[00:01] exactly how to make money with affiliate marketing. Over the past 2 years, I've business model, and I've made over six figures along the way. I'm not going to gateep anything. I'm going to give you the full blueprint so you can start

[00:15] today, even if you have zero experience and zero budget. Here's what we are going to cover today. what affiliate marketing actually is, the niches that are still profitable, how to find the best affiliate programs, how to set up

[00:28] your website, how to drive traffic for free, and the top tools that you can use. If you follow along, this could be the most rewarding online income stream you start this year. So, let's dive in. So, first, let's talk about what

[00:41] affiliate marketing is and why it actually works. Affiliate marketing is simply you recommending a product and when someone buys through your trackable link, you earn a commission from the merchant for referring the customer to

[00:53] them. It works well because the merchant only pays when a sale happens and you don't need to deal with any inventory, any shipping or any customer support. For example, let's say I make a video reviewing a laptop. I break down the

[01:06] pros and cons, share my experience, and in that review I include my unique affiliate link. When someone clicks on that link and makes a purchase, the retailer pays me a commission. That retailer could be anyone. It could be

[01:19] Amazon. It could be Best Buy, Walmart, or any company with an affiliate program. It's a win-win-win situation. The shopper gets a helpful recommendation. The merchant gets the sale, and I earn a commission for making

[01:32] the referral. At the core, your role as an affiliate is to create genuine useful content, capture attention, and connect the right people with the right products. Next, let's talk about the benefits of affiliate marketing. I

[01:45] consider it as one of the best online businesses to start. Your only job is simply connecting the buyer with the brand. So, it's a very simple business model. The startup costs are extremely low and it gives you complete location

[01:58] freedom. As long as you have Wi-Fi, you can work from anywhere. Whether that's from your home, a coffee shop, or while traveling. Another huge advantage is scalability. There's no income cap, so your earnings grow as you create more

[02:11] useful content and drive more traffic. On top of that, it has evergreen potential. Once your content ranks on Google or YouTube, for example, it can generate income for years with little or no extra work. And here's the best part.

[02:24] You don't need a massive audience to succeed. Just the right strategy to get in front of the right people. Next, we are going to talk about choosing your niche. Now, getting this right is extremely important because building on

[02:36] a topic you don't care about makes consistency almost impossible. And consistency is the number one factor in affiliate marketing. The truth is most beginners give up not because the model doesn't work, but because they lose

[02:49] motivation before the results show up. Your niche should be something that you're genuinely curious about. So, you keep creating, learning, and improving long enough to see the payoff. So, let's go to Chat GPT and brainstorm some niche

[03:02] ideas. So, you can type in something like act as an affiliate marketing expert. What are the 10 most profitable and evergreen niches for affiliate marketing? And just hit enter and let's go through

[03:16] the results. So first we have health and wellness, personal finance, and then we have technology and gadgets, beauty and skincare, home improvement and DIY,

[03:29] online education and e-learning, travel and adventure, parenting and family, pets and pet care, and then we have green energy and sustainability. So that tend to do well with affiliate marketing. And what you can do is to use

[03:45] this list as a starting point. You can scan through the list and circle anything that actually matches your interest or skills. But remember, don't pick a niche just because it's profitable. You also want to make sure

[03:57] Here's a couple good questions that you can ask yourself. What's something that you genuinely enjoy and could talk about it for hours? And what is the topic that you're always curious to learn more about? Again, choosing a niche that is

[04:11] profitable is important, but the key is also to pick something that you actually content around it for months or even years. And that's what makes it sustainable for the long term. Once you have your niche, it's time to find

[04:25] products that will actually pay you to promote them. So, let's talk about how There are many platforms that you can sign up for. One of the easiest places to start is with Amazon Associates. This is basically Amazon's affiliate program

[04:39] that lets you promote any products that are sold on Amazon and you earn a commission when someone buys through your link. And it's super easy to set up. So, what you can do, you can just come to Amazon Associates. This is what

[04:51] the website looks like and come into sign up. You can sign in with your email account yet, you can click on create your Amazon account. Fill in your

[05:03] information and just click on create your Amazon account. your information and when you complete them you'll be able to submit your application and when you get approved you'll be able to start promoting

[05:16] Amazon's products. And to give you a better idea of how much commission that you can expect to make from Amazon here we're looking at the commission rate chart. So here we can see that televisions and digital video games you

[05:29] get 2%. Computer and computer components you get 2.5%. any toys, furniture, home improvement, gardening, and pets products, you get 3%. And if you promote physical books,

[05:43] you get 4.5%. And this goes all the way up to 10% with luxury beauty products. So, let's say if you send traffic to Amazon and your referral buys a piece of furniture that costs $1,000, that means at a 3%

[05:57] commission rate, you are going to make a $30 commission for every sale. And one you send traffic to them with your affiliate link and let's say if they recommended, but they end up buying something else, you will still get

[06:12] credit for that purchase and you will still receive a commission for it. Now, Amazon is a great starting point, but there are many other platforms with way higher commissions. My personal favorites are Impact Radius, Partner

[06:24] Stack, and Awin, which used to be called Share Cell. on these three platforms. different brands and products that you can start promoting. Let me show you guys what it looks like. So, here we're looking at the Impact Radius platform

[06:39] and you can just sign up for an account. It's totally free. So, what you can do is to just go to publisher and click on affiliates with brands that your audience will love. And they have many well-known

[06:53] brands like Adidas, All State, Fanatics, Lenovo. So these are all very popular brands. So let's click on find brand partners. And here's where you can sign up for an account. And then after you signed up

[07:06] dashboard that you'll see. You can come up here to discover and click on find brands. And when you scroll down, you'll see the different companies that run their affiliate programs on here. And what you

[07:20] can do is also go to sort by different categories. And depending on what niche you're in, you can narrow down by that filter. You can also search by payout model. So if there's any preferred payout model that you have, you can also

[07:33] narrow down with that. So for this example, let's go with pet supplies. And companies that you could partner with. And every company um have like a different commission rate. So for example, for this company, you will get

[07:48] 25% of every online sale. So, it really just depends on which company that you work with and they're all different. So, let's scroll down and you can see all the different brands. So, let's look at Petco. So, we can

[08:01] click on this and then you see the details here. This is how much they pay according to the different types of referral. And let's say if you want to apply to work with Petco, all you got to do is to just click on apply and then

[08:14] you can just fill out the information and submit your application. And once you get approved for a particular brand, you'll be able to see like a link button and then where you can just copy your link and then just click on copy link

[08:27] here and then it's going to give you a unique link that you can use to start promoting. So if someone actually use this link and purchase something then you will get a commission. And let's say if you can't find a brand that you want

[08:39] to work with on these affiliate networks, what you can do is to just go to Google and just search brand and affiliate program. And most likely you'll find it because most companies do have one, even if it's hosted on some

[08:52] other platforms. Now, before you promote anything, here's the golden rule. Only recommend good products. Ideally, things that you have used yourself and can honestly vouch for. If not, at least research the product thoroughly because

[09:05] turns out to be junk, your audience is going to connect that bad experience with you. And once you lose the trust, it's really hard to get it back. So credibility, and your audience is going to stick with you for the long haul.

[09:20] What you also want to understand is how the commission structures work. Basically, how you get paid. Some brands pay you a percentage. For example, if you make a $100 sale and the commission rate is 10%, then you will earn $10 in

[09:34] commission. This can also work with recurring revenue. Say you refer someone to a $50 a month software and at a 10% commission rate, that's $5 every month as long as they stay a customer. And some brands pay you a flat fee. It's

[09:48] also called cost per sale. So, if the cost per sale is $50, you'll earn $50 in customer spends. Now, this is not something that you need to overthink at the moment, but understanding this will help you plan for the kind of income

[10:03] that you want to build over time. The next step is to set up your website, which is the backbone of your affiliate marketing business. It lets you create useful content that you can rank on Google. And search traffic is really

[10:15] powerful because it usually has the highest buying intent. That's where a lot of affiliate revenue can come from. And the platform that I recommend you to use is Hostinger. It's fast, it's affordable, and it's easy to set up. So,

[10:28] listed below in the description, and then you'll find the best available deal on Hostinger. And once you use that link, you'll get to this landing page, and we can scroll down. So, what you want to do is to pick one of these

[10:41] plans. For affiliate marketing site, I recommend going with the business plan, which is only $4 a month. So, it's affordable. It lets you create up to 50 websites, so you have flexibility and you can test multiple projects. You also

[10:55] get a free domain and a free email. And also, you get website templates that professional, so you can have your website go live in about 5 to 10 minutes. It also includes built-in AI tools that can help you write better and

[11:09] write faster. So, I'm going to go with the business plan. So, we can just click on choose plan. And then you're going to select the period. You can select one month, 12 months, 24 months, or 48 months. I

[11:24] recommend to go with at least 12 months. The longer the term, the lower the rate that you are able to lock in. So, I'll pick the 12 months here. And then just click on continue. And then you just need to create your account and enter in

[11:37] your payment information. And from there, you're going to choose WordPress as your website builder. for affiliate marketing website, WordPress is ideal because it integrates with many SEO plugins, which makes it a lot easier for

[11:50] you to rank your content. And in terms of what themes that you can use for your WordPress site, two great options are Astra or Cadence, both are really fast and beginner friendly, and they include free started templates that you can use.

[12:03] So, you can just import them and they will work in minutes. And in terms of modifying or customizing your website, what you can do is to use Elementor, which is a drag and drop website builder that can integrate with your theme. And

[12:16] that way you can design your site without using any code. Now, I would set aside around an hour to get your website up and running. So, what you want to do is install your theme, import a starter template, add your logo and colors, and

[12:30] create your basic pages, which are your home, about, contact, and blog pages. And that is all you need to start. From there, you are going to start writing content that actually gives value to your audience. The goal isn't to just

[12:44] have a website. It is to publish helpful articles that can either save your audience time or make their life easier. Because at the end of the day, affiliate marketing only works if you're providing some type of value to your audience. And

[12:57] in return, people will gladly use your links. And that's when you can actually start monetizing and make money with affiliate marketing. Now that your website is set up, we need to get eyeballs on your content. And we're

[13:09] going to do it without spending a single dollar on ads. Now, let's be real for a second. Traffic is the hardest part of affiliate marketing. But the good news only need to reach the right type of

[13:22] audience. Because honestly, 1,000 visitors who are ready to buy are way more valuable than the 100,000 random clicks that never convert. So instead of chasing views, we are going to focus on traffic with buying intent. And to do

[13:37] that, we are going to focus on three types of media platforms. First, we have your website, which is your foundation. We have long form media content like YouTube. And then we have short form content like Tik Tok, Instagram or

[13:49] YouTube shorts. What you want to do is to start with your website. Then choose one media platform to focus on. Don't spread yourself too thin at the start. Get consistent with creating content, build momentum, and once you're

[14:03] comfortable, that's when you can branch out to other platforms. So, let's start with your website because it is the foundation that everything else is built on. One of the most effective strategy to get free traffic is by publishing

[14:15] searchable content, which are topics that people are already searching for. The beauty of this strategy is that it's evergreen. Once your post start ranking in Google, they can keep bringing in traffic, not just today, but for months

[14:27] or even years. That's how you can create traffic that works for you 24/7. Let me show you how to find these content ideas. So, let's go to Google and type in your niche and then add a modifier like best review versus, howto,

[14:43] or for beginners. These are all the different modifiers that you can use. So for this example, let's go with best laptop. And the autocomplete will instantly give you topics ideas that people are already searching for. So as

[14:57] you can see here, we search for best laptop and then we see best laptop 2025, best laptop for college, best laptop brands, best laptop for business, best laptop for video editing. So these are all the different angles that you can

[15:12] use in order to create useful content. And once you click on a result, we can come down here and then we can also look at where it says people also ask. So this is basically Google telling you the relevant questions. So you can also use

[15:26] this to generate more ideas. So those are ready made questions that you can turn them into blog post. What you can also do is to scroll all the way down and then you'll see the related searches and pick a topic that you can answer

[15:39] clearly and create content on that. Another tool that you can use is Answer the Public, which is a keyword tool that you can use to turn these autocomplete questions into easy topic ideas so you can see exactly what beginners in your

[15:53] niche are searching for. Next, we are going to talk about YouTube. Creating long- form YouTube videos can be a great source for free traffic. And here's why. Viewers from long- form content usually convert much better than short form

[16:07] content. Because think about it, if someone is watching a 10-minute video, entertainment. They're researching, comparing, and getting ready to make a decision. And the cool thing is with YouTube, you don't need to go viral.

[16:21] That's not the goal. All you need to do is to create content that answers bias questions. Similar to your website, YouTube videos can be evergreen. You upload a video today and if it ranks, it can keep driving you traffic for months

[16:34] or even years. For example, if you were reviewing laptops, some videos ideas reviewing laptops, some videos ideas could be top five laptops under $1,000, how to choose the right laptop in five steps. Finding these ideas are easy,

[16:47] too. You can just simply search on YouTube. Let me show you. So, let's go to YouTube and in the search bar, let's type in the keyword in your niche. And for us, let's use the same example and type in laptop 4. And then you'll see a

[17:01] list of the suggested searches. So these are all potential content ideas that you could use. So here we have laptop for video editing, laptop for students, laptop for engineering students. So this is YouTube telling you what are the

[17:16] popular topics that other people are searching for. You can also go to Google Trends to see the trends of the keywords. So here we're looking at Google Trends and we can just type in laptop for business for example. Click

[17:29] on explore and let's come here and click on this and select past 12 months. You can either look at web search or YouTube search depending on what data you want to look at. So here we can see

[17:43] the overall trend of this specific keyword over the past 12 months. And as you can see the recent months are trending higher. What you can do is to come down here as well and look at the related topics and

[17:56] also the related queries and you can select rising or top to get different select rising or top to get different results. So this is also a great idea to find more content ideas. And lastly, you can use a tool like Bid

[18:08] IQ which can show you keywords and trending topics that are getting views right now. This tool just makes researching a lot faster and easier. Now I won't sugarcoat it. Long form content like YouTube takes a lot more effort.

[18:21] You have to get comfortable talking on camera, set up proper lighting, have a good microphone, and you need to know how to edit. And honestly, most people won't step out of the comfort zone to do it. But here's the good news. If you

[18:34] want to go this route, you really don't need a fancy setup, especially when long as your content is genuinely valuable and actually helps people, you will get views on your videos and you will get conversions. So, yes, YouTube

[18:48] definitely takes more effort, but long-term it can definitely pay off. Now, let's talk about short form content like Tik Tok, Instagram res, and YouTube shorts. Here's the thing. Short form usually doesn't convert as well as long

[19:01] form like your website or YouTube videos because the audience mindset is entertainment, not doing in-depth research. But that doesn't mean that you should skip it. Short form content still has some big advantages. It's faster to

[19:15] create. You can test new ideas without a ton of effort. You get quick feedback on what works. And the best part, you can use it to drive people into your long- form content where most of your conversions are going to happen. So

[19:27] think of short form content as your top funnel. It grabs attention, builds curiosity, and pulls people into your world. Then your website and your YouTube videos are going to do the heavy lifting when it comes to building trust

[19:40] and making sales. If you want to post on multiple platforms without burning out, the easiest way is to repurpose your content. Here's how it works. Let's say you make one YouTube video, you can turn that same video into a blog post using

[19:54] the same outline or transcript. Then you can cut the same video into multiple short form clips for Tik Tok, Instagram res, or YouTube shorts. And the cool part, you don't even have to do it manually. Tools like Submagic can

[20:06] automatically pull the best moments from your long form video and turn them into short form clips within seconds. It can even add B-roll, style your captions, and make your clip looks polished and ready to post all within just a few

[20:19] clicks. And when it comes to posting those clips across multiple platforms at the same time, a tool like Repurpose.io can save you hours by automatically scheduling and publishing them on different platforms for you. For

[20:32] example, you can upload a clip to your Tik Tok account, and that same exact video can be automatically posted to Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, Facebook Reels, or even on LinkedIn without you having to manually upload

[20:45] and post on each platform. The bottom line is these tools take the heavy lifting off your plate, so you can focus on creating great content while they handle the editing, formatting, and posting across every platform for you.

[20:57] Next, we're going to talk about how to actually create content that sells. Because the most reliable way to drive sales isn't by pushing products. It's by creating useful content that actually solves people's problems. When you lead

[21:10] with value, you build trust. And trust is what makes people buy. For example, if you want to promote a fitness app, you can make a video on a topic like five best at home workouts for beginners. You teach the workout, share

[21:23] tips, and then naturally recommend the app as your go-to tool. You also want to answer the real questions that buyers are asking. What are the pros and cons? How much does it cost? How does it compare to other alternatives? When you

[21:36] give people the exact info they need to make a decision, they're far more likely to trust your recommendations and take action. And if you want your content to actually drive sales, you need to focus on buyer intent. Not every viewer is

[21:49] ready to buy. Some don't even realize that they have a problem yet. The key is and then making the right type of content to match. Think of it this way. Your audience has problems and your content is the solution. If they're not

[22:03] even aware of the problem, your job is to educate them. Once they realize the problem, your job is to guide them towards the solution and that's where break this down because not everyone watching your content is in the same

[22:16] place. These are the four stages of buyer intent. Stage one is unaware. These people don't even realize that they've got a problem. So your job here is to tell stories, share common mistakes, or highlight the symptoms of

[22:29] the problem so it clicks for them. Stage two is problem aare. Now they know something is wrong, but they don't know the fix. That's when you create beginner friendly guides or quick tips that point them towards possible solution. Stage

[22:43] three is solution aware. At this point, they know solutions exist, but they're not sure which one is the best for them. This is where comparison guides or pros and cons work best. You're basically helping them sort through the noise. And

[22:57] finally, stage four, which is ready to buy. These people are almost there. They're comparing options, looking at reviews, and just need the final push. So content like is it worth it or setup guides work perfectly here. People in

[23:11] the ready to buy stage have the highest buying intent. They're the most likely to turn into customers. But don't ignore the early stages. That's where you can educate, build trust, and move people down the funnel until they're ready. So,

[23:24] at the end of the day, your content isn't just information. It's both the education, which is to make them aware of the problem, and the solution, which is positioning your product as the answer. Now, before we wrap up, let's

[23:37] talk about a few common mistakes that you want to avoid. Mistake number one is promoting too many products at once. When you're starting out, it's normal to But here's the thing. If you spread yourself too thin, you won't get

[23:51] traction anywhere. So instead, stick with one to three solid products in the beginning. Once you start getting results, then you can branch out. Mistake number two is trying to grow on too many platforms at once. This one's

[24:04] need to be on every platform. But honestly, that's the fastest way to burn yourself out. Focus on mastering one main platform first along with your website. It's way better to be really good on one channel than just average on

[24:18] five. If you do want to post on multiple platforms, you can use tools like Submagic and Repurpose.io to save time and effort by automating the process. Mistake number three is not being consistent. This is the big one. A lot
