There are a bunch of elites
[03:32] roaming around that make navigating the
[03:34] zone quite a pain sometimes. But the
[03:37] second reason is that you'll actually
[03:38] have quite a few quests to get
[03:40] everything set up first. So, I would run
[03:42] on normal mode until you complete the
[03:44] initial startup quests. Then you can
[03:46] swap over to heroic to do the actual
[03:48] farming. After you've gotten to about
[03:50] this point and you're able to teleport
[03:52] back to base and pick up the quest for
[03:54] the world boss, I would just head back
[03:56] to base immediately. Don't move on to
[03:58] the world boss if you want the better
[03:59] rewards from heroic difficulty, which
[04:02] pretty much everyone is going to want.
[04:04] This is where I would head out of the
[04:06] zone by using the teleporter back to
[04:08] Silver Moon and then you can jump back
[04:09] in on heroic mode. Heroic mode will be
[04:12] harder, but you'll be earning more field
[04:14] accolades from every source. And the
[04:16] world boss drops heroic gear instead of
[04:18] champion gear, so it's totally worth it.
[04:21] At this point, you will also be able to
[04:22] use the teleporter in Silver Moon to get
[04:24] back to the new zones instead of having
[04:26] to go all the way back to the void storm
[04:27] to use the portal that we opened. So,
[04:29] that's a nice bonus, too. After
[04:31] establishing the base camp, your alts
[04:33] should be able to skip over the intro
[04:35] quests and jump straight in. So, make
[04:37] sure you finish those initial quests on
[04:39] at least one character before moving on.
[04:42] Your alts will be able to use the Silver
[04:43] Moon teleporter right away as well. The
[04:46] new zones are mainly good for farming
[04:48] field accolades and warbound gear. You
[04:50] can now spend field accolades on
[04:52] specific pieces of hero gear or on
[04:54] warbound champion gear. So, the new
[04:56] zones are great for catching up with
[04:57] gear or gearing up your alts.
[05:00] If you don't need the hero gear or you
[05:02] don't have any alts to gear up, the new
[05:04] zones won't offer too much in terms of
[05:06] rewards. If you're a solo content
[05:08] player, you might want to check out the
[05:10] new tier six difficulty for ritual
[05:12] sites. You will need to turn on six
[05:15] challenges, so they're not a total
[05:16] pushover, but each tier six run will
[05:19] reward you with five myth crests, which
[05:21] you can then use to upgrade your
[05:22] sparkcrafted gear to 285 very easily. So
[05:26] that's one new gear avenue open to solo
[05:28] content players who are already fully
[05:30] kitted out in hero gear. Be sure to pick
[05:33] up the quest just outside the ritual
[05:34] sites for an extra void core bonus role
[05:37] for working through tier six ritual
[05:38] sites.
[05:40] And then of course we have the new
[05:42] Sporefall one boss raid. This raid
[05:44] offers some of the best gear in the game
[05:46] if you can clear it on mythic
[05:48] difficulty. It's over in Harendar near
[05:50] the grudge pit. Before you go
[05:52] headto-head with Rott Meer, you should
[05:54] pick up the Sporefall Rott Meer quest
[05:56] from Sporamir in Silver Moon who can be
[05:58] found right next to the portal to
[06:00] Harendar. So that's nice and easy. That
[06:02] quest rewards you with a free bonus roll
[06:04] for killing Rott Meer on any difficulty.
[06:07] So, that's definitely worth grabbing if
[06:08] you're wanting to use your bonus rolls
[06:10] to get some of that shiny 298 gear. I
[06:13] guess it's also worth noting that
[06:14] because it's a raid, bonus rolling will
[06:17] most likely cost two bonus rolls on this
[06:20] new boss. So, make sure you have at
[06:21] least two rolls before you go get your
[06:23] kills. Otherwise, you might end up being
[06:25] quite disappointed.
[06:28] If you enjoy law walking, there's a new
[06:30] story that goes over some important
[06:32] events to do with the lower, which will
[06:34] be a decent primer if you haven't paid
[06:36] too much attention to the history of the
[06:37] trolls in the past. Patch 12.1 will most
[06:40] likely have a strong troll focus, so
[06:42] it's a great time to brush up on your
[06:44] lore if you're interested in that kind
[06:46] of thing.
[06:48] From here on out, it's totally up to
[06:49] you. There are a few other updates you
[06:51] might want to check out. For example,
[06:53] housing saw a few updates like outdoor
[06:55] lighting. The moth hunt feature in
[06:57] Harendar was redesigned. A bunch of
[06:59] different one-time and weekly quests had
[07:02] their experience rewards massively
[07:03] increased. Some leveling up alts is
[07:05] going to be much faster. Void assaults
[07:07] actually had their rewards increased by
[07:09] quite a bit. And there were a few
[07:11] updates to the user interface as well.
[07:13] But if you want to ignore all of that
[07:15] and just go back to working on your end
[07:16] of season goals, spam running mythic
[07:18] plus dungeons or securing those last few
[07:21] raid boss kills, you do you.
[07:25] Now, if you're wondering where the
[07:26] Turbulent Timewaves event is and how you
[07:28] can get the big experience buff or jump
[07:30] into some time walking dungeons, that
[07:33] won't actually be available for another
[07:35] 2 weeks. The Turbulent Timeways event
[07:37] starts up on June 30th, so we do have a
[07:40] little bit to wait until that becomes
[07:42] active. With that being the case, it may
[07:44] be worth waiting on leveling up any of
[07:46] your alts so you can take advantage of
[07:48] the shiny 30% bonus experience gains,
[07:51] but that should give you plenty of time
[07:53] to explore the other patch content
[07:55] before spamming your time dungeons to
[07:57] level up your alts and earn the shiny
[07:59] new rewards.
[08:01] The same goes for the new story chapters
[08:03] that set the stage for patch 12.1. We'll
[08:06] have to wait a bit longer for these ones
[08:08] as they aren't available until July 7th.
[08:11] So after July 7th rolls around, you
[08:14] should be able to pick up a new main
[08:15] story quest from Orwena in the middle of
[08:18] Silver Moon. So keep your eyes peeled
[08:20] for that. But that's what we would
[08:22] recommend doing first in patch 1207,
[08:24] depending on your goals and overall
[08:26] objectives for the rest of the season.
[08:29] So that's it for this video. What are
[08:31] you most excited about in patch 1207? Or
[08:33] are you more interested in seeing what's
[08:35] planned for patch 12.1? Leave all your
[08:38] thoughts in the comments section below.
