Ethereum vs Solana: Best Crypto Investment for 2026?

[00:02] "It's a much more efficient and better version." And out of nowhere, people were talking about Solana. What is the best crypto investment in 2026? Is it Ethereum or is it Solana? Which one is Facebook?

[00:16] Which will be the best investment? What will perform best in 2026? Will it be Ethereum or will it be Solana? Ethereum now stores more value than anyone else. I ca n't see the future and I'm not a financial advisor. You have to investigate it yourself.

[00:31] financial advisor. You have to investigate it yourself. But I've been in a world raised through many bull and bear markets. And I think there are three big signs we can look at to see who is gaining more traction. First of all, we just

[00:44] saw this debate on CNBC a few [music] days ago. This is a nearly 3- minute clip of Ethereum vs. Solana. Listen to the debate and tell me what you think, Will they both survive? Yes, absolutely. There is a lot of demand and

[00:59] I see a lot of future demand for the blockchain space or essentially for blockchains. Most stablecoins today are on Ethereum. Ethereum is where there is a lot of , let's call it

[01:11] economic activity, but looking at the volume of transactions, more occur in Solana, which is more optimized for that type of transaction flow. And that's why I think we're going to see different use cases for different blockchains.

[01:25] But which one is the main one? I want to know which of the two is better by comparing them. is Facebook? Both are Facebook and if you look at it I think

[01:38] most of the assets are going to be tokenized. I believe there is a very significant amount of economic activity, both on Ethereum and on Solana. The problem is that, following that theory, you ca n't have a single

[01:51] blockchain. A single chain will not be able to accommodate everything. able to accommodate everything. And a better technology couldn't possibly emerge. Well, in fact we've seen people do things like call

[02:04] databases and they're blockchains. There are closed ecosystems. Imagine I'm JP Morgan and I want a tokenized deposit. I'm going to have to interact with Gman Sax and City, but I want to do it in a way that allows me to

[02:18] draw them into my ecosystem. Goldman Sax is n't going to want that. He'll want to meet me at some point in between some other service. I understand that n't think the way people thought Bitcoin would be the

[02:32] unique blockchain mechanism. Then Ethereum came along and people said, "It's a much more efficient and better version." And out of nowhere people were talking about Solana, which was an even more efficient and better version. So what

[02:46] happens is that Katywood lowered its final target based on the fact that Bitcoin wouldn't be as important in comparison. And that's my question. Hopefully the technology will improve, so believing for

[02:59] some reason that these guys and this particular blockchain have cornered the market is something I really can't understand. And I agree. We will continue to see innovation at the supply chain level. In fact,

[03:12] there's a new blockchain that was launched called Monav, which we're investing in and which should be the killer of Solana. Mol. And what is its market value?

[03:24] Uh, it has a valuation of 2 trillion. Yes, but how much does one cost? Yes, but how much does one cost? Ah, the value of one token is 0.000. Yes, it fits your budget. I liked that clip. Number one, because it

[03:38] liked that clip. Number one, because it really shows the debate that is taking place at the highest level, on a financial program with a huge audience, and they are talking about what may have the

[03:51] and they are talking about what may have the greatest performance in 2026, and I have been through many markets. There are two principles that Alcoin Daily will share with you that the media will not. Number one, the

[04:06] smartest thing you can do as an investor, and the way I've made the most money in cryptocurrencies, and what the most professional investors recommend, is that it's very difficult to pick the

[04:19] individual winner. We understand that the trend is heading in one direction, the artificial intelligence industry, for example. But who's going to win? Well, it's hard to know, but there may be downturns in the next 5 years,

[04:34] but we know that everything is heading in one direction. Cryptocurrency blockchains, tokenization: the head of the US SEC officially declared that they will tokenize traditional finance, bringing it to the blockchain in

[04:48] the next 2 years. So yes, we might have some dips along the way, but the trend is only going in one direction. And the mistake that many people make, and that I also made, is thinking that I chose the right one. That's why

[05:04] I firmly believe that the winners were not chosen. The winners that seem to be winning now are Etherium and Solana and maybe Cardano.

[05:18] But yesterday's altcoins won't be today's, and next year's altcoins might not be today's either. A new breed of leaders could emerge while the old-school dogs remain. So what I like is

[05:33] that the first thing I learned in crypto investing is to invest in the trend, which means picking five or six within that trend, saying that tokenization is improving and stablecoins are

[05:48] dominating on Ethereum today and the trend is growing. Clearly, the tokenization of tokenization in stocks seems to be happening in Solana. Meme coins too. I'll show you a chart now,

[06:02] but they're in my basket. Perhaps you should choose a newer Alcoin, Monad mentioned. I'm not an investor, but I'm sure you have to choose six, sure you have to choose six, bearing in mind that two could

[06:16] fail completely and some others could be mediocre and move sideways. They're could be mediocre and move sideways. They're nothing special, they'll just move slowly and you'll probably lose all your money. But if

[06:31] just one currency really experiences a sharp change in its price, you're really going to make a difference in money. That's what happened with Ethereum in recent years. And the second piece of advice on how to profit from cryptocurrencies in 2026

[06:47] would be to think about which one will perform better, Ethereum or Solana. Starting with the first piece of advice, it wouldn't matter because you have both in your portfolio, but if we think about the end of 2026, which doesn't matter to me

[07:01] because I'm a long- term investor, but if we speculate we could term investor, but if we speculate we could think that if you believe there will be a bull market in 2026, you should bet on altcoins.

[07:16] Now, if you're one of those who believe there will be a bear market in 2026 or perhaps a mediocre market, then you're one of those who should invest in major cryptocurrencies, either Bitcoin and secondarily Ethereum, because they have

[07:30] greater credibility. Those have the largest network, and we see that within bear markets. That always happens. In a risk-averse environment , when people don't want to take risks, they return to

[07:45] quality. We saw that with the rise in gold this year. People weren't confident in stocks, so gold ended up absorbing that liquidity. And if we think about the 2018 bear market and the 2022 bear market, which were among

[08:00] the worst, at least in my opinion, then what happened? That liquidity was siphoned from those altcoins and siphoned into Bitcoin. And secondarily, some investments went towards Ethereum. I believe

[08:15] Ethereum has crossed the chasm now. It is fundamentally different from other altcoins because of the developers who work on it. In fact, I love this clip of Raúl Paul. Which is one of the most

[08:28] interesting layers and why? Just like with the Magnificent Seven, we'll have a group of layer ones who will be the mainstay of the new internet. Bitcoin is not that because it is not a platform,

[08:42] it is an asset in its own right, which you alluded to earlier, that plays an important role. Then there is a smart contract and they are governed by the Lindy effects, which is the longer they were present. Ethereum is the oldest.

[08:57] Ethereum now stores more value than anyone else. It has more active users because much of it is built on Ethereum. The Ethereum ecosystem is gigantic. Furthermore, because it has existed for

[09:11] so long and has so many validators, it is the most secure network. Therefore, things with the highest value will tend to gravitate towards Ethereum. That's why NFTs have remained primarily on Ethereum. The reason is

[09:26] that NFTs are the most valuable single piece of block space ever of block space ever created and will remain so, just like the most expensive single piece of canvas and cotton ever created, which will always be

[09:39] Leonardo da Vinci's Salvator Mundi painting , or the most expensive public spaces, whether it's Central Park or Manhattan, whatever . So that's the role of Ethereum. Ethereum plays a

[09:54] big role in the financial system because they need security, they need something that is less risky, they have been tried and tested for a while. mentality because there's an aversion to risk. Liquidity is being

[10:09] risk. Liquidity is being siphoned off. Will we go any lower? Well, many people leave, but many people also put their money back into quality because they don't want to lose it. The point is, if you believe we're going to

[10:22] The point is, if you believe we're going to enter a be market in 2026, then you need to take advantage of this opportunity to increase your position in quality, to increase your position in quality, whether it's Bitcoin or Ethereum.
