[11:31] live orchestral concert of Final Fantasy music. And at one point like you know the announcers were like, "And now a special guest." And they like they gestured they pointed directly to where we were sitting in our row and they're

[11:45] >> no >> they wouldn't no one don't know. >> And I was like we just started like smiling and then like literally the seat next to me like Masciter Masi stands up and we're like

[12:01] sitting next to the [\h__\h] for the entire concert. I was like, "Oh, >> we're like oh >> and then just suddenly the whole crowd just turned

[12:16] they're not they >> and I was like that's not this I was happening. This is like a weird nightmare >> nightmare. They're going to be like so you haven't even played Dantra yet. Like

[13:11] >> My week in WoW has been okay, actually. I mean, starting from this week, it's been good. Yesterday, I bopped through like my delves. I did my three delves. I did, you know, some basic stuff. Oh, I did some crafting for our guilds.

[13:25] >> You did. You were You were all complaining about the crafting and then actually got a guild order that you did. >> I got a guild order. >> Really? You got to check the guild discord. Got to check the

[13:38] >> maker extraordinary. >> Um I dropped a load of gold on the recipes for like the world 10 like root clasp whatever the the marksman hunter two crafted items. Uh your belt and your boots. Uh, and I

[13:54] >> They have like a built-in embellishments >> and they they have a they have a synergy >> Yeah. When you have both of them, you >> Yeah. So, they're basically like a two set in addition to your four set. And

[14:06] crafted items. So, I was like, "Okay, to craft." Great. Uh, two, I'm going to do this myself so I can wear my gear. It says that I crafted it myself. It feels good. And then I, you know, I managed to

[14:20] do it. Uh and and I and I dropped a huge amount of gold, especially on one of the ones which drops I think from like Chimeas. Um and uh and I did it and I was like, "Wow, I'm really in the hole now." Uh

[14:35] that re I really took a hit with that one. And then uh yeah, so yesterday you know we we have a like guild discord with people doing crafting stuff and I someone was like, "Oh, can anyone craft the uh you know the the the belt?" Uh

[14:50] and I was and someone immediately responded and was like, "Oh, no." Uh I think only Kimchi has that one. Kimchi is the sugar daddy. He's the extraordinaire of our guild. buddy. >> He's got he's got he's got all the dough

[15:04] >> He's got he's got he's got all the dough and uh in I think he has something like 20 million gold in his like all together. Yeah, you want me pie. You're >> He's not mess He No, no, exactly. No, exactly. I'm not I'm not I would never.

[15:18] But someone was like, "Oh, well clearly only Kimchi has this recipe." And I was only Kimchi has this recipe." And I was like, "No." Hello, I also have it. Boom. >> And And you're high enough. You can just whack out the pentagon. whack out the

[15:31] >> As you do. >> I I kind of, you know, filled out all of the specializations that I wanted to for my own personal use. So, I started thought it might help you. And you were like, "Oh, gun."

[15:44] >> No, I just I just had someone Yeah, just had someone craft me the gun. Um, yeah. So, yeah, my my my weekend before that was like a bit quiet, but now I'm like I'm back on it. I'm excited. And I have to say I'm like I'm very motivated by

[15:57] >> Yeah. >> Yeah. Well, so am I. I mean, we've got raid night tonight, and I haven't checked yet, but when I checked last raid night on Sunday, when we killed No, we killed the Lar on

[16:11] the Lar on Thursday. >> Or did we? Yeah, probably. Yeah, we >> Wow. >> Uh yeah, which I was pretty I was pretty

[16:23] happy about. Um because [clears throat] we weren't doing very well at all for really edgy, you know, when it's a bad raid night and you know those recently. >> Dude's getting edgy, right? And I was

[16:36] like, I think we should have five healers, you know, DPS is all right. think that's the play. I didn't push it. I wasn't dick about it, but I would mention it every now and then. And then we did swap to five healers and we got,

[16:50] started getting to the final phase and stuff like that. and low we killed it on awesome and I was top I don't want to go on about it but um and and that was great. So then on uh oh what Sunday we

[17:03] went into uh March of Calamas and we killed the bird. This is heroic and and kicking our [\h__\h] obviously because like absolutely reading us pushing our [\h__\h] thing. >> Um but we'll get it. It's one of those

[17:19] ones where honestly like you don't even need to talk about it. You don't even It's like you literally just need to keep pulling out over and over and over. Exactly. And let people work it out. >> Um I think so. I I I think we're

[17:31] which I really don't want to do. I just want to bop on and like, >> you know, the gear acquisition is so quick this season that apart from trinkets, there's basically nothing else. Well, yeah. That anyone needs at

[17:43] all. You know, we're get like literally no one is even rolling on tier pieces anymore in heroic of course. Everyone useless [\h__\h] apart from the trinkets cuz >> A >> feel so dumb. I'm like I'm investing all

[17:56] mythic gear now apart my trinkets which like champion sucks man. I'm like yeah it sucks. Um so yeah so I I I think we'll probably recle hero but I really hope we don't. I really hope we just jump into uh to Lura again and and do

[18:09] that which would be super fun. But uh when I checked after we killed Ayaria and the bird where we were in the race to world first like Imortalis, >> we were actually in first.

[18:25] >> We were actually when I I'm sure this has changed now because this was a few days ago, but when I checked, >> we were the only immortalis guild who >> other guilds had killed birds. >> I don't believe it.

[18:38] >> But no one else had killed. We were like very much in the lead in that sense. >> Uh, do you want to check it now? Is that what you want to do? I don't because I get proven wrong. >> No, but I believe you at the time, but

[20:40] >> Yeah. Yeah, absolutely. Norsker Immortalis aren't uh don't seem to be rating at all um this which is really they well they are longtime winners, you

[20:52] know, they were like I think they're reigning champions in fact. Um so I mean yeah moment it's between us and uh in Infinitus or immortalis and I might might bring that up. I might bring that up.

[21:05] >> And be like, >> "We've got a chance of winning the racer >> I I think that might motivate them. I think that might light the fire >> RA. I actually think that would be more satisfying. Even if it puts our progress

[21:18] [laughter] think, you know, you've got to take your little challenges where you can get them right. And you've got to you've got to like, you know, you you've got to set little kind of achievements for yourself. And I think I think the

[21:31] morale boost that it would give us to win the race to world first heroic for immortalis. I think you can't put a price on that frankly. >> Do it babe. >> Yeah. Well, okay. So, okay.

[22:55] >> Right. because you know everything's a bit simple. The gear I don't think I don't think mechanics will ever be this simple again. I don't think that will stay like at this level actually but you know I just think now would be

[23:09] the time you know and beginning raid of the season uh beginning raid of an expansion first season is always like when people are most motivated and most kind of like up for it and you have the most players and stuff like that. So,

[23:21] um, and you know, then when Lura turned out to be at mythic level in the race to of all time. That's what everyone's saying at the time. One of the hardest it. Yeah. Everyone was like, how's that prediction holding up, Tally, for

[23:36] cutting edge, you know, for your guild? How's that holding up? Hardest hardest [\h__\h] it's going to be nothing like that by the time we get there. Are you unrecognizable. And you know, devil's advocate, if you

[23:51] you could say, well, that's the problem with the gear acquisition thing because usually gear acquisition >> is a nerf in itself, right? You get more the most >> organic nerf. It's just getting better

[24:04] going into mythic with like the best gear you can possibly get at the moment. Um, and like uh so you know, that that nerf doesn't really exist anymore. So like nerf it down much more than they usually do from a skill level. It's why

[24:19] place. And because usually, you know, the race to world first skills, they're going in there with absolute like chudge gear, like just like heroic stuff, you know. Um and and uh you know, they went in there with like absolutely sort of

[24:32] kitted out and and uh toolled up to the nines. So, um, yeah, like I still think it's the best time to get cutting edge, >> but then of course last night there was a little announcement on, uh, Liquid

[24:47] Max's um, interview with some devs. >> Yeah. >> That, you know, we are going to be seeing with the new one boss raid in 10.0 12.0.7, >> we're going to be seeing Flex Mythic.

[25:02] >> Flex Mythic is coming. Flex Mythic. >> You predicted it. >> Well, I wouldn't go that far, but we It says It says here for it. >> Yeah, I've been begging for it, me and like many, many other people. Blizzard

[25:16] announced that the Sporeful raid in patch 12.0.7 will have a mythic mythic flex difficulty. In an interview with Maximum, Blizzard has announced that the Sporefall one boss raid in Harendar will offer a flexible 15 to 25 player mythic

[25:31] difficulty for the very first time, which developers hope will help players >> There you go. >> Yeah, there is uh people confuse A that that there's a one boss raid in 12.7, there's a one boss raid in season two as

[25:47] be I mean technically this is the second one boss raid. uh this this season. So um yeah, like so for those of you who don't know, I mean this is huge. Okay, concerns. I have some feedback to give on this, right? Uh and from what we know

[26:03] so far, but this is so so interesting. >> We've been talking for a long time about heroic raiding and how it's got a little bit easy. If you go back to, you know, Legion, for example, look at uh Tuma Sagaras right now. We were progressing

[26:18] that in heroic and we're a heroic raid team, right? And we were progressing race to world first, heroic for girls with names a bit like immortalis, that month-long segment. That was good content right there. Now it's all over

[26:32] before it even starts, right? Because we go in and we're clearing this stuff much quicker. And you know, part of the fact is that I'm, you know, we're better more significant part of that is that heroic is just I think what with all the

[26:45] plus being such a good way of getting gear now and and improvements in the vault to make it more user friendly and delves as well of course I feel like heroic just isn't off the difficulty level that it used to be

[26:58] bellyars he talks about this a lot as well who were primarily heroic raiding groups and that gave us the challenge we wanted for a few months and that was great. It's left us kind of in the middle of stuff because heroic isn't

[27:13] anymore. And mythic is off the table. And the reason mythic is off the table is because uh we can't consistently get a solid 20. >> You [clears throat] know, we could get slightly less, we could get quite a bit

[27:27] more, >> but to actually go in with a set 20, know, you have to be 20. Well, you don't have to be 20, but you know, it's not 20. So, you want to go in there with 20 people and no more. And we're just not

[27:42] really we don't really want to bench people, you know, for certain fights and does it? No. Exactly. So, you there's this real appetite in our guild to kind of test ourselves against mythic difficulty and mythic mechanics, but we

[27:57] just we literally don't for us the main challenge is literally getting the group together, you know? It's like it's and so that's that's the major I'm sure later on skill would al also be a major stumbling block for it but at the moment

[28:11] maybe it's right maybe it's wrong but psychologically that's how we feel. So the idea of uh mythic flex where you can go with 1525 is a game changer.

[28:23] >> super cool. >> Yeah. Um and I I'm sure it will be something that like our team kind of partake in. Yeah. >> Uh let's hear them. >> Yeah. Well, so you know, there's a

[28:37] [laughter] >> And the reason uh given is one that I completely approve of. By the way, I absolutely agree with Ian and the devs absolutely agree with Ian and the devs on this. I think that 20man fixed mythic

[28:50] raiding is like the ultimate form of World of Warcraft. This sounds so dumb, right? I I genuinely think that in a game like WoW, >> Absolutely. >> You know, like when I when I first

[29:03] started playing this game, I never thought I'd be able to like do raiding at any level, honestly. Like the first time I ever set foot in a raid was when I did LFR with you, which was like 5 years after I started playing

[29:16] >> And and like cuz you took me in there and you're like, "Don't be scared, little boy. I'll I'll carry you through LFR. We can do it together. It's a very good way of leveling. [laughter] >> Yeah. I got to get my got to get my

[29:31] >> Yeah. I definitely There's nothing in this for me. Definitely. Yeah. Let's do >> So, like um and the reason the reason why uh anyway, so like I I I've always

[29:43] seen raiding as as the top level of WoW content, and I think that's good. I I ever be able to do that content, therefore it's bad. It should be open to me. No, I was like, I'll never be able to do that content, but look how awesome

[29:57] it is. Look how cool. It made me like the game more by having this like out of reach. I will never be able to do that aspirational content, right? And I like I I think, you know, that's an underrated factor in games like this. I

[30:11] think it's okay. Not everyone should be able to do everything. And I think raiding is the ultimate pinnacle of that. And I think like that's why I'm always in favor of like, you know, the top tier raid loot being like five item

[30:23] plus or anything like that or having like really cool unique effects on it I just think it's like the ultimate aspirational content is raiding in WoW. And I think it's good to have an absolute top tier of difficulty content.

[30:39] And I think mythic raiding is that. I think 20man mythic raiding is that because the whole idea with with fixed 20man raiding is that those fights can be tuned and designed to the level that we saw with Lura in the race to world

[32:04] 18man group and the health scales to meet you, then that's by definition easier. It's easier than than a fixed 20man raiding. And that has in my mind
